Let’s begin with server Alexa on 9/8 around 7:00pm… STAR STELLAR!!! She was informative, kind, engaging, and provided my husband and I the best service we have had in 4years of living in Las Vegas. This young lady made our night so much that we will return to experience her bartending services this coming Saturday!!! lol (she is normally a bartender and was taking a shift serving when we were there). Next, the food… Chef’s Kiss!!! I ordered the turkey burger (OUTSTANDING!!!…. And it’s a turkey burger!!!) along with the CHEESY MASHED POTATOES!! My husband ordered the Salmon that came with Snow Peas and a wild rice pilaf and a sauce from the GOD’s, also OUTSTANDING!!! We ordered the seasonal watermelon salad (OMG!!!!) and cocktails! The Smokey Old Fashion will be talked about for years to come, and the amazingly perfect tart drink I had called the CRIME OF PASSION came with a rhubarb foam that was to die for. All in all dinner was amazing, and it felt so good to experience amazing food accompanied along with amazing service. This is what dining out is all about and we were pleased. Thank you, True Foods!!
The food is always amazing…the Mushroom and Spinach pizza was so delicious, I also had Chicken Pesto Pasta which was very tasty. Our server was excellent, very attentive and genuinely friendly. Definitely recommend this place
I ordered the Ancient Grains Bowl with blackened salmon! It is as good as it looks. Toni, the bartender, was excellent! She highly recommended this menu choice. I was not disappointed. I will return. I recently visited True Food in Downtown Summerlin. Still a great place. Eli was our server this time. Friendly and good service! Food was very good. Another pleasant experience at this restaurant.
We recently had a big party here, the staff was great the managers were great. They were able to get us in with a weeks notice. The food is great overall with some dishes tasting better than others. By far our favorite was the pesto pasta (we added chicken). We weren’t really satisfied with the margarita pizza. They lacked seasoning and time in the oven. I highly recommend their new mezcal drink, looks pink girly but taste is tropical and the buzz is great. The only downside of having such a big party, as it usually goes with big parties, is that someone’s order gets messed up or didn’t get put in. They ended up comping those meals. I would definitely not hesitate to have a party of 15 or less here next time.
Food was amazing! Came fairly quick. Atmosphere was nice and our server was great.
True Food Kitchen is the best restaurant in Downtown Summerlin! We have had lunch here several times and wanted to try the happy hour drinks and menu today and were not disappointed! We dined outside on their fabulous patio with our dogs. Debbie our server was awesome and provided exceptional service making sure everything was perfect. Matt the manager came by our table and was so friendly and helpful. We enjoy coming to Summerlin and eating at True Food Kitchen for their delicious organic food and great service. It's a great choice for a dog friendly restaurant! We highly recommend this restaurant to our friends and neighbors in Las Vegas. Everything is fabulous!
I forgot to take photos because I was so excited to be in Vegas to enjoy True Food Kitchen, one of my all time favs. I ordered the garden veggie pizza, delish! My husband had the hamburger, the meat was so flavorful. You can’t go wrong dining here and it’s healthy to boot! A year later we had a wonderful experience at True Food Kitchen! My quinoa bowl was so flavorful! My husband loved his beef burger. Every time we’re in Vegas we make it a priority to dine here.
Timmy was our server and between him and the incredible food we had to share our that we had a 5 star experience. The first in class ingredients with people who care that are cooking and serving made our day. Recommend- the Matcha, coffee, vegan pizza
Fresh and colorful, True Food Kitchen is a fantastic dining experience. The best Turkey Burger I've ever had. My wife LOVED the Good Earth Kale Cobb salad. Already want to go back, even after just leaving. Great service and delicious meals.
First time eating here. It definitely won't be my last. I've tried other healthy option food places, but this one might be the best yet. First, they got this Apple lemonade that was surprisingly good considering it wasn't too sweet. I ate the Chicken Sausage Pizza. Delicious!!!! The crust could have been a little crisper, but overall, it was super tasty. My wife had the Turkey Burger with sweet potatoe hash and Kale. She loved all of it. Everything was cooked and seasoned nicely. I definitely recommend this place if you are nearby Summerlin area!!!
This was our first time here and we were ordering from the winter menu. We were so impressed with so many healthy, delicious items on the menu. Our server was incredibly prompt and pleasant and made our whole first time dining experience awesome. We ordered the butternut squash soup to start and then a turkey burger and the quinoa bowl. I can’t say enough about how delicious the food was. This is definitely top of the list for a place to come back to. There were so many things on the menu that we want to try. It will be interesting to see how the menu changes for spring.
Kyler, our server, seemed truly enthusiastic about the food and excelled at describing the dishes. We absolutely enjoyed our date night at this lovely restaurant. Thank you.
There is great food on their menu that begins with many gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. If you want protein options included with your meal, they have several meat and fish options, but they also have tofu if you want to maintain a vegetarian or vegan diet. Everything was good. I found the cookies and ice cream to be quite memorable as the cookies were vegan and gluten free, yet quite tasty. Service was alright, a bit slow, yet everything came out together and freshly prepared.
Great restaurant!!! Beautiful ambience, clean and modern, welcoming atmosphere. The presentation of food was very nice and beautiful. They make great food, which is healthy ( organic and sourced locally) and delicious and fresh as well. The food is so delicious and unlike most food from restaurants, it doesn’t feel as processed, and you won’t feel like you had a heavy meal. Portion sizes are very reasonable. The service is awesome and extremely friendly staff. A unique restaurant in an entire city of Las Vegas, you can not find another menu like this anywhere. Definitely a MUST place to visit!!!! I will definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family and I can’t wait to come back, because you can never get tired of the healthy and tasty food!!! They have two locations in town ( in downtown Summerlin and on the Strip- Forum Shops) and they will be opening one more .
I rarely go out of my way to eat at places that market as "healthy". True Food Kitchen surprised me with the seasonal menu of very well selected items. I was not as daring but tried the burger and salad. Both were prepared very (very) well. You could see that the menu was well thought out and executed in perfection. I really enjoyed this place and so did many folks who filled up this restaurant for lunch on a weekday.
We ordered a bunch of food and everything was delicious. Food came fast. Mike was our waiter and he was awesome.
Dr. Andrew Weil brings together integrative medicine with innovative dining in this hip and sleekly branded dining establishment. The space is clean and very modern in its layout. And the food is dynamic and very creative with is contemporary fusion presentation. The drinks and all of the dining options we tried were wonderful. Extremely colorful. And we could see the head chef and team in the kitchen were well orchestrated. Our server was probably the best I've honestly ever experienced in years. *JULIA* was very attentive, bubbly, confident, FUN, hunerous, super supportive but most of all humble. Sometimes you get servers who are working it for their tip...you can feel it. But this young lady was sincerely wanting for us to have the best experience possible. Thanks also to the manager who swung by to all the tables to check on everyone's experience.
Order at register, food is delivered to your table. Spent about $50 for chicken & waffles, chicken pesto sandwich, hot chocolate, and latte, plus tip. We enjoyed the food and ambiance.
Fresh food made to order not microwaved. They also have an excellent latte for some reason. Beautiful and bright. Vegan 🌱 and vegetarian friends love it as well. Avo Toast is my brunch go to but their menu changes seasonally.
Might be the best chain restaurant I've ever been to. True Food was so good we ended up eating there twice while we were in the city. The service was so amazing-- the servers were super nice and it was cool to see the chefs preparing food through the open kitchen design. The assistant general manager Pablo was the star of the show, though. He was dressed very professionally and it was like a breath of fresh air to see him patrolling the tables with a smile on his face. It's evident he is passionate about giving a great customer experience, as he checked in with us even though he wasn't our server. I even saw him taking a group photo for a family at their table. Food: The spaghetti squash casserole was well-balanced, with the sweetness of the squash not affecting the overall saltiness of the dish. The teriyaki bowl, plant-based cheeseburger, harvest salad, and fried rice were also very flavorful.
Stopped by for a healthy bite and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the food was fresh and tasted great. Paul, the AGM, checked up on me and made sure we were good, which really stood out. I would definitely recommend stopping by and will be back.
Its such a clean friendly place. The food is always fresh. I order the jambalaya it was protein packed. My husband ordered the American burger. It was delicious. The food is affordable and we will go back
We had an amazing experience at True Food Kitchen! Our server Aly was absolutely excellent — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We tried the vegan pizza and my wife had the lasagna, and both were delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also loved that the restaurant is dog-friendly, which made the whole outing even better. Highly recommend this spot for great plant-based options, excellent service, and a relaxed, pet-friendly atmosphere!
The service and the food was delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. The air fried french fries were amazing as was the butternut squash soup. Good options for both vegans/vegetarians and for us carnivores. Excellent!
My husband and I had an amazing valentines dinner at True Food Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious!! Our server, James, made the experience even better. He was personable, professional, and incredibly attentive. He checked in at just the right times, kept everything running smoothly, and had such a positive attitude. It’s rare to find service that truly stands out, but he nailed it.
Fresh, flavorful, and feel-good dining! True Food Kitchen delivered on every front--beautiful space, clean ingredients, and delicious dishes that make healthy eating exciting. We shared the Ancient Grains Bowl, Seasonal Salad, falafel, and a vibrant heirloom tomato starter--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The drinks were light and refreshing, and the service was kind and attentive, even with a large group. Perfect spot for a wholesome yet satisfying meal. Can't wait to come back!
Great for those who are more health conscious. The service is excellent and the staff is very willing to help and give great recommendations. The vibe is rather casual.
Food was pretty good. Menu seems pretty clean. Server was very friendly and attentive.
Thank you, Aspen, for your personable customer service. It was pleasant speaking with you. You've done a great job turning the Summerlin location, which used to be a dark atmosphere, around. Today's visit was better than the past visits. We wished, however, that our Waitress, Jaleesa, was more pleasant (half star taken). The Ancient Grain bowl was refreshing, and the Thai Peanut Noodle bowl was awesome. Meat not needed in either dish. Both were hearty.
On the way back from canyon to Vegas strip, we wanted to grab something for lunch and found this place. I loved decor of the restaurant and the surrounding! Very organic. Shrimp salad was light and refreshing . Pizza was ok, nothing special. It was a light meal and we were satisfied.
At first, I was a bit turned off when we walked in, and the first thing they asked was if we had a reservation when the restaurant was pretty empty. It's not a reservation vibe kinda place. Waitress was lovely, and we did enjoy our food and espresso martinis. Great ambiance.
Decided to try it despite a friend's poor customer service experience. Our service was good, but 1 bartender on for weekend lunch was subpar because each waiter was apologizing for the wait. Loved my lasagna, son loved his meatball sandwich and mocktail. Seriously disappointed with the 5 asparagus spears for $7 & the Mac n Cheese to go. Not very cheesy and lacking flavor.
Overall, a positive experience. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a True Food and we need more healthy options in Vegas. The menu is very appetizing, there are several dishes I look forward to trying. The prices are definitely on the high side, so not the most accessible restaurant for everyone. The space is beautiful and they have a great outdoor patio. The service was fine, not wonderful but certainly far from bad. All of the food was very good. For organic produce, lots of vegan options, and inventive combinations, I give it an A. Again, the price is a bit prohibitive. The only other draw back is that it’s not very filling, which might be the point. I think it’s a better light lunch spot than dinner, unless you are prepared to spend more so each person gets several dishes. But hey, I’m cheap.
Loved the flat bread and the pesto sauce!.. wish they had more vegetarian options in their mains. Desert was not so good. A bit pricey since the portions are small. Very very friendly and knowledgeable staff, enjoyed our dinner date here! A must visit! P.S: Wish they can extend their open hours, a lovely place and great location too!
I’ve always loved coming here but today I came to have brunch and the bar was filthy dirty. I can understand if they are busy but they’re not (around 3:30pm) no one cleaned the bar counter and they left the dirty utensils there, expecting me to use them. You can’t offer clean food to the soul in a dirty establishment. Do better!
A hipster type of place and a decent amount of food selection. There are no coke or Pepsi products which is a bit odd. Water with no ice. The sourdough pizza was tasty, but not earth shattering. My wife had the Korean noodles and brussel sprouts. Since we are from Hawaii, it did not compare to places in Hawaii.
***This review is solely based on my experience through a limited menu I've been to this restaurant when I use to deliver on Uber Eats. I noticed how big the space was and loud but vibrant the environment was at the same time. We were asked to come here for a work meeting. I'll first start off by saying the service is awesome. Our group was a bit spaced apart we sat at these high tables that seated 4 people. First thing came to mind was "why don't they have something for women's purses 🤔" Well someone had their hands under the table and discovered "hidden" hooks. Anyhow, we received limited menus for $25 per person. The table gets to choose 2 starters we got the the Loaded Fingerling Potatoes: hatch chili ranch, chili garlic crunch, cotija, Chef Matt’s Magical Dust (Vegan/Gluten Free). Those were really delicious I would order those for myself (9 out of 10). The second item was the SOURDOUGH STREET CORN FLATBREAD: roasted corn, yogurt crema, cotija, cilantro, aleppo pepper (Vegan). I didn't get a pic but these were good its it's just the flatbread was exactly that flat like Communion crackers. I would say a 7.5 out of 10 from what I remember. For my entree I ended up choosing the Citrus Salmon Salad*;range glazed sustainable salmon, toasted walnuts and almonds, feta, grapefruit, citrus vinaigrette, organic mixed greens (Gluten Free). The salmon had a little flavor, I wasn't a fan of the vinaigrette dressing and the greens tasted like they were fresh out of the ground IMO. I gave it a 6.5 out of 10. Lately we were able to get dessert, it was between COLOSSAL COOKIE AND ICE CREAM: sourdough batter, TCHO 68% chocolate, Cosmic Bliss organic grass-fed ice cream or the THE PINK LIME TART: key lime & ube filling, marcona almond & coconut crumble (Vegan/Gluten). I wanted the cookie but I thought it would be messy and we were not informed about the ice cream that came with it. The tart was decent, tart level about 6-7, taste was a 7 out of 10. I didn't really care for the crust area but the dessert itself not bad. This is one of those places you may come back to try something else but it's not anytime soon.
Genuinely enjoy the atmosphere, friendly staff, and prime location. However, I always get caught off guard by the food - things like dry salmon, discolored avocado, crumbly taco shells, etc.. The ingredients are wonderful on paper, and the presentation is visually appealing, there consistently seems to be a flaw in the execution. It could be bad luck but I feel obligated to share my honest experiences.
I've been to multiple locations of this chain and usually order the same thing every time because I have Celiac and it's a comfort thing knowing I've eaten it before. The food is always fresh and delicious. Our wait staff was excellent, but service was extremely slow and I was shocked that the normal portion size of the Korean noodle bowl I get was HALF the size for the same price. We were in a hurry so I said nothing, but as I'm sitting here hungry again 3 hours later... It's a bit disappointing. Getting safe gluten free food is a challenge while traveling, which is why I always trust True Food. I wish I had taken a photo. It was less than half of the small bowl...
I’m going to give them 3 stars simply for their service (service was 5/5). Our waitresses service was excellent. She was very attentive and very sweet and the manager was also very customer service oriented but unfortunately that’s where it stops. The food just isn’t what our preference is. I get that it’s healthy food but I make a number of healthy dishes at home and none of them lack flavor.. healthy does not mean it has be bland if you know how to cook/season. Unfortunately, we ordered the same thing and it was very very bland and the chicken in my dish was chewy to the point I stopped eating the chicken pieces. For our group the amount came out to $100 which for what we got I feel was definitely overpriced. If your use to healthy foods without seasoning then this might be your place but if you’re looking for some real flavor.. ehh… I don’t think I would recommend this being your first choice. Again, customer service was very good but the food is something to be desired and we were kind of disappointed.
Ate here while I was in town and honestly, I was excited to eat here because I love eating good clean quality food. Passed up a few spots on the way here. Ordered grilled shrimp with black rice and the shrimp was completely dry and over seasoned. I literally started sweating because there was so much seasoning on it! There should be a warning. Asked the server about it and she said she would get me a new skewer. She got back and it was completely dry with zero seasoning. Obviously wild caught so it’s going to taste fishy, but it was just overkill. Very dry and hard shrimp with a TON of seasoning. Was disappointed in our experience. My sister ordered chicken tenders and they were very dry also. Spent over $70 on lunch :/ I think the only good thing was the spritzer. Servers were nice even the manager stepped in to help. Not worth the hype. Sorry.
Quality of food was poor for the price. Steak was super tough. Well done hamburger was rare. Air fries looked like bottom off the bag with bits and pieces and dried skins. My brother in laws order came late but his fries looked much better. The kids pizza looked the best of anything ordered. Every order came at different times. Manager Debra was apologetic and tried to make it right.
I went here like 3 times so far because the first and second time I had a good experience but the 3rd time was disappointing. I had Mediterranean Wrap I think it's lunch option, they call it True Trio which you can pick 3 item including main, sides and drinks for $19.95 but some item has additional fee like the adamame dumplings which I don't mind it but the server who recommended it didn't mention about the add fee. He's also rushing, like we still telling him what else we need and he's already walking away. I am also very disappointed at chicken Tenders Menu for kids because I think it's over priced for 2 burned Chiken Tenders and small size fries for $10 btw. The fries they served to my daughter is old. Thinking twice on coming back on this place.
I wanted to love this, my go to right now is Flower Child. I ordered the forbidden rice and veg with the $5.5 tofu upcharge. There were 5 small cubes of tofu in this dish and the forbidden rice was not cooked in some places. It was hard and dry in some places. The staff was very nice and helpful, but what I received was about 33% onion $ crunchy rice.
One of the Worst Meals We’ve Had in Vegas – Saved Only by the Server This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have had in Las Vegas—and we’ve been coming here for years. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was off. The hostess greeted us with zero enthusiasm, no personality, and not even the courtesy of a smile. First impressions matter, and this one set the tone for what was to come. I ordered the burger, which was good, but the fries were completely undercooked—practically raw. My wife had the chicken tenders, which were barely breaded and tasted like subpar fast food… if not worse. For $60, we expected something at least decent, especially since we’ve had good meals here in the past. Sadly, this was a huge letdown. The only redeeming part of our experience was our server, Shane. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely tried to make our visit enjoyable. He even brought us a complimentary dessert for my wife’s birthday, which was thoughtful—even though the dessert itself was just as bad as the rest of the food. When we let him know the fries were undercooked, he promptly brought out a second batch—which, was much better. But still…..I actually felt bad for him. He deserves to work at a much better establishment. We’ve dined at this restaurant half a dozen times over the years, but after this experience, we won’t be back. It’s a shame, because Shane gave us five-star service at a one-star restaurant.
The food was great, Seated immediately, however the service was more than lackluster given the pricing of the food. The server was generally unfriendly, not inviting, and what I found strange is that the table next to me received that warm hospitality. I presumed because i was a table for one, i wasnt a priority to the server. -no greetings -No “how was your food” -short questions I would go again, but not anytime soon
⭐ 1/5 — Deeply Disappointed as a Visiting Chef from Canada As a tourist chef from Canada, I came to experience this restaurant with excitement and curiosity. Unfortunately, it turned into a major disappointment from start to finish. Hostess: greeted us with visible irritation — not the warm welcome you’d expect in hospitality. Table: greasy and oily. The waitress did clean it, but it should never have been in that condition to begin with. Food: overwhelmingly sweet — completely unbalanced flavors for what should have been a savory dish. Utensils: none provided until we asked for them, after the food had already arrived. Waiter: kind but distracted — missed multiple details from our order (no Cholula hot sauce as requested, and failed to replace vegan cheese with Gouda). Payment: the waiter took the check, disappeared, and never returned. I had to personally ask for the manager to address everything. The manager listened and gave us a $5 credit, which honestly felt insulting considering the level of service and food quality. Soft skills matter — but professionalism and attention to detail matter more. P.S. Whatever sauce you’re putting on your veggie sandwich — please don’t call it Jalapeño remoulade. It’s a watery, flavorless blob, not even close. 👉 Verdict: RIP to the food culture in this place. I would not recommend this restaurant — especially to anyone who cares about real flavor, presentation, or service standards.
I recently visited True Food Kitchen for the second time, despite a disappointing first experience, hoping for an improvement. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed. The portion sizes were shockingly small, especially for the price—around $28 per dish. The quality of the food was equally disappointing. One of the dishes I tried included guacamole, which tasted like it came straight out of a supermarket tub rather than being freshly made. It lacked the vibrant flavors and freshness one would expect from a reputable restaurant. Overall, the food quality at True Food Kitchen is truly subpar. Given my experiences, I can't recommend this restaurant. The food is overpriced for what you get, and the quality leaves much to be desired. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a satisfying dining experience. I got the wild caught tuna poke bowl.
Sadly, my experience at the true food kitchen left a lot to be desired. For my birthday weekend I had friends come from out of town to help me celebrate unfortunately, my friend highly recommended the true food kitchen as she had went to the TFK in Phoenix, Arizona, and raved about the food. Sadly, my experience downtown Summerland, NV wasn’t the same as her experience In Arizona, it was a bad experience for me today, I ordered The chicken tenders and french fries however I didn’t know the french fries were a side order and not part of the chicken tender order as the waiter asked if I wanted fries or a salad with it which led me Believe that it was an option not an additional charge for a side order at any rate the french fries were absolutely horrible. They look like they’ve been sitting for two days and then put under a heat lamp In actuality, the whole plate looked like it was leftovers reheated, and tasted the same when Mike the server came to give us our check I explained that the fries look like they were reheated after sitting out a while. He confirmed that I wasn’t the first person who said that today and stated that I don’t have to pay for them. He would take them off the bill, But when he brought the bill, it was the price of the meal that I read on the menu. I asked him about it, and he informed me that the french fries were a side order, not part of the actual meal. I went ahead and paid for the meal, but I really wasn’t happy about it because I don’t like paying for nothing Because basically, I only ate one piece of the chicken and it was dry and looked like it was heated over food too, and to add insult to injury, made me sick so the doggy bag that my friends insisted I take home went directly in the trash. I wish I had taken a photo hindsight is always 2020 though. I paid $21.37 for basically two bites of a chicken tender and a severe stomachache possibly food poisoning. Can’t say for sure because I wasn’t diagnosed but at any rate, I’m still in bed with a heating pad on my stomach And it’s 10:27 PM I had lunch roughly around 1:30 PM. Came straight home in pain not a pleasant experience. I couldn’t just not write a critique of my experience hopefully you’ll stop serving food like that especially since you’re calling yourself somewhat of a health food restaurant, but my experience wasn’t healthy for me.
As soon as we walked in the young lady who seated us clearly wasn’t a big fan of hospitality. Made us wait to be seated even though all she did was seat 1 person before us, no line no expected wait times, just our family of 4. Finally walked us to our table, then our waiter who had a little bit more sense of manners took our order and then didn’t show his face for 40 minutes, while at least 3-4 other parties were seated and received their food. Our food? Sitting on the counter waiting. By the time our waiter decided to show up with our simple order (2 chicken parms and a burger), it was stone cold. Visibly everything had looked like it had been sitting out for a good while. I’ve had fresher food served to me by a McDonald’s with no customers. I’m not one to play the race card but this restaurant looks like a white person’s happy place, and how they treated us sure as hell proved me right.
