Great sushi in Vegas! Tried to walk in with no reservations and thankfully was seated within 30 minutes. We just walked around and checked the casino floor out. The fish was fresh. The tuna pizza appetizer was amazing! Ordered 2 rolls: otoro scallion and yellowtail scallion. The fish tasted amazing in both, although bf and I thought the rice was a bit soft. The filet was amazing. It was recommended by the server. Many tables near us had also ordered it and it smelled amazing we waited for ours. The only thing we were not impressed with was the combo carpaccio with salmon, octopus and a white fish. The fish was meh and the flavor was mid compared to the other dishes.

We love every experience we had last night. Our server is very attentive, he never rush us, our drinks are always full. Our view, facing the dancing fountain of Bellagio. Food is well presented and good flavor. Just be ready to pay $125 per person minimum. But everything is worth it! We had a great time

So delicious! And expensive. Just what you would expect from an upscale Las Vegas meal. The clear soup is usually $5-6 elsewhere but here it was $11. Lychee martinis was $26/each. The short rib was delicious although slightly dry for $52. I really enjoyed my king salmon sashimi which I thought was fairly priced at $17 for 3 pieces. Your average Maki roll is in the mid $30s. The vibe was fun, very good service. With tip dinner was just over $300.

This is my favorite location because of Matt. This dude is The Mike Tyson, the KOBE BRYANT, The Tiger Woods of Sushi. My bartenders Tadashi and Alicia are Bad Ass Bartenders. I love Matt. This Manager deserves a raise or I am stealing him for my restaurants!

Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. But also the most expensive sushi I've ever had. But you definitely get what you pay for! Staff was warm and friendly and we really loved the environment! Will definitely visit again the next time we visit Las Vegas!

Had a great experience here on the patio overlooking the lake. Not only was the food excellent, but our server Michel was wonderful. He has such an elegant way about him. He is attentive yet unobtrusive...... we will definitely ask for him next time.....

Yellowtail at the Bellagio isn’t just a meal, it’s a full-blown edible affair that’ll leave you emotionally attached to raw fish. The Toro Sashimi was hands down my favorite. It was melt-in-your-mouth buttery and perfectly sliced. It should’ve come with its own disclaimer: may cause sudden bouts of inappropriate noises at the dinner table. The Akira Back Tuna Pizza lived up to the hype. It was crispy, truffle-y, and had enough sass to convince me that pizza and sushi were a power couple all along. I wasn’t ready. The Broiled Atlantic Black Cod was rich, and bathed in a miso glaze with a hint of yuzu sake foam that added a touch of brightness. Rock Shrimp with spicy chili aïoli: perfectly spicy, crispy, and highly addictive. Angry Yellowtail with citrus and micro cilantro: bright, flavorful, and I don’t even like cilantro. Filet Mignon Toban: tender flavor bombs in a garlicky mushroom jacuzzi. Mile High Roll: stacked and packed with tempura and sashimi. Baked Crab Handroll: wrapped in soy paper and packed with flavor. We wrapped it all up with Apple Harumaki and an assortment of sorbet, a fresh and sweet end to an unforgettable meal. But honestly? I barely made it. I made the tragic mistake of wearing a dress with zero stretch, so by dessert I was rethinking every life decision—except coming to Yellowtail. That was the only one I got right. If you’re looking for a standout dining experience on the Strip, Yellowtail at the Bellagio delivers with bold flavor, top-tier service, and that unbeatable fountain-side view. 10 out of 10 would do it all again, next time with a better dress fabric strategy.

Good food and service, but by far the best part was the view of the Bellagio fountains from our table.

We enjoyed the Yellow Tail Roll and Added avocado on top which doesn’t come with it. The sushi pizza is good and has truffle oil on it. Overall the food was amazing and service was great. The food comes out quick. Veggie Fried rice was not on menu but when asked they made it for us. You have the option to sit outside and have a closeup view of the Bellagio fountain show. Perfect for impressing a date.

Booked a reservation on their patio area for my husband's birthday. I think there is a limit on how much you have to spend per person when booking the patio seating. The food are very good, especially their nigiri. We also love the drinks, but the best was the view of the bellagio fountain table side.

Great Anniversary dinner at the Yellowtail, The Tuna tataki was so fresh and yummy! Our waitress helped us pick an upscale cold Sake and it was dry and smooth, She was great, Very attentive. We also got the Protien Roll which was cool because it had no rice, I liked the flavor but did not love the texture. My husband enjoyed it a lot! We also got the yellowtail and scallion roll, very tasty, small sushi bites but they hit the spot. And we finished with yellowtail Shasmi, which had 3 large pieces of fresh yellowtail. Great romantic dinner overlooking the fountains. Highly Recommend. One note, the restaurant is very loud, we got lucky and had a table tucked away in the corner.

Celebratory birthday dinner for my brother at Yellowtail, and it did not disappoint!! Service on the patio is top notch and attentive, our waiter was personable and didn’t hover. The Bellagio fountain show & music added to the experience of great conversation and excellent food! A memorable night, thank you. You will see us again.

Great location overlooking the Bellagio fountains! Service and food were both spectacular. Standouts were the yellowtail jalapeño, filet and happa specialty roll, but everything on the menu looked great. Will have to come back next time we are in town to try more!

I had my birthday dinner here and it was sooooo amazing!! They sat us at a great table with a view of the fountains and the food was AMAZING, I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Vegas! the tuna tataki and seared albacore were our definite favorites. Amazing quality fish, very good!

The Happa roll is to die for. It was so good and we ending up ordering additional Happa rolls. The service was great. The decor looks amazing, and the food was 8.3/10. Amazing amazing amazing. The miso soup was great as well.

This is our favorite restaurant at Bellagio. We have gone here twice and on both occasions for dinner and both occasions it was an amazing night of great food, atmosphere and service. We had the omakase and whilst I don't remember the names of most of the dishes, I've attached pictures of what we had and there was not one bad dish on there. So whilst the omakase is the pricy, it is absolutely worth the cost for the dishes you get.

Hubby and I have been here twice on each of our most recent Vegas trips. It’s hands down one of our favorite restaurants on the strip! The atmosphere is incredible, the drinks are all perfect, and the food is just to die for! The wait staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful as well. We love that the menu is set up sort of like a tapas place with all dishes as “shareable” so you get a taste of many things that are ordered, though the portion sizes are larger than tapas. A side bonus - you get to see the water show out the windows (especially at night!)

We did splurge on the fountain dining which is a minimum of $125 spend which is easy to do here but it was well worth it. Away from the restaurant noise and all the upfront views of the fountain. Love love love. The food was AMAZING, staff was AMAZING ! I just can’t say it enough.

This is the second time we’ve dined at this restaurant. It was just as excellent as the first time. We did go on a Saturday night at 7:30. They were super busy so there was quite a long wait for the food. The drinks came out quickly though. The quality of the seafood was super fresh. Polite and accommodating staff. Drinks were up to par. I highly recommend if you want sushi and you are at the Bellagio or near the area.

We came hear years ago and food then was AMAZING!!! It was truly an unforgettable meal then. We were hoping to have the same experience now and I’ll tell you we were NOT disappointed. We came all the way from Northern Colorado to eat at Yellowtail. Hands down one of the best places we’ve ever eaten at. We ordered almost 2 of everything. This place isn’t cheap but the food is outstanding. We knew this going in but we don’t care when the food is amazing and the service is outstanding. For 2 of us, our bill was around $230 not including the tip. Thank you for another unforgettable meal. Yes, the Big Eye Tuna Pizza is amazing, oysters SUPER FRESH and don’t forget to ask for the Mile High roll. Our waitress suggested it after I told her I wanted a simple Shrimp Tempura roll. Boy was I thankful she suggested it. Probably one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever eaten.

My wife and I have been here twice. Each time has been absolutely fantastic! Most recently we have Roberto as our server. He was the most attentive and personal server we've ever had. He made it the best dinning experience possible. I truly appreciate the care he and the rest of the staff took to ensure we had a great experience. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food was just as amazing as the service. Thank you Roberto!

Wow! I don’t even know where to start! Absolutely amazing! The tuna pizza was excellent with the perfect amount of truffle! But I have to say that the Popping Spicy Crab roll was hands down the best! Literally pop rocks in the sushi that pops and crackles in your mouth! The perfect amount too! It was a great experience. The restaurant was packed solid! ++++ Worth every penny

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had an issue with reserving patio seating online and they took my reservation over the phone. We appreciated their help greatly. The Fountain show was amazing while dining. Thank you all!

My new favorite restaurant at the bellagio! Our server, Cuba, was absolutely amazing. He recommended so many excellent dishes for us to try, including tips on how to properly savor the dishes. From Wagyu to sushi rolls, the effort the chefs put into execution is the reason I can’t wait to come back!!

J

Very good food and the patio seating watching the fountains was fantastic. We ate there Sat. night and they were running behind and we were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation. Ladies at the front desk were so nice and comped our drinks for the wait. We will be back!!

Best sushi! Best dining experience in I don’t know how long!! Enjoyed absolutely everything! The tuna pizza, the spicy tuna roll, the crab roll the black angus rib eye surf n turf and the wagyu was absolutely incredible. I’m still thinking about it 2 days later. I will be back every time I’m in Vegas!

Pros: -The Tuna Pizza was amazing -Amazing views and seats (I recommend a reservation) -Service was great, attentive, and nice Cons: -Obviously its not a budget option (But that is expected) -The house music mixed with the talking makes the environment very off I recommend the Tuna Pizza App. It was amazing and had a great consistency to it. The sushi (Salmon Roll and Eel Roll) was did not amaze me, which for the price, it should be somewhat memorable. I wished we have chose one of the other main cold or hot dishes Service was great, gave food recommendations, fast water refills, and attentive Great Views and service, would recommend to people who love Japanese food, with a view.

This sushi restaurant delivers a consistently enjoyable dining experience, striking a balance between quality and approachability. The fish was notably fresh, with well-prepared cuts that showcased attention to sourcing and technique. Service was generally pleasant—while the lead server could have been a touch quicker and warmer in demeanor, the staff as a whole maintained a courteous and attentive presence. Dishes arrived promptly, reflecting good kitchen coordination, and the pacing of the meal felt natural. The ambiance adds to the experience: stylish yet relaxed, with a calm energy that complements the cuisine. While the overall seating arrangement was fine, the hosts could have chosen a better table for my significant other and me, as a more thoughtfully placed spot would have enhanced the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this is a strong choice for diners seeking fresh, high-quality sushi without the pretense or excessive flourish found in more ostentatious establishments. A commendable spot that prioritizes substance over spectacle.

We chose to dine at Yellowtail for a family outing, as my relatives had previously visited and raved about their experiences. A tip for anyone planning to go: make a reservation in advance! Even with a reservation, we found ourselves waiting over 20 minutes past our scheduled time. Once seated, we ended up in the far-left corner near the bar, which came with its own set of challenges due to a large obstruction in our view. However, the silver lining was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening. Now, onto the food: while some dishes were delightful, others fell a bit flat. The gyoza, cucumber salad, and sushi were somewhat average; there was nothing particularly memorable about their taste or portions, which I believe could use some improvement. On the other hand, the tempura lobster, halibut, and kalbi roll were standout dishes that truly wowed us with their unique flavors and perfect execution. Overall, Yellowtail has a lot to offer, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain areas. I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future!

Best Japanese food ever! The sushi was delicious and the short ribs melted in my mouth. The 14oz ribeye was unbelievably delicious as well. The atmosphere was super chill and the view of the Bellagio fountain show was very pleasant. The service wasn't as great. The waitress never checked on us after we received our food to ask if it was good or to see if we needed anything else. She never asked or refilled our drinks. She was quick to bring us the check...

Half restaurant, half sports bar. We were seated at the bar area on comfortable high chairs and table. The gyoza, sushi, and sashimi were great. The rest of our orders not so much. Everything tasted like fried onions and oil. Service is a little slow, but it's alright if you wanna take it slow.

p

Very busy Japanese restaurant that serves more than just Sushi and Sashimi. I went for the Omakase menu which basically consists out of the chef choices - all the goods including A5 wagyu steak and some of the finest sea food well presented on 7 plates. I was only able to get a seat at the bar which is a little more noisy however the bar tender was super friendly. The other staff I found a little inattentive as they just quickly served the food without really explaining the courses - at an menu price point of $200 I would expect that and it would pay respect to the chef’s craft.

T
Teressa Marion

The service from our server Shiraz and team was wonderful. The sushi was sub par at best, not impressive. The scallops in the miso were very good. The Wagyu steak and roasted brussel sprouts was very good. The ambiance and view of the Bellagio fountain show were lovely. Overall, it was good except for the sushi and I don’t think it was worth the $450 for the meal.

We ate here Tuesday night, had reservations for 6pm. It was still early so we sat on the “patio” overlooking the casino and got to people watch. This place has changed a lot since we were here 3 years ago. Sunset martini is no longer served in a martini glass but now in a lowball glass, filled with ice. Menu is very small and ridiculously expensive. There are much better and more cost effective places to eat sushi at. The gyoza was seriously burned on the bottom and gummy on the top. We had the blue crab roll, which was one of our favorites. It used to have crab legs sticking out if it, etc. you couldn’t even tell it was a soft shell blue crab roll. The rock shrimp roll was very good. It’s no longer a dining experience with the “value” we are looking for. Will not come back and do not recommend.

M

I tried the tasting menu and was disappointed. Out of six dishes, only the beef and tuna pizza was exceptional—the rest didn’t meet my expectations. The service was very slow as well. The best part was sitting on the patio, where I could enjoy the fountain show multiple times.

We are dined at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the sushi and rolls left me deeply disappointed. As a Japanese restaurant, I was surprised by the poorly crafted Rolls and sushi—the pieces were loosely formed and clearly lacked care in preparation. The seaweed (nori) was not crispy at all, which further diminished the experience. What’s even more shocking is the price: paying over $20 for just six low-quality small rolls feels absurd. For a restaurant at this price point, the lack of attention to basic sushi craftsmanship was surprising. Additionally, the service did not help improve the experience. Our server seemed quite unhappy, wearing a constant frown and speaking in an unpleasant tone. While they did assist us in taking a group photo, the overall lack of warmth and professionalism was noticeable. If you still plan to visit, I’d recommend avoiding the sushi and rolls altogether and trying their WARM SHARED PLATES instead. We ordered the Filet Mignon Toban, Crispy Tofu, and Broiled Atlantic Black Cod, all tasty. Hopefully, the kitchen puts more effort into their sushi.

Below average rolls, other dishes were ok. Pricing is too expensive for the food quality, even for Vegas. Would not recommend

B
Blair Sun

Easily the worst fine dining experience I’ve had. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes, while someone without one seemingly skipped the line after tipping the staff. On New Year’s Eve, the view was average, but enjoying the fireworks meant disturbing outdoor diners. The food was underwhelming—tiny portions disguised as omakase, which felt undeserving of a Michelin star. At $720 for two, even for a casino, it was disappointing.

C
Chris Tucker

Service was fantastic. Waitress was knowledgeable, quick, and attentive. Atmosphere is upscale but relaxed. The food is way overpriced for what you get. I paid $75 for what you see pictured. Sushi is my absolute favorite and I eat it several times a week. I was on the strip for 3 days and tried 4 different places. This place is subpar by far. I would go with bottom 5 places I have ever eaten on a value scale. The rolls are miniature and they certainly aren’t anything to write home about. They are comparable to super market rolls, only supermarket provides more value. I expected more from the Bellagio, but it’s obvious, this one is all about profit over dining experience.

B
Brittany Anker

The view was amazing! Service was horrible! We watched 2 of the water shows before our waitress even asked about drinks. She was super rude, very unwelcoming and dismissive! We wanted to order more food and have a great experience, she ruined it. We left after the appetizers! I get being busy but being rude is no bueno! We had reservations and were very excited about this experience, unfortunately it was ruined by a waitress who was clearly miserable and extremely rude!

b
bhavesh jha

The host was fine, the servers were fine, the food tasted good, portions were good, and prices were fair. However, if you are coming with young kids, I would not recommend this place. I came with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. While they were eating, some soup and water spilled under the table, which is normal with small kids. We left over a 22% tip, but the busboy/cleaner (he goes by M) came to clean and stared at me and my family in an uncomfortable way, as if we had done something wrong. It felt disrespectful and unnecessary. Management should be aware of this, as this kind of behavior brings down an otherwise good experience.

B
Bad Religion

Go to Sushi Roku instead. The atmosphere and food were beyond reproach but the service was severely lacking. Our appetizers came quickly and were good, but afterward my food came, along with a roll we did not order for my wife. We sent it back, and 5 minutes later a mackerel dish came out, again not what my wife ordered. We eventually got a someone to the table who was able to be told what we ordered, and we eventually got it, 10 minutes after I was done eating. The manager, Matt, said it was because sometimes rolls take longer, neglecting to mention we kept getting the wrong food for my wife. He did not want to do anything besides give us dessert, which neither of us wanted, and eventually comped the roll. So I spent $260 on a meal that I had to eat separately from my wife and beg for someone to serve what she ordered. At least we had the nicest seat in the house to this clown show.

T
Tom H

Definitely do not take the omasake. It was a few tiny portions...the sushi was not even good or fresh tasting. $180 pp and had to go order another item after. Ridiculous. (Lets fill up on fried rice and non fresh low quality sushi for $180... great idea lol)

T
Tina Park

The service at Yellowtail was great, but the food was very disappointing. The sushi was dry and lacked freshness. I could probably get better quality at my neighborhood sushi spot. The only dishes we actually enjoyed from the omakase were the fried rice and steak, which is a letdown considering it’s a sushi restaurant. We came here to celebrate our anniversary and expected a much better experience, especially at $180 per person for the omakase. I called afterward to speak with the manager, who said he was busy, took down my information, and never called back. Overall, a disappointing visit that didn’t live up to the reputation or the price.

C
Claudia Marr

We loved our waitress! The food was good too. However the lady at the front “running the show” was very very nasty. We politely asked her how long it would be for a table, there were a bunch of tables available and she told us 10 mins. After 20 mins we went up and asked if there was an update. She got very sassy with us and told us this is what we should expect as a walk in, rolled her eyes and spoke badly about us to her colleague. Very very rude, sad to get this kind of treatment whilst staying as a guest.

C
Crystal N

Atmosphere is good because it's at Bellagio and Las Vegas, service is decent but that's the extent of it. The food is terrible. How can anyone think this is a decent sushi restaurant is beyond me. Nobu across the bridge at Ceasar's is much better, albeit not the best. Or Mizumi at the Wynn is short drive away. If you have a rental car or not lazy to leave the Strip, highly recommend checking out many better and great options for sushi and other Japanese restaurants in China town and Japan town of Las Vegas.
