This was my second trip to Las Vegas, and we chose this Japanese restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered black truffle Wagyu dumplings and black truffle Australian tomahawk Wagyu , The chef have been very particular, as we ordered wagyu that were rare, well-done, and medium-rare. My husband prefers medium-rare steak; he's quite picky, but both the well-done and rare steaks were incredibly tender—melt-in-your-mouth. Served with mashed potatoes and pickled radish, it was absolutely delicious. Every server was incredibly friendly and attentive. They even prepared a special anniversary dessert for us—exquisite and delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back!
Incredible atmosphere and the most amazing service. Had a group of four and order quite a few items. The sushi was very tasty but I believe it was not the star of the show. The Chilean sea bass and the wagyu gyoza were to die for. The cocktails were all very delicious, however, they were not pouring heavy whatsoever. The service was nearly perfect and all you could ask for with incredible recommendations and knowledge of the menu and a great team clearing the tables and bringing new dishes. The cheesecake was INSANE. They also brought us a free lychee shot!
Had omakaze here. It was pretty good. So much variety of the dishes. I felt a little rush tho as it was pretty busy during CES week. Gyoza was pretty good. Love the beef tartar. Rock shrimp to me was so so. The grilled steak was too burnt to eat i only has a piece and could not continue but they replaced with the new one. Dessert was phenomenal.
Had 2 tuna apps, fish and shrimp dumplings, the famous baked potato, spinach salad and 2 maki rolls. The appetizers were stellar. Rolls were better than average but didn’t blow me away. Service and decor were amazing.
An unforgettable dining experience. The uni was exceptionally fresh, creamy, and rich—beautifully presented and clearly top-tier quality. Every bite melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was warm and upscale, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the experience here. Absolutely worth it for a special night or if you’re a true sushi lover. Highly recommend.
This restaurant hands down has the best service that I’ve seen in a while. The food is Amazing, the wine and alcohol selection is amazing. The dessert selection was amazing. I cannot think of anything that could have been done better. Highly recommend!
We've been to so many, SO MANY sushi restaurants. It's my wife's favorite cuisine so wherever we go, we always try the local sushi restaurants. We tried Zuma at a friend's recommendation and oh, wow were we impressed. Each and every bite of the food is so packed full of flavor and the presentation is beyond impressive. Out of hundreds of sushi restaurants we've tried over the years, we can honestly say Zuma is easily the very top sushi restaurant.
Went here to celebrate my girlfriend birthday and it blew our expectations away. Sean the waiter was incredible and provided me some amazing recommendations. The nigiri was incredible and cocktails were some of the best I have had. The manager Nicolette was also very attentive. This is our new favorite spot.
Zuma never fails to disappoint. I’ve been a few of their locations and this last meal was the best yet. I’m always amazed by the level of food, service and thought put into the experience. Our server, Thomas was an absolute gem. He was attentive, knowledgeable and provided exceptional service. I can’t wait to be back!
We went there for our anniversary dinner and the people there were very very nice! The food was out of the world experience! We did the omakase signature I believe which was the highest one and we were very very full by the time we left.
Sat at the bar for drinks and everything we tried was delicious. The bartenders were very nice and attentive, even keeping an eye on people waiting for seats at the bar to ensure they weren’t snaked. Would happily return.
We went here for our first dinner on this Vegas trip. Every aspect of this place was phenomenal. Our server, Denna, was extraordinary. We did the seasonal omakase and were not disappointed. The burning history drink was a great experience. Everyone we interacted with was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not pictured but also included with the omakase were A5 strip and wagyu short rib wontons. Would highly recommend and will defiantly be back.
I’m happy my husband and I came to dine at ZUMA. We enjoyed the wonderful experience by dining here. The atmosphere and staff were awesome. We sat at the bar and Josselyn attended us. She recommended some of her favorites which were all delicious. We will definitely be coming back.
Fantastic experience here that I could not recommend more! Had some assorted sashimi as well as their spicy tuna roll. Both were fantastic. The spicy tuna had a slightly unique twist that I really enjoyed. All of the sashimi was soft and buttery. The service was great, our server was super attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice, definitely a darker vibe. The music in there is a bit loud, so slightly harder for conversation. Other than that, wonderful experience.
Zuma offers some creative sushi options in addition to standard fare. The Japanese uni was fresh, delicious and fairly priced. The roasted lobster is a bit pricey but it is flavorful although for some reason did not “wow” me. The branzino is a winner. I loved the crisp skin and the perfectly tender flesh. The burnt tomato and ginger relish is amazing albeit a small accompaniment. The shitake mushroom with garlic and soy butter offers a bold and flavorful profile. The torched salmon belly with tomato relish and fresh truffle explodes with flavor and has a delicate texture. Really, everything was delicious and creatively presented and prepared.
Fabulous experience! Got seated next to the grill. It was like watching artist at work. Seeing first hand how talented the chefs were with preparing each dish was an experience in itself, truly. Loved the inspiration of ingredients in each dish. Each one was unique and true to its name. Service was excellent. Thank you for the relaxing and enjoyable dinner with my hunny. We will be back.
Whoa! Seriously incredible meal..I did the premium omakase and it was so good! The chefs were great. The service was perfect. I will be going back
This is definitely the best Japanese restaurant we've been to (and we've been to a lot). It's a cool contemporary vibe in there, with top-notch service, and the food is just out of this world. We thought there was nothing else that could surprise us in Japanese cuisine before we had our dinner at Zuma. Great experience. Now, it's in the top three of our favorite restaurants in Vegas.
Nicolette is one of the best managers I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. She came to our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable that we ended up going 5 nights in a row! We had a different server every night and it was first class across the board. From the hostess, to the wait staff, and bartenders- seamless and warm. The food was by far the best meal of our lives and we got to try almost everything on the menu by our last night there. The quality of the food is bar none. The chefs there are magicians and they cultivate beautiful works of art for the eyes and taste buds. We can’t wait to go back to Vegas just to go to Zuma again!
My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this restaurant!!! Some of the best sushi we have ever had and amazing cocktails. We actually came back 2 weeks after our first time because we loved it so much. We had the pleasure of having Sean as our server coincidentally both times & he was super kind and gave us the best experience. Highly recommend the specialty roll!
Zuma doesn’t just serve food it curates moments. Tucked inside The Cosmopolitan, this modern Japanese spot knows exactly how to balance elegance with energy. The night began with the aroma of the robata grill teasing us from across the room. We started with the spicy beef tenderloin a perfect sear, a touch of heat, and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The tuna tartare with caviar? Silky, bright, and indulgent in the best way. But the real showstopper was the black cod. Marinated for days and kissed by fire, it was buttery, flaky, and unforgettable. Even the sushi simple, fresh, no gimmicks was a masterclass in restraint and precision. The vibe? Sexy and modern without trying too hard. Dim lighting, cool music, and service that makes you feel like a VIP, without a hint of arrogance. Zuma is a sensory celebration—every plate, every pour, every detail hits with intention. ⭐ Final Thought: If you’re in Vegas and want a dinner that’s more than just food—something memorable, stylish, and “simply delicious”—Zuma is that place. 10/10. Would fly back just for that black cod.
This is one of the best dining experiences I had in Vegas so far. They are super friendly to service dog and also the service is just amazing. Not to mention the delicious food. They also bring us desserts to celebrate my mother’s birthday! I would recommend the Omakase!
We went to Zuma for dinner as a group of four, and the atmosphere was incredible. The ambiance was stylish and modern, creating a great dining experience. We tried the Yamakosho Kullo drinks, and warm sake. All were fantastic and well-balanced. Definitely worth trying! 1. Softshell Crab – Absolutely amazing, crispy, and flavorful. A must-try! 2. Edamame – A simple but essential appetizer. Fresh and perfectly seasoned. 3. Wagyu Sushi Pieces – Melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The quality was top-tier. 4. Sushi were exceptional. Zuma delivered an exceptional dining experience with an amazing atmosphere, great drinks, and high-quality food. Every dish we tried was fantastic, making it a place we’d definitely return to. 5/5 stars!
Celebrated my sons 20th birthday here and Zuma didn’t disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of Boulevard tower at Cosmopolitan Hotel. We had the chefs tasting menu, every dish was amazing, well presented and filling, probably one course too many. Pictures attached of every course. Service was great and a lively atmosphere, the place was full through the night to closing time. It is pricey, but highly recommend going if you like sushi and a fancy night out.
Zuma is the best!! The same level in every location! Delicious food, outstanding drinks, fun, crowded, service is great! Why 4.5 only?!?!
We went to Zuma on a weekday in the evening without reservation. It was easy to get a place at the bar, where we could watch the cooks prepare parts of our meals. While the service was not always as professional as we were hoping for, the food itself was outstanding. From the first course over the main course, every bit was a culinary masterpiece. The price is massive though.
I've had the omakase, raw bar, steaks, skewers, everything, and love it all. Their grilled chilean sea bass is possibly my favorite dish in Vegas. Atmosphere is nice, service is usually good, food is the best. Be warned that if you miss your reservation window it's gone, so show up on time.
Zuma was on my list for must visit restaurants and the experience did not disappoint! The service was phenomenal and the vibe of the entire restaurant was everything you expect from a top Vegas restaurant. Food was 10/10. I look forward to the next visit here.
As I expected its pricy but Its worth it, maybe we ordered too much. I love the tomahawk Wagyu with truffles, but the gyoza wagyu was not something with wow! My husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here. We love it! Service was great, location is great also and the atmosphere was fine. It’s such a great experience!
We have now been to Zuma 3 times. So I have felt that I've given it ample tries to know how we feel about it. The most recent time we got mostly sushi as well as the wagyu steak. Not all rolls are created equal that's for sure. We highly recommend their special which is topped by tuna. It was not on menu but definitely their best roll. Their skirt steak order slightly less cooked that what you want. As all three times we went if we ordered medium it was medium well. Medium rare it was medium and rare it was medium rare. We ordered a total of 6 steaks over the course of 3 meals. All but one were off from the requested cook. Their fish is super fresh and does not taste or smell fishy at all. Their cocktails are fun but not for me. I prefer a super boring Japanese whiskey with a smidgen of water. Of which they have a decent selection. Lastly if you like black cod you need to try theirs as it is melt in your mouth delicious. Enjoy!
Zuma is a STUNNING restaurant. It’s clean, dimly lit, with a cool vibe. You can go for a nice dinner date or for drinks with friends to celebrate a birthday or really anything. The menu is Japanese and lovely. My mom and I only did a few appetizers as we had dinner plans with friends in a couple hours but I plan to go back for more. We ordered the yellowtail sashimi, the prawn and black cod gyoza, the fried calamari, the semi fatty tuna nigiri, the sake marinated chicken wings and an absolutely beautiful dessert: the exotic chewan mushi. Plus a mojito because it’s the only alcoholic drink I actually enjoy! The yellowtail sashimi was all for me as my mom doesn’t eat fish. It had a slight fishy taste which was shocking as the sauce and garlic - in my opinion- would’ve numbed that but it was still a nice combination of flavours. The prawn and black cod gyoza are normally something I don’t order but with the ponzu dipping sauce and perfect crisp cookery it was rather delightful! Also, rather impressed with how many we got. I was expecting three max and was happy to see they gave us a good portion. The fried calamari had the perfect amount of batter. So thin that it allowed for a slight crunch and wasn’t overly chewy! I do wish there was a dipping sauce but it was enjoyable to eat. Surprisingly light! The sake marinated chicken wings were for my mom - I had a bite but I’m not a chicken fan. They are my mom’s favourite though. I love the use of lime at this restaurant. Everything tastes so fresh! A small hint of lime really elevates a dish. The last two dishes were my favourites of my whole 3 nights of dining in Vegas. The semi fatty tuna nigiri was melt in your mouth goodness. I’m a nice daughter so I ordered the semi fat instead of fully fat. My mom doesn’t eat raw fish so since she was paying I went semi and I couldn’t stop giggling after my two bites! There’s something special about fatty tuna and next time I may just eat all tuna nigiri and the dessert. Simply perfection. We ordered this coconut, passion fruit, mango dessert and when it came out it was beautiful! The biscuit on the side is flakey and breaks apart easily. It was just… heavenly. I don’t know what else to say. I think my eye balls popped out of my head with that first bite. 12/10! I also had a mojito to drink which was quite a lot for me. I don’t drink so when I do I like a more… non alcoholic tasting drink haha. This drink was STRONG. I muddled the mint a lot and stirred down the ice so I was able to drink it but dang was it a lot at first sip! I am a bit of a weakling with drinking so honestly - do order it - I am sure you’d enjoy it! Overall, a lovely experience. I will definitely be going back. My only complaint is for such a lovely restaurant there’s only one bathroom per gender and with sliding doors allowing barely any privacy. But that’s literally my only complaint and seeing how it’s Vegas and there’s bathrooms every 100 feet it’s not a deal breaker on anything. Check this spot out :)
Zuma is number 1 around the world and the best in vegas! Our experience is always number 1. Our servers Justin, Louis and our Sommelier were amazing!!! Made our experience perfect.
When you visit Zuma, you know you're always going to eat exceptionally well. The Black Cod is an absolute must. The gyozas, salmon and tuna tartare, and prawns were great, but the sushi was on another level. We had salmon and tuna makis, as well as soft-shell crab, and they were simply amazing."
An absolute gem! From the warm ambience to the exquisite flavors, every aspect of dining at Zuma was top-notch. The dishes are expertly crafted, bursting with authentic traditional Japanese flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Service was impeccable, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Located upstairs in the Cosmo. Great modern take on Japanese food. Service was excellent as well as the cocktails/desserts. Will be back for the omakase next time!
Delicious and very fresh sushi. The truffle edamame was amazing. Everything we had was tasty and flavorful. Great presentation and wonderful service. The smoked whiskey drink made on the table was an interesting experience to watch. Would highly recommend visiting.
This place is perfect for your “fancy dinner” night out in Vegas. The food was really good - we ordered ~8-10 dishes and they were all truly great - modern and interesting updates on classics. Skirt steak was definitely worth it and the tataki and sushi were standouts.
Love the vibe to this place! Music is really good and maybe little loud for some people but it was nice to see the kitchen and everybody super respectful and nice. Food is truly amazing as long as you know exactly what to order! Fish & red meat and sushi were amazing. For sure will come again for more red meat.
Okay. First of all the picture in here does not do this place justice. It is a total vibe. Food was 10/10. Our server was amazing. I don’t like calamari and there’s was 10/10
An amazing place for birthday celebration. The dishes are great and the service is great. We ordered signature menu 138/per person and it was worth it. The dessert plate was fantastic! Love the place😊
Great Asian American restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan. Share dishes with up to 3 people. Sea bass and steak were excellent. Watch them tableside make your baked potato a spicy, asian inspired mashed potato. Atmosphere was good but crowded. Servers were very helpful.
We had the most amazing 1 year anniversary here. Our service was the best we’ve had in a very long time. John H. was on top of it all. He was very familiar with the menu and gave us great recommendations on what I can have with my many food allergies. He was very attentive and just an all in all excellent server. We will most likely be celebrating with you every year from now on because I just don’t see it getting any better than this. Zuma has by far the freshest and more delicious food you can enjoy! We loved it very much. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!!!
Lots of great and unique options. The ambiance of the restaurant is great and this is a wonderful date spot. However, I thought the food was average (if being compared to other restaurants with similar cuisine options). The only sushi option we really liked was the spicy tuna roll. Other than that, all other sushi we ordered was fairly flavorless, as well as the steak being flavorless. Staff was great and we loved lots about Zuma, but the price is very high for average food.
Recently visited Vegas and dined at SW Steak House, Zuma and Milos. Are we very good but Zuma was the best! Our server Jeremy did an excellent job describing each dish and helping us to navigate our order selections. The meal , the service and the atmosphere were all 10/10. This place may be the best meal in Vegas ! I will be going back .
People don't give this place a 5* rating for nothing. The food is out of this world. I am the pickiest eater in the world and I swear, EVERYTHING I ate was PERFECT! I wished the portions where bigger so I could get more of everything LOL we had the chicken wings/PERFECT. We had the Tuna tataki/PERFECT-so good that I had the nerve to drink the broth and it dehydrated me all night, but it was so worth it lol. Sweet corn/PERFECT. That butter sauce they put on there is so good. Roasted potatoes sounds bland to you, but not this one. This one had a cilantro lime sauce I think with tons of green onions and OMG....gobble gobble lol. Prime Ribeye cooked to perfection and melts in our mouth like butter. They even cut it for. Spicy tuna maki-yummy the drip of sauce on there was sooo good. I just don't know how to put into words to make this stick with you, but EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. The atmosphere is so beautiful. Loved watching the guys just cook away. I think what makes the food taste so good is that they use special charcoal from Japan, like we do in Turkiye so the meat taste so good. The price for all this with a Sapporo and a Japanese margarita was only $236 before tip. It's so worth it. Dress code is casual or fancy, whatever you want. Just make the trip. It was our first time, and I am thankful I got to experience it.
Service was great! We tried their premium omakase which was great but I did wish they had a little more cold dishes. Overall I would come back here but I’ll try other items. The drinks were phenomenal.
The sushi, sashimi, and rolls were so good. The fish was so fresh. The interior decor was so pretty with so much wood. The drinks were yummy, but they made one of our drinks wrong and forgot to come back with the fix. The server was nice, but so busy that it took a long time to get the check and a long time to get the credit card slip back.
We been this restaurant several time, always enjoyed food. Omakase roll is my favorite and uni and Toto torched salmon belly.. yammy yammy I don’t like there wine selection and you can’t bring your own drinks inside..
The grilled Chilean sea bass was the highlight of the meal, the sauce was so good! The skirt steak’s preparation did not look like it should be of medium doneness, a bit too rare for my taste. The rock shrimp tempura was a bit of a letdown, the flavors were too delicate. Overall, a decent meal but not one I will find myself craving.
Well the first day when we went on Christmas the food was fantastic! Every bite was delicious and the potato that we ordered was phenomenal! The second time we went it was “mehhh” potato wasn’t cooked nicely and wasn’t mixed nicely by the crew and was cold. Sushi was meh as well rice wasn’t great and tempura was just so thinly sliced. The best part that was consistent was the chocolate cake.. the lava was to die for! Since it was a hit or a miss, guess it will take me second thoughts to go back
