I ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich and it was delicious, one of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve ever had, large and filling with excellent fries on the side. I wish I could have eaten the whole meal!

Not gonna lie, best tater tots I’ve ever had. The Brisket Sandwich was amazing. Thin sliced and had a perfect char on the ring of it. I could taste the brown sugar and seasonings in the meat. Service was awesome as well. Would 100% recommend.

I had the Beef Ribs and I have to say that this was the best Beef I've ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection and the beef quality was amazing. The prize was totally fair, in my menu was a fresh salat Bar and two soups included. This place is a must stop on your Trip. Unfortunately I am from Germany so I can't Comeback soon, but on my next Trip so Yosemite I will definitely come back.

The worker from Mexico went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and explain to my non American boyfriend what Tri tip was. This was probably the best service we’ve had in our trip to America. Give him a raise! Oh and the tri trip sandwich was AMAZING!!

Wow! fun staff, very personable, great food. We ate there 3 nights in a row after hiking yosemite during the day. our motel was right next door. BBQ was good, and hamburgers were out of this world! Not a huge menu but the food was prepared well and was good, and lots of it! Desserts were yummy. We got one with huge chocolate cake and ice cream...DANG, it was AWESOME! We also noticed how hard everyone works in this town. we met the employeed at different times working in local gift shops and the gas station. Good, small, local businesses like these need to be supported. The town isn't glitzy but its charming and fun, and the people are all nice!

My wife and I stopped here after driving through Yosemite via the Tioga Pass. After being seated, we realized we had eaten at Bodie Mike's about 25 years earlier on a similar trip with family from the east coast. The food and service we good both times. We enjoyed the soup and salad bar that came with the meal as well as the warm bread. This time we split a combination BBQ platter and everything was tasty.

I had the mother lode burger and it was very good! It had bacon burnt at the tips but I'm that kind of guy who savors death and despair by eating slightly burnt food. Fries were steak fries and fresh. Coleslaw was tasty. The barbeque sauce lacks flavor and has low viscosity.

Good portion sizes, love the tots!!

This place boasts having great bbq but there isn’t really anything to write home about. I personally had the tri-tip sandwich and it was okay. It was a large portion with a lot of meat and generous serving of tater tots. But it lacked flavor and sauce. My girlfriend had a no bun burger which she said was still pretty good but her favorite thing was the fries. The service was awesome with good pacing, consistent check-ins, and timely drink refills and request for sauces. This place was on the pricier side for what it was regarding quality. I’d recommend stopping by here if you’re craving a burger.

We have been here with the family. Some of the dishes were very good, others unfortunately not. I ordered my steak medium-rare and unfortunately it was well done. The ribs have been very good. Unfortunately, the service also had a bad day. We had to wait ages for our drinks and only got them after we asked for them again and after the dishes had already been served. Our kids got their drinks only after a second reminder. Other guests who arrived significantly after us got their drinks much earlier than us. Unfortunately, we didn't get the water that we ordered with the wine. The value for money was mostly very good, but unfortunately not for the steak. Overall o.k., but room for improvement.

Was driving south from Reno, heading toward Mammoth Lake, since I was stopping to top off my tank, thought I’d grab a quick dinner. Seated quickly (outdoors as I had asked), ordered the Mother Lode burger (1/2 pound version). I’ll post photos, it looked decent, but was very disappointing. The server was very nice and I left a good tip, but would have rather had a burger from Wendy’s. If you like BBQ sauce, this might not be the place for you as it was very bland. I feel badly leaving any small business this type of review, but perhaps when they are the only game in town for many miles, there isn’t a need to put out great quality, when ‘good enough is good enough.’

Nice outdoor seating but would not recommend for the food.... they were out of baked potatoes, the fries were bland, the chicken skewers were very salty, salad bar was mediocre at best. Stopped here for my birthday dinner on our roadtrip, really wanted to like this place..
