Stellar Brew is a cozy cafe known for its vegan/vegetarian options, coffee, and friendly service. The Stellar Brulee and trail mix mocha are popular. Some find the food quality inconsistent, especially the breakfast sandwiches, and lines can be long.

The best little old-school coffee house with super friendly people. Write an early in the morning, great coffee, and delicious food. Love the grab and go fresh hot food, which makes turnaround faster. So many cute things to buy. Wish I had more time to look through everything. They are open earlier than any other coffee shop!
Place has a wonderfully tasty menu. We went, and it was extremely busy (I'll admit). They were dialed in though and processed customers well, with a kind attitude, as well as focus. Pictured: Purple Power, Green Machine (protein), Dirty Chai, Matcha Chai, and Jalepeño Breakfast Burrito. Also a Basin Bowl (made EPIC). **Has vegan options** I believe gluten free options as well, if you have questions/restrictions just ask.
Such a cozy coffee shop with a fantastic variety of drinks and food options! Whether you’re in the mood for an iced coffee, smoothie, or a protein shake, they have it all. Their menu also includes delicious sandwiches, desserts, and even local goods like fresh eggs, healthy juices, and natural products. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy some great flavors in Mammoth!
Had a quick stop at this cute and cozy spot! Ordered dirty chai lattes with oat, delicious drinks and quick service! Will definitely be back to taste other drinks ☕️
I'm visiting Mammoth Lakes for the month of June, and having that local spot to sip and chill is important to me. More importantly...do they offer quality whole beans to take home?! Check it out...I found the place. Beans and all. I've tried their Americano and their Cappuccino so far, (I'll be back for sure), both delicious and appealing to the eye. The service has been superb, friendly, and efficient. Cool place to hang, inside or out. Feels very quaint and local, and it appears many of the locals frequent the place. Awesome people watching. Their outside seating perfectly embraces the warm sun and mountain air. Just wonderful! Mountain Town vibe and quality coffee! Highly recommend
Very cute place. The employees are very nice. Food is good and service is fast.
Their trail mix mocha is very tasty. They use Black Sheep coffee beans as far as I can tell. They have plant milk options including coconut and oat. I also applaud their green thinking - no disposable straws, but you can buy a reusable one. Nice decor inside, some tables and seating outside. If you like espresso drinks, make a stop here in Mammoth.
Amazing coffee shop in Mammoth village. Opens earlier than most at 6am. Grab and go warm breakfast options can also be made to order, made vegetarian etc and are super wholesome. Muffins and cookies and especially bread pudding for sweet treats. Happy hour deal on drip if you bring your own mug!

First time in Mammoth Lakes and this cafe shop is awesome! Almost everything is natural and organic. Although the burritos are premade but they’re amazing. Everyone here is friendly and we love the smiles. Highly recommend!
Great stop for some grab and go food to take on a day trip. They also had a good selection of coffee and smoothies but didn’t try those this time. Really enjoyed the turkey salad wrap for lunch!
Went the the "other" coffee outlet and 10 people were waiting for their drinks. So I thought of Stellar Brew on hwy 203 (Main St) and I really glad I did! I got a large Cafe latte and it was delicious. Friendly service and really nice atmosphere.
I love the people and vibe in the room. They help you need it and there staff is on point and friendly.
Best bagels and very good coffee 😍 and the staff is friendly! Wohls come back anytime!
Loved coming here 2 mornings in a row for breakfast sandwiches, pasties and coffee! The staff was so kind and I especially appreciate how great they are with gluten free options, including all sandwiches, lots of pastries and attention to the allergy.
Delicious homemade chai teas here. Tasty smoothies. Nice breakfast options both grab-n-go and made-to-order. Clean bathroom. And sometimes live music on the patio!
The variety of beverages and their quality were very good, food was good too considering the location and price. Only issue was the number of customers that wanted to hang out and block other customers. (If this location were 3 sizes bigger it wouldn't be an issue, but oblivious/careless customers made the visit annoying. Ex., don't stand in front of the water and condiments cause then I have to ask your group to move, it was a warm beautiful day outside so no need to inconvenience others) Will definitely return to try some of the other beverages on the menu in the future. Staff were extremely professional and expertly prepared my order very quickly.
I love this coffee place. I literally dream about it all year long - we pit stop in mammoth on our way to visit family for thanksgiving and we love our morning coffees here. The vibes are right, the pastries are tasty, and the trail mix mocha is next level. So good I forgot to photograph the beautiful coffee !
My partner and I stopped in early Saturday morning before our hike and I ordered the stellar Brûlée and he ordered the trail mix mocha. Both were phenomenal. I’m happy we stopped by.
I love this place, it’s so simple and has a great variety selection on the menu . It’s cozy and the coffee was brewed really well. Definetly a great stop coming in and before leaving mammoth.
Visiting Stellar Brew & Natural Cafe was one of the many highlights to our trip to Mammoth last month! The staff was super friendly (my boyfriend had an issue with his credit card not working because we forgot to tell the bank we were traveling) and they were very patient and pleasant. We ordered a Grab n Go bacon burrito and a Basin bowl; both were wonderful! The burrito was large and very filling and the Basin Bowl was delicious! I was on a detox at the time and it was great to find something on the menu that I could eat. My chai latte was the best I’ve ever had (sadly I haven’t had one as good anywhere else since). We love supporting local businesses on our travels and we HIGHLY recommend you visit! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mammoth!
I really like this coffee shop. The food options are good for what they are — brought in and maintained at temperature. The service, however, fits their name, it’s stellar. The workers are friendly, personable, and all make great drinks. The WiFi is fast, and the prices are reasonable, especially for a mountain town.
Small but awesome place for coffee, smoothies, and burritos/wraps. They didn't seem to make any lunch/breakfast items, they were just premade but totally delicious! I got a great smoothie. Glad we found this place!
The coffee and food never disappoint at Stellar Brew! We have enjoyed the grab and go burritos, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and muffins, and the quality is consistently excellent. There is always a line because everything is so good, but they get the drinks out quickly. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all of their offerings. As a fun bonus, they also have a fun and nicely curated gift shop. Stellar Brew is a winner!
This cute little shop is truly a hidden gem! It’s such a charming hole-in-the-wall, and hands down, they have the best coffee I’ve ever tasted—way better than Starbucks or anything else out there. Their “Stellar Brulé” is an absolute must-try! Even my boyfriend, who isn’t a coffee lover, raves about it. The atmosphere is cozy and perfectly matches the mountain vibe, making it such a delightful place to visit. You can tell they know their brand inside and out. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a new favorite!
The ice latte I got here was delicious! My husband also really enjoyed the spiced apple cider. My only complaint about this place is the lady who served us gave us some odd glances that made us feel a little unwelcome. Despite that, I would still go back.
The coffee here is outstanding, and the breakfast was wonderful on a Saturday morning. We loved the bowls and the bagel sandwich. The service is super friendly and helpful, and it was fun hanging out for a bit.
This cafe might be the best cafe I’ve visited in my life. The iced dirty vanilla chai was delicious, bomber bagel was to die for, and the açaí bowl was the best in the area! The portions were large and made everything cost appropriate. Atmosphere was cozy and the staff were fast and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Mammoth Lakes area.
We love this place, every time we go to mammoth we need to stop at this place, coffee is the best, and food is so fresh
Such a cozy spot with great food and skilled baristas. Plenty of options for food, vegan/vegetarian. When I was there there was free live music outside on their patio. I was helped by the sweetest patient barista, I think her name is Emma, the drink menu is extensive(which is awesome!) but with so many amazing options it was hard to pick a favorite. She walked me through some of the more popular drinks, some of her favorites, and then asked what I really liked and tailor-made my drink to perfection
Everyone was really nice at this restaurant. The food was great and the drinks were tasty. They allow pets and also have options for pets to eat.
Amazing local gem! Coffee and food were both excellent. Free wi-fi and lots of tables inside and out.
I love the vibes of this place! Workers are also super friendly and awesome
Incredible sammy and matcha! Really enjoyed the environment and comfortable space.
Amazing vibe! They can make all the options as Vegan as well. So great for vegan and vegetarian people. The smoothies and the bagel is great!
Perfect! A great cup of coffee, lovely outdoor seating, and a relaxed mountain vibe! Loved the breakfast burrito! After a few days on the road it was nice to have something simple, delicious, hearty, and fairly healthy! This will be a regular stop for me when I visit Mammoth going forward.
Hannah is amazing ! She saved my life . I have type 1 diabetes and when I ordered a coffee from her I was experiencing very low blood sugar. She let me have 2 of the cookies . Cudos to Hannah
I’ve been going here 3 to 5 times a week for almost a year. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. The place feels community oriented and magical inside. My favorite go to spot💛💛✨, and on busy days you dont have to wait in line and can pay via venmo for their grab and go burritos/sandwiches and coffee.
Had a Chai Latte (best in town by the way) and staff was really cool, Jack was working today, super nice kid!!
We LOVE Stellar Brew!! Our favorite in Mammoth Lakes for their coffee AND great breakfast burritos! Perfect prep for a day outdoors!
Cute little spot. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the bomber bagel. The coffee was delicious, as well as the Expresso. 10/10.
All around great place. Super pleasant staff, super tasty food and drinks, and great afternoon discounts. I'd be happy to return during my next visit to Mammoth!
Super cute little shop, great coffee and food selection, super nice staff! I’m from out of town but if I lived here, I would quickly become a regular!
One of our favorite coffee shops anywhere. I've never met anybody IN person who doesn't really like this warm friendly coffee shop.
Great atmosphere, favorite place to start my mammoth adventures. Always check out the trinkets and treats. Must haves
Beautiful little spot in Mammoth. We went all 3 days we were in town because the stellar brule was so good we couldn’t pass it up while we were in town! The staff was so great and the vibe is warm. We will be stopping by next time we are in town. If you’re in Mammoth, it’s a must.
There’s not many coffee shops that serve hot food in mammoth and this one hits home every time. Mammoth Roasting Co was closed so we need a new place, and Stellar Brew is a new favorite for whenever we visit. Iced Americanos were strong but burnt, and food was pre made and so good. Great breakfast burritos. Owners/staff are very welcoming
their lattes and matcha are amazing. the breakfast burritos and bagels are so good especially for a quick easy breakfast. they made fresh carrot cake muffins which were simply incredible.
Gluten free vegan Banana muffin with a caramel oat latte to fuel the morning adventurous. Service was fast and super friendly. Atmosphere was inviting and full of locals.
Amazing gem in the heart of Mammoth. The staff and atmosphere are magical! Basin bowl was delicious with added goat cheese! Favorite place in town so far!
This place is Great. Community posters and fliers, terrific art from the entryway to the bathrooms, kind human staff with attention to detail, they are obviously happy and like each other. Great Quality ingredients. Highly recommend!
My brother and I were looking for a place where we could sit with an evening coffee and have some real conversations — somewhere calm, open a little later, and not rushed. We were really glad to find Stellar Brews. I ordered a chai latte and it honestly may be the best I’ve ever had in my life — perfectly spiced, not too sweet, and just really comforting. The service from Carlos was great, too. He wasn’t overbearing — just genuinely kind, generous, and attentive in a low-key way that made the space feel welcoming. If you’re deciding between the big coffee chains and this place, skip the chains and come here. We’ll definitely be back.
I always love coming to Stellar’s! They have breakfast and smoothies, healthy teas, grab n go healthy food, especially for vegans AND they feature local artists so it’s always a vibe inside.
Major improvement in service over the past couple of weeks! Vanessa at the counter provided fantastic service, and the Stellar Brulee was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the team for everything—great service all around. Will definitely be coming back!
Banana bread coffee was delicious but the tri tip sando stole the show as being an amazing breakfast! Love y'all. Great food

Amazing vibe! They can make all the options as Vegan as well. So great for vegan and vegetarian people. The smoothies and the bagel is great!
Errrehhhh ladies and gents! #1 depending on who makes your coffee it’ll either taste like milk and sugar or actual coffee so beware! They have gluten free bread for sammies and their sammies are damn sure good! Indoor seating is very small and intimate but they do have some outdoor seating if you can stand the cold! They have hot and ready food you can grab and go as well. Nice spot to hit before shredding the slopes!
This is a small breakfast place in Mammoth. It is a vegan and vegetarian friendly place. I had the spinach and potato flat bread with the gotcha matcha smoothie. The smoothie was good and the banana flavor was nice and prominent. The flatbread was decent. My browns had the vegan double Sammy and the banana muffin. Both were ok or average tasting. They have a good choice of food and beverages and some decent merchandise. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the view outside is scenic
A very friendly, natural stop for coffee and snacks. It's popular with local and tourist alike. It's a small location, not hard to miss - with outdoor seating. The menu doesn't seem like much, but they are able to make a wide variety of drinks. I think, for specialty, drinks it's always a hit or miss depending on baristas. Sometimes drinks can be a bit sweet, not too warm, etc. But our drinks were well made, and we picked up some toasted bagel and cream cheese. They also had a nice selection of vegan breakfast burritos, salads, etc. Really loved the eclectic flair, and really wanted to buy some swag, but it was a tad pricey. I know where we'll be stopping for coffee whenever we're back.

The cafe is too good the interiors and everything looks awesome. Less option in veg food But mocha coffee was really good Nice place and ambience.
Grab and go food is delicious!! Can’t recommend any of the breakfast burritos enough, they’re delicious and so is their salsa. Their coffee and smoothies/protein shakes… not so much. My protein shake was hardly blended and made with ice so it was watery and incredibly bland. Ambiance is cozy for working (internet is reliable), but note that it can get busy! Nice outdoor space when weather avails.
Food is good and fresh. Lots of healthy options, gluten free. The coffee is good, could be a little hotter, could have been just what I ordered, the trail mix mocha, maybe just too many adds that it gets cooled down. Great flavor though!
Found this cafe/coffee shop at random while looking for a cup of coffee. I ordered a drip coffee and purchased some unique incense matches while there. Their service, although not bad, could use a little improvement, a little more personality, at least from those serving me during my two visits. What I loved about this establishment was the atmosphere and that it was a small business. Such unique decore and little unique gifts for purchase throughout the store. This is the type of establishment where you’ll find yourself running into and chatting with locals and colorful characters from the area. A breath of fresh air from the likes of Starbucks and similar corporate shops.
The gluten-free bread sandwich crème brûlée oat milk latte and gf Banana muffin was delicious! Thank you, we will definitely be back!!
decent food and drink. Online order would only expedite the food preparation, not the drink.
Pretty cool coffee & snack spot in Mammoth Lakes! I only had lattes and baked goods on my visits here. Their other food options look great though - including a take-away section. The coffee was good and I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies & banana muffin (vegan and gluten-free). They do charge $0.75 for non-dairy milk which is always a downer (options of hemp, oat, almond, and... One more I can't recall). Lots of fun merch inside. It's a bit loud inside if you're thinking to work from here. There is outside seating though this place is located on a relatively busy street for Mammoth. I was still able to sit outside and do some work but being on a call when a loud truck rolls by isn't the best :) outside seating is dog-friendly, just leave them outside when ordering inside. Free wifi worked well on my visits here and there is plenty of parking around.
Nice place. Good service, but slow for food. Drinks however were made promptly. Overall pricey, but Mammoth lake is in general expensive.
While visiting Mammoth stopped today evening on Xmas day for coffee while returning back to home in LA, barista was very nice (don’t know his name) , and the whole place was cute with nice merchandise, my only complaint was stale banana almond bread pudding that was the sign and I ordered to go, but not only it was dry, stale like it was left out uncovered and dried, he probably gave me the chocolate bread pudding as it didn’t taste banana or almonds at all, it should not have been offered. It was pricey at $5.50 to go into trash , not edible. Hope they pay attention to stale items before selling them as I couldn’t go back to show them, was already driving out of Mammoth.
$11 for a pre-made burrito that was so stale the tortilla was crunchy in parts? The mountain tax here is real... Now I'm seeing other reviews with better-looking breakfast, but I must've missed the sign about ordering fresh food, because their menu up front had nothing but drinks, smoothies and acai bowls.

The breakfast sandwich I was served was a cheap white bagel and tasted like it was pulled out of the freezer and warmed up. I’d expect this quality from Starbucks for $6 but not from an “organic” place for $13+. Like the vibe, but the quality of food seems to not quite be there.

Went here thanks to 4.5 stars google reviews but was not expecting this much line. Was there at 7:30 am, google says opens at 7 am and the line was already from cashier to way past the door. Should have announced that as early as 530 am, the cafe is open. I even saw in their menu that from 5:30-7:30 they offer happy hour - cup of coffee free for order of breakfast sandwich Speciality coffees were tasty especially the stellar brûlée, however, the food took more than 30 mins for a bagel cheese egg. I even asked the tall guy in flannel shirt if they called in my order and his reply was so annoying, “oh you have to wait more” I guess they were lacking staff and overwhelmed with lots of customers. Like i said I arrived there at 7:30 and went out at 8:50 am. The long wait ruined the vibe, as the interior itself looked cute and cozy, with hammered copper pendant lights, rustic seating and even with free board games First and last visit, the price for breakfast burrito , bomber bagel, matcha latte medium and stellar brûlée came to almost 50 usd. Not worth the wait and to be honest , kinda overrated.

After visiting this place 4 times now while in town on a climbing trip: Espresso bar drinks have incorrect ratio of milk. The baristas have no concept of the difference between cappuccino and latte. One morning I ordered a smoothie with beet - they clearly forgot to add the beet. The other times the smoothies have been tasty. My friend ordered a bowl of granola (for $12) and received a half full plastic cup of oats and a half full cup of milk. Twice we ordered bagel sandwiches. They take 20 minutes to prepare for some reason. They are tasty but way over dressed with oozing cream cheese and way too much pesto. I got a grab and go jalapeño burrito which did not list any meat as an ingredient. There was bacon or ham in it. It upset my stomach for the rest of the day. Terrible carrot cake - dry cake too sweet of frosting. Prices are out of control. The saving grace of this place is the nice patio seating (in the summer) and the coffee beans they use are good light/medium roast with tons of flavor (too bad they ruin it with their milk practices).
This place used to be my favorite. Now I will never return. I would always get breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches here. The smoothies used to be good too. However, now the place is a total rip-off. Today I paid $15 for a small fist sized burrito that was mostly tortilla. The other day I got a smoothie that only tasted like ice. This is unacceptable and I'm not going to support businesses that are ripping people off with extremely small portions and low quality. You guys need to seriously go back to the basics.
I was hoping to life this place but the coffee was not good. The iced americano had no ice and the espresso pull was terrible (worse than something I can make at home). A Keurig would’ve been better. They were all out of acai bowls too and didn’t announce it until we were almost at the register. The other members of my group loved their bagel sandwiches so maybe stick with that if you want food but avoid the coffee.
veggies in burrito are just nearly raw onion. btw. tofu tastes like NOTHING
Coffee shop has nice decorations and outdoor seating. The staff is also very nice and welcoming. Its a good place to hang out but I wouldn't order any food. The breakfast burritos and muffins have no flavor. Id have to say that it's the worst tasting muffin Ive ever had and my taste buds are pretty lenient. The breakfast burrito was all potato and had maybe a small piece of bacon the size of a bit, and the tortilla was extremely starchy like it was undercooked dough. Spent $22 just for the food to go into the trash. Im not returning. Im giving this place a 2 star just cause the staff is nice and the shop has appealing aesthetics otherwise its a 1 for me. Save your money and buy breakfast somewhere else.
Don’t believe the hype! This place sucks! Vons grade bagels, rotten yogurt parfaits that take 30 minutes when it’s the easiest thing to make. This happened when it was slow too. It’s absolute garbage painted to look pretty. TRENDY MENU, TRASH FOOD

This place is terribly ran. The coffee is trash. The pastries are not freshly baked as they claim to be. When I complained about being handed a cold hard pastry the owner said that was my opinion? I should have listened to the many locals who used to work for Nikki and warned me about how messy this place is. Don’t waste your time or money here
I ordered a Stellar Sammy and it took literally 1 hour to come out.i checked with 2 staffs and was twice told to wait. When it finally come out, I was told that they called my name several times. That is a lie because the sandwich was still hot and I did checked with them twice. No apology from the staff. I would never come back. The lavender coffee was terrible but the sandwich was okay if you are willing to wait an hour.
Sellar brew used to be one of my go to quick breakfast spots in town. Food is above average and the coffee is good. Unfortunately the prices have grown significantly faster then the food quality. Yes it's good but it's pretty insane checking out with a small breakfast sandwich and a drip coffee and the price coming out to about $19. Just so far from worth it for the price. 5 years ago the same order would have cost around $10. It was awesome then cause they had slightly above average food for normal pricing. Now it's similar quality food for gourmet prices and it just doesn't hold up. Go somewhere else there are better breakfast places in town and at a sit down diner you won't have to pay a cent extra vs stellar brew
It’s hard to make coffee as bad as this place literally they make ZERO effort to give out a decent cup of coffee but happy to over charge you for complete crap way better places than in mammoth for some nice coffee. Don’t waste your money
Really bummed with the way the barista handled the situation. I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for years and have never had any issues. I ordered an oat milk latte with extra foam, I wasn’t told in advance that they couldn’t do extra foam, so when I got my drink and it was just steamed milk I brought it up to the barista. She then said that she couldn’t do extra foam because the oat milk was organic and that if I have ever had extra foam with oat milk it wasn’t organic. Which isn’t the case, as I work as a barista at an organic coffee shop with the same organic oat milk. Myself and my coworkers don’t have an issue with it. I got an iced latte and called it a day. While I waited for that, she talked at full volume about me and my drink request. Made me feel really bad in general because I have never sent food or drinks back. Her coworker apologizes when my drink comes up and I explained that it was fine, until she started talking bad about me at full volume while I was in there. She then switches to what I assume was Italian and starts talking more about it. We left feeling really upset, only for my boyfriend to tell me his whole milk latte was just steamed milk as well and zero foam. Seems like a skills issue at the end of the day and the way I was treated makes me never want to come back here.
