This burger is better than burgers. I think this is the best burger I have had in mammoth. I got the classic which is a double smash burger and it was really good; juicy, nice balance of toppings, not too much sauce, very balanced. I also got the "loaded tots" and those left a little to be desired. I think the cheese really needs to be broiled and melted on the tots and maybe some sauce added. I did ask them for ranch and they gave me a packet which made the loaded tots way better! I think the tots have potential but they are what brought the review down to 4 stars. We also met the general manager and him and all the other staff were very kind 😄

The burger was good but the fries were wayyy too salty and they also had such a different taste that I’m wondering what kind of oil they used to fry them in. Def not happy about the overly salted fries, ketchup did not help and I couldn’t finish them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got a cheeseburger. It was average. There were 3 people in front of us to order and we ended up waiting almost 15 minutes. One in my party ordered and shake. It wasn’t ready until we were already done eating. I can’t recommend the place, but I would also not dissuade someone from going there. It wasn’t bad, just ok.

Beef burgers, chicken sandwich, and portabello options. Fries, tots, onion rings. Food was about the quality of chain fast food. The unique shakes may be the draw to this restaurant. Add ons, such as bacon and avocado, were pretty expensive.

Wow....I noticed that the burger seemed different than last time I was here. Turns out, they made a change a while back. Then I checked the reviews. All the reviews since the change are negative. That's a shame, because I had really liked this place, the food and the staff. I hope management considers going back to how it was.

Wow how did I not read the reviews before coming here. First off this place doesn't even know how to make a proprer smash patty its grey with no color. The fries are definitely double dipped, stale not seasoned and overly salted usually seasoned fries have more than salt, you cant fool a fellow line cook that knows how some cooks are theyre dreadful. The house sauce is off they use kraft ranch packages instead of house made. The only good thing about my meal was the martins potato bun. Dont waste your time here if you want a proper smashburger. This place is almost disrespectful for being in such a great place like mammoth and cant provide quality smashburgers and fries. id rather go to carls jr than this place you can also sense the attitude from the kitchen almost as if they're the bosses and are gonna do it their own way of cutting corners to make their lives easy while we over pay for a TRASH burger! Im sure the owner doesn't actually care thats why things are they way they are. Sorry for the harshness but food needs to be done right there's 0 excuse. A burger place that doesn't even have 4 stars should always be avoided.

We ordered 6 milkshakes and the restaurant was empty with 4 employees standing around talking with 1 working. It took over 20 minutes to get our milkshakes and then they were not good milkshake. Ended up throwing away a majority of multiple milkshakes. The service was terrible other than 1 worker. With the price being pretty high, I would have expected a bit better. Will not go back and would not recommend. Save your money or try another shop.

This used to be the second best place to get a burger, shelter being number one. Patty shack recently had an ingredient change. And it seems to be a change for the worst. Their buns are dry and awful. Their burger patties arent smash Patty's anymore. The patties are no longer juicy or flavorful (I believe they used to char broil them). It is unfortunate but it seems like this place isnt even trying anymore. The only thing that is somewhat worth getting there, is their shakes. And even then, it is still not worth it.

After all my friends spent 30 minutes trying to find a place to eat, we decided to come here since it was warm and not crowded. I noticed that the shakes were $14, which is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a classic burger, a float, and a fountain drink and the total was $36 (not including tip which i didn’t give.) My friends burger came out first, and there was cucumbers everywhere. she hates cucumbers. and the menu said there were pickles!!!! who puts raw cucumbers on a burger? also, the stem of the avocado was inside her burger, which was brown. my other friend asked for chicken with no bun, and received burger with no bun. then her chicken came out a minute later with a slice of cheese that looks like the cheese in diary of a wimpy kid. then i had to remind them after 30 minutes to get my $14 float. to top it all off, the cashier asked my friend what type of asian she is and also took one second to make a shake for a guy and took 30 min to make mine. daily reminder that restaurants are empty for a reason.

If pre-cooked burger meat served lukewarm with unmelted cheese is your idea of a good burger then this is your spot. My boys and I were excited to try this place but were fully disappointed. The place is done up nicely too so it’s a shame the quality of food doesn’t match. I was shocked that a place charging $14 for a burger would serve what they did with a straight face.

We came together as a group, I just felt not that hungry and have not stomach for a full burger set. So I ordered a slice of pizza right next the door and wanna say with my friends to enjoy the food together. Rest of them ordered here, 4 combos. We came to the restaurant around 2pm and it was empty, no one sat inside except us. The ridiculous thing is •• when I stepped into the store again. The cashier said no outside food are allowed. But we indeed ordered the food except me. And I questioned out ‘oh, so u want to leave and go outside?’ And he said yes!!!! Wow! It’s winter season and freezing outside, I was kicked out ?!! The store is not welcoming and considerable for customer at all. Crude during this winter. It’s not about the money or food. It’s about the attitude and how to treat the customer. Also, the meat is not fresh, according to my friend’s opinion. I didn’t eat it, so rated it a bit higher compared to my own experience.

The menu said there would be pickles on my sandwich. It was cucumbers. I HATE CUCUMBERS. Why would they lie on their menu? And even worse I found the stem of an avocado perched between those AWFUL CUCUMBERS. And even even EVEN worse MY FRIENDS ALL RECEIVED PICKLES WHEN I GOT CUCUMBERS! My friends don’t even like pickles.
