My husband and I ate in the bar side of the restaurant. I like the atmosphere there. It’s larger so there’s plenty of seating. They have two bars, a pool table and shuffle board and TV’s around the area. We’ve come here for years. This time we decided to order the Italian Sub Sandwich, it was the best I’ve ever had. It was plenty big for two people, you also get a lot of fries. The other side of the restaurant is also nice, perfect if you have kids. They have a nice outdoor patio connected to this area, it’s nice.

A very cozy little pizza and wings spot. A sports bar vibe, loved the rustic decor and cozy vibes. Pizza was surprisingly very good. The wings were a nice surprise because they had a sweet bit spicy flavor. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The pizza here is quite good. We ordered the house special with added fresh garlic. It was nice and garlicky and the thin crust was light and crisp. Knocking a star off the score for value. A large here (16") was $44 so with tip you're in excess of $50 for a single pizza. Maybe that's just the cost of things these days, but it's still quite a bit for a pizza.

Crowded place in Mammoth and definitely a favorite for parents after-ski as they do offer large tables and good pizza for large group with kids. First come first serve on side of the restaurant. There is also a side room where you can be seated or eat and drink at the bar. Table service there is very nice and accommodating. Besides the pizza’s they do offer a nice choice of tap beers and have a few wine bottle selection. Noticeably they do have arcade games for little and big ones, making it a fun spot with family and friends.

Pizza was pretty good here. Tasty dough, more bready than I prefer. But hey, it’s a style, and they do the style well. You can build your own with the ingredients you like. Some mozza, mushrooms, artichokes, olives and basil on top. Really tasty. For some reason they cut up the basil and sprinkle it all over your pizza, hiding all your toppings. Sure, no problem ;-) The pizzas come in different sizes. We had Mediums of 12” (30cm). Good size, especially if you eat all the crust as well. Vibe is ‘interesting’. Expect multiple huge sized tv screens trying to grab your attention from all angles. Also pretty loud. So not the coziest or calmest to have a good conversation. More like a bar style pizza place. Enjoyed it here nevertheless!

We had 19 for dinner at 530pm. We walked over from hotel which allowed for beer drinking to go with pizza. It was early enough to get two big tables and we had our space for the large pizzas and big entrees. You order at the counter and they call your number when the food is ready. Salads, pasta were pretty quick. Then fried stuff onion rings and chicken wings and then the pizzas. The food was good, it was a long day for a ride or drive and most of the guys were pretty hungry. The workers are nice and helpful.

Not a bad place, just a few comments. We were seated quickly on a Friday night, and not long after we ordered drinks and appetizers which took a little long but not awful. However, the iced tea that we ordered was atrocious. It tasted nothing like tea and with full honesty tasted like sour tap water. You could definitely tell it was from the tap at least. We asked for sweetener and were only brought a few by hand instead of the typical container with options, but that wasn't so bad. Not sure if there is a limit, didn't ask for more, but the sweetener we got did little to nothing, I wasn't able to finish the drink. Bathrooms and overall space were a little bit dirty, but the bathrooms were spacious yet the restaurant itself was a little tight. Plenty of crumbs and the bathroom had a stench, sort of expected but I don't run into this problem often. Food was delivered pretty quick and the food was good, no complaints on the taste. The food was a little expensive, $30 for a burger. Server was a little unenthusiastic, but overall nice. They also had kids games, but the claw machine was totally rigged. $1 per play, spent $10 and won nothing. Claw was extremely weak and toys were packed tight.

The wings were better than the pizza. The old fashioned was basically straight whiskey and not well crafted at all. No need to go back other than the fact that it was the only place serving food after 9:00.

Just comeback to hotel from this place. Waiter always push us to order, to order more, to pay because her shift is ends at 8… but she never clean the table, while we eat, so we finished food with a lot of chicken wings bones, napkins and empty bottle of juice was there about 30 minutes while we watched sports. And yes, I’m not rushing you, but please close your bill… This is about vibe. Design… TVs and Bar bottles. FOOD Pizza. Very average and overpriced pizza with burned pieces of beef on it, and very small amount of cheese. And this is for $27 pizza? Chicken wings. We order it, and it was served in 1 minute, so it’s pre-prepared, not hot enough, and very very sour which is not in description, we order Medium sauce, and it should be like medium spicy no? Not super sour and some spicy, just waste of wings in my opinion. Terrible service, food… I’m visiting Mammoth mountain every year for a 4-5 days, and I’m happy that wasn’t here before, and never again.

I dunno, I definitely wouldn’t go back to this place. $27 for a very mid “medium” margarita pizza. Also the vibes were very off. Can’t put my finger on it but didn’t really feel welcome. There was a better pizza place in town that made me feel a lot more welcome, had a much better atmosphere.

I have eaten here before and it was decent. Came in tonight with my parents. My mom has a service animal. They kicked us out rudely. ITS ILLEGAL TO DENY SERVICE FOR THAT REASON. It’s illegal to ask what service the dog provides. They lost a customer for life. Dominoes has better pizza anyways

Been eating at Johns for as long as I can remember. Last few years it has been getting worse and worse. Today topped them all. WORST PIZZA EVER. Frozen store pizza is a step up. Plus $70 for 1 large 3 topping, and 2 small side salads just throws Hot Sauce in the Open Wound. Don't waste your money. Was told ready in 20 min. Got there in 18 min. Pizza was already cold. Not sure how that works. Almost zero cheese. Toppings so sparse you can hardly find them. Not even a friendly Hi There from staff, and they want a tip to for this. Do yourself a favor, buy a frozen pizza at Vons. Or get a Take-N-Bake from Nik-N-Willies. Johns has hit rock bottom.

Had high hopes considering all the good reviews i ordered spaghetti, pepperoni pizza, and a salad first was the spaghetti it was ready in 60 seconds or less which was really concerning this concern was valid it was watery and I'm guessing straight from a can to a microwave. Next was the pizza the sauce was next to none existent on the pizza the pizza was doughy and soggy which was confusing because the top was cooked. Finally the old salad which tasted left out very unfresh. On top of all this when the items were served each one had the receipt put directly onto the top of the food doesn't take a genius to know that receipt paper is going to sink into marinara as well as being unhygienic for the server to touch the receipt with bare hands then place it in the food. Atmosphere though is definitely nice it's what lured me into the pizza spot couple sticky floor spots from kids spilling soda but still nice atmosphere. All in all I'll never be back just can't justify the poor service and low standard of food I was served maybe I was just unlucky I don't know.
