One of the few places in our area that seemed almost fully staffed. The food is always good, and the service was pleasant (even though I misspoke, no one got short with me.) Miss those cheesecake chimmichongs, though.

staff was great and it was clean inside I came in with a disgusting burrito from the grapevine location and they offered to remake. The staff was shock and horrified by the nasty quality of food I got from the grapevine location. Will be my go to taco bueno from now on. ( avoid the grapevine one)

Taco Bueno 3163! I had an awesome experience... I was first greeted and allowed time to figure out exactly what I wanted. Once I begin placing my order I changed my mind on several occasions not once did she get livid or flustered, she actually help me out and suggested a few items I never knew they had.. I can honestly say this has been by far one of my best visits yet.... Would like to recognize the young lady but I don't know her name and she did mention she only works Friday nights and all day Saturday! I highly recommend.

Amazing service, always accurate with my order!the lady in drive has an amazing attitude and I blame her for making me come back so often! I love me some taco bueno but the service defiantly impacts my appitite! I enjoy this location!

I have been coming here for a while now, and in the last couple of months, something has changed, it has improved tremendously, the food is good and my new friend working the drive-thru has gotten pretty good at her job, I always have a "special order" (extra beef on my tacos) and it's perfect everytime, keep up the great work, I will be back..

This is the best Taco Bueno I have ever been to. The women who work here are attentive and courteous. I love how they treat me. They also worked very fast and my food came out hot and delicious! I wish I could go here every day. Wonderful place!

This is one of the only Taco Buenos in the metroplex that still has good tasting food. Not only was it hot and fresh but the beans tasted so good. Most of the other Taco buenos don't know how to cook beans anymore and everything tastes weird or bland or sour like it has been out all day. But this one is delicious,slightly greasy(that's what makes it taste good)and very yummy. I'm happy because since I was an assistant manager at a Taco Bueno in the 90s I know how it used to taste, it used to be much better than now. But this particular Taco Bueno still makes good food just like we did in the 90s. It's worth the extra drive for me!

The gentleman that took my order made sure that it was made correctly. I've been disappointed at other Taco Bueno restaurants but this one is awesome! Everything was perfect and I didn't have to bring it back or get upset! Thank you so much!

Stopped in today (October 25) to pick up an order for someone else. I was greeted with a smile and food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Wish I had gotten the name of the guy that welcomed me in, he was genuinely nice.

They are having some staffing issues, so hours are a little unpredictable, but the ones that are there are working their butts off. I don't know the lady's name (I just remember she had cool tattoos), was friendly and keeping the drive through moving along. Also, the cheesecake chimichangas are yummy!

Everything was good, but I was a little disappointed that my quesadilla didn't already come with a side of sour cream. Still, a great experience

As is often the case, I was in the drive thru on Thursday, April 10th at about 9:45pm. The guy at the drive thru has been working at taco bueno for a while, but I hadn't seen him in several months. He's always so kind and helpful, but this time, he went out of his way to ask about my day and such things. He was just so very thoughtful, it actually caught me off guard because it's rare for his generation to take time to show interest or concern for strangers. Anyway, the service AND food here are mostly always good. But today was extra. I appreciate it.

Any time I visit, I've come to expect to see Jett. This young man has been delivering top-notch drive-thru service for years. With so many other fast food options nearby, Jett's amazing customer service has definitely played a factor in choosing to eat at Bueno as much as I have in the past and will confine to do as long as he confines to work for this location

Second time around. Decided to give this place another chance, the first time I came the service was slow and the food was terrible. The second visit, the food was better, but the service was excellent. I guess it's hit or miss.

I like the tacos and burritos. Just wished they would add a really tasty tomatillo sauce that isnt too spicy. Maybe even one with avocado. Also, a white cheese queso and gluten-free tortillas.

This location is one of my favorites. They are always fast. Depending on the day and time of day, sometimes the food is not presented well i.e. sloppy nachos or skimpy tacos. Otherwise, it usually is a hit and one my household enjoys.

They give you a good amount of food for the price, and they have good deals.

My food was good. It wasn't salty, it was seasoned unlike most taco buenos now days. The churros were a little over fried but everything else I got tasted great.

You can't beat those party burritos. In terms of fast food burritos, this is pretty dang good. Never had problems with incorrect orders and i love their chicken quesadilla.

I've visited this location probably 30 times over the last two years. I bet I've only had one issue if any. They always seem to be friendly and speedy. The place is always clean when I'm there as well.

Nice fast food Mexican place. Not awesome but not bad. Food was fresh and cooked as ordered. Restaurant was clean and well stocked up. Would say go to try.

It is a standard Tex-Mex fast-food restaurant. it is similar to taco Bell however it is a little bit healthier and a little bit more authentic. As a fast food restaurant is very cheap and very fast.

The host that took our order was nice, but the quesadilla (BFQ) was nearly all cheese with very little beef and did not taste right. $10 box items were ok though.

Good fresh food the last few weeks, but very disappointing on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.. Carne Tacos, Party Tacos, Nacho s. The Tacos were not warm at all!! Party taco meat was stale and cold. The peco was also flat! Couldn't finish... The Cashier was nice - as always.

Polite staff, quick service, overall experience was good until the employee at the window seemed to take issue with the sauces I needed for my food. Then proceeding to tell me the amount of sauces was absurd even though I had purchased plenty of food.

Watery cheese on the nachos but they did layer the toppings. The combo burrito was very dry and worse than taco bell. Also no music, no atmosphere.

The staff has been rude the last two times I've come here. Today the little young girl ate her orange while taking our order. I asked for peppers and onions from the back and she walked around the counter to come get me some from the bar that were room temp...didn't want that ma'am i asked for the one one step behind you. While sitting there eating (our food was good)the same girl and the one fixing the food stopped doing what they were doing (working) to cut up another orange and eat it right there with all the food fixings. After eating the oranges there was no hand washing just back to making orders and taking orders. I'm a Bueno head and this location is close to my house and work but I think I'm gonna have to start going to the new one in Flower Mound. They (all the women) really just act like they can't be bothered.

I hate to complain but ... I ordered the Mexi Dip n' Chips. If I wanted the bottom of the bag, broken pieces of chips, I would have just gone to Walmart.

The speed of the drive thru has picked up from a few months ago. That is much better. The food quality has been about right lately. Today they were having a few technical issues figuring out my order. When I opened the bad one of the hot sauces had opened. Maybe put in a little forcefully. I will still eat there. I like their tacos and mucho tostada.

I have never really eaten there before the taco was the size for a two-year-old there was no meat little bit of lettuce and probably out a Sprinkle she's not even a teaspoon worth the party nachos had a big block with beans on it Carlini cream cheese the small brisket Taco was okay flavor was good the drive-through attendant was very nice had a good gentle voice on the intercom very professional acting will I be back probably not not enough food quality was low

I understand 20 minutes until close has some complications, but when they tell you they're out of chicken, taco meat, and steak.. one has to wonder if they're just driving business off just to get out at a certain time.. I'm in the restaurant biz, so I know when to be skeptical.. if were the case, in my opinion, they should've closed early with a taped hand written note saying "we're out of all meats." I call bullcrap...

First time there and the quality wasn't great. Got multiple items but the chips for the nachos were super stale. Only reason I'm not going 1 star is the tacos were good and the staff was friendly.

Tried the brisket nachos...a huge amount of refried beans and very very little brisket... the pico had run out and they were too busy taking care of dice through to refill it.

I would of gave it more but after eating when I got to my apartment, which was around the corner. The food made me sick. I believe it was the chicken Quesada or the queso from queso and chips. I leave the gross details out. Let's just say it wasn't great. Which made me have to go to bed from being so sick. I was leaving to go out of town the next morning. But, because I was so sick I couldn't finish what I needed to finish that night. And it pushed my leaving time way back. So disappointing 😞.

The staff was very welcoming and was greeted very quickly. The service was absolutely great. It was the food quality that wasn't so good. I can't complain about the price but it was okay. I won't be back again.

While our ticket showed the order as expected, the contents of the take out was not even close. I've gone there up to weekly and generally had decent luck. Our order consisted of Mexi-Dip&Chips. Drop the guacamole and add an extra queso. Instead of that, they dropped the queso and gave an extra quac. My order of 2 bean burritos and a soft taco came out as a muchaco and soft taco. At least they got the drinks right even though they were only half full. Since I live close to the other store in town, I may go there.

I like the food here, but I seem to get less than stellar service. When I arrive, I have to wait until the staff is finished with whatever menial task that they are doing (not serving someone else) before even being greeted. They usually get the order right. However, attitudes don't make my dining experience awesome.

Thank God the food was good. I never write reviews, but my visit last Thursday justified it. Could barely hear the lady taking my order through speaker, once I mentioned that, she got absurdly loud. Once to the window, she yanked my card out of my hand with no words spoken, and hands me my food with the grumpiest face I've encountered in a while.

Taco Bueno much like Taco Bell has cut their portion sizes down to a ridiculously small amount all while increasing the prices. Tacos have MAYBE at max 2oz of protein and 1oz for toppings- it’s crazy small amounts now. Taco Casa is the only mexi-fast food joint that actually gives portion sizes that match the price. Won’t be returning to Taco Bueno ever again..

The food is always messy. Need new employees that care about their jobs . The people working there just want to get paid. This was my last time here plus 100 employees that work at my job. Plus the food is over priced for slop.

I just left. I ordered Mexi Dip with chips, a CHEESE quesadilla, and cheesecake chimichangas. When I got home, I had the Mexi Dip with chips, but I received a BEEF quesadilla that I was charged extra for. Additionally, I didn't get my chimichangas either. I attempted to call the phone number on the receipt and the internet, but they're out of service. Instead of resolving this with a Manager, I'm a non-red meat eater, left hungry, out money, leaving this review. Edit: I contacted their district office and never received a response. I REFUSE to go back. They make mistakes repeatedly.

Went around 7:45pm Sunday night 3/24/19 It was raining, and we kept saying hello... no answer We pulled up to the window and said we couldn’t hear y’all.. and then the rudeness began.. he said “I said hold on” “second well let me take talks order..” *grabs card after order “pull around, slams window” As we see the man walking out we roll the window down “here..” we say thank you! (Nicely after being treated horrible) then what makes me mad is “he rolls his eyes and walks away!!!!😡

Refused to give me an advertised speacial price ..then was very rude .she immediatley got mad at me and called for the manager and threw a fit .i never even asked to see the manager who also had a bit of an attitude....i just asked a simple question and would have paid full price . In the past the food had tasted less than fresh. Maybe dont hire entitled brats and you would be alot better off in the customer service department.

Told them no beans I guess that meant put extra beans on my nachos barely any beef or cheese total waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs employees dont give a rats a** about you or your food.

In the last few months this place has gone downhill. My Girlfriend is addicted to tacos and everytime we order from there we don't get all of our food. I cannot belive the Lewisville location closed for good and this one did not.

The drive thru cashier does not know how to communicate or have good service. Instead of the cashier letting me know that something was wrong with the debit card, she kept huffing and puffing with a bad attitude about the card. I assumed it was the card reader until I asked her and she said it's the card!! Her professionalism is horrible.

I went today and they forgot to give me a fork and they didn't put all my food in the bag. I have to get to work so I couldnr turn around or I will be late. Also didnt give me a receipt... I'm going vack up there tomorrow for my taco. And the beef rollups were skimpy compared to other Taco Buenos I've been to.

Went thru drive thru at Lewisville location ordered two muchacos, got two oversized bean burritos with extra beans and side order of beans no muchacos. Don't know if cook was having a bad day. So spent 8 bucks for two burritos that I threw in the trash.#dissapointed

They use to be so good now they barely put any meat but fills it with lettuce till you can’t taste the meat… I liked them because they use real ground meat unlike Taco Bell but however they trash now Taco Casa for the win!!

Service was way to slow... meat on the food was so salty it was like licking on a salt lick couldn't eat it. Pico looked like it had old bad tomatoes in it very sad looking took almost 30 mins for an order won't be back very disappointing wasted whole lunch time to not be able to eat even after it was finally ready due to it being so salty

You show taco burgers on the menu on the web but, you didn't have them. Crispy beef taco, tostada, chicken tacos without a piece of cheese. Taco shells for all were old. Chicken had no taste to it at all. $16.00 bucks for 2 of us to eat and we ate about a dollars worth and the dog ate the rest. Have always loved bueno since there opening years ago but I sure as hell won't be going back. Thanks for a sh_ tty meal!!!

Gross and salty ordered a taco salad came in the container deformed and slightly burnt ordered steak got ground beef instead. 95percent lettuce 5percent salty beef glob. Waste of money, time and food was gross.

Ordered some nachos without tomatoes.Not only did they come with tomatoes, but they look absolutely horrific, and it doesn't look like I got that much either of ordered from taco beuno before, but this is my first time at this location, and this is by far the worst nachos I have ever gotten ridiculous and the waste of money. Increased prices but worse food muchaco is also thin are they rationing? Waste of money

This restaurant used to be decent but I've been visiting this store again since I've moved to that side of town. All of my experiences with this store this year have been more awful than the last. This most recent one I had taken my lady and myself in to grab some pretty basic items off of the menu, not only were they short staffed but the staff at this store either are getting overworked or are inexperienced because the orders always have issues when being rung up and the food has made us sick the past 3 times we went. This time it caused food poisoning like response as both my lady and I got sick. Used to enjoy this restaurant but that was before mediocrity was an acceptable standard.

Was charged wrongfully and the cashier wanted to just charge me for something else close to the price difference instead of canceling the transaction amd doing it right! His attitude was I could pay again for another item or go somewhere else. When I asked why, he said he didn't want to deal with it. Then I get home and my food is cold and wring. I ordered all beef items and got chicken. The tortillas were old, stale and hard. Absolutely horrible service and food!

these people are not very competent. I have ordered through uber eats like 6 times and the first 2 times were great but now it’s like they don’t care. last time i ordered food there was no salsa on the side even though i asked for it and paid for it, and this time there is no salsa and they forgot my drink. The people working there do not read anything , only good thing is i’m basically getting free burritos bc they mess up so bad and uber refunds me.

I just left there and ordered a Fajita Chicken Cabana Bowl. I paid for extra sour cream which I DID NOT GET. The lettuce was so BIG I had to cut it up. The food is very NASTY. The Bowl taste NASTY, the meat is drowned with pepper and I can't eat it. I will never ever go there again. I threw it away. This is not the first time but it is definitely the last time!

The meat was over seasoned. Had to take my food back. They said it would be about 10 minutes before I received my re-made food. 4 customers were served their food before I made a comment that my food should have been correct 20 minutes before those customers. I recieved my re-made order and had gastrointestinal issues for 2 days after eating the new food. I love Taco Bueno but we now avoid this place. Additionally, out of the past 4 times we've been to this location they forgot items 3 out of the 4 times. Not sure what's going on but we're not going back.

Do NOT go to this Taco Bueno if you want the daily special advertised via Buenos ad/flyer. I went Monday, MexiDip and Chip should be $3.99..she guessed it didn't apply to this store, cause price would be automatic. Went again Thursday, party tacos are on special, again, she said she guessed it didn't apply to that store cause they hadn't gotten an email. I won't go back to this store.

Came at around 9:35pm on September 17 and try to order 2 beef holaplaters. But they had cero rice and only beef for one plate!!! Cashier wasn’t clear at all on what could or couldn’t be serve. Poor trining. Never coming to this location again!!!! Definitely will not be recommendable!!!

I had ordered food here. I got a big pizza box of my food but I never got my guacamole and chips. They never even put in a recipe. I was there July 15 at around 3:20 -330. I called back to this store but got no answer.

When i got there at 7:41 the door to the lobby were already locked, even though the window says new hours, dinning room open till 8pm. When i was let in by the young lady moping the kitchen looked confused why i was in there. Then gave a little attitude about my order.

I ordered to 6 taco breakfast. The salsa was watered down. The queso was watered down. The tacos had absolutely no taste and the tortilla was dry, and the chips were stale. It was a waste of money. Overall nasty. If I could give -stars I would.

I went to this location on 9/12/25 for my lunch break and I ordered 2 party tacos and a party burrito and sad to say I spent 15 minutes of a 30 minute lunch break just to get stale taco shells filled with only lettuce and cheese. Yes I get they were party items but there was literally no meat on these tacos. This\nWas very sad because that was my whole lunch break plus a waste of time.Only tonight have anything to eat after paying $5.49. This location should absolutely be closed down for what it is serving!!!!

I just came through the drive thru I ordered a number 2 the 3 tacos and got a bean burrito. I tried calling and some extremely rude lady full full of hate answered the phone. I also received no reciept. I only have 30 minutes and can not come back today.

It was horrible! 13.59$ for 6 tacos is crazy in itself, but than they were stale. The entire store was disgusting and the fresh bar was not so fresh. I will not be eat at another Taco Bueno for a while

I love getting food here quick. But when I want to take home to my family and want to have enough food for us and we pick a coupon that has a lot for a family. Well I was very dissatisfied with them today. The ladies are rude and I have never had to deal with something like this next time I use the coupon I will make sure they fill these up like they show on the picture! Knock off of Taco Bell. At least Taco Bell fills my cups up. I wish I could put zero stars but you can't!!!!!!
