Ordered waffles to go. The staff were amazing, very pleasant. It was late afternoon so there wasn't really a crowd. A family just finished eating and another guy was waiting for his to-go order. The staff were pretty quiet, at other WH it would be loud. Could be because this was not a busy time. Was in & out about 10 mins. The waffles were good. Would definitely visit again.

What can i say its the Waffle House. Its one of my favorite breakfast spot. I normally get the the breakfast bowl but the this time I got the all American. Awesome choice very tasty and filling. Wish they would bring back hot coco, the sweet is an acceptable alternative as its just sweet enough without being overly done. Recommend for for anyone not worried about cholesterol.

Now this is a location I’ll keep coming back to! The crew here is incredibly sweet and personable — they made me feel right at home. Huge thanks to the outstanding team: the cook Freddy the navigator and the welcoming Christopher, Isiah, Sandra, Christine, and Jacob. This is the dream team! It was such a pleasure to dine with such down-to-earth folks. I actually left another WH location that felt a bit chaotic and decided to drive a little farther — and I’m so glad I did. The difference in atmosphere between that one and this gem in Lewisville was night and day. Oh, and the food? Absolutely delicious — thank you, Freddy! Can’t wait to see you all again soon.

I've never seen a harder working restaraunt. These people are pros and I feel like they operate at max efficiency. But not just that, they offered a good positive experience. Right off the bat, our host was kind and took the time and patience to come sign us up on the seating wait list and greet us with a smile. I thought we were going to have to leave and find another place seeing how crowded it was here, but to my surprise we were seated In a comfortable booth relatively fast. But the best part was when we were seated Joey served us and this guy was awesome. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. And then the food came out and it was great too. We had a great Saturday morning and I want to say thank you to the entire team at this location. You guys are doing all the good and I truly appreciate all your hard work. Thank you :)

As usual, the place was packed with people with a line to the door. But as always, the food was excellent and well worth the wait. It's an old-fashioned diner ... nothing fancy ... just great food and rushed, but friendly servers.

Decided to stop in for Valentine's dinner. They decorated the place up all nice with dim red lighting and tablecloths, and had a special Valentine's menu. All the staff were having fun with it and, as usual, the food was good.

The manager that has worked at Waffle House Mr. Whatley was working this Saturday morning with this team. I don’t mean managing everyone and bossing everyone around. His name tag says he’s work for WH since 1987 (33-34 years)! He treated this team like team members. Not like they were working in any other role. He washed dishes, he took food out, he constantly reminded the team how great they were doing and how proud he was of them. I frequent this location a few times a week for breakfast, Sabrina always waits on me and she never ceases to give me 5 star service. Today she was training someone else on top of doing her job, helping others and waiting on me and doing to go orders. She went above her usually great service. I’ve attached a pic of Rusty Whaley doing the dishes because I’ve never seen a store owner do this. I’m glad he is stopping in and working with his team and making them feel valued. I get it, it’s Waffle House but he is making a big difference, providing excellent leadership and this made me happy!

We just had one of the best experiences at a restaurant today. Our server Debbie and cook Big D on second shift at Waffle house were a delight to be around. They were very attentive, fun and fast service. Our food came out quick, hot and delicious. They had us laughing from the time we walked in till we left. We can’t wait to come back! The whole restaurant is so professional. The energy is wonderful. I left corporate my number to TEXT me . I hope to have a formal meeting with some part of regional or corporate management. First time at a wafflehouse, was totally satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was fast, helpful. Only complaint I had was someone kept hollarin' at random in the kitchen and it was a bit of a startle each time. Grits were great, could have used more seasoning, but met the standard. I ordered online and picked up. It's Waffle House, so of course, it was all amazing. BUT I like my bacon chewy & juicy, and they over-cooked it all ALL THE WAY DONE - so it was dry and crunchy. It wasn't burned though, so that was fine, and my daughter likes her bacon like that, so I gave it to her. But I wish they would add a comment section before you pay for it, so you could request things like "hey, don't overcook my damn bacon!". It was all good though. Next time I'll call after I place my order and request it that way. Waffle House RULEZ !! And y'all need to put one in Lubbock because they're suffering out there without their 'awful waffle' ⬅️ (IYKYK...) 💗😁😁😁💗

This was my 1st time coming to eat at a waffle house. We came from out of town and my cousin brought us here for a late breakfast. The service was great. Our waitress was very nice and took care of us. The food was amazing. We ordered the waffle of course. It was so fluffy. My daughter ordered the patty melt which she absolutely loved. We can't wait to go again. The place is kinda small so you might have to wait for a table but overall the food and service was great.

Brought back many memories of late night meals in Gainesville, FL while I was at the University of Florida back in the day. Great food and the staff was very friendly. We haven't been to a Waffle House in about 15yrs because it's always been "eh". This one was awesome and would make us drive back again from Denton! Cheryl was our server and made our experience enjoyable with her great firecracker personality. We really liked her! People were coming and going for food. The place was hustling bustling busy. The food was awesome. The portions were perfect, I actually ate all my food. And, the price was on the money. We only spent $23 and were quite content 😊 We had already started eating before I thought to grab a photo. Note, this was the newer Waffle House in Lewisville on 121

Great experience! We went Christmas Day right before noon, so I wasn't sure what to expect, and we were a little bit on a time constraint. But, we went in, it was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly. They seemed to be staffed well which is rare these days. Everyone looked like they knew what they were doing, they had the same mission, and were a team. It was my daughter's first time apparently (she's 16) maybe she was just younger when she went, but she loved the diner set up, and watching everything. Food was good, eggs & hash browns could use a little work, but orders were correct and all that. Probably, my only issue, was that there was a couple that came in after us, and had their order before us. It was only my daughter & I, basic orders, if not a little more simple bc my daughter got a breakfast bowl, whereas they both had full waffle breakfasts. So, I'm not sure why that happened, but it was a little off-putting considering we had to be done by a certain time... In the end, as far as our time constraint, (we were done in a little over an hour) we left just in time.

My first experience at a waffle house was this one. Everything was clean and service was fast and nice. The food was cooked perfectly. I will say they need to clean the syrup bottles and the cook yelled at a server while she was placing an order which everyone heard.

It was clean and the staff was nice. I did think the waffles could have been cooked and browned a little more. I would have liked them a little fluffier and thicker. The hash browns are always good. The staff worked together well in the back.

I came in for a waffle and got caught up in a lovely conversation with Debbie for a good while. She's so kind and helpful and her service is wonderful. While chatting with her noticed Luis in the back. He doesn't say a word but man is he a hard worker. Like the energizer bunny, he doesn't quit from one task to the next and stopping in-between to fix someone's food. Great work ethic this kid.

What can I say it's waffle house. I hadn't been to one in a while. But my area got cleaned, service was fast and my 🧇 was as i ordered it and good. As for the atmosphere l, unfortunately I had to sit close to a table of teenagers and they lacked decorum. So I ate fast and got out of there before they gave me a headache, yeah they were that loud and in that space it wasn't any fun. Anyway, go get your grub on. Happy eating

The food is always good, I love waffle house but the last few times eating inside has been uncomfortable. The staff argues amongst each other loudly to where it makes it a negative environment and my children are there hearing them argue. I won't be back at this location.

I go to the Waffle House in Lewisville at 1901 S State Hwy 121, Lewisville, TX 75067. I've gone here on multiple occasions and each time I'm reminded of why I should no longer go to this location. It's not because of the location, or even all the employees. I love all employees except for the one in the black shirt. I think she is the manager. I found out today that her name is Trish. This lady constantly curses out her employees for everyone in the building to hear. It makes me upset for the other employees. This is very unprofessional and un-manager like. She shouldn't be allowed to manage employees. A couple weeks ago I went to this location and she was doing the same thing, however I've worked in the food industry and figured she was just having a bad day, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When I visited again and she was doing the same thing, it disgust me. There are also kids in the building and she is using a very poor choice of words at a very loud volume. This should be addressed immediately as it is very unprofessional and creates a bad environment for not only the other employees but also for the customers trying to enjoy their food with their families. If a higer authority visits to monitor as a customer while she is working, I can guarantee you that they will notice how she treats the employees. It is absolutely ridiculous. Every other employee there is the absolute sweetest and I am very impressed at how they can carry on and treat the customers unfazed after being cursed out by their manager. Please address this as these employees do not deserve this kind of treatment.

We had a to go order. Food was great. My boyfriend had the ham, egg, and hashbrown bowl and said it was delicious. He added grilled mushrooms and gravy to it and it was cooked perfectly. I had the egg breakfast with raisin toast and grits. It also was cooked just right. BUT it took forever!!! If you go on a Sunday morning for a to go order you can expect to be there at least 30 minutes. I stood in line waiting to order for over 20 minutes. There was only 4 people in front of me when I got there and there were 9 people working so they need to train people a little better.

The worker Trish is ridiculously rude to her staff. I live 2 minutes away from waffle house so, I come here often. The first time I noticed how rude she was to her staff I just thought she might be having a bad day. After multiple visits i’ve been shown that nothing has changed. When one of the staff tell her they have an order she yells at them saying how she isn’t cooking that and they need to stop taking orders. mind you the whole restaurant can hear her and as a customer why shouldn’t we place an order??? She cusses at them over customers placing orders and it makes you not want to be there. I hope this reaches someone of management and they can rightfully handle Trish. Everyone else that works there is extremely sweet and it is very disturbing and disrespectful the way she talk to her employees.

I was not impressed with the food. The eggs were under cooked (whites still runny). I ordered a waffle with peanut butter. What I got was a waffle with a pinch of peanut butter chips. The peanut butter chips probably would have been great had they gaven me more than a few sprinkled sparingly on top. UPDATE: I ate here again, with regret because the food was worse than the last time. My hash browns were mostly onions and that's not an exaggeration. Rubber like waffle that was flat like a pancake. The coffee was not drinkable, besides being cold it was old and stale even after we asked for fresh coffee. When we to tell them about all this the employees proceeded to make jokes about it amongst themselves almost belittling us for telling them what the issues were with the food. I really doubt any of the people in my group will ever return after how they responded and we all have been coming here to eat since we were teenagers. It's a sad day when I have to choose Denny's or IHOP over beloved Waffle House.

Yall need a better 3rd shift crew/ early morning crew 5am. The cook gets irritated cause people keep coming, starts shaking her head. I wish I knew her name, she seems like a stud. Please get them some more people cause I had to wait 20 mins for some food, I literally gave them 5 more mins before I was gonna ask for a refund. Now im about to be late to work. Wasn't a welcoming environment but the food was alright. It could've been done faster, cook looked like she was having a bad day. Last time I got my food within maybe 5mins thats why I came back around the same time. Should've just got some mcdonalds. I was told that it would only take a few mins🙄

I have been eating at Waffle House for a lifetime. So what’s up with giving plastic forks, knives, etc. for dining in? I want real silverware. My hashbrowns were burnt today and I had asked for raisin toast and got white toast. When I asked if they were out of raisin toast, the server told me they were. I could see the raisin bread along side all the other bread types along the wall. Raise your standards folks. I’m not lowering mine.

So, I've came here at least half a dozen times. They are trying to do there best. But after multiple long waits on food or half of the plate being cold. I'll be taking my business back to the Waffle House off 35 and Business 121. Hopefully they get better down the road, because they have a really good location. So tried to give it another shot. They do not do well when busy at all. I get the same thing everytime I come today it cost 4 dollars more. So defin6be my last time here. Sorry guys. Go to the other waffle house off 35.

I understand that sometimes we don't feel well. I ordered a coffee, the waiter didn't offer me cream, he just went to sit down and wait for the cook to prepare the order! I don’t really want to come back. Nobody wants to pay for a service like that!

Got told to sit anywhere; all the tables were dirty. I didn't mind, Waffle House is usually quick about it. But this time we waited for 15 minutes, no one came by to clean the table, offer a menu or drinks. We just left. Blonde dude with the pony tail was trying his best. Y'all need a team meeting.

Customer service here is by far the poorest I’ve ever seen from the chain. We waited 20-30min for a table just for the poorly trained employee to give away comfortable bar setting to someone who just walked in. They ended up giving us a booth and half my party left due to this poor communication on their part. Our actual waitress was very nice but that doesn’t fix bad service. Food was okay but at least it was quick.

I can in with a friend. We ordered hash brown all the way. Biscuits and gravy. Was never told they didn’t have biscuits and gravy. Also they didn’t have chili. Would have been nice to be told ahead of time so I could change my order up. They were more worried about the shift change than the customers.

Wow, what a horrible visit. The young woman who came to our table and left, three times and did not talk to us, she just kept leaving our table. Finally took our order on the four approach. Then she waited till the food was cold to bring it to our table, then she forgot my husband 's sausage, so she put that order in again, and a little later he asked if he could have his sausage, and she said "I don't know can you?" It was obvious they did not want us there, so we left, without eating our meal. We will never go back. The service was beyond rude.

Can i give 0 stars? Because that's how many words were said to me in the 15 minutes that I was there.. I sat down right in front of the two servers one looked at me sideways the other one refused to make eye contact. the cook I remember from another Waffle House the one on 35 before it closed he looked at me sideways too. everyone seemed to be annoyed that I had walked in. They were somewhat busy there were maybe 10 other people in the establishment. But by no means were they slammed. I went in at 2:15 on a Friday morning. It was freezing outside and I wouldn't have mine waiting to order if someone had just said do you need a cup of coffee because I was cold. 10 minutes after I arrived a regular came in. I know he was a regular because they spoke to him. They asked him if he was just going to have coffee or if he was going to order food. Now understand this is 10 minutes after I got there and I didn't even get a hello. He said he was going to order in the server immediately went and got his pad and took his order and called it out to the Cook as they do. I thought about giving it another 15 minutes but I decided I didn't want to wait 30 minutes in a waffle house that wasn't that busy just to be ignored. I guess they didn't need my tip or my business. I know Waffle House isn't the Taj Mahal but a cup of coffee and a smile when it's cold outside would have gone a long ways but nobody cared. I'm glad I didn't waste 30 minutes there being ignored because what they did was not only unprofessional it was hurtful.

We waited in line for more than half hour when the guy said 15-20 min. He kept seating other people that arrived later than us. Great place to eat but awful at organizing how to seat people. Had to leave we were late for an appt and didn't even end up eating.

My husband and I were looking forward to eating here, but when we went in, it was dirty. There were no customers so there was no excuse to not clean the tables. We’re disappointed as this WH is close to our home, but will likely not go back because they don’t seem to have a good work ethic. Workers were sitting at a booth doing nothing while every table was dirty. Unacceptable.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went in a while back and just thought it was a bad day. Today, I went to try again and again HORRIBLE! THE WAITER named RANDY is horrible. His service is way beyond subpar. The first time we left we observed him arguing with another waitress. Today, he has an attitude telling me to stop screaming when I just talk loud and I'm the customer just trying to eat. Waffle House needs to rid themselves of Randy as the other waitresses are amazing.!!!!!!!! And you will continue to lose business!!!!!!! We will spend our hard earned cash 💰💵💵💰💵💰💵💰elsewhere.

This used to be my favorite Waffle House - ALWAYS had consistently good service and always good food. - Ms. Sandra is a gem and idk her name but she’s a young black lady was a great cook! - but my last visit on 12/24 was not a good experience! - placed my order online - website said it’ll be ready in 20 minutes. Waited 30 to pick it up. When I got to the restaurant they hadn’t even made my order 🤦🏾‍♀️ - so I had to wait for them to made my food! - ordered cheesesteak bowl with one hash brown and it was burnt so my food tasted terrible 😞 and my waffle was flat as the menus at the store! -

Me and my friend went here at 1130 tonight craving breakfast.... We got coffee and coke and was told she'd be right back to take our order. We sat there over 10 minutes watching the whole crew huddled up cutting up, on their phones... Not once did our waitress look our way. None of them did. I ended up giving her 5 bucks to pay for the drinks we ordered but didn't drink it. I am very disappointed in the way we were treated and ignored.

1 star because the server was decent. As we entered the restaurant we could not locate anyone. In the corner we found the cook slumped over sleeping. My husband yelled multiples times HELLO and he would not wake up. But that did draw the attention of the server who was in the back room. The server upon seeing her sleeping comrade approached him and shook his should but he would not wake up. She took our drink order then went back to the cook and hit him in the shoulder and he finally woke up. Nice to get paid for sleeping on the job. Hash browns were barely warm and for crying out loud he burnt the bacon. We have eaten at dozens of Waffle House establishments and this was the worse.

Preston was here. Told me they only did take out. So I said I take it. Then he said at 7am when more people come in because 2 people quit. It was him and another employee and no one inside because Preston was making sure everyone left so he didn't have to cook. Good luck. Update: came back they had full staff but closed all of restaurant leaving only bar. This is the weakest Waffle house I've ever experienced.

Horrible experience, walked in and looked around, trying to be a decent person sat down because there was people waiting for a seat already, random guy walks in and they tell him a seats open, instead of looking out for people clearly waiting. If you want Waffle House, add the extra minutes and go to another one no customer service at this one, horrible.

I had the worse experience here. Whoever was cooking this omelet at 9:55pm on Feb 10th, she got annoyed because she roasted the omelet and added about a cup of oil. When I sent it back I got an undercooked omelet. I visited this place earlier and I had an amazing omelet that’s why I revisited but that lady who cooked the omelet ruined my meal. She was loudly sighing and making faces. It is a food business and she shouldn’t work long shifts if she can’t cook edible food considering it’s a food business.

I dont like calling people out but man yall dont come here if destiny is waiting on you. This is the 3rd time we have been with her an the ppl they have with her an its been some kinda issue... I will say one time was very good an she was on point with everything but after tonight and it being the 2/3 times I gotta put it out there. Always get the same exact thing but this time we get one meal out first then gotta wait on our second one for 15-20 mins an the second meal comes out wrong with chicken we didnt order. The grits come out as the other half is being remade but they are cold... the other half comes out 10 mins later but by this time we had never got any drinks refilled or even checked on a gentleman behind us gets his order messed up as well an after a while has to get up walk across the place an ask her for a refill on his drink she get it from him walks past us an looks at our glasses an kept walking.... 5 mins later...still no drinks or even a offer. We get a Togo box for my gf food which is cold an still messed up again an asked for a pibb to go as we leave she realized not even that is right...its coke... all of this to say that if an when we ever go back to this location if we see that its her or any of that crew we will walk back out an go somewhere els. We are very big waffle house people but for this kinda service I will never feel bad for not tipping or even for saying it how it is with our over all multiple experiences with these group of people. We will just go out of our way to another location. Having spent several years in customer service an still in it to this day I understand some people have their good an bad days but this isn't an can not be used as a excuse in their cases an should be seen as a over all expectation for anyone that has to deal with destiny or anyone els on the night crew there.

On 1/27 during the 8:00 p.m. shift, my experience was extremely disappointing. My food was prepared incorrectly, and despite explaining my concern, the service staff showed no empathy. There was cheese in my eggs that I did not request, which could have been a serious safety issue. I had to drive an additional 10 minutes back to the restaurant to have my order corrected, and even then, no apology was offered. The cook also appeared indifferent to the situation. Overall, this was handled very poorly and should not happen to any customer.

Came in around 2:45pm today 12/21/2025. It was horrible. There was one waitress and she was so mean and nasty. The first thing she does when we walk in the door is she is talking crap about her co-workers from earlier in the day saying how she’s the only one who was working and they kept leaving her alone with 8 tables. To customers. She then ignores all the customers and is just walking around not doing anything. She finally comes to our table to take our order. But gets called back to another table she’s been ignoring. She finally takes our order and doesn’t appear to be paying attention. She made sure to tell the table next to us and us that she will get us drinks and put in our orders when she gets time. Despite the fact that she kept walking around doing nothing. She did not get us straws or refill our drinks not one time. She then proceeded to particularly keep picking on the cook Jackie. She would call an order out wrong and then when the order came out wrong, she would yell and be belligerent to the cook in front of customers, then yell at the cook to fix the order, blaming her for what was clearly her mistake. We all heard. Several times. She even did this with our order. Calls it out wrong. When I hand back my order and tell her what’s wrong, she snaps, “Well if she would just do what I told her to do” yelling. Then proceeds to turn around and begin yelling at the cook how she got the order wrong, when even I heard her call it out wrong. The cook tried to speak in low tones defending herself (trying to be professional) but the nasty waitress kept yelling super loud and being incredibly condescending to the cook. The waitress’s unprofessional behavior made everyone in the restaurant incredibly uncomfortable. One table even got up and walked out because she kept ignoring them and getting their orders wrong. Some manager looking dude named Chris came in and she immediately started lying about what had happened. I left a tip because I’m cool like that but honestly I wish I could have just left a tip for the cook Jackie. She handled herself very well and very professionally in a situation where any normal cook would have really went at that short, rotund, condescending waitress or quit on the spot. You a real one Jackie!

You only have to wait 25 minutes for two waffles and sausage and another 15 minutes to have your ordered called when completed! I just love wait half an hour for cold food! The best!

Terrible experience at this location. I was charged nearly twice the expected price for my order. I ordered 4 grilled cheese sandwiches with eggs and was charged $6.25 each, even though a regular grilled cheese is listed at $3.15. When I questioned the price, the person taking my order seemed completely confused and didn’t know how to enter it properly in the system. He just kept repeating that it would be $6.25 per sandwich, without any explanation. Very disappointing service and poor staff training.

I got an All Star meal at Waffle House. Server was Wesley cook was Trish. My food was actually not cooked at all I actually got it in less than 3 mins it felt like. The cook Trish came up to me to ask me what I wanted bc she didn’t want to wait for my waiter to take my order. I can tell she was ready to leave. My food came to me extremely fast which it has never been that fast. When I got my food I was beyond upset I have videos and photo evidence of this as well. My grits were cold and hard like brick. My waffle was under cooked and squidsy and flimsy it wasn’t made correctly because they were air holes meaning there wasn’t enough batter. My bacon tasted soiled bc that was all I ate was the bacon so I basically just gave them free money bc I didn’t eat the food. They were in a shift change so I can tell they were ready to go. Trish actually was cooking and going to a table to sit with her husband to complain about how she was ready to go. She also stated mopping while customers were there and whatever was in that water smelled strong and foul I got light headed. I filed a complaint and will be pursuing this further bc after for 10 hours all I wanted was good meal and they obviously were over it by the time I arrived. I’m sure Waffle House wouldn’t agree with that.

Flew in from Vegas and came here to eat this morning. Wasn’t impressed for my first time. The first thing I noticed was the cook never changed gloves after touching every single thing while cooking meals. There was this cart next to it that had this box on it saying to keep refrigerated so I’m assuming either there was no space in their fridges or they’re lazy and wanna keep refrigerated food out for hours , there was probably more food on there that needed to be refrigerated but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m just observing. We had ordered our drinks and food together and waited for some hot tea for about 10-15 min which was then brought over in a plastic cup instead of a mug. Got our food and it was ok except the eggs with cheese that my bf got looked super runny and nasty. They need some help

Very different, I'd say opposite of our first experience in this place back in Christmas day, we went at 1:30pm our waiter was not friendly at all we'd notice she had a negative attitude especially when I ordered my meat medium rare !!! She was making comments about it with the crew ....One of the guys in the kitchen just put his hand into his mouth cleaning his teeth....and kept working like nothing, my eggs had a hair, no one was waring hairnets the majority of them was wearing visors just a couple were wearing hats.....it was very disturbing it was very hard not to talk to the manager about that but in reality we didn't see anyone approachable and we didn't want to have a probably worse experience than we already had, sadly we won't be going back.
