My daughter and I were just out riding around the area, enjoying the view. We were getting hungry so I googled for a restaurant. Found this place. So glad we did! The food was amazing! Fish on Friday, chicken on Thursday, pork steak on Wednesday, hamburger steak on Tuesday, chicken fried steak on Monday, and on Saturday, sometimes BBQ ribs on lunch menu are all good, good help, makes this place the best.

This place must be a local secret. So glad we stopped there for lunch while driving through the area looking for some land to buy. It is like a small scale convience store on the inside with the grill in the back serving BBQ & hamburgers. (Not sure what else.) I got an excellent [huge] hamburger on a sourdough bun and home made onion rings. Best I've had! They have a drive through window for to go orders. Small area to eat inside. Enjoyed talking to the locals while we ate. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic food and super people. Their variety and quality of burgers is wonderful. (Voted Best Burger in Lee County multiple times) Gluten free "Moon Burger" is on the menu, but they will make any sandwich or burger without the bun. Their sweet potato frees are incredible! They have a drive-thru and lots of convenience items & refrigerated beer inside the store and an attached liquor store.

Whoever gave this place a bad review must be from California...I went to Lexington because of another famous BBQ place where the line was stupid long. Hit Google maps for another option. Found Herks. GO THERE. Great food and fantastic people. Hung out with a local cattle farmer and had a great time. Get the brisket and some ghost fries! Went back again this weekend. I arrived later than planned and missed out on the brisket.....and a cheeseburger instead...it was good....met some more locals....everyone there is great. I rode from Houston just for the ghost fries....

The staff working here were all really nice and they have a real grill in the back. I was expecting the typical convenience store level of food but instead I got a huge fresh grilled taco that tasted great and was far cheaper than it had any right to be. Its tough finding a good meal at just $4 these days, but Herk's hit the spot. I will definitely come here again anytime I'm in Lexington

Here's the deal... I eat at a lot of places however I have NEVER had a patty melt stuffed with bacon and WOW what an mouth watering pleasure... You have to try the Bacon Stuffed Patty melt !!! Sit at the big table in front of the beer cooler and chat with the various locals who come and go. You will receive gardening tips, recent cow prices, location of local hidden barn finds and of course good old fashioned political views delivered in a respectable manner.

So good! Came out for a drive found this gem! Great food without the fuss. So good my husband went back for a second brisket sandwich. Oh and get the jalapeño cheddar roll for the burger, you’ll be glad ya did. And get the onion rings!!!

The best burger I’ve ever had! I’ve made multiple hour and a half round trips just to chew on one of these bad boys. Just keep in mind that they make everything fresh, so it takes about 15-20 minutes. You can call ahead of time.

Great little family store. Chicken salad and chopped brisket sandwiches were made to order and fresh. A good half pound of brisket on the sandwich. Definitely reccomend and will stop again next time we pass through Lexington.

Friend mentioned the burgers here and finally managed to try them. The burger was very very tasty and they had some ghost pepper fries. Thought the fries were not warm until toward the end of the meal when they lit me up! Will return for more burgers and ghost fries!

This place has one of the best sourdough bun burger and fries. My family and I love this place, they have great staff who are always friendly. Several menu options, but always here for the burgers Please don't waste your money on Whataburger, just stop in here, where you can have a true Texas burger for about the same price. This is small town USA, no mask needed, but if it bothers you then maybe Whataburger is for you. Sad people would rather write a review on policing mask's instead of what really matters which is the great food and staff. No need to mask shame anyone. We just moved back to Blue, TX yay! and we'll be stopping in here often. Thanks for always a great meal and smile. Keep up the great work.

Nice little small town country store with great burgers that have handmade patties and can come with a jalapeno bun. Just get there before 2pm or so if you want one.

I'm not sure why they would use miracle whip, But that is one way to waste money and ruin a burger. in my opinion It should be listed on the menu , so people know not to buy the burger with miracle whip on it. Other than that, food is good.The people are great and the atmosphere is okay.

Having multiple staff members behind the counter not wearing any kind of face coverings, or other PPE...during a global pandemic? Yeah, not willing to risk my health or the health of my family. But, I did love the food from previous orders, hence the two stars instead of the one.

Wanted a bacon and egg sandwich. Can't crack an egg after 11.
