Opinions de Bella Sera Liberty Hill
The food was exceptional and Granit brought us hot bread that made the butter drip. Our meal was so tasty.
UPDATE! Jim and I went again yesterday and had a super delicious Lunch ... AND the price is ridiculously good! Antoine gave us excellent service he is such a gentleman. We highly recommend Bella Sera.❤️ We had a delicious dinner beginning with warm rolls served with REAL butter pats, yummy. Lasagna was excellent and my husband loved the meat stromboli. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
The food is always fresh and delicious and the owner is the kindest, I love that it is a family owned business. The chef always visits the table to talk to guests and make sure that the food is good. Great restaurant for family gatherings and special occasions! I always order the Cesar salad with salmon, which is cooked to perfection! The fresh garlic bread is heaven, baked fresh every day! I come every week, loyal customer!
What can I say other than the flavors are fantastic! They were slammed and they were working their butts off so the service was a little slow but we didn’t mind at all. We wanted to try a couple things so we split the lasagna and ordered the Bella Sera pizza. Everything was delish, nice crisp on the crust of the pizza and the toppings were so fresh and aromatic. The lasagna layers were so flavorful! You do get garlic bread knots when you are seated and they were so soft, warm and buttery. They had a combination of booths, small tables and larger tables that could accommodate larger groups. They have 2 large TV’s on each side of the room. Italian music and decor go well with their Italian accents. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Last night was our first visit. Happy to have a new restaurant in LH! Really good food. Fast friendly attentive service. Lots of menu choices. My husband loved the complimentary warm rolls to start. We will sure become regulars. Be aware they don't have a liquor license in place yet -do byob! Thanks y'all for an enjoyable evening!!
As a first-time experience, I am in love! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm & full of tantalizing aromas. No matter what you decide, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious.
My wife, son and I are local and decided to give this spot a try and boy were we pleased. Florence was our host/server and he was fantastic. He was nice enough to give us a complimentary cheesecake to share as 1st time customers. Very nice touch! This is a must try if you enjoy great, made from scratch Italian food.
Restaurant smelled like Italian cuisines, as soon as we walked in. Very welcoming. Excellent variety of food selections. House dressing delicious. Chicken Parm big portions. Good beer and wine selection. Homemade bread knots a must.
We have been here 3 time since they opened. It is the best Italian food we’ve had in years. The bruschetta balsamico had fresh tomatoes, roasted garlic and balsamic is excellent. The baked pasta sampler was fresh tasting and very filling. Veal parmigiana and veal Marsala were tender and wonderful. The Marsala wine sauce was right on and the parmigiana was not greasy. We are going to be regulars. We had pizza last visit and it was excellent too! Best Italian food in Texas.

Amazing! What a gem! Pizza was unbelievably delicious! Everything was so good, we had calamari and cheese sticks, and Alfredo sauce for dipping. We absolutely loved the food and the service.!! check out how fantastic the pizza was! The crust was crispy and flavorful! We will be back again, and again, and again, and again!!
I didn’t expect to like it because I prefer the more grilled Italian type food but Bella Sera in LH serves VERY fresh, very authentic Italian food and it was delicious. Save room for the Italian Cream cake because theirs is the best I’ve had in a long while. Not too sweet and so delicious. Everything was much better than expected. The prices were reasonable considering the quality. Try them out!
We have become regular visitors here for many reasons! The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and super friendly every time, and the atmosphere is very nice. I love their Bella Sera chicken and they have great chicken parmigiana! The bread and salad are welcome openers to every meal and we always look forward to visiting a little slice of heaven here!
Seriously delicious. Amazing, fresh food. Great service and reasonably priced. Basically it costs as much as olive garden, but it is infinitely better. Saved my Valentine's date!
Fantastic quality food, exquisite flavors! I had the Pasta Sampler, and the wife had the Tortellini Alla Penna. She said it's the best vodka sauce she's ever had. We will definitely be coming back (our new favorite Italian place.) Very clean, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is a GEM! Excellent fire-roasted pizza + great pasta. Generous portions of soft garlic knots, and huge antipasto salad. My family of 5 had plenty left over for a second meal. We've been looking for a good local Italian restaurant, and this is it!
This place is great. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and inviting..one my family’s absolute favorite spots to dine in Liberty Hill. Would def recommend!

Hubby and I tried this place on New Year's Eve, as we wanted pizza the last day of 2024. I saw it had decent reviews and decided to try it. I can honestly say it did not disappoint us. We got the Meat Lovers and Chicken Alfredo pizzas. Hubby liked the Meat Lovers and I LOVED the Chicken Alfredo! We wanted leftovers to take home so we got the 16" for each. New Years day we heated them up and they were still great the second time around. The service was good and needless to say we will be back. I want to try a pasta dish next time. The garlic knots we had were so soft and hot, I could've had them for my meal with the marinara sauce. The place was still decorated for Christmas, which did not bother me, but I think the normal decor could use a refresher. The staff was wonderful, I definitely do recommend it!
Small town place wanted some Italian and gave them a try. I placed the order to go and at pickup was met with really nice people. Family owned and the portion size of the pasta was huge. I got the chicken alfredo and my hubs got a different chicken plate made with wine can’t remember what it was. Both come with a salad I got the Caesar, and bread knots. Let me tell you, it tastes homemade it was very very good! It caught me by surprise I wasn’t expecting it to since it’s a small place but wow I liked it more than Olive Garden. At Olive Garden it tastes so processed now I get a stomach ache and here the creamy Alfredo is so good the chicken and the bread knots were delicious! My husband loved his plate he doesn’t like saucey pasta so he opted for this plate and the flavor was very good. I couldn’t finish any of it the portion is huge. The little side salad fresh and it was a real treat. Definitely recommend this little family owned place.

Casual restaurant with expected but interesting décor. The menu was diverse with so many options! I ordered the Bella Sera chicken and felt it lacked a little something but it was decent. My friend ordered the Chicken Calabrense. He said it was tasty but not exceptional. Both dishes were served over thin spaghetti which was delightful! The service was good. The prices were extremely high for the overall experience. I hear good things about this place so I’ll come back and maybe try the pasta dishes next time if I feel like indulging financially.
The price is 20 to 30 dollars for 1 entre. It was a small amount. The taste was good, with lost of choices on the menu. We ordered 4 entries 2 ice teas, and a glass of wine. Our bill came to 120.00. The place was quiet, and easy to socialize and hear when talking. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked to see when you want to go to a nice restaurant and drop a hundred bucks.

I am so disappointed with this restaurant. If you go there for Pizza, it is fairly good, at least the one time I tried it. So maybe try the restaurant for pizza, but the chicken Parmesan - possibly the worst I’ve eaten at a restaurant. Chicken is either microwaved or not real chicken but it’s soft , tasteless and looks unappealing. I’ve tried their chicken piccata- same issue with the meat. Their veal Marsala- all tastes like canned sauce poured over poorly prepared meat. The people who work there are awesome and the restaurant atmosphere is great- unfortunately the food is not worth going out for.
Gonna be a while before I try this place again. I got the Fettuccine Carbonara and let me tell you, it was not good at all. To say that I can make better carbonara is saying alot. Country ham not Italian, raw mushrooms and canned Alfredo sauce is what I got. Very very disappointed. Bella Sera used to stand for good food but I am gonna have to be in a desperate situation to come back here again. Bread was aight. Top ones were fresh but the bottom were definitely old. Cesar dressing tasted like it came from a bottle. Just not a good meal. Please try better. Wife liked her house dressing.
