Great local mom and pop place ! Really good sushi rolls and the fish is also crispy and tasty. Been back a bunch and always good.

I really like this place. I have tried the fish and chips and also the prawns and chips. Both are real good dishes. The owners are real polite and friendly.

OMG- I used to live in Lincoln for 11 years 5 years ago & never made it into this place. There are now new owners that are doing a fabulous job and for those that are FISH LOVERS this ..... IS THE PLACE!... to go. I went here for lunch today & brought a friend back for dinner & it was just as good. Honestly I wanted Sushi tonight for dinner & was going to go to Mikuni's but the bill would have been 4 times as much & I'm thinking certainly not any better. I will be telling all my old friends in Lincoln & my local customers that they just have to try this place. Blessings to the owners you guys are doing a FABULOUS JOB.................. keep it up.

We stopped here at the suggestion from my great aunt who we were bringing lunch to. Our first time but not our last! We had prawns, fish and chips, chicken strips, and the Calfornia roll. Every item was hot and fresh tasting! In addition, the portions are sizeable and the fish pieces were above average in size! Great deal for some great food!

Great little place, lots of good reviews for good reason. Good food and fast service. My son and I went for the first time based only on reviews, good decision. My family has lived in Lincoln since before Tugboat Fish & Chips opened, and we have definitely missed out. But not anymore, we'll be back again and again.

Love, love, love Tugboat! Excellent fried seafood selections and the sushi is awesome too (try the Happy roll). It is family owned and operated - mom, dad, and son do it all - and they have unbeatable prices. Been coming here for years! It's in a hidden and rather nondescript location, but check them out it's definitely worth it.

First time trying Tubboat. The fish and chips were so good! The batter was light and not greasy. The fish was served with nice crunchy fries and a few perfectly fried onion rings on top. We got an order of California rolls too that were very good. Looks like a family business. The girl taking our order was really friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous.

Super great service. Their lunch specials are really great if you need a lot of food for such a small price! Their scenery and decor is so cute!

The lovely lady behind the counter greeted us right away, and I was so impressed by how sparkling clean and tidy everything was. There's a wonderful variety of delicious fried treats on their fish and chips menu, and their sushi menu is absolutely lavish! With sushi rolls ranging from just $9 to $15, it's an incredible bargain. We decided on the $11.99 special, and it was pure perfection! It came with one piece of fish, three potstickers (or lumpia!), three zucchini, three onion rings, and even a soda. Every bite was **crispy, light, and wonderfully fresh**. You could tell the oil was perfect—no old or reused taste at all. This place truly won't disappoint! Just remember they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. I can't wait to go back!

Well appointed and tastefully decorated. Homemade tartar sauce. Great quality food! Generous portions of fish! Well fried and crispy! Not the least bit greasy! Great calming background music. Friendly, courteous, welcoming, and smiling staff. Each individual order freshly fried at the moment of ordering. Malt vinegar and lemon slices available. My new go-to place for fish & chips!

Great food for the money. Fish & chips.. shrimp were delicious. I wouldn't trust sushi.. only bcz I think people go there for the fried stuff & sushi looks like it was sitting for a while. Overall the place was very clean & yummy. Great service. Fast.

Tugboat Fish and Chips is a little hole in the wall family-owned joint that lives up to its namesake. The fried fish is perfectly fried coming out flaky and hot - not overly greasy like other places. Although the drink selection could be better, the order was taken and served with a smile.

This store felt a tic better than other Tugboat locations I have been to. They were quick, the fish was good and you get 2 onion rings on top of the fish. Yeah a small thing, but it was a nice touch.

Haven't had fish and chips in a long time, many year's ago loved E Salts if you remember them. Fish was ok but a little greasy but I don't remember if it's all that way. Also sushi on menu but I didn't try

We had fish and chips and then the lion king roll. I thought the lion king roll was excellent. The fish and chips were also excellent. The actual restruant is a bit tight and cluttered, but the food tasted amazing!

Owners are really nice and always appreciate your business. My husband loves their Fish n Chips and the piece of fish is generous portion & not heavy batter. I love their Sushi. It would be nice if they offered a salad versus fries, is my only complaint. Restaurant is always very clean.

An unassuming place with great food. Was looking for something to eat in Lincoln when we spotted this place. Didn't have high hopes but decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad that we did. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try. The fries are really average, but the seafood is amazing.

As for sushi 🍣 the place really doesn't look like much, at all. However, once you take your first bite, you'll ask yourself, how is this place serving sushi like this?? This place will surprise your taste buds. My only downfall is that there's no music or anything to listen to. There's a big TV in the corner usually showing golf with no volume. Give me anything to listen to, whatever.

Not 1 grain of salt was put on our fish, chips, onion rings or hush puppies. The tartar sauce tastes like half mayo half yellow mustard with nothing else. All I taste is crunchy fryer oil. We bought $50 worth of food and I regret every dollar. Bummer. I'll give 2 bonus stars because at least the fish was crunchy, bravo.

Everything is great so my only complaint is they should use rock fish/cod for their fish and chips. They use Tilapia! Big difference cause Tilapia is basically a warm water carp and makes a big difference.
