I love getting Jack in the Box boba tea and coffees but the last few times I've ordered from this particular location the drinks have been foul, kinda sour and leave a weird film in my mouth. I don't know if the flavoring, the bobas, or the milk they're using has gone bad or what, but it's been really gross :( I've also noticed there are often not enough workers to keep up with customers so it doesn't surprise me that things like that would be missed. That said my interactions with the workers here have all been very pleasant, they're good people doing their best with limited numbers. I hope things get better here but I don't think I'll be ordering from this location again.
For some silly reason, I went to Jack in the Box. I ordered breakfast and tacos and figured how hard could this possibly be. Well…the Drive thru employee was busy on his cell phone. Either he was chatting with his boyfriend or girlfriend or trying to explain to the family goat that what happened last night should never be spoken of again. When he finally decided to take payment, he asked me if I wanted any hot sauce. I said “yes and picante as well”. The employee responded with “I speak Arabic not Spanish.” to which I explained picante is actually a separate sauce in a plastic cup that they have. His eyes glazed over as if his mind suddenly exploded with this new and yet arcane knowledge. I left before he turned into a pile of jello.
Came here on a Friday night. Restaurant was NOT busy at all. Drive-thru worker was very rude and rushed my order. Not only did they take a long time bringing out my food, they asked me to pull ahead and wait. The worker came out and gave me our food. I came home just to see items missing and chicken sandwich was under cooked. The amount time waited just for it to be under cooked is ridiculous.
I’m allergic to mayonnaise and for whatever earthly reason the little boy who made my meal soaked it in mayonnaise making my meal completely inedible. This was even after I tried to scrape off some but wasn’t even given any napkins.
The workers here are rude and bitter, literally no customers empty drive thru and I had the easiest order ever. Didn’t even greet me kept saying what to what I was saying. And the only extra thing I asked was for sauce. They took over 5 mins to give me the order even though it was just me and one person pulled up behind me. Everything was cold and they forgot the sauce. Reading the reviews and seems like everyone has the same bad experience. Having worse customer service than McDonald’s says a lot.
This is by far the worst ran establishment I have ever seen in my life. 1. Whether you order online, or in person, there is over a 90% chance that they will give you a completely different order. Not just a few missing items. I mean you could order a burger from here and get a taco. 2. “24 hours” riddled across their store and what this chain boasts about. This location is NOT open 24 hours. But they will never let you know. If you come anytime between midnight and 6 a.m., there is a high chance that they will just completely ignore you while you see all of them inside just hanging out on their phones. 3. Let’s say they MIRACULOUSLY get your order right; you would rather have a can of beans before you eat what they give you. Do not go here. Horrible management. Horrible location. Horrible food. Horrible employees.
Waited 5 to 10 minutes for food. Fries were horrible. Under heat lamp for hours! Burger cold ice and cheese was cold. This place meds to close down. Horrible food!
Terrible service from the employee taking orders at the drive-thru
By far one of the worst dine in experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely filthy inside. Shoes stick to floor. Bathroom gross. Nothing works. No paper. Dryer broken. Door handle is caked with who knows what. No one came to counter to take order. Ended up using kiosk. Food took 25 minutes or more to come out. Heard screaming in the back multiple times. Some employees were in booths talking to non employees. Also there were barely any soft drink options. Everything was unstocked or unfilled. When the food did come out it was okay. Poor first time experience with this chain. Will not come back.
Delivery drivers the only people that have to come in to pick up an order at 1am. Employees too lazy to hand a bag out the window? Discriminatory treatment towards delivery drivers. Way too go. Make sure no delivery drivers want anything to do with your business. Why should I have to wait in your drive through to be told I have to come in to get the order at 1am. Do y'all really think delivery drivers should have to get out just to check the door to see IF it's open for every business? Night time = most every business is window only. Why treat the people delivering for you differently then anyone else? I don't have to accept the order to deliver for your business. I don't think I will be delivering for y'all anymore. The bad treatment of delivery personnel needs a change.
This is quite possibly the worst fast food place in Little Elm and Frisco combined. We first went through the drive thru and ordered tacos. The employee told us no, it was too many tacos, and they didn't have that many prepared. Since when do they not just ask you to pull forward if they have to make more? So, we left and placed the order online for fewer tacos along with some mini tacos. It wasn't ready on time, and when we arrived to pick it up, the employee couldn't have been more somber and unenthusiastic. She looked as if she hated her life. She begrudgingly gave a dasher his order and eventually gave us ours.
Nothing I ordered is what I got. From the burger all the way to the drink. The employees, especially one had greasy hair hanging over the food area. I ordered no tomato's, I got them. I ordered a non carbonated drink. Got a carbonated one. The onion rings, lol, 3 small rings and 2 onion stick the size of my pinky. Long wait and I ordered in the app. Write corporate, I got a letter saying they would send it on to owners or whoever. Do not go to the 423 location unless you want to be heavily disappointed.
The manager at the drive thru speaker said they were short staffed. Curly fries and drinks only. The three employees coming out the front seemed super sad they weren't getting work tonight. Said he told them all to go home and that I should report this. I'm a chef of 16 years. I couldn't get a chicken sandwich for my girlfriend. The district manager is aware of this situation. Why does the manager need to be in the restaurant by himself all night not doing anything? I won't be returning until he is gone. Oh, I went back after your district manager refused several phone calls. And now we've got an even bigger problem and I'm going to keep calling until we get this sorted because it was so much more than an inconvenience.
I went to this location tonight(8:30pm) on 4/28/25 to try the new Nashville hot cheese sticks, but was told they don’t have any cheese sticks right now when I placed my order, smdh!
I’m so rired of this! Fast food is not cheap. You order two meals they make you pull around d and wait. So you get excited because you think it will be hot and fresh. You get home and all you want to do is sit down eat dinner with your husband and go to bed. And the meal is wrong. The hash brown is missing. The onion rings are cold. My husband is hungry still because his meal was missing part of it. My burger bun is old. Why can’t fast food get it right! Tired of wasting money.
Came to jack in the box after work to get some food since I'm pregnant and craving jack in the box. The cashier doing the drive through only had the patience to let me order 1 singular item and it was inconvenient to add on another. So instead of placing a 20ish dollar order I placed a $6 order. Pulled up to the widow and she was on her personal phone and didn't even turn around for a minute to take my payment. Definitely going to a different location if I ever have a pregnancy craving again.
2nd time I've came here this week. The two young girls that work at the window sounds very frustrated & like they didnt want to really be here. I'm big on customer service...the older lady is so much nicer. The food twice this week was awful. My fries which I had my husband take back in. You couldn't chew them! (Hard) Well today my #1 I had ordered as usual wasn't well done, the bread was chewy & to much sauce on the sourdough jack. You cannot mess up a sourdough jack! It shouldn't be sloppy how it was. I know working in restaurants can be challenging but although my food wasn't how I expected an employee smile or friendliness ALWAYS outweigh the bad!!!
It’s been more than 15 years since I’ve had Jack in the Box and I’ll never go again after we tried it again today. First, the guy at the register didn’t speak English so we tried navigating our order with him and it took almost 5 minutes to get him to understand the one thing we were trying to order. As you would imagine, the order was wrong but we figured it would be harder explaining that to him. If you’re in a customer facing position in the USA you should speak ENGLISH!!! The food was awful! I mean microwave tenders and fries would have been way better. It was probably the worst food I’ve tasted in years. Now, on to the cleanliness…gross is all I can say. Unfortunately, we didn’t really pay attention to that until after we sat down and started eating. Once we did notice how filthy it was we trashed the rest of our meal and left. If I could give this location a negative 10 stars I would.
I ordered a small water to go with my child’s chicken nuggets. Good thing I took off the lid and looked first before handing it to her. I was still at the window so decided to show the woman at the window. Her name tag said manager on it. She apologized and stated that they do not have water right now. Whoever made the water knew there was something wrong. And she knew as well, so why even hand that cup over?! You’re going to make someone sick!
