Jim is a great guy, his wife is amazing as well. The bartenders are fast and knowledgeable. The menu is diverse. Best happy hour in the area. 2-4-1 drinks and live entertainment. The evening hours, restaurant area is transformed into a dance club. Locals love this hang out, and if you're just visiting, it's definitely worth stopping in.

Thank you Sharkeys, for helping make a fabulous day for my twins’ graduation party. The food was amazing, our server, Diane, was phenomenal and so attentive, the owner, Jim, took a minute to introduce himself, and the guests had all good to say. Most importantly, the kids had a blast inside and out, on the volleyball court. Also have to give a shout out to Christina, for helping me plan it all up to the day of the party. Definitely recommend if you need a venue.

Between great food and beverages the pricing is a deal, not to mention the awesome shows that get put on there. Wether it be seeing the bands that play there or the hilarious comedy shows downstairs, from trivia night to volleyball leagues, they even have a open mic night. There is always something going on that will keep you entertained. Over all a great atmosphere and a great place to be.

While I didn't have an opportunity to sample the cuisine at Sharkey's Bar and Grill in Liverpool, New York, the stellar service and electrifying music more than compensated for it. My friends and I were fortunate enough to witness a performance by Snarky Puppy in late June '23, which was nothing short of remarkable. The acoustics of the venue amplified the band's music, creating a mesmerizing experience. I find it surprising that more well-known bands like Snarky Puppy don't perform here often. The show was a thrilling spectacle, setting the venue alight with energy. Sharkey's, continue your excellent work, and do endeavor to keep attracting top-notch bands like Snarky Puppy!

Visited here recently for a high school reunion type gathering and it was the first time in a few years I'd been here. The decor hasn't changed much even though it's different owners. The outside deck was perfect for our gathering and the staff was very helpful.

I love going to this bar, the owner, Jim is always so helpful and accommodating. He knew I was vegan and went to the kitchen to make sure that what I ordered wouldn't conflict with my diet. They now carry the Beyond Burger, add their guacamole and some jalapenos on top and it is amazing! Always enjoy their live music line-up and the national acts they offer as well as the local music.

Great people and great food! The place is set back from the road, minimal road noise if enjoying the patio. I highly recommend, fills up quick, eat early

Diane was our waitress for my Dad's 70 the birthday party. She was amazing. Could not have had a better waitress. If you need. Place for a party make sure to ask for her. She will make your party run smoothly.

In January 2021 this place certainly isn't in full swing, but I know I'll be back more than a few times. After a long shift, I called in and they kept the kitchen open a bit late just so I could get my grub. I ordered medium rare, and man did they do it well. Bartender was very welcoming. Great job, staff!

Fun atmosphere and great place to play volleyball. I heard parking was a problem in the past but they have added many spots in a lot next to the volleyball courts. Happy hour ends at 6, they often have live music on Thursday or the weekends. Grilled chicken wings are fantastic.

Service was excellent. Met the owner when the server realized this was the 1st time we were there for dinner. Large variety of beer and menu has something for everyone. I enjoyed my dinner and my husband did too. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I attended a fundraiser today for an animal rescue event (Maverick Jameson) and I have to say the food selection was tasty. The pizza, boneless wings and pasta were delicious and worth going there for dinner one night. The bartender was a bit overwhelmed but made up for it with refreshing drinks. A relaxing friendly atmosphere for a wonderful cause. I was impressed. Thank you.

First time dining in! I got wings and they were really good! Very crispy and saucy! I wish they came with carrots or celery but that’s okay! The blue cheese was good! I ordered mozzarella sticks later on that night. They were good but I placed them on the bar table next to me and I looked back and they were gone! The clean up team took them and I still had 3 left but oh well lol. Bar staff was very nice and friendly!

We recently celebrated my grams birthday here as a private party of about 25 people! John was VERY helpful in accommodating us with a Brunch buffet that stayed within our budget! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! They did a great job and everyone at the party said how well and nice everything was! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking to have a nice intimate party! Thanks!

The ambient of this place is on point. First time coming here, and I didn't know how big it was. It's hard to tell how huge this place is from the front. Overall, really good chicken quesadillas, good bar atmosphere, and great place to have a good time. I will definitely wanna check it out when they do a concert/event.

The onion smash burger I had last night was a work of art. Truly. Jim and his staff have something special going on there with their burgers. I’ll definitely be going back there again with my son for another one. Everything about that burger was on point!

The food was tasty, with a solid selection of bar favorites. I tried the fish tacos, and they were fantastic—crispy fish with fresh toppings and a tangy sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. The drinks were well-mixed, and the bartender made a fantastic margarita. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a great crowd enjoying the games on TV. The service was quick and friendly, making the experience even better.

Went hear for a Saving Abel concert. It was an outside concert, but the area was heated. I don't drink, but there was drinks available and you could bring them in the concert area. VIP tickets we $50 and we were able to sit or stand. Great place for a concert.

this indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant is attached to a music venue. very cool to be able to go in and out w a wristband. good staff, unique and laid back venue. sound and lights for live shows is good. all types of drinks available. free parking and lots of competitive volleyball games. a great place to see live music in a relaxed albeit different atmosphere (see boat 🚤)

Great place for a concert! Was really surprised as it was our first time there. Had meet-n- greets that was run well. Great burgers. We are definitely going back to try sushi night. Loved that they have volleyball and cornhole tournaments too!

This is a fantastic music and dance venue. The food was good, but took forever to get. Indoor bar service left a bit to be desired - but outside was great. We had a Wonderful time !

This place has many different levels of entertainment. Personally I like to come in the day and evening. theres volley ball courts, outside seating and bar, live bands, plenty of parking and fun and activities. I Used to go and listen to the djs and dance on weekends, The crowd that is attracted to the later night scene has been out of hand in recent past. But still a good place to go and enjoy time with friends

Great place to see some live music. Has decent pub style food and plenty of drinks. Hang out around the outdoor bar or play some beach volleyball on the many courts.

Sevendust was awesome! The venue allowed good views and lots of accommodations to sit or stand. I was worried that I'd be cold being outside but the semi heated Pavillion was very nice. The bar/food service was a bit of a cluster. People standing every which way and cutting in line. They ended up forgetting our food order and we missed the entire second act waiting for it. They were apologetic, it happens. I'd definitely see another show here.

We were here for an event. The places was great. The only thing I didn't like was the bartender didn't know the price of the drink I ordered. Second, didn't seem to have any staff covering the event if the fighters wanted to order food. It was awesome that pizza and pasta were provided. But some pictures of drinks (or even water) for the room full of dehydrated would of been a good idea. I would love to come back as an individual for a night out!!!

This is definitely the spot to have a good time. Place was packed. Everyone dancing. Service was decent all things considered. Definitely a heavy college crowd. Moderate prices considering the place. Darts and pool are available. And I believe they may also be known for their volleyball. 😂

Friendly staff, fast service, good food. Only complaint is it’s a very messy atmosphere. Lots of trash on the ground outside. The furniture looks rather cheap, but it does it’s job. Music playing outside was fairly loud. No one was there to seat me when I first walked in. Around the side of the building toward the volleyball courts, it’s very disorganized and looks trashy. Great place, needs some cleaning up.

It's an interesting music venue, the VIP section is super weird for smaller shows makes the show feel even more empty splitting the group.

I went and saw In This Moment last weekend and they put on a great show! It was my first time at Sharkey's as I'm not from here. I had the chicken tacos at the outside grill and they were delicious! Bartenders and staff were all very nice as well. My only complaint is I wish they would make the stage/standing area larger to accomodate the crowds they get in there. It seems too small to handle the volume of people that show up to the events. Either add onto the existing area or possibly build a new stage in one of the parking fields and move the parking closer to Sharkey's itself so it's closer to the main road allowing for a quicker entrance and exit? Either way it was a great time and I will be back for more this summer!

Went for a concert, super packed and massive line by the time doors opened. Wasn't aware of a $10 parking fee (cash) until already in line. Outdoor bar was cash only, but there was an atm inside

Sharkeys is a great spot for happy hour, live music, and beach volleyball. Happy hour is weekdays 4-6 and drinks are 2-for-1! Volleyball leagues run year round with tournaments on most summer weekends.

1st time here and saw a concert, it was great! There isn't really seating unless you get the VIP tickets and the bar is very over crowded but overall it was a great small place for a show! There was a food truck outside.for some BBQ I'm not sure if they have any food inside where the bar is I only grabbed a drink. You have a view of the stage from mostly anywhere, I would go back for a show here again!

What a fun place. I mean, if you don’t have fun here, then that’s on you. It’s huge. Two different areas for beach volleyball. I heard that the best players in the area come here for competitive matches. There’s corn hole games galore, a stage for live music, air conditioned main bar inside, tiki bar out back for those who love that summer air. Bar menu is concise. I had the chicken quesadillas and they came out of the kitchen fast, hot and pretty darn good. The bartenders worked hard and, considering it was 90 out, were even pretty pleasant. Great vibe. Cool crowd. I’ll be back.

Sevendust band at Sharkeys tonight was sick!! The crowd wasn't too overloaded. Food was great but wait times were a little long (worth the wait). Prices are totally reasonable. Would love to visit here again for future events!!

Venue charges for parking CASH ONLY. 2023 guys cmon. Massive venue in and outdoor areas, you can't afford a card machine? At least do something to notify guests before hand or maybe just blend the cost into the ticket. No issues paying the fee, but cash only is unheard of these days, spent 30 minutes driving around to find a workable ATM in the area. ATM at Sharkys but parking staff disallowed me from running in to grab that cash. Also for an outside venue, music was a bit muddy in sound. Overall the venue is nice, with decently clean bathrooms and speedy service. But sadly my first impression was this surprise parking fee which had to be cash only, tons of cars being turned around.

The 2nd waitress was great! She was friendly and everything you want in a waitress. The menu is limited because of Covid with no chicken wings. The food was only average. However the first waitress that was working the area outdoors would not come over to our table, which was weird! We had to go to the outdoor bar and request a waitress to come over to us. When one of our group asked the 1st waitress to come over, she mouthed I'm not coming over there. We thought that she was joking, but 10 minutes later no had come over to our table.

I went to Sharkey's showing of the Rocky Horror Picture show on Sat. Oct. 30th 2021. While it is a nice place, we were outside in a NON Heated building. It said seating would be provided. It was, but the seats were old chairs from an Elementary School and too small for most average adults. The DJ before the movie was good, but the movie experience was not good. There was nobody acting out the show, like you would expect at a Rocky Horror Picture Show and most people didn't know the audience participation. Was not fun and I left halfway through the movie. I left a much shorter review of my experience on their Facebook page, but it was removed by somebody. Instead of removing somebody's not so positive experience, maybe you should ask them why it wasn't instead of just removing it. I wont go back for anything like this again, but may try a concert in the much warmer weather.

Went to see UTG play there and it was awesome. Waiting for a drink was the reason I went from 5 to 3 stars though. Knowing it was their last show, they were WAY under staffed for that event. Bar should have had 5 bartenders back there.

Sharkey's as bar and grill is decent. So-so beer selection and food. Not bad just nothing to write home about. Now, as a concert venue I have been astounded by the acts that I've seen here. I would highly recommend seeing a show at this venue. Easy in and out with plenty of free parking. Like I said earlier, some decent beers but nothing you're going to seek out, but prices are reasonable, especially for a concert venue. I can't understand why, with a kitchen that they don't sell food to the concert-goers. Some slices or cups of fries, even get fancy and make poutine! Something easy for someone standing and watching a show to munch on! I hope this but of criticism is heard because this place could be incredible for concerts!

Volleyball: My team and I play volleyball every Thursday at Sharkey's. We have had some good refs and some not so good refs. Overall, your mileage will vary depending on who you get. It's usually a fun time though. Bar: Similar to volleyball, there are some good bartenders and some bad. Overall, most are friendly so I would not let this review deter you from visiting. Food is alright for bar food. Nothing incredible.

I've had 2 very different experiences here. Over the summer I went there and it was nice. They were playing volleyball you could see the freshly manicured golf course across the way. The bartender was nice. But I went on Saturday and it was disgusting it smelled like a sewage system was backed up. I could barely finish my drink before I was ready to run out of there!

Saw Snarky Puppy on Sunday in the "event center," which is a large, covered concrete floor with no side walls. VIP section was multiple rows in front of the stage but what we thought would be reserved seats turned out to be first come, first served for the section. It downpoured several times and we were glad we went back a few rows and sat in the middle as those on the outer edges got wet. Bathrooms were nearby porta-potties or running through the rain into the building. Same for getting a beverage... you had to walk through the downpour to get to the outdoor bar. That said... the band and the sound were amazing!

We had a wonderful time here until four out of six of us got poison ivy. One ended up in ER due to his allergic reaction from it. It’s in the trees and on the ground. One went to just the doctor and was told they just had another patient in with PI and got it at Sharkey’s. So go enjoy but be careful of the three leaf terror there.

Its a small menu of bar food. They told me to sit at a table and a server will be over. Nobody ever showed at the table. After 25 minutes I just went and ordered at the bar. I was one of three tables at the time and only one other table had food. Once the bar tender put my order in it did come fast. The music venue portion is cool and very personal. I will be going back for another show.

I LOVE coming here for shows and I come for Hallowfest every year. I look forward to it every season! There’s the perfect amount of space to be either right in the fun or go find a quiet spot to chill if you need it. Tonight was great and all of the bands were incredible, which is extra impressive considering the sound guy on stage treated all of the bands like absolute trash. I’d give five stars if it wasn’t for him. The disrespect and complete lack of kindness from him was truly outstanding. I watched him talk to these bands (that are a few groups of some of the nicest humans I’ve ever spoken to) like they were nothing but an inconvenience. He literally stomped around like a child and was whipping cords down all while raising his voice and copping an attitude at any little thing he could. The bands however maintained their professionalism the entire interaction which was crazy because if that was me I would have been pissed. On a positive note - the bartenders were nice as hell and super cool and treated everyone like human beings which was nice! (:

Large independent venue with a ton of potential! Hope they never go corporate because this place really COULD be something. Security is laid back didn't seem like steroid fueled neanderthals however the culture of the staff definitely could work on organization, professionalism, and most importantly GUEST SERVICES.

Sharkey's oversold the moe and Umphrey's McGee concert that was on June 13th. This was my first time here and compared to all the other venues, this was the absolute most uncomfortable. There were entirely too many people there for that concert. I'll never return to Sharkey's if I suspect a show will be sold out.

The food, which was 3 burgers and fries, and 1 order of wings (4 people) took over an hour to get. The burgers were cold, fries not very hot either, and the burgers weren't even served as the menu listed them! The drinks were very small and expensive! The set up is terrible for music! The sound system was absolutely terrible!!! I don't know how anyone can enjoy the performances!! This was a Veteran Event, one person in our party is a Veteran, and it was terrible service!! I will not go back!! Nor will anyone else i was with!!

I went to go see Ashanti at Sharkey's. I drove all the way from Boston to see her perform. This will probably be the one and only time I attend a concert there. Ashanti put on a great performance. I had bought a meet and greet after the show. Where she was supposed to have her meet and greet at Destiny USA, it was on lockdown because of someone bringing a gun into the mall and shot someone in the neck. I do not blame Sharkey's for this happening. However, I do blame them for making it out to be that the meet and greet was moved to their venue, and after waiting in line for an hour after her show was done. I was told the meet and greet was canceled altogether and that she had already left. How I would have handled the meet and greet would have been right after the show, the people who bought a meet and greet for Ashanti to go up on stage and she would take pictures with everyone on stage who bought a meet and greet and their names being on the list.

Terrible management. So many decisions made during the event instead of planning before the event like any other business. Staff reserving tables is completely useless and absolutely ruined the experience for my family.

I understand why Sharkey's advertises American food...! Not good, not great, not tasty...just food! Sharkey's ought to stop heating up food for consumption and sink the $ in more entertainment or more fun or more booze!

Paid for show and then got kicked out before the headliner oversome other asshole in the mosh pits, do not recommended this venue, they can't get their tickets right, no email for tickets just PayPal receipt then over book and security takes It out on the wrong party 10/10 do not recommend this venue
