Honestly one of the best places to eat in Lodi. Their spam musubi, beef musubi, and chicken katsu, are all legendary-tier. I've eaten here four times in the last month and I'm addicted now. Highly recommend.

I think the portion sizes could definitely use a boost. The combo meal was practically overflowing with cabbage, which was a bit overwhelming. The rice was just right, the mac was tasty, and the meat was delicious, but I definitely could've done with larger portions overall.

The place was slammed for BOGO special today but Perla found time to help me on the phone and in store. She was answering calls while handling the line of customers in English and Spanish. Probably performing the workload of 3 employees at once with a smile. Excellent customer service!

This place is awesome 👌 I have tried several dishes here such as Island fire chicken, katsu chicken, island fire fish! My personal favorite is the island fire chicken. The fish was very good too! Perfectly cooked ! Macaroni salad is delicious too!

I’ve visited and dined in at Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Lodi off Kettleman more than a dozen times, and each visit has been consistently great. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, making sure I'm well taken care of. Food comes out fresh and flavorful—especially the grilled meats and sauces—and prices stay very reasonable for the portion sizes. Easily a go-to spot in this shopping center.

The staff is great here. For some reason door dash doesn't include the option to get extra sauces so I've made a habit of calling the store to request they put extra in my order and they're always so friendly and kind. They've even gone as far to include a little thank you note for calling them. Thanks you guys for being so great!

I called in a pick up order. It was ready at the stated time. The BBQ chicken and White fish were both excellent. The BBQ beef and Kalbi short rib are very good. I liked both the macaroni and fresh mixed salad. On the lunch plate you can ask for the fresh mixed salad instead of the macaroni. (This cost a little extra.) The customer service was good and friendly. I was in and out very quickly.

Sometimes it can be a challenge to order, but every time I have the seafood It comes out fresh and satisfying. I ask for chopsticks even when its not necessary lol. Shout out to #AsianAmericanPacificIsladerHerritageMonth

Overall a good place to eat but I will say the last time we went it was obviously rushed. My husband got sick for a whole week from it but I didn’t. We’ve been there multiple times when it’s about 30 minutes from close and this has only happened once, they sometimes give you a bit of attitude when you order but it also closes at 9 so in my opinion that’s a little early . I would say if it’s that big of a deal to order 30 minutes from close you should stop taking orders a little earlier.

And seeing as how they don't allow special instructions on the order and you can't just order sauce there's no way to guarantee they put it in other than blind hope. It's irritating because the food is so good but the sauce helps take it to that next level. Hopefully they get this figured out. The employees have always been very nice

I ordered but had my card declined. I stepped out of line ( no one was there.) Took maybe a minute to fix my account but that was the last I was to be helped here. The cashier took a phone call and would not take my order. The manager who I'm assuming was manager due to her being the only employee dealing with food without a mask or gloves came to help the girl twice never actually completing the issue and walking away. I really wanted to try this place but being on a 30 minute lunch and ignored is not worth my money

06/17/23 (12:30pm) I called in to ask for all rice (no macoroni) on my fish plate that I ordered through Door Dash. The young guy who answered the phone told me that my Door Dash order had not showed up in their system yet. So I told him I would call back because I needed to make a slight alteration to my order. 7mins passed, I call back and was told my order was already picked up, and the original guy who answer the phone was a new guy, so he probably was confused or something. So I cancel my original order because my Son has allergic reaction to the Macoroni salad and re-placed the same again at the same location. This time I figured I’ll call and ask to speak to a Manager and just simply explain that I ordered a fish plate and could he just make it with all rice whenever it shows up in their system. His English was a bit rough as well as his understanding of English. He told me it was loud and could barely hear me, but I was in a super quiet room with nothing but a ceiling fan on. I tried to explain but he kept talking over me and finally just hung up in my face. This was very rude of him and I’ll make certain me and my family will ever spend another dime there.

This restaurant is Dan either by teenagers or a young woman that has absolutely no idea what’s she’s doing. Each time I have visited here, they are inconsistent with how they serve the food. They do not go in order so I ended up waiting for an hour when they said it would only be an extra 10 minutes. This has happened more than once end each time the girl gives attitude like it’s my fault she doesn’t know to run the kitchen. Poor customer service and the attitude does not help the situation whatsoever. Food was okay, I feel like they gave out smaller portions because I pointed out they have given out several orders before mine was ready when I had ordered 20-15 minutes before the other orders were given out. Disappointed and annoyed.

Restaurant basics 101. Teach your employees to greet the customers standing at the counter. Stood there for at least a couple minutes. Several employees working right in front of me. Not one said hi or we will be with you shortly. I ended up walking out.
