Normally I will pass on pizza, just not my favorite food. The exception is Bonello's in Lomita, this is the best pizza in the South Bay. I actually stop by and share a pizza with friends for dinner. Guess there is a first for everything. Pizza is a snack but it's also a whole meal.

Love Bonellos! I live in the neighborhood across the street, and just went here again for lunch today. Perfect Covid procedures, and love their pizza lunch deal. Today was pesto margarita and cheese and pepperoni, with a salad and soda. Delish!!

We bought a large jalapeño pepperoni pizza and a pesto margarita pizza. Both were delicious! The service is slow but worth the wait. There is limited space to eat inside, but there is a charming outdoor space in front. Ingredients taste fresh, and the pizzas have tons of flavor. I highly recommend this Bonello's. By the way, the BBQ chicken pizza is also amazing!

I was on my way to a bbq place and saw this joint and I just pulled over. Something told me this was the place. I took two bites of my torpedo and had to write a quick review. Tied for best torpedo I've ever had. Staff was great , Tony was very friendly and I am going to be a new regular. Top notch. I'm glad I listened to the angel on my shoulder that said " pull over that's the place you're looking for"

They make their meatballs and it's obvious because they are good and they are large. A 3 meatball sub sounded small, but was easily sufficient for two people. The bread was DELIGHTFUL ! All the things that are so seldom together - lightly crunchy, completely crunchy but no spot was at all hard - fluffy without being too light - and the bread had a good "tooth" too. That ever so slightly chewy for a second before melting away. I added garlic and a bit of salt at the table, but just because the meatballs were mild, doesn't mean they weren't GREAT. It was my mood, not their quality. The fact that they worked extremely well with seasoning at the table speaks to high quality if you think about that for just a second or two. We'll be back to check out a lot more of the menu !

This is the place to have an Italian dinner. It reminds me of home in Grandma's kitchen. The food is beyond delicious! Grab a slice of pizza or some Eggplant Parm or anything else on the menu. Went in for a quick thin pizza lunch meal. Had a nice salad and a slice with a drink for around $10. They also had different slice to choose from.

Our go to local pizza joint. The owner is always there and friendly. He's even made a delivery to my house before and told me not to tip him anything. I always opt for the Sicilian pizza. Be wary that it takes longer to make the pizza since it is thicker and bigger.

Went here for first time got spaghetti with sausage came with two small bread pieces. Sausage was awesome spaghetti was above average bread was blah... needs work.

The style of the restaurant is cute, small and homely. I did have to wait quite a while for my pizza, though. But it was understandable when it came out very hot and steamy. The price did change from the menu and I was charged more, which wasn't a very pleasant surprise. Then again, the medium pizza was huge, freshly made, and delicious.

This pizza is pretty phenomenal. My favorite food is pizza and I have eaten in over 50 pizza places in my time. Via 313 was hands down my favorite and I can't wait to go back. The pizza has just the right amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni to leave you wanting more after the last slice. I was a little nervous about the wait time but it was well worth the wait. If you haven't tried this place you have to stop by and order two pizzas.

Passed by Bonello’s for years. Finally stoped in to try their pizza. Lunch special 1 slice + salad + soda. 1 slice is 1/4 of a very large pizza. Pizza was decent, good enough that I’ll come back when I want a single slice. Not many shingle slice places. Salad was much better than expected: included carrots, cauliflower and more I don’t recall. Definitely a place for a quick pizza lunch.

We ordered the small pepperoni pizza with a salad and two soda's. No fountain soda only cans with small cup of ice when asked. The pizza was larger than we expected, so we had leftovers. The pizza was good, but a little oily. There was no crowd so we were seated quickly. We sat outside as it was great weather.

Also had their sausage and pepper hero, which was also a highlight. Only strange thing was seeing garlic bread slices on top of the pie. Not used to that, but otherwise, great pizzeria in the area for a NY pizza.

Pizza is good large is large could put more toppings after all you charge for each one crust gets a little hard after sitting so best to eat hot i will get pizza from here again.. My review is based on the Calzone that plus a soda was $20 the calzone was pretty big though the cheese they use for there Calzone is like a ricotta are something its basically stuffed with a bunch of yogurt consistency cheese when hot I got 2 toppings but found hardly any of the pepperoni are sausage inside I guess since you can't see inside they can skimp the toppings they need to consider changing the cheese my reviews are honest and just as much for the owner as the consumer even more for the owner please hear me out I can almost guarantee your repeat costumer is not ordering another calzone the calzone was a little better cold but then the crust was hard owner please try the sanpedro bonellos version called the happy roll suace inside and packed with toppings a little smaller but tastier and a few dollars cheaper bigger isn't always better then you just got a lot of something you dont really care for and an empty pocket $20 down the drain..

I use to go there a lot when they were next door and have been going to Rizzo's . But I have always ordered thin crust at Rizzo's And I guess they have so many kids working there, they have messed us many times. So, thought I would try Bonell9s again Sorry, Rizzos is better

It took two tries it took two tries to even get service in this restaurant. I stopped in last week sat down for 15 minutes and nobody came to the table.... So I left I came again today I had to stick my head into the kitchen and ask for service.. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce I ordered the dinner but I couldn't get it cuz they didn't have soup today.....whatever...so I waited and I got a very uninspired dish spaghetti with meat sauce that was less than memorable way over garnished with parsley I suppose for artistic flair but my best advice is go anywhere but here I gave it three stars because I got enough food for the price , but I'm not coming back.

The pizza isn't as good as the other Bonello branches, but stil respectable. The pizza bread wasn't fluffy nor crunchy (ie somewhat watery and flaccid even when reheated), and the toppings seem to slide off the bread. The garlic knots are 1/10 since it was hardened dough and had no flavor even when it was reheated in the oven. Service was great though.

The staff seemed really friendly and their portions are good. (Not sure if they upgraded our medium pizza to a large) When we brought our pizza and wings home, the crust and cheese were pretty disappointing. I liked that they had a thin crust, but there was no chew and everything generally lacked flavor.

I found GREEN MOLD on the corner of the toasted bread they gave me it even tasted nasty. I took a picture my co worker are reporting this place to the health department ASAP. This place does not deserve to be open. The people are very rude.

$60, for 1 pizza , pasta salad and breadsticks. The pizza was gross , we couldn't eat. Bread sticks came cold like they were made way earlier or day before. Pasta was cold and hard. Salad italian dressing was gross, had to find dressing to add to it. We all felt sick after the little of food we ate. Will probably never go back.

Why does this restaurant close earlier than the closing time listed on Google? Even if I show up 30 minutes before closing, they lock the door. Maybe they should just change the closing time on Google to "at their discretion."

We used to go to another Bonello's place. We opted to go here as it is nearer our home but we are so disappointed, We ordered ahead of time and we were asked to come by to pick up our order in 35 minutes. We showed up after 25 minutes. We were told we were early so we waited, we waited for another 25 minutes. We we shocked when finally our order of medium size is in a large box. When we opened the pizza was 3x thinner than we used to received from the other place but this pizza is quite large. Because the dough is so thin, it tasted very very salty.
