Wow! We happened to randomly stop by and we were blown away. Its takeout only, waited around 10-15min? I got the chicken shawarma plate and my husband got the super plate with three meats The salad was so fresh The meat was so flavorful. I would recommend the super plate as chicken was juicier! This is the best Mediterranean food we have had in south bay so far and we have tried it all! I wanted to gatekeep because it was so good but at the same time want it to become so popular it never goes away 😅

A hidden gem, so don't miss it! You're gonna want to try it. Takeout only spot. This restaurant is punching so far above its price point, it's insane they're not overrun and sold out everyday. Quality is excellent. The chicken shawarma plate looked, smelled and tasted amazing and is fulfilling all my shawarma needs right now. The seasoning on the chicken was a bit strong for me but it tasted great which makes up for it, and bet a lot of people will prefer it that way. Salad is very fresh, bright and substantive. No limp or browning produce. Fresh. Everything looks made the right way. Their plates are stacked and are pretty big. If you don't eat huge portions then their plates could serve 2 ppl. All their sauces are also done very well, they make you want to mix up every bite with them. The salad dressing I think is their own vinigerette recipe with a bit of citrus and is a damn good one if you like vinaigrettes. Great for cleansing the palette between the heaps of rice, shawarma bites and sauces. Support your local businesses! This one deserves every 5 star review.

I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Arash, who took the time to walk me through the menu and even offered a complimentary hummus appetizer to try. His hospitality and passion for the food were clear from the start. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is amazing, and the food is fantastic! It was absolutely delicious and a great experience for us. Each plate is enough for two people, and the portions are very generous. Phenomenal food and fantastic portions served with love. Wow! What an amazing hole-in-the-wall find for excellent Mediterranean food. So good I came back two nights in a row. I stumbled on this restaurant because of it's amazing reviews on Google Maps - don't let the 34 reviews and new-ish status of this restaurant fool you - it is the TRUTH. My recommendation: Beef kofta kebab plate with fries and Greek salad. First - the food. My first night here, I got the chicken and beef shawarma combo plate. The entire drive home, the delicious, smoky smell of the chicken shawarma filled my car. The taste was even better. The chicken was tender, smoky, savory, and juicy. The steak provided a nice robust flavor as a counterbalance to the light chicken - also cooked to perfection. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the freshness shows in both flavor and texture. The next night I went back (yes, it was THAT good) and I got the beef kofta kebab plate with fries and a Greek salad. Man, that meal really took it up a notch. The kofta kebab was out of this world. The beef was rich and melt-in-your-mouth buttery, just perfectly textured. The meat seasoned wonderfully with aromatic and fragrant spices. I love kofta kebabs and order them often and these may just be the best ones I've ever had. The fries also were so, so delicious. The seasoning on them took them from normal fries to over the top. I could eat this all day! Of course, this review would be incomplete without talking about the sauces. From the earthy, creamy, fresh hummus to the unbelievable tangy garlic sauce, I found myself using the pita to scrape out every last bit of these sauces. The portions were fantastic and my bowl was loaded to the brim with meat - I ended up getting two huge meals out of just one order. Second, the service: I don't think I have ever met an owner/chef who is as passionate about their job as the owner of Vendetta Rossa. The first night, we chatted about his passion for food, his journey to opening his business, and the love he has for cooking. You can tell he really cares about the food. It is evident talking to him, even moreso when you take a bite of what he's making. This is food cooked with love. The second night when I came back, he was so excited I liked the food he let out an audible cheer. It is so special to see people who take this much pride in their work. This place is amazing. If you like Mediterranean food - honestly, if you like food at all - you'll love Vendetta Rossa.

We are new loyal customers! Wow! First time ordering from Vendetta Rossa tonight! What a gem in our neighborhood! We ordered the Super Plate (chicken, steak and kofta kebabs, with choice of two sides, we picked rice and fattoush salad) and the Beef Shawarma Wrap and everything was so flavorful! I’m obsessed with pickled vegetables so that was a very exciting side to the wrap! The meat was so flavorful! The garlic sauce is the most garlicky deliciousness I’ve ever tasted. Start light, then dive in deep if you dare! We can’t wait to come back! ***Just note, it is for pick up only, no seating available. Lucky for us we are just a short walk away! My hubby was shocked how fast I made it back. Owner is super warm and welcoming! Can’t wait to order again soon!

Stumbled upon Vendetta Rossa on Door dash and I am so excited we have a new neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant! I ordered the fattoush salad with chicken and it was so so fresh and flavorful! Get the garlic sauce too- you won’t regret it. It’s takeout only but there’s plenty of parking. I’ll definitely be back!

Went in today, met the owner, Arash. Really cool guy. Bought Chicken Shawarma Ala Carte, and a Chicken Kabob Plate w/ a skewer of Steak Kabob. My wife got the Falafel plate. Amazing! Place is takeout, but definitely come with an appetite because everything on the menu is tempting.

I live nearby and decided to get some takeout, and let me tell you, the chicken shawarma is seasoned to PERFECTION. It was a little bit spicy, salty, and a tiny bit sweet, and you MUST get some tzatziki to pair! There's no actual seating, so it's takeout only, but I will be coming back!!

I rarely eat out because I have sensitive stomach. This restaurant makes the dishes very tasty and also gentle on my stomach. Excellent 👌👌👌 By the way the personal is very friendly and polite and prices are good. Hope nothing will change in the future :)

Tried this spot for dinner after seeing so many positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Kofta kebab plate was flavorful, tender, perfectly seasoned, and a very generous portioned plate. The staff was welcoming, and my online pickup order was ready exactly when promised. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try other plates!

We had talked about stopping by several times, and we’re so glad we finally did! Even though it’s takeout-only, everything was beautifully packaged and still hot and fresh when we got home. We tried the Chicken Shawarma Plate, Shawarma Combo Plate, and several of their sauces — the garlic sauce, in particular, is amazing! Every bite was delicious and perfectly seasoned. So happy we found this local spot — it’s definitely going to be one of our regular takeout places!

I have no idea why more people don't know about it because the food is AMAZING. The owner is always there with such a positive vibe and genuine friendliness—like, you actually feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back just for that energy alone. But let's talk about the food... it's top quality, no joke. The falafel comes with 6 pieces and it's 100 times better than Cava—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, just perfect. And the kofta kebab? Delicious! You can tell they use top quality meat. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. The portions are absolutely HUGE too—like, seriously generous. You're getting so much food for your money, I always end up with leftovers (which honestly is the best problem to have). If you're craving Middle Eastern food, you HAVE to check this place out. It's the kind of hidden gem that deserves way more love. Been telling everyone I know about it! Highly recommend! 🙌

Got their Combo Kabab Feast and their Falafel plate takeaway for four people. Massive amounts of food! We got them with rice and Greek Salad sides. The beef and chicken Kabab meat were very tender and flavorful. The Falafel was similarly excellent. The rice was fluffy and delicious and the Greek salad was very fresh with olives, chopped onions, tomatoes, bell peppers cucumbers and feta cheese and dressing on the side. We all ate our fill and had more then half a container of rice and salad left. Sauces and hummus were wonderful. Only complaint was the pita bread was on the stale side; but did freshen up wonderfully after 30 seconds in the microwave. Otherwise, in our opinion, the quality and flavor puts Vendetta Rossa in the top tier of Mediterranean restaurants in the South Bay. This is strictly a take-out establishment.

JUST GO!!!!! You will be delighted. I saw the great reviews and didn't read everything carefully so did not realize that it was just take out. We were going to make a big mistake as we wanted to go out for diner but my gf said we should just take it home. Everything was amazing and the care in the preparation was top quality - I saw that he used an instant read thermometer at least 10 times to check the temp. The hummus was the best I have ever had and the kabobs were all perfect. Even the salad and dressing were spectacular. Go and you will truly enjoy everything!

Food is ok, something you can do at home for less price and more. Its only a take out place. Prices not that great. The green olive 🫒 has same plates with lot of food at below 20 prices. But I get it...you make it from "scratch" poor you in the hot kitchen with your chef 👨‍🍳 suit and hat swearing for poor little old us 😢
