Everything was great in general, Elena and Anastia were attentive and really nice. However the food came cold and we had to return it twice, and even had it change, but everything was good in general. Should the kitchen improve we will come back soon!

Great food. Bread is amazing... hot & fresh. We had the ox and the sea bass. Both very good. Ox was especially good, melted in your mouth.

We arrived late and too tired to enter the city to look for food so we decided to eat at the Bankside's hotel restaurant. The Candyflossmopolitan was good. We tried the pork terrine as a starter and I enjoyed it. The butternut squash and goat cheese gnocchi were outstanding. We also sampled the pavlova, the passion fruit brulee, and the chocolate tart for dessert. Overall the experience was good, if a little overpriced. If you're in the area I would certainly recommend eating here. The breakfast buffet (not pictured) is outstanding.

It was a wonderful experience dining indoors! The food was perfectly flavorful, drinks on point and the service impeccable! Nicola our barman was very courteous to prepare an impressive drink our request that was off the menu. Jasper is an amazing person, not just a server but a host who knows how to entertain. Went with my sister and had a great great time!!

Classy restaurant very close to Blackfriars station. We came here immediately prior to going to the Globe Theatre, which is nearby. The restaurant has a classy atmosphere, helpful (sharp suited) staff, good food. Couldn’t believe how empty it was. Get here before it gets too busy! They were really helpful knowing we had to leave on time. Thanks.

Great proof, with great buffet and a la crate options. Amazing coffee and freshly squeezed juices. Atmosphere is lovely, with lots of light and a cozy environment. Friendly service and great to work whilst here. There’s restaurant, bar and coffee area, depending on what you’re looking for. Easy access for wheelchairs and child friendly (although it is a quite space).

OK, I've only been in here briefly so the 5⭐ is provisional but I've been really impressed so far. A great and creative cocktail (their "Swedish sour", pictured) and a really tasty snack - "Halloumi bravas" - which I wolfed down before getting a photo. Definitely going to make a point of coming back when I've some more time! A well presented bar, chic decor and comfortable seating, attentive and professional staff. Love it!

I came for dinner with my friend and we love the food. Our waiter Alex was very kind and nice he even advised us to go to see the art exhibition at the gallery. I will come again the food is amazing

The best nightcap after a day on the South Bank. We stopped by Art Yard Bar for a nightcap (or two) on Saturday night and it was lovely. A shout out to bar manager Apo who made us the best espresso martinis. This is a friendly, artsy bar just off the South Bank and a two minute walk to Blackfriars station to get back home after a long day sightseeing. A hidden gem.

I was here for breakfast as I was staying at the hotel. I don’t typically eat at hotel restaurants as I don’t usually enjoy the quality of meals. However, it was convenient at the time. I will say I was impressed with the service and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful options to choose from. The interior is lovely and has a classy vibe. Highly recommend.

The salmon is delicious and tender. Chicken breast and pea shoots are super tender together. I really like this delicious food.

Don't quite understand the low ratings, this place needs to be way higher. Really nice cocktails (we had an espresso martini and a passion fruit martini), good decor and vibe, although the service could be a bit quicker. The food was the main highlight. We had a chanterelle tortellini, cod, fries, broccoli and hispi cabbage. Every dish was very good. The portions were rather small and it was full priced so the value for money could be better but the cooking and the sauce was excellent. Overall this place should deserve a 4.4 or 4.5 rather than a 4.2.

I had walked past this restaurant so many times. Finally decided to meet a friend here for dinner and it was delightful. Scallops with parsnip purée is one of my favourite dishes and there's was amazing. And we had a number of other delicious small dishes were delicious. I also really loved the service and atmosphere. Ill definitely go back.

Dinner in the tastefully designed Art Yard Bar & Kitchen in Bankside Hotel was a lovely experience. Staff is very welcoming and attentive and the food options are interesting and creative. My friend chose the vegetarian option and I the vegan one, which both tasted yummy and looked amazing. Will definitely go back.

We dined here with our young children and had a fantastic experience. The interiors are stylish, the food was exceptionally tasty, and the service was excellent. The team were brilliant with our boys, they were given a kids’ colouring pack that kept them entertained and taught them some colour theory, whilst enjoy our meal. Highly recommend this place!

I had a really nice meal here. The dishes are quite creative and feel a bit different from the usual places. Our server was very friendly, explained the menu with patience and answered all our questions about the ingredients. It was a relaxed and enjoyable dinner overall. The only thing is that the payment process at the end was a bit messy. It felt like the staff were not very used to the checkout system yet, so it took a while and didn’t feel super professional. But in general I still think this is a pretty good restaurant and I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Everything was good. This is located in a small courtyard and it is a very cozy nice place in the back. The décor and the service were great, the food and coffee came really quickly, great quality overall. This is a bit pricey but the food quality deserves it! Nice for a romantic dinner!

The food was tasty but salty. Heavy on the sauces and dressing so I would ask for it on the side if you’d like a lighter salad. Schnitzel Caesar salad had a giant chicken cutlet, which was pretty great and the Arancini had peas .

I was a bit unsure about going for dinner here as there were mixed reviews but we had a great experience. We had a deal to go here so booked before going to a show. The service was impeccable. Everything came very promptly after ordering and was delicious. I would highly recommend getting the layered dripping drips. We were tempted to get another portion but we were stuffed. Definitely a bummer that they only serve beer in 2/3 pints but something to work on. After paying we were offered a tour of the hotel by the maitre de and we were very impressed by the decor and mezzanine space. I think this place has a lot going for it and I look forward to seeing how it does!

This place was the restaurant and bar inside my hotel. I never had the opportunity to have a meal here but I did enjoy two drinks at the bar one late evening. The decor is very nice and the bartender was pleasant. My only complaint is that the drink prices are on the higher end and they add an automatic service charge. There is no background or live music.

The beef tartare is pretty good and the truffles fries were decent. Not sure about the cod, but lamb was decent.

The staff in this place are incredible. Kim was super helpful, chatting me through drinks that weren’t even on the menu. The chorizo croquettes were amazing, as there the dumplings and paella. Wish I could give it 5 stars, just a couple of the dishes weren’t quite as well seasoned as I would have hoped.

Went for a group work dinner. The food was delicious and the options were great for mixes of dietary requirements. The only strange blip was the servers couldn't seem to get a handle on the sides ordered - kinds of chips. One server even started an argument with someone at the table as she was adamant he was wrong about what he ordered. However half our table heard him order correctly. It was quite grating to have the server start an argument over fries and certainly cut through an otherwise pleasant evening. I'd still go back, but it was a very strange moment.

Lovely design and decor, but very quiet when we arrived for late lunch on a Friday which should have been a warning side. Menu had decent options and food ok, sauce for the ravioli was slightly too thick. Service was poor. Everyone was polite but given an almost empty restaurant no attention to detail. Brought my guest the wrong cocktail, took a long time to correct order. We had to ask for her drink, which was odd as the bar was not busy, very few other customers dining. Brought the wrong drink again! Third time lucky, they brought the right drink by which time we were almost finished our mains. Asked if we wanted tea/dessert when they took our plates and we asked if they could come back in 10 mins, no one came back .... A different waitress brought our bill, we made the exceptional request to have service removed from the bill, which they did, but no one asked why.

Fantastic looking place with amazing interior design. Quiet and with flexible space it's ideal for a coffee, remote work or lunch. People are very friendly and welcoming and there is a possibility to have a bigger lunch or a big meeting there. Food is okay, could be more flavourful.

John was my waiter, when he gave me the food, he had just pickd his nose. Unhygenic, the food was good though, maybe the taste of bogie was good flavor :(

The Art Yard Bar & Kitchen was a let down. They stop making most of their menu at 9pm and force customers onto a bar menu that has very few options The burger was pretty bland; the chips (fries) tasted like they were frozen and not hand-cut. My beer was not very cold. Our waitress disappeared by 9:30 and we had to keep asking other staff members for things. Wouldn't go back, and wouldn't recommend.

Very poor service. We got seated, no one got us a menu to look at, just asked us what we wanted to order. We did not feel welcome at all. Food is quite expensive for what you are getting. The squid linguine only had 1 prawn in it. Would not recommend!!!

We had a deeply disappointing experience at the restaurant, largely due to the poor management. We had a reservation for 4:30 PM and noticed that the restaurant was nearly empty upon our arrival. However, we were told that we couldn't sit at one of the sofa tables for three because they were "unsure" about a booking for 7 PM, despite there being a two-hour gap. This situation left us feeling quite uncomfortable, especially since we had specifically chosen this restaurant. To make matters worse, around 6 PM, two other patrons were seated at those same sofa tables that we were told we couldn’t have, which felt like a clear case of unfair treatment. I felt compelled to speak with the manager about our experience, but his response—“I’m sorry to make you feel bad, but that’s not my intention”—didn’t address our concerns. Quite frankly, it left us wondering if the decision to not give us the sofa table was due to racism, since it was later given to someone else. To top it off, I ordered the same dish that I’ve had before, but the portion was surprisingly small. This whole experience felt tainted by unprofessional booking practices and a lack of respect for our group. It's disheartening to feel bullied in such a manner.
