Amazing food. Popped in for breakfast after my Neko Body Scan (see my review on that!!!). The service was excellent and the food - don’t even. It’s so good. I got the salted butter French Toast and, while I’m sure I shouldn’t have, I ate it all up! Coffee is great (Cappuccino) and the atmosphere delightful and quiet. (Albeit on Tuesday morning).
Always good and solid menu. I like the specials which are very good value for money. Our favourite is the steak fritte Today we tried the sirloin steak. Very good. My chardonnay is delicious. I miss the seafood casserole from the menu. Used to be my favourite
Great place for dinner, also great options for gluten free. Gluten free complimentary bread was the best I’ve tried so far and staff was very accommodating for my allergy. Dishes are tasty and desert (chocolate mousse) was lovely. Thank you!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at this café! The desserts and coffee were absolutely delicious, and we celebrated my sister’s birthday here today. The staff went above and beyond to make everything look special and festive, and they were warm and friendly the entire time. A huge thank you to Boris and Patrick for making the day so memorable! Highly recommend this place.
I truly enjoyed the food—it was absolutely delicious! The staff made the experience even better with their warmth and friendliness, especially Beata, who really stood out. It was such a pleasure to be there.
Patrick and his team tonight were amazing. Great customer skills. And would definitely come back for more.
Don’t leave London without trying the crème caramel at Côte 🍮 ! It’s so smooth and absolutely delicious trust me, it’s too good to share 💛
Food, ambience and service by Hassan was great! Had a lovely time. Highly recommend.
Very nice place, everything was perfect. The manager, Robert, was amazing – very welcoming and professional. The place itself was lovely, and the service was just right. Highly recommend
The best crème caramel I’ve ever had! It reminded me of the homemade one my mom makes
The cream caramel was so delicious and the juice was very normal and the rest of food. I tried it before it’s very good and delicious.
Cote is like an old friend: reliable, welcoming and always good value, especially the Prix Fixe menu which is a total bonus within this pricey area of London. And eating al fresco on a warm May evening was even better!
i came late at the time of close for a famous cream caramel but zozo was there and she was very kind and lovely , thank u zozo for ur service nice to meet u and it was a delicious cream caramel 🫶🏻
5 stars! Dharti staff and manager Casey were welcoming. My friend and I appreciate Dharti's wonderful service, and how she refilled our hot drinks during our visit last week.We enjoyed the delicious food, lovely ambience and the excellent service at COTE Hay's Galleria! Thank you very much!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cote and I would like to take a moment to commend Patrick the manager who served us, for providing truly exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, Patrick was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. His positive attitude, genuine smile, and enthusiasm made the entire dining experience feel special. Patrick went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—he was always nearby when we needed something, yet never intrusive. It’s rare to meet someone who combines such professionalism with warmth and sincerity. He made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Please pass along my heartfelt appreciation to Patrick. He is a wonderful representative of Kote’s hospitality, and his outstanding service truly enhanced our visit. Thank you again for a wonderful experience! I really recommend this place! Thank you very much, Ina
A New Years Eve experience worth the effort. Asia made sure we felt like royalty. Food was superb, service second to none by one of the newest team members, Asia. We're regular visitors to this venue but tonight was exceptional with a superb menu and an ambience hard that would be to beat.
I had an amazing experience at the restaurant, thanks to Patrick! He was very friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and Patrick truly made us feel welcome. It’s always great to meet someone who clearly loves what they do and treats every guest with care. Highly recommended!
We had such a wonderful evening at Côte in St. Christopher’s Place, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Patrick. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Patrick struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth – always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. He made great recommendations, ensured everything arrived promptly, and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for us. You could really tell he cared about making sure we had a lovely dining experience. The food was fantastic as always, but it was Patrick’s excellent service that truly stood out and made our visit memorable. Thank you, Patrick – we’ll definitely be back!
Amazing experience! The food was delicious. Hassan was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you Côte
Had an amazing experience at cote brassiere my waitress Fatima was exceptional and very helpful all through the meal. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who fancy’s French cuisine. 10/10.
We had a really enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious, and the service throughout was excellent. Mohammad was particularly outstanding, attentive, friendly, and made us feel very well looked after. The lady manager was also fantastic and ensured everything was perfect for us. Despite there being several dinner parties happening at the same time, the whole team worked seamlessly to give us a great evening. Overall, a truly lovely experience. We’ll definitely be back.
I took my mum here for her birthday, she loved it. I loved it. They put candles on her dessert and sang her happy birthday. It was so sweet. The servers were amazing. Hassan looked after us most of the night. Thank you for a great experience!
The French onion garlic fougasse was delicious, and the unlimited chips light and crispy. All the staff were great. Côte has a quiet and quaint atmosphere. Caters well to allergies
My partner and I had such a wonderful experience today. We thought Zu nd Asia are wonderful, highly skilled, professional, very friendly, they made our experience fantastic, and the food tasted divine, with a couple of gluten-free options, and very respectful towards coeliacs. Thank you to Zu, Asia, all our other great servers and the kitchen team. We both would highly recommend and I feel that we would love to visit again.
We had a great meal this evening. The seabass was the best I’d ever eaten. My child had the steak frites amd dessert of lemon sorbet - from the childs menu - all of which tasted excellent too. We wiped all the plates clean. Hassan provided us with excellent service. He explained the menu and was very helpful. We explained on ordering our food that we were in a hurry due to school tomorrow and the restaurant served our amazing food in very good time.
A huge shoutout to Divya, the amazing manager who truly makes this place shine. She’s constantly on the move — welcoming guests with a warm smile, checking that everything runs perfectly, and ensuring every customer feels special. It’s incredible how attentive and dedicated she is; it almost feels like she’s running the entire restaurant single-handedly! Thanks to her hard work and professionalism, our visit was flawless from start to finish. The breakfast was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere so inviting. Côte Brasserie at St. Christopher’s Place is definitely one of the best spots in London — and Divya is a big reason why. Thank you for such a beautiful experience — we’ll definitely be back!
We visited Cote St Christophers Place before going to the theatre to see Paddington. We had a lovely welcome from the manageress, Laura who recognised us from previous visits. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Food is excellent and good value and staff all very friendly. We will definitely visig again, when we're next in London.
First thing first, the food is amazing. If you get a chance have the twice baked souffle, it was absolutely amazing. The salmon dish was cooked perfectly. Never been to Cote before and can't deny the food is great. The location is easy to get to and it almost feels secluded from the rest of London which is nice. The only downside the the lunch was that the service wasn't as good as it could've been. Tried making our order and paying for it but couldn't get anyone's attention for ages. Once again, the food is amazing.
A great experience in a truly restorative environment. Everything was perfect, and the service—especially by Dharti—was excellent; she is a very kind and welcoming person. The food arrived quickly, and we tried the crème caramel as well as breakfast, both of which were delicious.
I would like to express my appreciation to Hassan for his exceptional service today. He was extremely polite, attentive, and professional. Thank you, Hassan!
We had a range of dishes. The Steak Tartare was amazing, especially with the different ingredients bringing a fresh and tangy flavour which keeps you wanting more. The other meals included the French Onion soup, calamari, fish type meal and chicken meal. The overall experience was delightful.
Overall a pleasant lunch. We asked for a larger table but was told the restaurant was fully booked so not possible. As lunch proceeded it was obvious that it certainly wasn't, if you choose the chicken to share you will struggle on the small tables. Prices were fair considering its location.
We ordered caramel and crème brûlée along with an Americano. The caramel was delicious and is considered one of their best sellers. The Americano was fine, nothing special. However, the service was poor and the staff were not friendly. The prices are overpriced compared to the service and the place. I will not repeat the experience again
Cote always offers good value when you stick to the ‘prix fixe’ menu. I have eaten here 5 or 6 times recently and although the food is consistently good, the service is not the most welcoming. The service feels like they are doing everything they need to and nothing more. There is nothing to complain about but a warmer greeting and a little more effort during service would be welcomed.
Food 3-4 out of 5: The food was pretty good overall. Pretty decent for the price! The portions for the chicken liver pate could have offered more bread as there was a surplus of pate but not enough bread. Service: The service was fine overall. Not the worst, but not the best either. It was a very middle of the road experience. We did feel that the time it took inbetween our mains and our starters did take a bit longer than we would have liked. Overall, it was fine though. Atmosphere: the place was clean, well decorated and designed. The outside spots are a nice bonus and people all seemed like they were having a good time.
It’s an average spot located all around London, the food was good, I will recommend the burger and the cream caramel. One of the workers was using the toilet before me he went out and did not wash his hands, few minutes I saw him serving food to the table next to me. I was shocked.
Everything we ate was meh (for lack of better words), I would even go ahead and say the prawn appetizer was not good at all. I wouldn’t return or advise anyone to go. Apart from the bland food, the staff were nice and the atmosphere was cozy. Our bill came out 59 £ for everything seen in the pictures as well as a glass of wine. There is an optional 12.5 percent gratitude they add on that you can request to be removed ( I didn’t which is why it added up to 59). although I don’t like this tactic, the staff were nice and I was going to add it anyways.
I love Cotes, we have enjoyed many branches for years but this was my first time here. Lots of staff and just a few customers yet felt like we had to keep calling staff over for assistance. Once ordered the food delivered was lovely although took a bit of time. Had Prawns to start which were delicious and perfectly cooked, the Pork belly also lovely, had the Lemon Tart for dessert which came with a creme brulee like sugar top which wasn't burnt properly and was over sweet, so switched to chocolate fondant which was just ok. Went to pay and whilst handing over cash was told only card payment accepted, told there's a sign on the door and on the menu, checked both could not see either!! Luckily had a card but didn't appreciate the back and forth at time of payment. Overall not my favourite branch, missed the usual warm welcome and great service we are used to at our branch in Muswell Hill.
Unimaginably mediocre. We got 2 sirloin steaks - which took over an hour. The first steak was practically still breathing from how raw it was (we asked medium). The second was a bit pitiful and small. The bearnaise sauce had no taste whatsoever, genuinely felt like dipping my steak in water. All of this for the small price of £75! I’d rather have a meal deal from Tesco.
A restaurant known for its crème caramel. Unfortunately, the service was very poor, and even the crème caramel itself was disappointing — I had expected it to be much better. I would rate it 5 out of 10. The restaurant has several branches across London. I recommend sitting outdoors, as the outdoor seating is more enjoyable.
Visited this restaurant for my birthday yesterday and was very unimpressed. The staff were lovely but the food was awful value for the money we paid. We ordered the “Cote Breakfast” which was below average and a regretful meal out. Won’t be returning here again.
Very frustrating experience at Côte tonight. The service started off well but gradually deteriorated as the evening went on. By the end, my friend was left waiting almost 30 minutes for dessert, which was simply ice cream. We eventually decided to cancel it and ask for the bill instead. While the management did apologise and offered a discount on the bill, overall it wasn’t a great experience.
1/10 – Very disappointing experience, especially for families I had a very poor experience at Côte St Christopher’s Place, and unfortunately I won’t be returning. The food was decent but nothing special, and the options for children were extremely limited. I ordered pasta for my baby, and what arrived was a hot plate with cold pasta. I sent it back, the staff apologised, and they brought a new one—same issue again: hot plate, cold pasta. The pasta itself looked like it had been cooked well in advance, not fresh at all. After sending it back a second time, my baby ended up eating nothing. The waiting time was completely unacceptable—almost 1.5 hours from the starter to the main course. For a family meal, that’s simply not workable. Overall, I’d rate the experience 1 out of 10. Even being generous, it might reach a 3 at best. If you’re dining with children, I’d strongly recommend staying away—this place was a complete shambles. And of course, you get the usual automatic “we apologise for the inconvenience” response, but that doesn’t really fix anything. They’ll never see me again.
We visited this restaurant on Mother’s Day for a quick lunch. There were four of us plus a toddler, and while the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, the atmosphere inside felt quite dull—there was no music or energy to make the experience more enjoyable. We ordered from both the regular menu and the set menu. The starters were average at best, but the main courses were a real disappointment considering the prices. I ordered the fillet steak, which cost £33, and it arrived with only a few fries and a sprinkle of parsley on the side—definitely not worth the price. I had also ordered a side of broccoli, but the portion was so small that even the manager was surprised and offered us another one free of charge. To make matters worse, I never received my peppercorn sauce, and since no one came to check on our meals, I didn’t get the chance to ask for it. The service was quite slow; we waited a long time for both our main courses and desserts. Overall, the food was below average, and for the prices they charge, I expected much better. It was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t rush back.
Please do not go here waited half an hour for some average bread with a few onions thrown on top of it, got main course then and my vegetarian steak was absolutely singed and tasted awful, endless fries is also a complete lie as even on a quiet Sunday with one other table in the place there was no effort to even attempt to top up the plate, service was shite overall very bad
Told them my daughter had nut allergy. After she ate desert, she complained about itching in her mouth. Turned out they had forgotten to remove nuts from the desert ingredients. Still we payed full price, including service charge. Very disappointing and amateur level.
Very poor service and food. We had several missing items from our meals and the quality of food was poor. My mum's Salmon Béarnaise was missing new potatoes, my wife's meal was missing fries and her fable mushrooms were wet and rubbery. My burger was burnt to carbon, and we asked several times for more fries for the table, but no one brought any. I can only assume the kitchen was completely understaffed, otherwise, I don't know how meals could make it out of the kitchen with missing items. The service staff as well didn't seem to recognise the meals were incomplete, meaning they don't know the menu.
I have eaten at Cotes , in different locations for some time now. Tonight (Valentines as well) was of the worst experinces I have had in a restaurant. We arrived at 1850 as we had booked. All went well and.ww received out first course and drinks in good time. But both starters were missing the sourdough bread. Then came an hour wait for the mains. Not once during this hour did anyone approach us to apologise/ offer refills or any kind of interaction. I had to go to the bar to order my drink refill. Of note is the couple next to use when we had sat down had requested more fries as this was included in the free flowing fries deal. For 50 mins they tried and were eventually told by an embarrassed waiting staff that the chef- upon his request had told him to f off!!! At 2025 we eventually got out mains, I was served cold chips and asked for a refresh where the manageress did not even apologise and dropped them to me. We decided it was so awful we would not have the desserts and go else where. I asked for the bill, the bill was presented with the service charge- I asked for the bill without the service chatge and the shift manager snatched the receipt and stormed off to get another receipt. I paid left. I have always looked forward to Cotes- good value, tasty simple food but well done. Usually as in there restaurants i use in Chiswick, Richmond and Esther the highest of service as well. This was awful, I actually felt ripped off.
Just left your restaurant in St Christopher’s Place and what a complete shambles with false advertising. Sold to the two of us a steak with ‘free flowing fries’ which were anything but free flowing! 30 min wait for extra fries which were apparently included, to be told the chefs basically told the waiter it was not possible as they were too busy? Sorry but then you refund your customers if you cannot offer what they ordere! The waiter himself couldn’t be more apologetic and said they were overwhelmed because the manager was letting in walk-ins despite the staff not being able to cope. Complete false advertising, sold a ‘free flowing’ meal which was not provided. I am demanding a 50% refund of the total bill (£115.61), which I paid under protest as per UK legislation, within the next 48 hours. Otherwise this will be further escalated to trading standards and a chargeback will be made with my bank for the FULL VALUE due to false advertising. This is by no means a a reflection on the waiter who couldn’t have been any more apologetic. Hence why we did not dispute his service charge
Food was fine and probably would have been very nice if our experience wasn't soured by the absolutely appalling service. A server didn't come to our table once without us having to flag them down. We ordered more fries and waiting 30 minutes before they arrived. Then ordered some more fries and waited another 30 minutes before we gave up and got the bill. As we were paying we asked what happened and the server told us the kitchen had closed. If this was the case why did they take our order. And why didn't they tell us the food wasn't coming - we were waiting for 30 minutes! Similar story just getting water for the table - had to flag someone down and ask, then again, then again before anyone brought anything to the table. Truly shocking. I didn't expect 5-star service, but any service at all would have been nice. Removed service charge. Won't be going to any Côte again.
