I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the season omakase and it was phenomenal. Great flavors, beautiful presentation and a good amount of food. The confit sea bass was one of the best bites of food that I’ve had in a while. Service was good and staff were all quite friendly. The space is also quite beautiful. Prices are a bit on the high side if you order à la carte. The omakase felt like a good value, though.
This is my first time experience here but I been twice in Nobu Bangkok From the moment I stepped into Nobu, I knew I was in for something special, but what truly elevated the experience from great to unforgettable was the incredible service by stuff . The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a masterclass in flavor and presentation. Each bite was fresh, thoughtfully crafted, and unmistakably Nobu. Recommend sweet doughnuts I’m not sure about the name but doughnuts is so good my boyfriend he don’t like fish and very sensitive with fish but here he can eat them all
Cannot believe these mixed reviews, we had an absolutely extraordinary experience at the Nobu Sunday Brunch 🥢🍣🍤 We booked for 2:30 which turned out to be perfect, as all food is filled up constantly and we never had to wait to help ourselves. It did not at any point feel to busy or crammed. The DJ provided for a fun atmosphere. The handrolls are made to order, jalapeño yellowtail, crispy rice, the iconic tacos, nigiri, maki and more! Everything tasted super fresh, and the offer of the mains and dessert bar too felt generous. Although the brunch is set at £90 + additional service charge, we felt like we made up for it plenty with the amount of high quality sushi we got out of it.
Love love loved this. We came for the bottomless sushi brunch and it did not disappoint. With salmon being the star of the show. The sashimi was pure butter with it melting in your mouth. It was clear that the fish was so fresh and the flavours were exquisite. The yellowtail was also a hit with the jalapeños, it had such a citrusy taste and it worked so well with the yellowtail to make the perfect bite. All of the rolls were made fresh at the sushi station and you have to try the hand rolls if you have the chance to visit. The sushi taco station was incredible. The crispy rice gave the perfect crunch when paired with the salmon and tuna. Although it is quite an expensive experience it is not one to miss everything was so fresh and for all of the food you get it is definitely worth it. The details made the experience so special with the waiters constantly topping up water and taking away old plates gave it that extra special touch. The mains were also exceptional, I’d recommend the black cod miso it melted in the mouth and the flavours worked so well together. The salmon teriyaki was also delicious as well as the beef toban which came with a show the beef was extremely tender and the mushrooms and veggies were delicious along with the meat. The dessert counter was also a hit, there were so many different fruits, buns mini cakes they had everything you could have wished for. The apple shaped bun was on of my favourites it was filled with a creamy apple sauce and it was incredibly cute as it was shaped as an apple. I’d also recommend the pistachio madelines which were full of flavour. I also opted for an amaretto sour and it was pure cherry. It was such a delicious drink I’d highly recommend this whether you’re going for the brunch or simply hitting the bar. The atmosphere was perfect, the music was the perfect vibe for the Sunday brunch and although it was relatively busy you could still hear each other. If you’re looking for a fancy sushi brunch this is definitely the spot in London all details were incredible and the food was exceptional.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and from start to finish the experience was amazing 🎉. Huge thanks to Natalia Sunne for arranging the reservation and setting everything up for the birthday surprise 🎂🥂. We were seated at a comfy table overlooking the restaurant and the chefs working in the kitchen 👨🍳🔥. Our waiter, Mr. Salvatore G, was not only super knowledgeable but also very friendly and entertaining 🙌 — really made the evening special. For food, we went with the Classic Omakase (£125pp) and couldn’t be happier with the choice 🍣✨. Every dish was an absolute delight, and the champagne + cocktails were top-notch 🍾🍸. The ambience, music, and crowd — exactly what you’d expect at Nobu: top level 👌. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend to friends and family ❤️.
I had breakfast at the Nobu restaurant as part of my stay. Must say their offerings from the menu were delicious (see photos)! Scrambled Tamago with Avocado (I asked for mine without eggs). This in the jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious. I also had the pistachio and matcha croissant from the buffet which was also yummy.
An indulgent experience with the finest food served to us. We ordered the yellow fin sashimi and chicken wings as our starters. (see photos below) The sashimi still has me in a chokehold, and wondering when I can next indulge in it.. Rock shrimp tempura with three condiment sauces, as well as succulent and juicy pork belly with a dollop of spicy wasabi, served by friendly and organized waiting staff. The restaurant was cozy and illuminated with soft ambient lighting throughout. The music wasn’t deafening so as to allow for comfortable conversation. I also liked that there was a fair distance between our table and the neighboring one(s) to ensure some level of privacy. Over all I’d rate I 15/10! Freshly prepared, authentic and high quality Japanese food; a definite must try!
At Nobu, even the pickiest eater finds their role in the perfect story…. Our evening at Nobu felt like stepping into the kind of film that lingers in your memory long after the credits fade. It was my first time walking into this world, a picky eater with more doubts than cravings, yet within minutes I was pulled into the story. As a vegetarian, dining out often feels like being cast in the wrong role sitting at the table, but never quite fitting into the script. But at Nobu, every dish felt written for me, a 10/10 performance where flavors didn’t just satisfy they surprised. The heroine of our night was our waitress, a gracious soul from Nepal. With quiet confidence, she guided us through the menu like a director pointing toward the perfect shot. Each recommendation was a revelation, each plate a scene more beautiful than the last. My wife, already a long-time fan of Nobu, smiled knowingly as if she’d been waiting for me to see the magic all along. In a final act of serendipity, we offered our Nepalese guide a small jar of Surinamese spice peppers an exchange of cultures, flavors, and gratitude. A symbolic gift, sealing the night like a closing frame that says more than words ever could. We walked out certain of one thing: this was not just a dinner. This was the beginning of a story we’d gladly return to, again and again.
Food was great - as usual - but portions small. Very loud restaurant, mostly due to conversations rather than music. Take that as you will. Service is okay, maybe a little slow. Overall remains expensive even if you don’t order alcohol.
Wow, I actually went on my own as my hotel was close by. Rita was the manager and really helped me choose the dishes that best suited me. The flavours and whole experience was incredible. You can sit and watch the chefs creating the food. I'll definitely go back. Highly recommend.
First visit. Nice entrance to first floor restaurant. Didn’t go to Terrace but there’s a Bar /Terrace outside dining area! We chose our food from a la Carte Menu. The crispy mushroom salad was tasty. The black cod croquettes nice. Soft shell crab sushi was ok but I’ve had better. Cod was small so if sharing it’s not enough. A fab evening. You can see the square from window seats so it’s nice. Service good. A nice birthday experience
Review of Nobu Restaurant Portman Square – A Culinary Masterpiece Dining at Nobu Restaurant Portman Square was an unforgettable experience—so much so that we went twice. From start to finish, everything was executed to perfection. The atmosphere has a sleek, almost futuristic feel, but in a warm and inviting way that makes you want to stay and savor every moment. We had the manager guide us through the best drinks and courses, and his recommendations were absolutely spot on. Every dish was a masterpiece—beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced. The food was nothing short of incredible, making every bite feel indulgent and worth the price. The service was just as exceptional. The staff was incredibly attentive, always refilling water and delivering dishes seamlessly. There was no waiting between courses, which made the entire dining experience feel smooth and well-paced. Yes, it’s expensive—but for the level of quality, service, and experience, it’s worth every penny. Nobu Portman Square is a must-visit for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in London. Can’t wait to return!
Went for my partners birthday and we both loved it so much, great food and all the staff were so lovely, will definitely be going back :)
Best sushi I've ever had in my life, and very welcoming service (they don't discriminate against first-time and middle class guests, they welcome everyone with equal warmth. They gave me my table early, as soon as I arrived) . The yellowtail jalapeño is incredible. The black cod miso is also worth the splurge. A real treat.
Finally got the chance to dine at the hyped Nobu, and all I can say is that it lived up to its high expectations. This restaurant is a fast food restaurant that did not let the quality suffer, don't get me wrong, it's not fast food. Each dish is meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients, but it comes out exceptionally fast. The atmosphere is great and the staff was lovely. Some dishes that I recommend are: the fried rice cubes (get all three sauces), the sashimi in yuzu sauce, prawn tempura and for dessert don't forget to have a mocchi or two. The hanami negroni was a fantastic floral twist on the classic cocktail that kept it fresh and sweet. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Japanese food. Yes it's on the expensive side but if you enjoy this cuisine, its definitely worth it.
Went here for dinner, the service was very good. I told them I had a shellfish allergy so they ensured I didn’t eat anything that had shellfish, I appreciate that. We mainly ate vegetarian food, it was so good!!! Loved the salads, we got a spinach salad and an avocado salad. The avocado sushi was also really nice, we weren’t a big fan of the vegetable sushi tho. I highly recommend getting the mochi donuts and mango cheesecake for dessert!!! It was so good!!! We’re definitely going to come back for some more.
We came for the bottomless brunch for my friends birthday and it was definitely worth going to and experiencing!
An absolutely wonderful time for the Sunday brunch with kids and sharky& George - Halloween edition. The kids were entertained by professional party people and actually staid at the kids party. An extra social thank you to Dina, who overheard us congratulate my husband for his birthday and arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered.
We decided to celebrate the start of the summer holidays with our family. My children love Japanese cuisine so where better than to take them to Nobu. The last time I went to this restaurant it was still in Mayfair! The new location is definitely a lot better and it was easy to find street parking. The new venue is beautiful, and we were given a lovely table by the window. We decided to take the signature tasting menu with some complimentary dishes for the children. The food was well presented and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. We received a good selection of raw fish, cooked steak and black cod. For extras we ordered the ribeye steak, black cod croquettes, prawn tempura, spicy edemame and extra miss soups. We left happy and very satisfied. Most importantly the children were very grateful for an amazing (but very expensive) experience.
This nobu was louder than any other nobu i been to and i didnt think the waoter was very good or knowldgable. But food was great went there speical omakase here and it was great.
What a meal. From the first miso soup through sashimi, sushi and the black miso cod it was a perfect meal. The price point may be high, but the quality of the fish is out of this world. The tuna melted in the mouth and the portions were generous.
Nobu is Nobu, no introductions needed. We all know the food, we all love the food, but the Portman Square location is a bit more special in my opinion, the new modern a very well kept interior with large glass windows all around really adds to the experience. I love the atmosphere and absolutely love this location. Service is on point, no complaints, and having the rest of the Nobu Hotel amenities like the café and bar are definitely an added benefit.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Nobu, and honestly, it was simply wonderful. The atmosphere, the food, the service – it was all spot on. The sommelier was fantastic, recommending brilliant sake with our starters: we had the Tiradito scallop and Yellowtail Jalapeño to start, follow by sashimi, all were absolute delights. Then came the main event – an A5 Wagyu steak from Japan, and let me tell you, it was one of the best steaks we’ve ever tasted. So tender and full of flavour, and perfectly paired with a wine the sommelier suggested. Every bite was a dream! The waiting team were attentive and knew their stuff – they talked us through each dish, including all the ingredients, which really added to the experience. It felt like so much more than just dinner; it was a whole experience that we’ll remember for ages. I’d highly recommend Nobu, whether you’re celebrating something big, catching up with friends, hosting a business dinner, or just out to enjoy a great meal. They cater beautifully to all sorts of tastes and occasions. We’ll definitely be back! Till then our next visit will be at Nobu in NY so we’ll have something to compare to. Thank you Nobu’s Portman SQ team for making it such a special evening.
I’ve been to a few nobu restaurants and this one did not disappoint. As usual the black cod was superb, the chef made us a selection of sushi and sashimi which was incredible. I went for lunch which was a nice quiet time to go, I can imagine the dinner setting is lovely.
We appreciate that the staffs got us a table away from noisy crowds. We were seated further away from majority of the crowds but they remained super attentive throughout our lunch! As soon as I raise my head, a staff noticed immediately and came to our assistance right away, yes, the service is that good, even when they were full house during lunch hour. Overall, service was really fast, very attentive, friendly and staffs are knowledgeable about the menus, and accommodating to any allergy and preferences that we have. Food is as good as always. This will remain as my go-to Nobu branch in London.
Exceeded my wildest expectations! I've been to the Nobu Shoreditch, and while both of the restaurants have amazing food and excellent service, I found this restaurant better because of the large window to allows natural daylight, and at night gives you the city view. The restaurant knows exactly to balance the food they serve, it's perfectly balanced the quality of the food, the flavor with the sense of teasing your taste buds, and the presentation of the food. When one of the waiters served the food the main waiter came and was so sorry, and he corrected how the dish was supposed to be played out. I don' expect anything less than a 5 ⭐service from Nobu, and the staff was brilliant and welcoming. From the stewards at the main, your time at the restaurant until you leave: the staff where all smiling and made you welcomed. The restaurant is big and fit a lot of people, it's great that they made sure that the table were not stacked next to each other. Since this restaurant is quite popular they get packed really fast and the noise level becomes loude but luckily they don't have any loud music playing . We had the taster menu and each portion was a amazing, and great justiciation for the money you paid.
Thank you Giorgio for quality service! You were always patient whenever we asked the hundredth question and never forgot a single request despite it being quite busy. Also we didn’t get the name of the busser? Who came to bring out our food but he was full of life and so excited to present our food, saying “wow” as he came to our table. You were such a treat! Food was delicious and impeccable. All quality ingredients. We took our parents/in-laws and every dish was a new experience for them! We had medium-high expectations for this place and it surpassed them. We ordered: seasonal omakase (totally worth it), signature omakase, and some a la carte dishes you see in our photos. Things to def try: shrimp tempura, house special sushi, poissin (chicken) with truffle, and their dessert!! Fave was the green tea tiramisu. Thank you lovely hostesses and believe it was the manager who greeted us for being so kind from the moment we walked in. If you’re early for your reservation, it is worth having a drink at the beautiful lobby.
We had a Sunday brunch this time and it was really great, good sushi, salads and tacos and the cod fish was so good, always a signature dish. The most important to mention is that the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!
Worth the visit as a treat or special occasion. I went for the brunch and it was fantastic. you can def get your moneys worth there! We had a really nice and attentive server called Suraj K so made the experience all that better! They had a DJ too with mellow vibes to make it all that better! Desserts could be better but i see them as a bonus as i didnt go there to eat dessert but the huge selection of sushi and hot dishes. Miso cod 10/10, and the sashimi, crudos, and rolls were great! if you ask the chefs, theyw ill make you temaki rolls too with anything you like inside as long as its available.
Outstanding experience at Nobu Portman Square! The service was impeccable and the waiters were incredibly attentive, kind, and always available. They made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. A perfect combination of excellent food and exceptional service. Highly recommended!
Outstanding anniversary dinner at Nobu. This was my first time at Nobu but my partner visited before and I am so glad he took me there. Sushi was outstanding. Really enjoyed the pardon pepper and spicy edamame starter too. And the final cherry on the top was the chocolate bento, the best fondant I ever ate. So amazing 🤤 Our server Jomire took really good care of us, recommending great dishes. Her attention really made a difference. Would love to visit again. One nit: music was too much disco vibes, could be more tranquil.
I had an outstanding experience at Nobu, and Karina’s service was a major highlight. From the moment I was seated, she set a high standard with her professionalism, calm demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm for the menu. She guided the experience with confidence, offering thoughtful recommendations that really showcased her knowledge of the dishes and the flow of the meal. What impressed me most was how well she balanced attentiveness with subtlety—she was always available when needed but never intrusive. She anticipated needs before I even had to ask, whether it was pacing the courses perfectly or checking in at just the right moments. We also shared a brief but genuinely insightful conversation that added a nice human touch to the evening. It’s clear she takes pride in delivering not just good service, but a well-rounded experience. Karina elevates the Nobu standard even further. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm presence make her exceptional at what she does. I’d highly recommend requesting her if you want your visit to feel seamless, comfortable, and memorable.
Hey guys so I took my mother to nobu couple weeks ago. The atmosphere was incredible, the waiters were nice and me and my mum really enjoyed it. The food was very good and one thing I would like to say is their hospitality is second to none. Me and my mum were trying new things that we haven’t eaten before and obviously when your experimenting your not going to like everything, and for the food we didn’t eat Nobu knocked off £70 off the bill this was so lovely and honestly nice of them to do that, so really it’s just the thought that counts they really look after there customers, it’s a place I would recommend and I’d definitely give them a tip next time! So thanks Nobu!
Booked a table for me and my friend as two girlies to pre celebrate my birthday. Anyhow that’s not the point. On their website, it states that the dress code is smart/casual with no torn jeans flip flops around. I mean who in the right mind would wear flip flops in this kind of weather in london. My understanding was that you can still wear or dress reasonable. As we walked in for our dinner reservation approx around 8pm, there were people who were really underdressed. Sweaters jumpers trainers if even. I really felt like the atmosphere and where I was was simply an upscale of Wagamama’s at this point. Was awkward at one point. Regretted being ‘overly dressed’. Food EXCEPTIONAL. Photos show what we ordered and a shushi which I forgot to take a picture. The service was a bit too slow, had to wait for just around 30-40 mins since we ordered a dessert. I felt like the waiters were more attentive or busy with other guests which is fine. Will I come again for sure. The food was really good quality and I can see this place being a really good spot for a quick lunch but would definitely not recommend anyone coming here for a special occasions. It felt like there were more tourists or hotel guests who just booked for the sake of it. Overall the food was great but I would recommend anyone to attend wearing really casual clothes.
4 months ago I only just stepped out of this restaurant and the ambience is great! It's about a 10 mins bus ride from Euston station and 5 mins walk from Baker Street station. Very prime location with easy access to public transport. It's a hotel with restaurants, outdoor dining and lounges. The Nobu restaurant is located on the first floor. The food was so tasty especially the fish and tempura prawns, steamed rice and seafood soup all were yummy 😋 Am not too keen on their chicken wings! The staff were lovely and professional and very welcoming. Though a mistake was made on the bill, the manager effectively resolved it. It's great for seafood and sushi lovers especially 🙌🏽 The toilets are clean and nicely decorated with full length mirrors for selfie lovers lol They have a nice private dining space that can host about 26 people. It's an open plan with views into the kitchen. I would recommend a visit if you are a food explorer 😄
Food was just above average - Nothing really to shout about, this was a corporate sit down event so wasn't expecting the same level of quality as their main restaurant but nonetheless was expecting good flavours. The atmosphere is super corporate - could be any mid tier hotel based on the decor which is a let down for Nobu. Much prefer the Shoreditch venue.
The food is great. We got the omakases which comes with the signature black cod. The steak dish is meh; meat is not juicy and quite dry. The service is quite slow to refill water - we had to call the server many times. The dinner lasted for 2.5hr. Music and chitchat is very loud - almost like a night club.
Great food. Amazing service. Lovely ambience.
Excellent ambiance and service. The seafood and tomato ceviche were dishes of the day. Could improve on the sushi (which was fresh but a little too simple for my liking). Desserts were really good too, I suggest going for the chocolate sphere. Accommodated for gluten free, dairy free, and nut free. 8/10
Tried the £90 Sunday brunch menu and was disappointed. Limited selection, everything chopped into tiny pieces - colourful but too many flavours mixed together. Overall, expensive and not worth it; I’d recommend trying the à la carte menu instead.
I have been to NOBU all over the world and by far, this has been my least enjoyable experience. We were dryly greeted by the front attendant. Upon entry we realized that we had likely chosen the wrong nobu in London. The restaurant had the aesthetics of a hotel cafeteria. It was not high end. The seated patrons were casually dressed. The service was also mediocre at best. We felt rushed during our dining experience. We spent €126 for a tasting which included 2 Negronis, 2 extremely small appetizers and 2 entrees. We had to ask for the rice that was advertised as apart of the tasting. The salmon entree was flavorless and chicken entree was SALTY. I think this location and its service detracts from the elevated fine dining experience that NOBU usually purports.
I was really looking forward to @nobulondonportman but even though the hotel was really nice, the food was sadly disappointing. Fish was good quality but the sushi was mid, and my drinks never came throughout the dinner…unfortunately it wasn’t a one-off since it happened again at breakfast the next morning.
This was slightly underwhelming, especially when compared to the high level of fantastic sushi in London. The location is great, but the service was mediocre and the food very average. The yellowtail was great and the only standout of the night, the popcorn shrimp felt slightly under-fried/soggy and oily (although the sauces were delicious), the crispy rice tasted stale. The tartar and rolls were good, nothing to rave about albeit very fresh. Considering the prestige and price I would’ve expected more, I’ve had a better experience at other nobu locations
Nobu restaurant at Nobu Hotel stands out for its superior table settings and design compared to its Park Lane branch. However, the ambiance at Nobu Hotel, featuring loud music akin to a nightclub atmosphere, diminishes its suitability for business discussions. Regarding the cuisine, I find the dishes and designs at the Park Lane location more flavorful and memorable. Overall, while Nobu Hotel impresses with its aesthetics and table arrangements, its lively ambiance may not be ideal for professional business engagements.
The food is exceptionally good and the atmosphere is lively and full of energy. However, the hospitality falls short. Throughout the evening, the waitstaff seemed overly pushy about ordering more dishes, which made the experience feel a bit pressured. I also noticed that some tables received noticeably better service than others. It would be much better if guests were simply allowed to enjoy their meal at their own pace, with consistent service for everyone.
ordered a signature and a seasonal omakase. generally, the dishes were quite different from each other, although the nigiri had 2/4 pieces which were the same in both. the wagyu tacos were delicious, as was the cheesecake. the other dishes were ok, though some were a bit salty for my liking. the food overall was quite good. at this price point there are definitely better japanese restaurants to eat at, though i understand nobu is not traditional japanese cuisine. i was let down by the service, which was very slow. we waited around 30 minutes between being served our first bowl of edamame to being told that the sushi bar was slow tonight. our reservation was for 8:30 and we did not finish eating until 11pm. there was also the issue of a rather loud and disruptive table of girls behind us, who had brought their own light boxes for photography, which was constantly shining in my eyes, and honestly seriously disrupted my ability to enjoy my meal. a few of them has also kicked their shoes off to the side which was quite an unpleasant site when i am trying to eat. they were so loud that i struggled to hold a proper conversation across the table i understand that you can’t expect a restaurant to be silent, especially if people are celebrating. but making excessive loud noise, shining bright lights and leaving your shoes discarded beside your table with your bare feet out should be unacceptable as it disrupts the experience for other guests. 3* for the food, 1* for the service and atmosphere created by unpleasant guests
Not bad food but I'd say it was way too overhyped and overpriced for what it was. The signature starters, yellowtail jalapeno and Toro tartare with caviar were great. Good quality sashimi, ingredients generally complemented each other. However, there was no wow factor to it, especially if I was paying £36 for a few bites. The horseradish was overpowering in the tartare sauce. The chicken wings umami looked good, but damn those were unflavoured on the inside and dry. Would not recommend. We had the lamb and pork belly. They were generally quite good, but I'd say nothing stood out. They put too much wasabi on the pork belly and again, was too overpowering. Dessert was the famous bento box with chocolate fondant and green tea ice cream. That was beautiful, a great contrast of warm and cold, and a huge plus for the matcha used in the ice cream. Tastes divine. I wouldn't say it was bad food at all but I'd say it was overpriced for the meh quality, being £250 in total for 2 people. Service was decent but nothing that was memorable. Just better than what you would expect of rude Londoners in general.
Hi there, I’m from Canada and I eat a lot of sushi here and in other parts of the world. Ive only heard about Nobu and how great it is. Honestly I just cannot believe how over rated it is, I have gotten far better sushi for a much more reasonable price. I would personally never go back to a Nobu. The hype is just not worth it. The pictures attached are the miso cod which was the only thing that was very exceptional the rest was very basic. The sushi selection was an embarrassment.
Arrived at the restaurant at 2pm for a 2.30pm booked table for the bottomless brunch. Was told by the maître d that our table was not ready and that we could go down to the bar to have cocktails and they would let us know when it was ready. No one came to tell us that our table was ready so we had to go back upstairs to remind them that we had table. We then got seated and browsed the bottomless options. There was nothing to shout about. All the sushi tasted all very similar. I then asked for soy sauce from the waiter and they didn't leave it on the table like at all other high end sushi restaurants I have been to, treating it like some kind of hard commodity. I decided to take a look at their mains that are on the menu which you could order from the waiters. I ordered the salmon teriyaki and beef and they got the order wrong and gave me 2 fish dishes and took over 40 minutes to give me and my partner soft drinks. Service was so terrible even after spending £244 on a meal with drinks. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I found hair on the sushi at the sushi bar, which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant. Although the manager was present, there was no reaction or apology. I was the one who had to hand the contaminated sushi to your counter staff. Considering that we were charged £100+ (no wine included) per person for the Sunday Brunch, the hygiene standards were shockingly poor and it ruined the entire meal. For the price paid, I expected professionalism, cleanliness, and quality — none of which were delivered. In addition, we had to wait multiple times within the hour for food to be refilled, and the kitchen stopped serving certain items (such as hand rolls) during my dining time. I will not be returning to “Portman Square”, and I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. P.S. Would anyone really pay £100+ for sushi that looks like the one in the photo?
