Even the boring burger was not so boring! A burger how it should be. The burger patty was amazing very tasty and juicy and with some proper cheese melted on top. The bread bun was very fluffy and not too much. The salad was nice and fresh with olive oil and my little one’s chips were amazing too. Nice beer and milkshake as well.
We ordered the Red Leicester burger and the Ogleshield one - and both were very very good. I think the ogleshield (heard burger) was our favourite - the jalepeno was delicious and everything worked well together. I’m not usually a fan of smash burgers and this one was too thin for me too but the flavour was awesome! Really unique burger. I love the salad as well!! Delicious herbs and dressing. The chips were cooked to perfection too, no complaints.
Stopped by on a Monday around 18.30 and the place was practically empty. Cool little spot with seating options inside and out which was great. Tried both the boring burger and the heard burger, enjoyed them both. Tasty and full of flavour. Brioche bun does make it a little too sweet for me (personal taste) but they’re very good burgers. And the seasoned fries were excellent too. Will definitely return to try the other burgers on the menu!
The burger was incredibly juicy, rich in flavor, and absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. What really I liked is that they do offer halal beef patties upon request. The lady asked me if I wanted halal burger and this is very nice.
The best quality burger in London. We’ve eaten at Heard 5 times now with different groups of friends and every time we’ve finished every single bite of our burgers. Fries the same. We usually get 2 burgers each at other places but with the quality of the ingredients 1 has been enough for us. It’s really hard for everyone in a group to be satisfied with the food at a restaurant but these guys have managed it. Outside seating is great , restaurant is clean and toilets also clean. Very impressive overall. Prices are reasonable with burger fries and beer around 25£-30.
The Smokestack is a winner —juicy, smoky, and perfectly balanced. The patty’s char, the mature Leicester cheese, and balanced sauce that makes every bite satisfying, all held together by a bun that actually does its job. I want to try all the other burgers options! Shout out to Max, the friendly waiter who made the experience even better with genuinely warm service.
They called, I Heard! What a fantastic burger from two Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey. I had the Truffle Shuffle burger—meaty, juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. The Heard fries, cooked in beef fat and sprinkled with Parmesan, were unreal. My wife went for the Smoked Stack with Red Leicester (arguably the best burger cheese), smoked bacon jam, the Heard salad, and—of course—a few of my fries. They’ve taken over this great old spot with two beautiful mature trees growing through the building and added real flair. This place used to be a regular stop during my motorbike training days. Now it’s had a stunning refurbishment and is primed for sunny summer visits. Honestly? It’s the best burger I’ve had in London—easily up there with Truffle Burger. They even have our four legged friend here own smash patty. Absolute 5 stars. A must-try. We’ll be back!
I had a great experience here overall. The burgers are made to perfection. The ratio between the buns, double patties, and sauce is just right. Everything comes together without being too greasy, which I really appreciate. The service and ambiance are also excellent. Staff are friendly. The only letdown is the fries. They go too heavy on the salt. Still, I’d definitely come back!
Today was our first time having dinner at Heard Burger after hearing so many great things about it—and now we know why! A friend of ours highly recommended it, and we absolutely loved it! I ordered the Heard Burger, and it was fantastic. My 9-year-old daughter had the Boring Burger with extra pickles—she usually never finishes her food, but today she ate every bite, even the Ogleshield fries with cheese sauce and chopped pickles. So delicious! My husband went all out with Boring Burgers topped with extra caviar, plus the Truffle Burger—he couldn’t stop raving about them. The quality, flavors, and creativity really stand out here. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending Heard Burger to all my friends in London who are looking for an amazing burger experience!
One of the best burgers I ever had. Is not a gourmet burger type, if that is your thing, but if you like American style these smash burgers are incredible! Cheesy fries are pretty good as well.
The best burgers I’ve ever had!!! After being told by a customer in Norway that this is the best burger place in London me and my mom had to try when we got here. We ordered the burgers called «The Heard» and «Smoke Stack», as well as some side dishes and drinks, and everything was so fun to taste! The chef has done a really good job with the menu and combining different flavours that I would have never thought of! Most of all, the service was the best and the waiters were genuinely super nice and helpful! We even got some extra dessert for free(: Overall our visit here made our day<3 Don’t doubt going here if you’re in London!
I had the Heard burger—meaty, juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour with few pickles and fermented green jalapeños honey chutney. The Heard fries, cooked in beef fat and sprinkled with Parmesan. The meat is sourced from HG WALTER BUTCHERY. And burger made to Herd spec and cooked to right perfection and served with very beautiful baps which soak all the juices and still not getting soggy and dough, holding their shape well. Beautiful atmosphere and right amount of music sound. We went on a Sunday afternoon and no reservations and warmly received and welcomed. The staff are great and communicative and given enough privacy to enjoy the food. This place is my new fav for burger place now. Not far from London Bridge keeping enough space from heavy crowds of borough market. Should go Place if you are a lover of a good mash burger. Will come again to try others on menu soon.
Just the best ever burger I’ve tasted in my life!! Fell upon this wondrous place. Staff and atmosphere lovely, very accommodating. I wish this restaurant were closer to home, though perhaps that’d be detrimental to my waistline 😂 If visiting London, make this your lunchtime stop (if you like burgers) 🍔
“Mmmmm” was my only reaction to myself upon first bite. “Is it any good?” I asked the attendant when entering for a takeaway. She proudly returned my question to me and I was just compelled to put in my order. Upon opening the (absolutely stylish minimal) package at home, unpacked the burger and fries, I knew they had a lot to be proud of: The “Heard” burger is made of two perfectly grilled medium rare smashed patties, in a perfect brioche-like bun, dressed with a tantalizing sweet-spicy sauce and accompanied with high quality pickles, cheese, and finely cut and washed white onions. It’s a good portion size and my only regret was eating it so fast! The fries are also very hard to beat. Perfectly cut and fried in a fat and salt you can feel and taste complementing the burger but not overpowering. They come with a mildly spicy sauce that is extra fun to dip in. Overall a smashing new addition to the Borough food scene!
We came from Greece and stayed at Southwark area, we search for a good burger and we find this burger house. Very tasty burgers and friendly atmosphere (the service and the place both)
An awesome little pop up. T is an absolute credit to the business, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The burger was excellent; there were good textures and flavours but I think the patties were a touch too smashed for me and quite small at 75g rather than 85g each, but the beef was succulent and seasoned well for me. The bacon was a little chewy and you didn't get a bit in every bite, but added an extra dimension to the overall profile. All in all, this is an excellent addition to the area, great food, great atmosphere, awesome team. Definitely worth a visit.
Maybe the best burger I’ve ever had (if you eat meat). We went a couple weeks ago when they were v new and defo having some issues with service but totally expected for a new v popular place! Staff were really friendly. We ordered on the screens for takeaway and ate them in flat iron square. They put an extra burger in accidentally (the smoke stack) and it turned out to be my favourite. We had 2 veggies with us and they rated the veggie burger a 6/10 so probs not worth a visit for veggies (would be better with a fake meat vibe rather than beans). Otherwise I highly recommend!
I had a fantastic experience thanks to Andrei! The service was absolutely perfect — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. On top of that, the food was outstanding: fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find both excellent service and great food in one place, but this visit truly delivered on both. Highly recommend!
What an amazing spot! My burger was outstanding, the fries were so delicious! The service was exceptional. This is Michelin star level burgers!! I will return the next time I am in London.
The burgers are pretty good. Prefer the smoke stack to the Heard burger. More flavours. The chips are pretty tasty too. Smoothie great. Not really like the ice cream sandwich though.
5 stars for a Michelin 2 star conceived burger and chips Unpretentious stripped back food and restaurant vibe but wow the burger and chips are simply incredible. I had the pleasure to try the Heard burger and smoke stack both phenomenal. Exceptional attention to detail- simply the best fast food I’ve ever had. The ice cream sandwich is also stellar. Very pleased to discover this place but I’m worried it may become hard to get a table once word spreads.
A great place and probably one of the best burgers in London. We had the Truffle burger, Boring burger and Heard burger. All were great. Staff really friendly and service was nice and simple. Definitely come back here again.
A must visit. Great location. The burger (Smoke stack) was very juicy, a lot of pickles. Amazing fries, beer was good. Loved this place. We visited mid-day (1500), and there was no need to book a table.
A true hidden gem in London! The service at Heard was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The location is cozy, charming, and perfect for a relaxed visit. And the food? Simply a dream! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
Lovely ambience, good food and some laughter with friends. This place is a perfect spot for a fun evening! A must visit little gem.
It’s not always a new burger joint is a welcome addition to London, but this place is the perfect mesh of great food, fast service and amazing price point. A great blend of what you love about a fast food diner with the added structure of a high end restaurant. Staff super friendly from the moment we walked in, great vibe. Thanks
The burger was absolutely delicious!! Amazing flavour :)
We went here after seeing Jordan Bailey on Saturday Kitchen. I would say this burger is in my top two now of London (along with BBear). Smashed patty but still juicy and great additions in the Heard. Chips with the beef fat seasoning were off the chart. We went with their wine pairing - a very fragrant Riesling - great. Staff we very welcoming and, as in all good places, seemed to enjoy just being there. This is the way. Five minutes walk from Borough Market and well worth the walk. It's in a building that used to be a Cafe. Wasn't packed on a Wednesday night around 7pm, but deserves to be. Will be back to try the Smoke Stack
Very good quality and selection of smash burgers (including vegetarian). I had the heard burger; which had jalapeño and honey. The staff were very cordial and helpful, particularly Shitij who served us was very friendly and attentive. The milkshakes are also very good quality. The pricing is also very reasonable, considering the quality of the food. Overall, highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a decent smash burger at a reasonable price.
It was our first time to heard burger. And I have to say one of the best experiences and burgers we’ve had in the last five years and we do a lot of traveling. First, We were seated by the hostess in a two person‘s chair and we asked to move. She let us know that that was for three person seating and then came back three minutes later and said she had checked, and that we could move to the better table which I thought was the first great sign of service. Secondly, our server was named. Keren She had such great energy and enthusiastic smile someone who you could tell who was happy to serve. We ordered a burger she said that unfortunately if so, how burger was not available so I ordered the boring burger and then she came back 10 minutes later and said that the Soho burger was available and I said yes please I’d like to order it. My wife had ordered the mushroom wild burger, which she said was exceptional. Then Karen brought me the boring burger and said that she didn’t want me to wait but said she was also gonna give me the Soho burger and didn’t charge me for the boring burger. She let us know that she didn’t want my wife to be able to sit there by herself and eat and didn’t want us to wait. I thought this was something that a senior Manager would do, but this was allowed I would imagine for the level of service and culture for the restaurant which I can applaud. My wife also had the banana milkshake which she rated a 8.5 out of 10, which is high for her the freshness of the food a great ambience and the service was exceptional. We Have now found our new burger spot well done to the whole team
Very simple menu, which is great. Fast service and friendly and attentive staff. I got the boring burger which was juicy and delicious - a solid choice. My friend got the Heard burger which was equally great with well balanced flavour. Got the fries with the cheese sauce. Do not skip this! It was a terrific accompaniment to our mains. We definitely need more beef fat-fried chips these days. Also recommend the strawberry and banana milkshakes - they taste fresh and natural and are the perfect thickness. Very much recommend Heard.
The heard, with extra jalapeño hot honey. 5/5 Cripsy edges, thin smash patties, very juicy. Their regular fries, exceptional. Both dips are quite nice too!
We had a great experience at Heltburger. The food was excellent — we received very well-prepared, flavorful burgers that we were truly happy with. Head chef Natali , together with chef Edglier did a fantastic job and clearly put a lot of care and skill into the food. The service also deserves praise — professional, friendly, and attentive. Special thanks to Sanjey for the great service and positive attitude. Overall, a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed it and would happily come back.
Burgers were extremely tasty and looked amazing as well — clearly prepared with great attention to detail. The service was fast and very professional, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and friendly, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I would definitely recommend this place and will gladly come back again.
Tasty burgers. Kind staff. We had the boring burger and smoke stack. Both delicious. Bun was soft and quality patties. Right amount of sauce and condiments. The place is located in a cool corner spot, very close to Borough market. Not sure why it was not as crowded on Sunday afternoon, but definitely worth the detour if around the neighborhood.
Excellent burgers, fries, and drinks. Food and drinks came out impressively fast, and the alternative playlist was a nice surprise! Service was very attentive at the start, though it slowed a bit once our plates were cleared and we weren’t offered another drink, dessert, or the bill until we flagged someone down. It was a Saturday night but not overly busy (around 60% full). That said, I’d absolutely come back again!
I really liked this place! Good service, and delicious burgers. They are smash style - loved all the condiments they come with, including the heard sauce. The fries are excellent too! Only taken a star off as I personally believe that fries should be included in the price of a burger. Would come back
its a good burger - nice patties, good beef, good beef/sauce ratio - but overall, i expected better after hearing so much about it. Don’t get me wrong, the burger is a solid 8.5/10 but the hype made me expect better. Burger prices are okay, for double patties - but i didn’t really find them too filling. Cheesy fries and beers are a bit over priced. Would i come back? probably, to try the other burgers.
I’m not a big fan of burgers, but this was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I don’t understand the people who complain about the service. Come on, guys — you’re in a burger place, not a fine dining restaurant. Don’t expect luxury service here. The food speaks for itself!
I’m thrilled that we’ve finally got a burger joint that understands the timeless pairing of burgers and milkshakes. It’s surprisingly rare to find this combination done well these days. Heard offers a solid selection of milkshakes, with the chocolate one standing out as a highlight. The burgers are great value for money and clearly a cut above anything else in the area. Another standout is the quality of the fries—crispy, well-seasoned, and far better than your typical fast food fare. The atmosphere at Heard also deserves praise. The space is open and comfortable, making it easy to relax and have a conversation without feeling cramped. It’s everything your average fast food spot isn’t. If you’re in the area, Heard is well worth a visit.
Tried “The Heard” burger and the cheesy fries. The burger was really good, meat tasted amazing but overall it was missing a bit of sauce and I didn’t really taste the hot honey. The fries were amazing, some of the best out there. Will definitely be back to try the others on the menu! Update: After combing back a second time, would definitely recommend the smokestack as the one to order!
Very good smash burgers. Good buns, good amount of toppings, not oversaturated with sauce, and good caramelization of the beef. Chips were good as well with quite a generous portion. Excellent ice cream sandwich.
They have nailed the smashed patty: crispy on the outside, pink in the middle. The burgers have some subtle flavours hidden that would benefit from being more pronounced (ie the honey in the Heard burger). Fries are deliciously crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Service and cook time take longer than expected for a relatively small place
Very solid burger. I think the meat flavour is very subdued. I would prefer a stronger patty. The fries were very delicious and cooked to perfection👌
I visited for lunch on a Thursday. It is a surprisingly large space with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. On a pleasant day most people were seated outdoors and this did seem like quite a nice setting (with some shelter from the elements). It was not busy through my visit, definitely less than half full. Orders can be placed via the QR codes on each table. I tried the “The Heard” burger with a side of fries and an aioli dip. The burger was decent, not the best I’ve tried but above average for a smash burger, and they did manage to retain a bit of pinkness on the inside. It was quite small in size though. The fries in contrast came as an enormous portion. These had a lovely crisp to them and ultimately they went down well even through I was not convinced about the seasoning and the aioli dip was lacking flavour. Service was very speedy and staff seemed friendly, albeit interactions were limited given the QR code setup. I paid £24 for my lunch which was on the pricey side for a burger meal. Overall not a bad meal, although it does seem to be a bit overhyped at present.
Visite : January 21st 2026 Service: Excellent. The male staff was nice and welcoming. Atmosphere: Finding the entrance was a bit of a challenge. Food: I found the burger slightly salty (personal preference). The smash burger patty had uneven cooking—ranging from crispy to undercooked in one burger. Be aware that it comes with a lot of finely chopped onions, which leaves a strong lingering taste.
A lot of hype about this place but underwhelmingly average unfortunately. Service was okay but not a single check back between serving the food to paying the bill. Initially had a flat sparkling wine but this was replaced with a fresh bottle. Burgers were okay but I think we expected more. Likewise very average fries too and these are £5 extra each, which again I expected them to be mindful blowing. All in all, not terrible but also just meh. Great music though on the upside.
They kind of mis-sell you here. The website suggests that you’re going to get a Michelin- level burger and actually this is an average burger joint with less than average fries. The ice cream sandwich pudding is not worth ordering. In conclusion burger isn’t bad, but seriously nothing special. The server we had had a serious attitude but the other members of staff were nice. If you go expecting an average burger you probably won’t be disappointed, expecting more and you will be. Honest burger is tastier and better quality than this.
Been wanting to come here for a while to see what the hype was about, unfortunately the burger was very underwhelming. I asked the waiter how the patty was cooked and he said they cook them medium rare which is what I wanted however mine was well done!! Obviously I didn’t feel comfortable sending it back but will not be returning. The only positive were the chips which are better than Honest burgers however the burgers leave much to be desired.
Average burgers, terrible service. Visited at 4pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy but the one host on duty struggled and failed to provide adequate service. We ended up collecting our own drinks from the bar because they were sat there getting warm and then we had to specifically ask for cutlery and napkins. Several other tables also had to ask for these. The host had an excellent skill of ignoring tables so the quickest way to get someone’s attention to pay the bill was by going to the bar.
