Always a pleasure to visit O Ver Borough! You simply can’t go wrong — the quality is consistently excellent. The dough is perfect, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere very welcoming. A special shout-out to Alfonso — knowledgeable, friendly, and full of charisma! And the cocktails? Absolutely amazing! The Aperol Spritz makes you feel like you’re in Italy. Thanks also to the bartender, Isac, for the great drinks and attention to detail!

Nothing bad can be said about this Italian restaurant. They have daily specials, excellent wood fired pizza. Lovely pasta dishes and a very nice variety of starters. The restaurant is small, so make a reservation. BUT!!! As small as the restaurant is, it isn’t noisy at all. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the cuisine. The dough for the pizza crust is made with sea water. (And no, they don’t bring a bucket back from the Thames everyday.) 🤓 There is zero parking close. So take a taxi or Uber or hey, why not walk. The prices aren’t bad at all. Check out the menu, but do not leave London without trying this pizza or pasta.

Really lovely experience here. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious!! A great place to have a nice lunch. Every dish we had was good and packed with flavour! So many options to chose from too and willing to make veg options!

Our third time here. First time we sit upstairs, second time outside, this time we were in the basement. We didn’t even know there were tables in the basement. The food is amazing as usual. Our server Angelina is very nice and has a very good sense of humour. Highly recommended.

We had our wedding reception here on New Year's Eve 2016 and have been coming back ever since. Mauro and Alfonso have styled their restaurants beautifully and have created the best atmosphere. The chef's they employ are of a very high quality. We had a pizza with fresh ricotta, partially sun dried and fully sun dried tomatoes and it had a great balance to it. For desert we had the deconstructed cannoli. They refresh the menu regularly and many of the other guests from our wedding still return. Keep up the good work.

My favourite place in London. Food is great and the stuff is really friendly and kind. I think it’s the only place where the chief was talking to me personally about my dishes almost every time I was eating here. Also the best truffle pasta!

What a wonderful Italian restaurant. It is beautiful designed when you walk in and the staff are so attentive and kind. The food was unreal🤤 so yummy and light - not like some Italian restaurants where you come away feeling overly full and bloated! their pizzas have won awards and I can definitely see why, they were delicious. We will be returning again soon!

We had such a great time: it was a special occasion and O Ver really put a cherry on top. One of us was late due to work commitments and whilst some places would have been disgruntled at that, the staff was so accommodating and never mentioned anything or rushed us. We ended up being the last ones in the restaurant and even then, they let us take our time and offered a shot at the end of the night. It was a perfect dinner, I couldn’t recommend this more. Oh and the food is incredible, so really 10/10.

Spent a delightful lunchtime at O'ver. Food was excellent. Had the gnocchi special which was delicious and slightly spicy, which I love. The wine recommendation from the waitress was very delightful and I had more than one glass. The coffee was so delicious. A really complex taste profile which completed the meal perfectly. Highly recommend. One of my fellow diners had to ask for another green salad as the first one was very salty.

We've been to eat at Over UK, and I was truly impressed. I hadn’t eaten a delicious pizza like this in ages. We had the Ostuni pizza made with Fior di latte mozzarella from Monti Lattari, yellow cherry tomatoes from Vesuvio, basil, topped with organic burrata from Apulia, and artisan Capocollo ham. We also had the Diavola, made with Fior di latte mozzarella from Monti Lattari, San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, Spianata Calabra (spicy salame), N'duja (spicy pork sausage paste), and basil. Both were delicious, and I must admit, in London, I have never had a better pizza. I’m definitely going back to try other things from the menu.

Interior was super clean and fresh. I suppose it just have been refurbished. Very good pizza, although it wasn’t as hot as I expected. Cappuccino was perfect. I ordered beer and my friends had Aperols. Worth visiting. Nice elegant place. Customer service was very professional.

I have gone to this restaurant more than 15 times since i was in a business trip and i oved all what they offer. The staff is amazing. The quality if food is exceptional. You cannot regret any choice.

Delicious Italian in luxurious decor with proper service. We came without booking and were seated downstairs in the basement which was beautifully decorated with candle lit settings. Food was superb, we had the daily special pasta with prawns (prawn favour fully infused the pasta), the Capricciosa pizza with mozzarella, ham, artichoke and olives (thin, chewy base grilled to perfection) salad (fresh) and tiramisu (one of the best I’ve had - not heavy or too sweet). Wonderful experience, highly recommend

I've been to O'Ver several times, and the pizza is always outstanding! They use high-quality ingredients, the dough is perfect, and the wine selection is excellent. A great place for an authentic and delicious dining experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing food! We love it when the food has so much complexity in flavour and when is something you do not expect. Highly recommended for those who love Italian food and try something special.

Pablo and Gabriel were absolutely fantastic! My friends and I had the beat time, the pizzas are delicious and the zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese were just too good to be true! Thank you everyone, I loved having my birthday dinner at O’Ver!!

I came here last weekend for my birthday and couldn't have had a better time! Simone, who looked after our large group, was fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious. Great atmosphere. I'm looking forward to coming back.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The Parma pizza was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, full of flavour, and perfectly made. Krish and Isaac provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. The whole team was polite, attentive, and professional. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

I had an amazing night at O Ver Restaurant Borough! Everything was fantastic, especially the SORRENTO absolutely delicious. I also loved the fiore di zucca, perfectly done. I had a lovely experience at Ver Borough. I was seated in the downstairs area, which had such a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The service was great too,really friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was tasty and everything felt very well looked after. I’d definitely come back!

Wonderful little restaurant ! The italian host was charming and attentive, the food was simply outstanding. We had a birthday girl in our party and the host kindly gave her a free desert and glass of rose wine to celebrate which was a lovely touch. Ive told everyone about this restaurant and will certainly return when im next in London.

Great food, great service! It was our last night in London and we wanted to have a good meal and reminisce. Our concierge at the Hilton suggested this restaurant. The staff was very kind, as some of us had trouble with the items on the menu. We each had a different meal. It was DELICIOUS! If you are in London, you have to try Olvera Borough.

Great pizza, fresh from the oven. I got the 5 cheese pizza. Yum! Gorgonzola was not too pungent and the ricotta creamy. Either drop of chili oil, it was the perfect bite. My husband got the margarita and we had a wonderful fig salad with smoky orange dressing. Outdoor seating was great on a summer day. Service was kind and attentive to our requests. It was close to our hotel, so we may visit again before we leave.

Absolutely one of a kind. I received a level of service I haven’t had in years, if ever. “I want you to walk out here with a smile,” our server said and we definitely did. The pizza came fast, hot and delicious. Very artisanal. Very accommodating. I would definitely come back again. It was a wonderful experience. I’d definitely recommend

We didn’t have a booking but was able to get a counter seat. We were served in good time and the starters were really tasty. They were also accommodating in making non-veggie things veggie but also keeping the meat on the side so the meat eater can still have it. However the reason why the food is 4 stars is because the pizza while all cooked etc was not piping hot (I like it piping hot). Maybe if it was in the over for another 30 seconds or served on a heated plate - maybe that would do the trick. Also they didn’t give us a pizza knife until a couple of minutes after - the heat goes quickly and that’s why the 4 star review (everything else was great)!

Was browsing Google maps for a Napoli pizza place and this place came up in walking distance. I arrived and asked for a table for 1. I was promptly seated outside to enjoy the remainder of the evening before the sun set. The food was served fresh and had great flavors. The only thing I would have liked is for the pizza to be cooked a smidge longer. It was a bit soft and could have used 15 to 30 seconds longer. Otherwise everything was great.

Had a lovely meal this evening with a work colleague. We started the evening with drinks downstairs, the dark and moody interior was great and a nice area to relax in the sofas ahead of our meal enjoying a nice cocktail. The meal, WOW so fresh and flavour some. The prices were very reasonable too. Was lovely to see the chefs busy in the kitchen area right beside our table. The staff were very attentive and provided a great service. Had a lovely evening, thank you to the entire team.

I don't usually go out for dinner on a Sunday night but it's Christmas after all and it's nice to sometimes break the rules. I wanted somewhere nice, fresh and Italian to eat and I came across this restaurant near Borough market. I had the soup of the day for starters, raviolo Genovese as a main and for dessert, an affogato with a shot of Bailey's. The food was delightful, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were really lovely. The toilets are great as well, full of feet sculptures and they're clean. If you're in the London bridge area and you fancy an Italian. O Ver Borough will not disappoint.

Delicious meal - loved the truffle burrata and tuna tartare for appetizers (arancini and octopus carpaccio can be skipped), the spaghetti puttanesca and the seafood for mains and the tiramisu for dessert. They have a nice outdoor set up and good service (although we had to wait 30 mins despite making a reservation). Will def be back!

We managed to squeeze in a dinner at this place before lockdown. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our waitress, Katie, made the best recommendations and suggestions, very grateful to have had her! We had a red wine called Montepulciano D’Abruzzo that was amazing. The food is a bit on the expensive side and the portions aren’t big but it was very tasty and flavorful. My favourite was probably the fillet (it was like cutting butter) and the pomodori pasta, which is not one of their popular dishes, so I imagine the other pasta dishes are great too! The restaurant is very stylish. We sat downstairs which almost felt like a private dinner. Definitely recommend this place for a nice Italian dinner!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon in early October. Nice place overall. Quite an attractive setting. The food was decent on the whole but not exceptional. The burrata starter was tasty if a bit dear at £16 - if the cheese and tomatoes were particularly special, my novice palate couldn’t detect it. My wife enjoyed her seafood pasta. One of the pizzas we ordered, a marinara, was seriously undercooked (portions were raw dough) so the restaurant replaced that pizza without question. My pizza, a Margherita, was fine, big on the dough side of things, with fresh and natural-tasting tomatoes, and very mild mozzarella. Overall, the flavours of the pizza were really quite understated - too understated for my liking. I saw this place on a top 100 pizzas in the world list (Robb Report) but frankly it wouldn’t even rank in my top 10 for London. The service was friendly and mostly efficient. Overall, we had a nice lunch here.

Funnily enough for a place famous for its saltwater pizza we didn’t have that. We went pasta and street food instead. No reason just it caught our fancy more. I was a fan of the burrata and the pasta mains, the Naples street food was a bit of a disappointment. The pasta though nothing to fault there, cooked well, loaded up with sauce and flavour We had to power through it. As deceptively big. The street food issue I had, was I had expectations of something else and it was difficult to square with reality. Also felt a little pricey for the platter. Will revisit, good wine as well. I see they are opening up in ST James so will probably go there next time as closer to work.

Came here again on a Friday evening and everything from food, wine to ambience was excellent. Don’t miss pizza Ostuni - it’s totally stunning we all loved it. This was originally recommended to me an Italian friend who is from Campania, the birthplace of Neapolitan pizza, and the best burrata and buffalo mozzarella. Having been here twice, their pizzas are exquisite and generally better than the pastas. The wine list is very good and reasonably priced. The Lugana (a medium body white) we had last night was lovely and perfect with pizza and pastas.

‘O Ver offers a lovely ambience, perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner, with a cozy and intimate setting that sets the mood beautifully. The service was excellent—the staff were very welcoming, attentive, and polite throughout our visit. However, I must admit I was disappointed with the food. We ordered a basic Neapolitan pizza and a truffle burrata that came with something resembling pita breads. While I’ve always loved burrata in the past, this one wasn’t quite up to standard; when I cut into it, there was an unusual amount of water inside, which impacted the overall experience. Additionally, for the quality of the food, I found the prices to be on the higher side. Despite this, the beautiful ambience and wonderful service made the visit pleasant in other ways.

Stuffed courgette flower was absolutely delicious!!! 5 star!!! Staff were lovely. But sadly the pasta was unremarkable and the restaurant is just too cold (in January) to want to hang around in for long, lazy meals

Maybe we were just unlucky but I don't really understand the high reviews. Food was average at best, overpriced, extremely small starters. We were 3 people and ordered 2 starters to share, Fiorillo di Zucca and Cuoppo di mare. I didn't expect only 1 courgette flower for £9.5...also the seafood was cold and too crispy, the batter was burnt, not tasty at all. Then we had 2 pizza to share, one was Cinque Formaggi which was also cold, and the ricotta taste was overwhelming and the ingredients just didn't mix well as the ricotta was cold and the pizza it's supposed to be hot, couldn't taste the gorgonzola at all either. The other pizza was Salsiccia & Funghi which was decent but again cold, pizza it's supposed to be served very hot! And the last thing that really bothered me was the smell downstairs, I am not sure what was that they did, but at some point the smell was overwhelming, it smelled like Vapour rub, not sure if it was a candle or whatever but I had to leave the place as I got a headache. My advice is to go and eat in other places as you are wasting your money here

Went with a friend and within 7 mins of being there, got abruptly told by one of the waitresses that we had to give the table back by a certain time. ordered two seawater pizzas. We asked for a few modifications ( not too much cheese on one and one without anchovies). When we got the pizzas, the crust was nice but the rest of the dough underneath was watery/wet. My friend asked if it could be put in the oven a little longer. The waitress loudly explained to the chef that ' we were complicated'. During the meal, my friend tried to get the attention of three members of staff in the restaurant all who just ignored him and were standing around chatting and laughing with each other. We were told again with about 30 mins to spare that we needed to give the table back at a certain time, ideally earlier so they'd have time to clear up. All in all an unwelcoming experience due to poor customer service and very average pizzas. Would not recommend
