Opinions de Titu of Mayfair London
This place exceeded my expectations. The food was divine, expertly cooked and presented. From the homemade lemonades, to the selection of gyozas, tacos, crispy chicken wings, truffle chips and the ‘to die for’ Miso Salmon. To top it off, Titu serves Mayfair standard of food at non-Mayfair pricing. We will be returning again and again. Absolutely stunning restaurant :)
Wagyu Tacos and Wagyu Gyoza were fantastic. Tuna Tacos, Seabass, and Baby Squid were also really good. The Chicken Gyoza, clam miso soup, and Chicken Katsu were also a hit with the kid. The Spicy Prawn Gyoza really needs to be a lot spicier. Also enjoyed the matcha brulee and Titu Saturn. Honeycomb Panna Cotta was interesting, but I think it would be better if it was sweeter.
Visited with a friend and it was delightful ! Starting with location… well located with cute view… it was sunny and warm then we sat out side with a cute view from shepherd marked. Service was spectacular with a warm welcoming and suggestions from the menu. We decided to go for tacos, shrimp and dumpling… it was DELISH!!! Definitely recommend this place and would come back . Thank you
I just fell in love with this place. Very tiny place - 5 tables will hardly fit 20 people. Japanese inspired... literally. Probably the best gyoza I have ever tasted. My favourite was Spicy Prawn. It's not spicy at all, very moderate. The hottest Titu Kimchi with threatening 🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the menu was very lightly spiced, but was authentic Kimchi! Fried baby squids were good, but nothing compared to mouthwatering gyoza. Miso Kimchi Lamb gyoza was great, but nothing could beat Prawns! Book a table in advance. The demand is high! Not very cheap, but the quality justifies the price or even exceeds the one. Highly recommended! Haven't tasted their signature cocktails, but that I will leave till my next visit.
Titu is a Japanese restaurant "tapas" style. It is very small, it literally has 6 table and fits 14 people which makes it cozy an unique. The decor is super cool, from the origami hanging from the ceiling to the colourful tapestry of the chairs. We suuuper recommend the tuna tacos, the best of all we ordered. We also liked the wagyu gyozas and the veal ribs (though quite expensive, £25 for the 4 ribs...). The chicken katsu is quite normal and the spizy prawn gyozas are also quite plain and not spicy at all. The lemonades are also quite tasty. Nice place for a date or a lunch with a friend. However I believe a little overpriced for the quality of the food you get.
A small restaurant a stone's throw away from Green Park serving really good quality food. Had two starters, a main and dessert for £21 (extra £4.50 for the chocolate fondant) which is great value for money. All the food was delicious, hot tasty. The spicy prawn gyōza was among the best I've ever had, would eat here again.
Really tiny but cool place tucked away in Mayfair that had surprisingly very tasty food. Been lots of misses in London when it came to pan Asian food but Titu did not disappoint. We loved the veal ribs, tuna and wagyu tacos, lamb chops and lamb bao but the other menu items were great as well. Very tight and cozy spot so definitely make a reso before you come.
Nice restaurant next to Green Park. From the moment you walk in you are captivated by a nice décor, warm lights and the gentle sound of house music in the background. We started with multiple starters and then proceeded to a few main dishes. The food is rich in flavour and the menu is quite exhaustive. I had as drink a beer but I'd personally recommend going for the teas because they are really good (my friends took them). The hibiscus was my favourite one. Overall the price was not too bad and I'd say to stop by if you are nearby
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I recently dined at Titu and was thoroughly impressed. The sashimi platter was exceptionally fresh and the tacos were a playful, flavourful highlight that added a fun twist to the meal. The Thai Me Up cocktail was refreshing and well-balanced, a standout to pair with the courses. What really set the experience apart was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, Titu delivers a fantastic dining experience with high-quality ingredients, creative dishes, and standout service. Highly recommended!
Climactic place. The man from the staff could explain the menu, even though we had to think for several minutes what to order. But at the end, all of our needs were met. We ordered seabass, and teriyaki salmon with truffle chips. this last tasted the best in my opinion especially the sauce. But the salmon itsself had a very rich flavour, definitely recommend it. The restaurant is a bit expensive though (about 40 pounds per person). And the one thing, that I didn't like was the fact, that You need to order everything separately (separately chips, salmon, rice, etc.). Nonetheless, really recommend it, the place is small but cosy, and silent, even though it's near the pedestrians path.
Lovely impromptu dinner at Titu with delicious margaritas which we had quite a few of. Got there early and grazed on spicy edamame, the gyoza dream, duck salad and shrimp tempura. All were delicious and so tasty. Particularly enjoyed the duck salad! Lovely spot and very friendly service which we enjoyed. Wanted to go for a while and looking forward to going back.
Super cute space, fruit was really good. Lots of tasty punchy flavors. I actually really enjoyed the spinach salad! The tacos were really good as well. Nice recommendation by our hotel.
This is a really nice, quaint spot with good food, and a good variety of sushi options, as well as other options. The sushi was incredible. It’s a small sharing plates kind of place allowing you to try a variety of different options. the restaurant only has space for around 12 ish people and the music isn’t too loud so it’s a great spot to eat and converse.
Absolutely amazing experience. The food is exceptional and the staff is personal. Savored every bite. The scallops and tuna tacos are a must have. I’m going to be bragging about this place for years to come.
Waited 45 minutes for our table in this 16-cover tiny restaurant tucked away in a street corner behind Piccadilly. Was it worth it? On the one hand, the two lady hosts were warm and welcoming, and the food was superbly done. The gyozas were their calling card and did not disappoint. Our sides of the softshell crab salad and rice balls were mouthfuls of intense flavour. On the other hand, the place was so crowded inside and seats so uncomfortable that we might've been better off getting a takeaway and sit anywhere but there.
We loved the experience and the food. The place is small and intimate. The food was wonderful and the service very attentive. Would definitely visit again when back in London.
Pretty little restaurant in Myfair. The service is great and the food is excellent. We had the prawn gyoza, salmon miso, fired squids and miso aubergine, all excellent. As dessert we chose the sesame passion fruit tart and the only vegan option they had which was mango coconut rice pudding. Presentation and taste both superb. I am impressed by this little gem! ❤️
Superb, delicious, charming, wonderful. Highly recommended. My wife and I are Vegan and we both enjoyed a full assortment of delectable Vegan dishes.👍👍👍👍👍😋
Absolutely fantastic food and venue! Cocktails are one of the best in the area and the food is fresh, tasty and fabulously presented. We had a dinner with a friend we haven’t seen for a few years and everyone was extremely pleased with the dinner. Highly recommended!
Truffle fries were delicious. I ordered the gyoza platter whereas my mate ordered the vegetarian ones and they tasted pretty good for veg! The (I think it was lamb?) bao wasn’t something I’d re-order per se but still tasted pretty alright. I didn’t try any of the other vegetarian dishes in the photos but my friend seemed to like them. I’d revisit!
One of the best restaurants on our trip to London. Small and cozy in the small Mayfair neighborhood cove. Veal ribs were unreal!
Delicious, delicious! Such a cute little Japanese fusion restaurant.. eveything was absolutely delicious. We had the most amazing chicken katsu and tuna tacos
Great food, served quickly. Menu has low carb options. Chicken katsu, jalapeño tataki were great. Fun decor and intimate setting. Small space but we have never had trouble getting a table for two. Convenient location.
Cocktails have been very tasty (I tried the “pornstar”, my wife the “Thai me up”. We had a set of tasteful smaller dishes.
The most delicious food I have ever tried in London. Cozy atmosphere, with a wide variety of food and nice cocktails.
Zara is honestly the best! Her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness made my visit such a lovely experience. She always goes above and beyond for everyone, and you can tell she truly cares. I’ll definitely be coming back the whole team is great, but she really stands out!
Great experience at Titu Restaurant. Amit was an amazing host—his food recommendations were spot on. Everything was delicious.
Amazing food. You can tell a lot of thought and effort has gone into the menu.
The best #gyoza I ever tasted! Menu offer a selection if starters, salads, frills & desserts and drinks (hot/cold). Recommendations:Tuna tacos, foie gras with chicken gyoza & Miso Grilled Salmon. It is very cosy yet tiny that once you sit you dont to move in fear of dropping anything beside you or on others table. Staff( which I think are the owners) are welcoming, sweet & attentive. Good food and I would definitely come back to try their pardon poppers, chicken popcorn and other type of gyozas. Accessibility must be seeked for #PWD.
Found this place on Google, and decided to go because of the good reviews and high rating. Its a small Asian/Japanese place in Shepherd street,London. The place ia beautiful! Really nicely decorated, good ambience. Food they don't have a lot of options like a big Asian restaurant but there are some good options which you can try.. vegetarian options are veryy few so that's a heads up for vegetarians. Cocktails are awesome too..
Cute little place tucked in the corner of shepherd market. They only have very limited tables and chairs so there may need to be a long wait if you just walk in. Calling ahead of time may be a great idea. There are only 5 tables so having a big group may not be able to accomodate! Due to the size of the restaurant, it can easily get too noisy inside. The food tastes great and presented well! The staff were pretty attentive to the theur guests. There's a great selection fo cocktails and gyoza. It's like a tapas style but pan-asian dishes. The gyozas were great. Tuna tataki was really flavoursomw and presented nicely. It was a great place for lunch as we were only looking for small meal at the time. If its the same menu for dinber then I'd probably be looking somewhere elsw to get more substantial meal.
A cozy and cute little spot tucked away in Shepherd Market — perfect for a change of pace in Mayfair. The food was good, simple, and nicely executed. It’s more of a Japanese fusion style, but done in a straightforward and unpretentious way. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for something relaxed and low-key in the area, without sacrificing quality.
Popped in with a friend on an unplanned visit and were pleasantly surprised. We had tuna and unagi nigiri, spicy salmon roll, a vegetarian roll I’m forgetting the name of, and some wagyu and pepper potstickers. Potstickers lacked a little oomph, but the sea bass was excellent. Sushi rolls were good - nothing terribly exciting about them but I suppose that’s what you want with sushi. Everything tasted really fresh and the space is cute, albeit very compact.
The decorations are cute but the inside seating is too small and are very close to each other. The food was good but nothing out of ordinary. The price is on the higher end because of its location.
Tapas style meals. Would highly recommend the tuna tacos which has very fresh tuna and perfectly crafted sauce/garnish. The aspargus was well cooked not over cooked with some crisp.. the peppers and the sauce complement each other with a savory sweet/ spicy combination. The sauce for this dish was also delicious. These two were my favorite. Cucumber and Radish Tataki was fresh. Avocado salad was ok. Katsu chicken was delicious with its paired sauce, perfect. Wagyu Beef Tataki also worth ordering.
We enjoyed the food but somehow felt like for a very small portion it is overpriced also the place is too small it feels cramped.
Hidden jewel in London city. Food and service are good although the place is quite small, perhaps very Japanese? I highly recommend the fish tacos and the refreshing drinks.
The food was very delicious, although the restaurant is quite small. I enjoyed it so much that I came back again after two days. Unfortunately, during my second visit I found a hair in the food, which was a bit disappointing.
So... overall I am glad I visited but do not think I will return for the following reasons. The place is just too cramped. Really small venue with too many tables to comfortably be seated or to receive service. Service was friendly but the food is almost tapas based and you have very little space to place your plates etc. Gyoza were decent enough, my wife had the aubergine which she said was too sweet and I had the lamb chops which were delicious but very pricey for two pieces. Overall, while I didn't have a bad experience and the food was ok I am not sure I would recommend it unfortunately.
Came here for lunch with a couple friends and we're all 6' tall and the place is cramped even though it was just us there. Small tables and small place. Food was good enough but nothing special. Sushi was OK, not super fresh like you would get in Asia. Guess I haven't had sushi in UK for a while now so am spoilt and this might seem unfair.
