Great brunch selections!! It was so hard to choose between the chilaquiles or potato hash, but thankfully our waitress had their best recommendation ready. The potato hash was the perfect portion to enjoy alongside a margarita. The restaurant has a chill ambiance, and I really enjoyed seeing other guests bringing in their dogs to the patio. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and hope to visit again for dinner soon!

Very very good food. Worth the wait time. When busy (or at Pandemic capacity rules) put name in with Hostess (on water/dock side) & you will be given a pager device (they will also text you if you give phone number) so that you can walk around & enjoy Shoreline Village. Generous Adult drinks.

Yummy food. Bartenders rock! Management on point. Great location and view. Lot's of television's so everyone can watch sporting events comfortably. I had a really great time. Worth the drive from Orange County.

The door guy Stu was amazing. He made sure me and my friend group of about 4 girls felt very safe and was very attentive. I definitely will be going back !

The nightlife at Panama joes is amazingggggg. Door guys are really nice and kind especially STU. Throughout the night made sure I was okay with my group I LOVE IT.

Great happy hour deals in Long Beach. The staff is very attentive and the deals for happy hour are not only good for drinks but great for their food as well. Parking is street parking only but there is plenty of options. More of a Tex mex style not authentic but still very tasty!

The food is excellent, and the service is on point. The have a few tables outside and seating inside. Can't go wrong either way but if you can get a table outside you are winning. The atmosphere is incredible and the vibe of Belmont Shore is very inviting. I had a meeting with a friend and he loved the spot so much he said he had to come back with his wife. Curve out some time so you don't have to race. Just sit back and enjoy.

Went on a Wednesday night and it was still a vibe! They had a house DJ mixing pop, hip hop, Spanish music, and more. A really good mix made everyone get up and dance. Lots of seating for people and such an attentive staff picking up all trash and empty cups. I will say however the bar was a bit slow. (There were only two bartenders but it was a Wednesday). Special shout-out to Angel, he was so helpful helping a friend. I'd definitely go back on a weekend when they open up the other side of the bar for the dance floor.

This is a restaurant that has a cool atmosphere with a Mexican theme. However, presentation and dishes are very americanized which is not bad but deviate from the original taste. Drink prices are reasonable and quality and food portions are right on target. Free Parking is hard to find so be prepared to pay for parking (around 5 dollars ) for all day. Customer service is friendly and courteous and the only complain I have is that there are flies flying around your plate throughout the meal which is annoying... I recommend this place if you are looking for a break during the week but if you are looking for the authentic Mexican taste you might want to try a different restaurant.

Very disappointed! I i wanted to love Panama Joe. Unfortunately this place has a very distinct smell. It's smells like vomit at the main bar. This might be a health hazard or something. Sorry, too, gross. The food is another situation. They tried to fool me a week ago; ordered a Chile Relleno, and instead, they brought me a bell pepper stuffed with cheese. Hate to be negative, but bell pepper is not used for Chile Relleno. I'm not an afficionado of Chile Rellenos; shame on them for trying to pull the wool over people's eyes, giving them what they didn't order! We will not return. If you have a hangover and you need to throw up, just come in here. You'll gag and throw up!

Arrived on a Monday afternoon, sat at the bar. Ignored. Went to the restroom and came back. Sitting at the bar again with a menu, still ignored. Late lunch, not crowded. Disappointed I paid for street parking (which was hard to find, another turnoff to this restaurant) only to find bartenders engaged in gossip vs serving their customers. I left and will not return again, despite being in the area a few times a month.

This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I came here to have a good time, and when we asked the DJ for a song request, he literally told my husband ‘no.’ I was so disappointed that I finished my drink and walked out. It honestly shouldn’t be acceptable for a DJ to deny a simple request—most people enjoy a variety of music when they’re out. It wouldn’t have hurt anyone, and I’m sure others would have enjoyed it too. Overall, it was a ridiculous and horrible experience. Just sharing my honest opinion as a customer.
