This Wienerschnitzel drive thru was packed 930pm on national hot dog day. There was a bit of a wait, as to be expected. The workers were hustling, the lady at the window was very nice, food was fresh, piping hot and super tasty!!

I had a great experience the food was well prepared and the service was top tier the young lady asked me how was my day as well as being able to answer my questions about the weekly specials.

I always order chilli cheese burgers, large fries and Mountain Dew. I'm always satisfied with the food. Their drinks are kind of watered down, but the food is so delicious I don't mind. Lol. Their customer service is always good. Overall always a great experience. #Fff @fancyfrani 😊

Absolutely thee BEST COMFORT FOOD AVAILABLE TO MANKIND. I've visited this "Weinerschnitzel" since I was a kid and the Food Quality has always been amazing; Customer Service on par, along with Fast Service. You HAVE to try a Chilli Cheese Burger, Fries, AND Hotdog with a Chocolate Dipped Cone, at least ONCE in your life time. Meal of Champions my friends.

This Der Wienerschnitzel has been here since 1961 and must be doing something right to have survived so long. Open long hours, 9 am to Midnight. It hasn't modernized much, the vegan options are limited to coffee and water, but they still serve a pretty good hot dog at an inexpensive price.

Food is always good there. And everyone is always very nice.

Tried something new on their Fish and Chips for lint and it was the BOMB! If you're in the area stop by for some great Fish

Visiting from out of town, had to stop here for the food and the nostalgia. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location.

I like wienerschnitzel it's been around for years but I only go for the lemonade they have the best lemonade and you can mix it. I don't have a photo but the lemonade I get when I go is the strawberry lemonade mixed with mango is so 🔥 and my daughter likes the chili cheese fries I don't really eat their food only because as we get older our stomach can't take everything but the lemonade 🍋 try it!!

A German American place served in a fast food styled restaurant; it's a great place, where vegan and meat lovers meet . Personally, I fell in love with the Vegan Chicago. While short on time having little wiggle room, but couldn't resist the the luring smell. Unfortunately I was too hungry while still sleepy around early morning. The atmosphere?..lol...it's a Hotdog Stand. It was okay. Chili dog with mustard onions and chili. What more could you ask for? I mean really...no one will ever beat Hot Dog King in Newport News, Virginia. Hot dogs on a grill with the best chili. But anyway it looked like a kids size happy meal. Maybe I'll try something else next time.

It's a hotdog stand under a teepee, so the atmosphere is not on my checklist. The food is bland, because hot dogs are bland. But load up on toppings and it's OK. Corn dogs are as good as most, and much better than some. EOTD if you're hungry and a Weinerschnitzel comes in view, go for it.

My friends and I are in from Columbus, Ohio, and Wienerschnitzel is down the street from our hotel so we walked down for a quick dinner. 🍽 The menu has a decent amount of options and the lemonade combos are cool (cucumber, strawberry, etc.). I got the mac and cheese and cucumber lemonade and my husband got the Chicago-style dog and a strawberry milkshake. 🍓🍋 The cucumber lemonade was honestly gross lol it reminded me of pickle juice. 🤣 The mac and cheese was alright. My husband said he enjoyed his hot dog. 🌭 Overall, the food was alright. We sat outside to eat our food and the sitting area was clean. I wouldn't mind coming here again.

I was not too impressed with their chilli cheese hot dogs. The chilli cheese fries were good. If your craving hot dogs there are better options.

The food is always great and the pricing is always fair! But the service at this location could use some work. Some employees seem very uncaring and make it feel like a chore to serve.

Just tried the fries with brisket on them. They were okay. Needed a little more cheese, brisket and BBQ sauce and l would have given them a higher rating.

Ok but not great. Outdoor seating not good. Quality of food ok but not great. When I gave coupons I go there. Regular hot dogs are cheap kind.

Touching food and the money without washing

This place is a gem! It is amazingly located at the corner of the street and surrounded by cafes! But trust me this place is a great chilling spot! Variety choices of exotic burgers and crafted beers, it helps for after a stressful day! My snake and rabbit burger sounds scary but is freaking' delicious! Besides burger, I love their fries, honey mustard sauce and German crafted beer too! Will surely come back again! Highly recommend!

These employees don't know how to rotate from the drive-thru to the walk-up very well. Took about 15 minutes for them to take my order which was just a fruit loop cone. I understand the fast-food industry can be stressful but I haven't been to any fast food place that completely ignores its customers in the walk up registers, with no eye contact, and no reassurance of them getting to you as soon as they can. Who plays usually have an attitude I'd rather drive to Carson and woodruff for my wienerschnitzel fix /;

I love Wienerschnitzel but this is the second time in this location that the burger bun of my chili cheese burger is very dry. It disintegrates when I hold the darn burger. The flavor is there, they put a decent amount of chili on the food but their bread provider is lacking.

Cheap food no specials 16 dollars for 6 hotdogs seems like a rip off. We asked the cashier for any specials she said no each hot dog is 2.50 plus tax ....a pack of hotdogs is 2.50 at the store.

The place is very UNSANITARY, every single employee in there was handling food with NO gloves on! They're all touching and handling money, counter tops, etc..I personally think that's very UNSANITARY! don't get me wrong, the customer service was/is great, but I WILL NOT BE BACK TO CONSUME ANYTHING until they start wearing at least gloves when handling FOOD!!

There were lots of homeless people around panhandling. One guy was on th counter scratching sores and the staff slid people's food right across that area without ever sanitizing it when the guy left. Building looked dirty and in desperate need of repair from the outside.

Horrible service waited 20 minutes from the time I ordered for my food but the owner will never know that because she came out of the office to collect my credit card information while they were still cars in front of me so it looks like they closed out my order within 10 minutes. Never again!!! 😠

I stopped here around 7:30pm and was told they were only taking drive thru orders. Seeing as I only had my Chevrolegs I was unable to get anything but they got rid of their banana splits so no real reason to go there now anyway

The manager was rude. They turned off the ice cream maker early I asked what time do they close it. He said 12. I asked why so early today (given that it was 11:30pm) he responded, because. The manager and I choose when it gets cleaned.

Sad to update this review to so negative. This is the second time I have come around 11pm to 1130pm and they have been closed. If you close earlier, you need to update your Google if you close earlier than 12pm. It is so frustrating to drive all the way there when you should be open and not be served.

Check your food they shorted me about 7 dollars worth of food go back say I haven't got the food I paid for and get every excuse and reason made known to man about why they simply won't give me the food I paid for. I was given the wrong order last time I went there about 3 weeks ago and I tried to call them and my calls kept going to voice mail. I emailed the company and got a call pretty soon after I emailed and they had the same problem and they couldn't get the store to answer. They told me the next time I went back there to let them know that I had got the wrong order and they would give me it. She told me that was all I had to do so I just went back there and they wouldn't give it to me so that's 2 trips and not the right meal so I give up and won't go there no more.

customer service is horrible. everyone at the restaurant seems like they have an attitude and don't want to be there. Our is never completed correctly and have to request hot fries because they will try and fill your order with old cold fries.

I did not receive part of my order and the service was really slow for a drive-thru. I would rather drive to the other location on Carson & Woodruff. They're farther from my house but I don't have the problems that I did tonight.

Received food via delivery. The polish dog was grey, looked old and overcooked, temperature was cold. Cheese and onion were also cold from fridge. Mustard/ketchup requested were missing. Fries were barely warm but were crisp and not stale. And you can't really mess up a Coke - can you? Sadly, overall the food did not meet expectations - the sandwich (main meal) was seriously sub par.

Super slow service, only ordered a Chilli cheese burger and fries and had to wait almost 30 mins even tho Noone else was in line. Better off eating 711 old food that sits In the warmer for 3 days.

always check your bags whenever you order drive thru ... coz this place always messed it up and always happen when im rushing to go home so whenever ill check my bag its too late. so excited to try their new brisket sandwich .they charged my card but didnt end up having the sandwich in my bag. so sad :(

Worst customer service! After waiting for over five minutes and workers seeing someone was at the walk-up window. "Sara" one of the cashiers said they weren't taking any walk-up orders only Uber Eats, Doordash, etc. Unfortunately, no signage anywhere said that. I told her that if they had put up a sign advising customers that I wouldn't have wasted my time ordering at the walk-up window. She proceeds to walk away and never returned. They left me standing there for another five minutes and I proceeded to ask for the manager. Manager "Johnny" came to the window and I told him what had happened and by this time I was pretty upset at the poor customer service and I asked for the name of their supervisor and corporate number which he told be to look it up online. This place has very poor customer service and poor management skills when dealing with customers. I won't be returning to this Wienerschnitzel ever again and will share my experience with friends and family.

I came at 9:30pm on a Sunday night. I understand that they were busy, but the food was bad. We didnt go through the drive thru because it was packed. We went to the window, ordered, and once we got our food, it was cold. The cheese wasn't even semi melted inside our chili cheese burger. There were pieces of onions in my bun, like if they had tried using the bun before, they were also very stingy with the chili. Usually food tastes better than usual when you're hungry, but this disappointed my hunger and craving.

Wish there had been anything less then one star to rate them. Horrible service. Rude manager. With zero costomer service skills. Has no idea how to talk to costumers. First he messes up our order then doesnt take responsibility, when advised that he made a mistake and asked to replace, then despite the food being ready right in front of me,he refused to give it to me and said he is busy. I ordered a 20piece jalapeños poppers and received 20 mini corn dogs and went back to exchange them. When I received the 20 jalapeños poppers they gave them to me raw. I am not pleased with the food quality. It's not cheap and for me to not receive my food .

No one was wearing gloves while preparing the food. They were touching food with bare hands. I was so grossed I couldn’t eat my food. Who knows what they’ve been scratching and touching before making my food 🤮 don’t come here!

This place is horrible I got the stomach flu eating from here on 2 separate occasions a month apart I think they keep the unused chili over night and give it first thing to the next day guest right when they open and it didnt taste right would never go back here

This one REALLY saddens me because I love Wienerschnitzel however this specific location is HORRIBLE!!!! The staff is lazy and ignore you while they just stand around and talk to each other and play on their phones even though the drive-thru was backed up and the walk-up counter had multiple people waiting to order as well as door dashers waiting for their pick-ups smh. Every other location Ive been to was professional and prompt but I wouldve given this location 0 Stars if I could. After waiting for a little over an hour for a shake and one luau dog this is what they gave me..... Where's the onion? Where's the bacon? Is that supposed to be pineapple??? Look up what its supposed to look like and tell me... Would you have lost your appetite like I did? I couldn't even talk myself into consuming whatever that was.
