went a couple months ago, maybe around November or December. never got the chance to put a review. 100% I will come back to this location if I ever get the chance. One of the girls loaded the bowl up for me and my sister. left me full after eating just half tbh. However, the guy before us started taking videos/instagram boomerangs, pretty weird of this whole trend going around so the worker immediately understood that I didn’t like how he recorded just so he can get more portion size than what was being given. At this time, I think I also saw another girl being trained by the manager or supervisor (?). I didn’t see her name but she seemed pretty nice. It was mainly ladies working that day. The area is really clean as well, and fast service if you ask me. ☺️
I like the food at Chipotle, and I will always be a customer. This particular facility is quick and easy in and out. No complaints. However, I would like to voice my opinion about the charge for cheese. I didn't realize, there was a $1.60 charge for cheese. I think the cheese should be included with the price of the meat bowl. I just can't believable the cheese is priced additionally. SMH See photo = queso blanco Why is it in Spanish? Is this a desquise?
Signal hill location!!! I’m very disappointed with my experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill. I paid $15 for a bowl, and the portion I received was absolutely not worth the price. I ordered barbacoa, and there was barely any in my bowl. It felt like I was paying mostly for rice and beans. For the young lady who prepared my order—this was a really poor job on portioning. Customers shouldn’t have to beg for a reasonable serving, especially at this price. Overall, this felt like a rip-off. I expect better value and consistency for what I’m paying. I hope management addresses this, because this experience makes me think twice about coming back. Date 2/11/2026 approx time 8:20pm
Genuinely hope this reaches the right audience, I love the chicken burrito w queso from here. Absolutely love the food. Many times I don’t come even when I want the food because I don’t feel like they’re going to portion properly. This company boasts about protein packed … how can you represent that when the employees literally give crumbs of the meat and will stack the rice and beans to make it seem full. For a long time I stopped coming bc of bad experiences with employees and portioning but the food is awesome. It’s so disappointing when I go in to order I wait , and as they are portioning they literally shake off the spoon the meat . I pay for double and I get a sad extra pieces of chicken . Sometimes I just say never mind and walk out , disappointed because I know the food will be good but I’m not going to pay 18-20$ for rice beans and tortilla . Please PLEASE speak to staff about portioning you guys just came out with the chicken cups. Please from the bottom of my heart I WANT TO COME BACK but the portions NEED TO BE FIXED. Please speak to employees about attitude when getting feedback on the product that a customer is going to pay for, if the burrito cost me 25$ but I knew it was properly portioned I would pay . Cost is not the problem not the taste the portion and service is , I hope this gets resolved because I know people who say the same thing and don’t like going to chipotle with me because of it because I always want chipotle .
Horrible! The Hispanic was rude and rushing me when I was just explaining to her my order. She had the nerve to roll her eyes and say Jesus! Huh? This is why customers fight back verbally because some of these cashiers are rude on purpose. Avoid this location until they hire a new staff. Yes I spoke to manager,I will get replacement but I’m sure she will still work there. I wish I would have recorded everything
Do not eat here. Guacamole was brown. Food was saltyyyyyyyyy ! I couldn’t even eat it. When I brought it up the guy tried to gaslight me into thinking it was salty because of the combination I asked for, he stated, “the meat has salt, the beans have salt, etc”. I wanted a refund not another disgusting bowl and they looked at me like I was bothering them. $44 for two bowls and two drinks and it was disgusting. Shame on this location. I was hungry too.
Please do not go to this location. Portion size is horrible. Like I didn’t believe how bad it was. Manager is not friendly either
everytime i come here around 10, they never wanna have certain stuff available. lazy staff this location needs to do better. never again
Last 2 times ive gone here, they have gucamole left over from the night before ( brown ) veggies are overcooked and soggy, little to no meats available, all steak bites were fat/chewy, but yet this location is always empty? And always out of proteins. Lol. 24 dollars for mediocre bowls- bums me out.
Very clean and this location is usually not crowded. After many chances I've noticed that Chipotle as a whole needs to restructure how they do some things not just this location. What upsets me the most is that about half the time I go, no one is behind me and they are always rushing me to make my decisions and looking inconvenienced whenever I ask to add to my food. Is there a problem that I want to add lettuce or corn to my burrito? Can I have more than 1 second to choose between a bowl or a burrito? I'm going to give you my money you are not doing me any favors. I'm a nice and patient person, I've worked retail and fast food so I try to avoid conflict in person to not make a scene, so I go on Google Maps to share genuine frustration when I keep experiencing disrespect, I'm just trying to feed myself at the end of the day can it at least be a pleasant experience?
I just walked out of there at 3:08 pm 7/3/25 and had the worst customer service. There wasn't food in stock, there weren't any customers yet the lady taking the order had no patience and a BAD attitude. Her name starts with an R. Do noth recommend coming here if she is going to be your server. CUSTOMER SERVICE needs to be worked on!
I ordered a pickup order on Uber Eats from this location. This would be my first time eating from this location and it will be my last. My guacamole tasted awful, the best way I can describe how it tasted is dirty dishwater, it tasted nothing like guacamole. On top of that I ordered my burritos with brown rice and got them with white rice. Don’t order from this location you’re better off going to the Lakewood Blvd location.
We ordered two items. He added sofritas when we asked for veggie which includes free guac. Then we asked if we could have guac since they added something we didn’t ask for. They threw out the entire order without answering our question. We just wanted a yes or no, not for them to waste all that food which hurts Chipotle’s bottom line and the environment. We didn’t want the order thrown out but the poor customer service is apparent at this location.
Will never come here again. Here well before they close. The guy scoops the portions as if I was a child. Ion too of that they try to rush everyone even though they close in 35 /40 minutes. Doesn’t wrap my burrito and has the food sitting on an unclean table. Unprofessional, and don’t care about helping customers when they aren’t even closed to closing. Chipotle needs better staffing and customer service . Manager could care less and it shows.
Is this perhaps the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. I ordered online. When I arrived at my pick up time, the order had not even been started. They were not busy. There was one person in line and one group of 3 eating at a table. As I waited an additional 15 MINUTES for my food…I watched them charge the single woman in line for an adult meal when she ordered a children’s meal, watched the people eating ask for forks and instead of restocking the forks they just….handed this man one fork for a table of 3 people. He had to ask for 2 more. They did not refill the forks the entire 15 minutes I was there. I ordered a bowl with extra beans. Because it took him 15 minutes to make my order I double checked and there were approximately 12 beans in the entire bowl. Asked for more beans and he said “it’s just below the rest of the stuff” so I got a knife and moved the food around to show him (please recall that there are no forks). He also did not give me my cup for my soda and I had to go back and ask for it. Finally, the trash area only had a recycling bin and was a mess. The fact that they messed up all 3/3 customer experiences is ridiculous as there were at least 3 employees working. DO BETTER!!!!
Very disappointed overall - went to chipotle when we saw that store closed at 11 - we walked in a few minutes before 9 to not be greeted , lobby being shut down , restrooms blocked so it was obvious we would have to now eat in our car , I order my food , my son starts to order his and they have no steak , it’s not even 9 we ask if they would make more they said no , not once did they mention they were out of ingredients, had we known this we definitely wouldn’t have ordered anything , but since I had already ordered my food we chose something else which my son didn’t care for. When asked about the lobby being closed they shrugged their shoulders and didn’t seem to care about anything other than shutting down the place. I called customer service and they were so generous to email me with a free soda coupon. It’s so nice to see how much we are valued as customers. I’ve never felt so insulted , at that rate why even bother sending anything. Did I forget to mention because your store didn’t allow dine in we were forced to buy bigger drinks because we obviously weren’t welcomed there to walk back in to refill our drinks. For the amount of money we spend this whole experience was a slap in the face and customer service and their coupons for a single soda made it worse
My girlfriend got the barbacoa yesterday evening and she’s been sick with food poisoning all night…coming from both sides, and is miserable. Poor quality care for their food/product and poor food/product storage procedures obviously. How does a business like Chipotle serve low grade products. Disgusting. Pass. Don’t come here. Get a manager from corporate here immediately to tighten this place up. I worked at Chipotle for a couple years, about a decade ago, and the location I was at was striving to achieve Restaurateur, so I know the possibilities. Fix it, or you can kiss this location goodbye.
FILTHY! FILTHY! FILTHY!!! This is a place of business that serves food! There were about 6-7 employees behind the counter & everyone seemed 2 be blind 2 the fact that the restaurant was dirty! I'm a traveling sales representative, therefore; I've been 2 many Chipotles. This location is one of the worst that I've seen. Also, customer service was just as horrible! Had I read the reviews prior, I definitely would've skipped this place! I'll never go back.. If the front of the restaurant looks this bad, can you imagine how they're handling the food!? Don't take any chances, go elsewhere! (I didn't order any food) we left as soon as we saw the mess. These photos don't do any justice.
I ordered a rice and bean burrito only and I had prefaced that while she was making it, so I assumed it would be made a lil beefier, but I got the tiniest burrito and they still charged me 8.75, and then I felt kinda cheated so I had my boyfriend go up and ask if it should be that small and they lady up front said “that’s normal sized” lol waste of money and time
