Unique slushie style bubble tea drinks. We ordered the coconut mango boom and it was delicious. Love the sago and jelly that adds a unique texture, along with the slushie drink base. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.

This is my second order from Heytea in Long Island City. I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom Tea and the Crisp Grape Boom, both with a preference for sweet bliss. I highly recommend opting for the 650ml size and placing the drinks in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to enhance their flavor and texture significantly. If you prefer not to wait, I advise against placing your order after 7 PM, as there may be a longer wait time during that period.

Fresh fruit and regular tea option. Price is quite steep but still good value considering quality of ingredient. No seating available as this place is take out only. Beware of long line - we waited more than 20 minutes for our order.

The boba tea shop had a cozy atmosphere with friendly service. It was a bit busy when I went so had to wait a while for my drink to be orepared but they have some convenient benches to sit on while you wait. I enjoyed boba milk tea which was more on the creamy side which I prefer!

Haytea, as a representative of China's new-style tea drinks, is very popular with a large and loyal fan base. The recently opened LIC location has quickly become the most popular tea shop in the area, with long lines of customers from morning until night. I’ve tried several of their tea drinks and can say their popularity is well-deserved. Firstly, they offer a wide variety of fruit teas, and the fresh quality of the tea and fruit is evident in the taste. The sweetness is just right, and the combination of the milk foam, fruit, and tea is well-balanced, with no single ingredient overpowering the others—perfect for a refreshing summer treat. Secondly, their product innovation is strong, with seasonal fruit teas regularly introduced, allowing customers to enjoy the flavors of the season. Thirdly, the shop operates very efficiently. Although the lines can be long, they move quickly, and the staff manages the crowd well, keeping things orderly. The outdoor waiting area has shaded spots, so it doesn’t feel too exhausting. After placing your order, you can expect to receive your drink within 10-30 minutes, which is faster than anticipated. While the new location currently doesn’t offer pre-orders, visiting in the afternoon or evening can help avoid long waits. Fourthly, the staff is very friendly and skilled at taking and fulfilling orders, maintaining smooth operations even during peak times without the confusion and mistakes that can occur at other popular spots. Overall, I highly recommend Haytea to those living in LIC or anyone interested in trying it out, even if it means traveling to get there. You won’t be disappointed. I hope they continue to thrive and become a new community hub in LIC, boosting the vibrancy of the surrounding area.

Love heytea, but not more than my friend- she’s a real heytea addict, always ordering at least 4 drinks just for herself. There’s always a long wait time though, better to order online beforehand.

Great place! The staff is excellent! The drinks were great also. I wasn't too fond of the crab (it was too much sauce). The Argentinian shrimp was the star of the show! It was amazing. I will definitely go back again.

Never had a rude employee in heytea who didn't serve my pick up order until now. I don't have his name but I asked nicely that my order was ready. He told me to go check for myself. The bag he provided didn't had a receipt number or my name on it so how would I know. Sorry I'm just a customer not an employee. Please teach your employees to be more respectful, cause he just ruined my day.

This location is very inconsistent every time my boyfriend and I have ordered here in the last few months it has tasted wrong. I have been coming to this location for two years. I ordered long jing tea cloud at other locations and it is excellent. I order it here it tasted like water! I asked them to please correct it and they do but it just tastes like sugar water theres zero tea taste. Im not sure what the issue is but I feel like the workers are not properly trained. Sorry but this is the 3rd time this happened to me at this location. ; (

I really don’t like doing these types of reviews but…I just waited 30 minutes for a very mid Jasmine Milk Tea drink. The only reason I didn’t give it a 1 star is because the employees did look overwhelmed and tried their best with the rush of delivery orders. Luckily I was done with work for the day and didn’t have anything else planned, but waiting 30-40 minutes for a single drink in NYC is unacceptable, especially given that there were no signs/indicators letting you know that there may be longer than expected wait times. The store should implement that into their POS system or have visible and large postage somewhere to keep the expectations right. If I had known the wait was going to be more than 10 minutes, I would’ve came back another time or ordered through the app and came back. I don’t really plan on coming back, but if you are interested in trying the new Heytea drinks, might I suggest making the trip on the 7 train to flushing where the store there is much more efficient, or I recommend ordering ahead of time for pickup. Taste: The drink itself was alright, the jasmine milk tea definitely tasted the way you expected to, and the pistachio foam was also okay. Nothing to go crazy about but it was just fine. Perhaps it was the long buildup to get to the drink that diminished its overall value.

I visited for the second time today. The milk tea and bubble tea are not much different from other places. The last time I came, there weren’t many people, but it still took over 10 minutes to get my drink. This time, it was really crowded, and I had to wait 15 minutes for my drink. Today, the shop felt like total chaos. It seems like the place isn’t being managed properly. The staff were working very hard, but it looked like they couldn’t keep up with the number of orders. A single milk tea costs nearly 9 dollars, which isn’t reasonable either. I really don’t want to wait 15 minutes just to get one drink. 😮‍💨

Can y'all stop abusing your workers? This is not the only event but when it was >100 degrees in the summer there was no AC for all 15 workers crammed in there either

The coconut mango bloom I got had very little mango??? I've gotten it from other heytea's before and it has never been like this

Best Used to be my favorite tea brand Bad Why having deals and then tell people you “sold out” when they come, wasted my time to come. And having tons of “preordered drinks” on the table unpick??? Worst experience, never come back to this store.

I found a bug in my drink and it was disgusting… A big piece of the body was stuck to the side of the cup, and there were smaller pieces floating on top of the cream. I felt sick the moment I realized what it was. This is a serious hygiene problem and it honestly made me lose confidence in this location. I threw the whole drink out right away. I hope the store actually looks into this because no customer should ever have to deal with something like this.

The coconut mango boom at Hey Tea is good, but the service is very slow. I ended up waiting 40 minutes for one drink even though the shop was empty. In NYC, no one can afford that kind of wait. I won’t be coming back.
