I met up with a Creator from Ytube at Cracker Barrel. The young lady who waited on us was so kind and did not rush us! The food was fresh and yummy. Cost was great too. I only wish they offered a Smaller plate all day for Seniors. Plan to meet back there on her return. Home trip!

I love going to the cracker barrel on our trips from CA, we don't have them there. I love the breakfasts', the blue berry pancakes are delicious! I've had the fried fish and chips, yum and this last time I had the senior meat loaf and it was real good and perfect portion. We were going east and stopped in Tucson AZ, we had a long wait for our order and the manager gave our meal for free. I can't really say that I've had a bad meal, they've usually been good.

The store was clean and well-stocked, and the cashiers were very friendly and greeted me. The restroom was extremely clean and smelled nice (rare for a men's room).

The service was great, the food was just as we expected for the country theme. Atmosphere was warm and cozy.

My daughter and I go here every Sunday that I’m in town visiting. We both love it here! The staff are super friendly and we really appreciate the gift shop especially the Faith portion of the gift shop. My daughter loves the bacon 🥓 and pancakes 🥞 they make my breakfast just how I like it. Super blessed to have this great restaurant.

This was my first time here. Loved the atmosphere and shopping. I had no idea. The service and food was very good. I even took another order of meatloaf home. The peach tea was so good. Will be going back again.

So when we my son and I arrived, there was only one couple in front of us waiting to be seated. Not crowded for being a Saturday morning, we felt Hostess was taking a long time to seat customers, of course we were hungry and ready to eat. When our time came to be seated asked how many and looked at my son and said “do you want an adults menu hun?” He nodded yes, he is a teenager now, but hostess noticed the devastation in my face and handed me a coloring menu with the colors “ If this is all it takes to make everyone happy, I would hang these out like candy, so anything to make you happy momma” 🥹 guys I felt bad for criticizing. I wish I would have gotten her name of her tag. It’s people like her that make you want to go back to these restaurants. I didn’t care that my eggs weren’t made exactly how I wanted them, just the fact that she made my, I enjoyed my food.

A great place to go for that authentic home cooked taste! This location is always clean and the staff is incredibly friendly! If you want the best dumplings around then this is the place to go! Everyone makes you feel welcome and all of the food is amazing! The gift shop is great too! Everything is organized well, in the right place, and there’s something for everyone!

I love they food. Maybe not everything on the menu but they are very reasonable with price and highly positive attitudes from everyone. Your greeted by everyone and they don't leave u loitering around looking for help. I suggest if people need a bite to eat that's gonna satisfy that belly, go there and have a bite, you won't regret it.

First time eating at a Cracker Barrel and I was very happy with the experience. The food was great and I highly recommend trying the cornbread rolls.

Service was fast and friendly. The food is good and the restaurant is clean and neat. The general store has a lot of fun little Knick knacks, crafts and gifts for you to browse through. A really fun experience. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped by Cracker Barrell while traveling to Louisiana. This location is conveniently right off I-20 which is great. We had no wait for our table. There were 5 of us. Each one of us loved our food. The server was very attentive to all our needs. Our food came out quickly and everyone got exactly what they ordered which is always a nice surprise when you have more than two people dining. I will definitely stop here again when traveling this direction and recommend it to anyone looking for some comfort cooking while on the road.

Celebrating 25yr anniversary had lunch with my husband today. Everyone was super nice. Food was great and the store and bathrooms where clean. They have some absolutely beautiful Holiday decorations and things to make great gifts. I also found my favorite candy which is hard to find. Will definitely be making this one of my go to places.

The atmosphere was calm and congenial. Some of every nationality was there. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The wait staff was very cheery and polite and I even conversed with the cashiers for a few minutes after payment. In fact, I went back two days later and got the same thing. I has the holiday menu of chicken fried turkey tenderloin and turnip greens with cornbread. I ate it all. So delicious in Longview TX.

Valerie the hostess greeted me with a smile and sat me at a table promptly. The only issue I had was a loud beeping noise from the table next to me. I asked Valerie and she sat me away from the noise. My waitress was Princess Amaya, I added the Princess title. She also had a wonderful smile and great personality. Cindy, the GM was at a table behind me and I spoke with her for a few minutes. Cindy also had an amazing smile and fantastic personality. Food was prompt and good. You all did a great job, and I will be back to this location.

Our waitress was friendly and interacted with us explaining certain things on the menu. She took our order and kept us informed when our food would be ready. When she brought the food, she noticed that my son's hamburger looked overcooked so she took it back and had them prepare another one. She checked on us often to make sure everything was okay. Came in on veterans day with my wife, the restraunt was very busy and inviting as to be expected, we were seated and attended to quickly. Our waitress seemed to be the only one working the dining room, a white lady with a nose ring, dont have her name currently. I saw her moving around quickly to meet everyones needs the most, it seemed like the rest were avoiding the dining area. She took our order, was very friendly and made sure to deliver everything we needed. We ordered two pancake breakfast and they were delicious fluffy and fresh. The price was fair for the meals and service we received. Overall we enjoyed our visit bought some veterans day marked down items in the store and left pleased with our experience.

We had not been to cracker barrel in a long time but we decided it was the best choice in the area. We had hot food, wonderful service, and everyone was so sweet and charming. The blackened catfish was so tender and so tasty. It's a highly recommended choice.

Be patient they will get to you. I got the biscuits and gravy and was not impressed. Look at the gravy they sent me? That was supposed to be enough for three biscuits which were all a different texture? One rock hard the other was soggy and the last one was just right? Everyone else was happy with there meals so atleast they were taken care of. I will try again next time I visit maybe it will be better for me?

Loved it even tho there were a few things but the meal had a good flavor. I ordered the chicken southwestern. It was good but kinda of disappointed. Why? Well, in the picture it shows like a big tasty chicken but... When I got my plate it wasn't, and it was s very thin. So color was great, and taste was good but it didn't have the wow flavor, unfortunately. Also, they took extremely long even though the restaurant was not full at all, very few people so they need to step up on that.

My husband actually suggested Cracker Barrel while we were in town visiting friends. I hadn't been to one in years. It was 8 of us. There was a long wait, but that just gave me time to shop! Plus, there's always a wait at any Cracker Barrel you go too. We ended up finding all kinds of awesome goodies! I wish we had one close by! I would be going all the time! I'm sure my husband is happy that we don't. The food was just as amazing! The sweet tea was the best I've ever had and I'm born and raised in Texas and LOVE my sweet tea. Y'all's tea is delicious and gets 10 stars from me! I never did get my cornbread, so I'll never know if it was delicious. We will definitely be back when we are here again. The service was great too.

Visited for supper 7/3/23 after a long day driving. Super easy access to I-20 and hotels nearby. Due to the holiday weekend it was not very busy and we got right in with no wait. Our waiter was so professional and friendly. We had drinks served immediately with biscuits and corn muffins following less than two minutes later. Our order was taken correctly and delivered hot in less than ten minutes. Everything was delicious. The country store was well stocked and the dining room and bathrooms clean. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

Great service. Delicious southern style home cooked food. The little novelty store also has a neat assortment of items like candy, gift cards, home decor etc.

Overall experience was great, but we did have some issues with our food. Only got a quarter of a portion of broccoli which usually is a great serving. Also the maple wrapped bacon chicken was only chicken breast with 2 pieces of bacon laid on top and a small container of maple syrup on the side. First time I have ever received it that way.

For $11.99, their cheeseburger and fries were really good. I have stopped going to fast food places because of the price. This burger actually tasted good, and large enough i couldn't finish it. Not that much more than a fast food meal, but so much better.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this restaurant. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant was so nice and employees are very kind. I ordered fish fry and country fried steak. These two foods were slightly greasy to my taste, but they were delicious. I would like to try other menus if I visit next time.

I should have listened to the customer leaving as I was entering the establishment. He said that he had waited one hour for his food. I should have listened. After a less than 15 minute wait to be seated. I waited well over an hour only only to be served barely warmed food. I ordered the Grandma Breakfast and my order was not even correct. The wait staff tried her best to compensate but it was clear this is a norm for this location and they have trained staff on what to say about the long wait for food. I was seated at 10:43 am. Food arrived at the table at 11:44 am. I do not recommend the Longview, Texas location at all. I will never stop to eat here again.

Cracker Barrel in Longview has great friendly service. There was about a 10-minute wait on a Saturday around 11:30 which gave me the opportunity to browse the gift shop. Staff abounds in the gift shop offering help and assistance with your shopping. The dining area was clean and inviting. On the menu they now have the new Southern bowls for a limited time and a chocolate Coca-Cola cake. I was interested in the Fried Chicken Benedict Bowl but I settled on the traditional pancakes and sausage. My food arrived quickly, hot and delicious.

I enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel. Yesterday steamed broccoli , Mashed potatoes and gravy. Cornbread muffins. Biscuits were delicious. Meatloaf was good except it was 1/4 in thick and burnt black on one side. I ate it and I would not complain. In my opinion when they cut the burnt end off put it in the trash. Yes, I will get meatloaf again.

They were out of eggs and croutons for my salad. The waitress didn't tell me I had to ask her about it. She apologized for not telling me. Anyway, the salad was really good, the vegetables were fresh and the fried chicken breast was good. My son enjoyed his pancakes, eggs and bacon.

My family and I enjoy eating here. There's a great selection for good old fashioned country breakfasts. I had the country fried steak and eggs with hash brown casserole covered with cheese and bacon. I also added a nice pancake. Everything was fresh and tasted good. My favorite thing to eat there was the pancake which was cooked perfectly!! Our server Is. Audrey was awesome and very attentive to our needs. My family also enjoyed the little gift shop on the way out which carries a lot of neat trinkets as well as some old timey candy you don't see around to much any more. The price is fair for the quality of food, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I would recommend stopping by and having a nice meal here.

We absolutely love going to any Cracker Barrel. We travel a lot and that's one restaurant that remains consistent. I feel they generally put the customers first. I love the gift shop/ store that they have and the awesome rocking chairs out front for when you're waiting (because it's always busy) or when you just want to chill after a meal. The food is always amazing. The coffee is generally good. This time I went. It was the first time at this location. The coffee was watered down and the server seemed as though she was in a hurry the whole time. We felt rushed to order and eat our meal. Other that that, all went well. Store was clean and there were smiling faces.

We typically enjoy our visits to Cracker Barrel. This was a very disappointing visit. Our service was not good, while our server was friendly, she was not efficient nor timely in her service. She was not "busy" per say with tables, she had our table (myself and my husband) and one other table of 2 that already had their food. We asked for napkins (there were none on the table) and jelly (which turns out they were out of, ALL jelly), our food was brought by another person, still no napkins. She came back by and I requested the chow chow (that was supposed to come with my beans), hot sauce, more tea and the already requested napkins. We waited.......my husband got up and went and asked someone for napkins, I went to another table to get hot sauce that had been left on it......she finally returned (she still did not have the requested hot sauce, nor any napkins). By this time my husband was already done with his main entree (that is how long it had been). After we finished our meal...and waiting for her to come back to our table...we ordered two desserts to-go; after waiting for 10-15 minutes, she sent someone else to our table with our ticket and said that they were out of both of the desserts that we had asked for. The food is usually delicious and I was looking forward to the southern fried chicken, upon receiving my food, the chicken was either fried to long or the grease was old, the chicken was a VERY dark brown, and the flavor was not good. As mention above, there was NO jelly at all for the biscuits, and if the server was correct they were out of at least 2 desserts :). They were also out of a lot of other items, but those did not affect us, as we did not try to order any of those items. It will be a while before I will be willing to try again.

Food was delayed and had to ask waitress to cancel order. Didn't charge me for milk and biscuits I had while waiting. That's why the 3 star review.

Quality of food has unfortunately gone down. We had two different chicken dishes one breaded and fried and one grilled and both tasted like the proverbial rubber chicken. They were also "sold out" of all soups. The waiter was friendly.

We’ve been in 3-4 times over the last 4-5 months and just as they are this afternoon, they have been short staffed each time we visit. They are only using half of the tables, and they are not good about keeping them bussed/cleaned off at all. The waiters and waitresses apologize every time about being short staffed and behind on waiting on the tables. The staff seem stressed instead of relaxed and unable to wait on their customers in a friendly manner. The food is still as normal, and the kitchen did get the food out quickly.

We had just traveled 700 miles by car and dinner at Cracker Barrel sounded wonderful. The restaurant only had a few other tables at the time we entered and we received a lovely friendly greeting from the cashier. We were seated and visible was three servers, shaking heads and glancing toward us. After sitting for about 5 minutes one of the three ( I’m guessing whoever drew the short straw) approached and explained that “she” will be with us shortly. ( now I’m thinking, I guess you got the second shortest straw and why can’t you just get our drinks) alas we waited again. We then had our server who seemed rattled and hurried, she explained that she had been called in last minute and promptly offered us the Monday night special on a Sunday night. We knew better and ordered our selections with two waters. We waited about 15 minutes for our meal and I have to say we were both disappointed. My husband tried the hash brown Shepard pie, I had the chicken blt. The pie was not as good as it should have been - very salty and overall flavor other than salt was flat. My chicken and bacon were grossly overcooked making my sandwich so tough I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Our server while not professional or confident was sweet, during our entire meal we saw 4 other servers and a man who I assume was the manager walking back and forth from food side to store side but never saw him talking to any customers. To top it all off we had to listen to the phone ringing about 20 times, a person was standing next to the ringing phone but evidently only one person can answer the phone? Finally that person came and it was quiet again.

I had the Sweet n' Smoky glazed tenders with 2 sides of tater rounds. I get them at almost every CB I visit, and this was the first time they were served in a pile. There was 3 nuggets and 4 small tenders covered in maple syrup with chewy bacon bits mostly underneath the pile but some on the sides as well. Nephew had the Lil Barrel Cheeseburgers, they were cold, but he ate them anyways. We had to send back our tater rounds because they were cold and way over cooked. He had the same amount of tater rounds as I did, so I reminded her it was 2 sides of rounds. She took the old ones back and "new" ones were brought out, just as overcooked, but at least they were hot. It was still the same amount of tater rounds just in 2 different bowls, so I'm guessing they just reheated the old ones I sent back. His dirt cup was good, and at least she checked on us frequently for drink refills.

So sad this is happening... CB used to be the place to go... just shows what a DEI hire can do to a business... I am sad this is my last visit to a CB... food was slow arriving and brought to us a little at a time, had to ask for biscuits and cornbread... only received biscuits and served with an eye roll from waitress, food was not as it used to be... C- at best... dumplings were clumped masses and juice was watery, baby carrots were dry, we were offered a soda to go... this was a lunch meal and there may have been a dozen other people eating during a time where it is mornally packed... the boycott is on... and you van tell in the morale of the employees...again, so sorry this great American home cooking place as been turned Woke

We went in about eleven or so. There was plenty of staff on hand. Our server was extremely slow and forgetful. We never got drink refills and we actually got our food before we even got drinks. Had to flag her down from standing around talking with other waitresses a few times to get sauces and napkins. Which like I said she was a bit too preoccupied chatting away. I've been a server and know that's not how you make tips. Then we probably waited half an hour before we got our bill after she took our plates. We didn't even bother asking for refills or drinks to go.

I have been to this cracker barrel twice upon writing this review in which case the first time was good, not the best but I believe I experienced as good as this restaurant has to offer, the second time I had a horrible experience with my server as she seemed to have no idea what she was doing, giving us the wrong food, wrong drinks and someone else's bill twice before getting it right with us. The food is nothing special as you get better examples elsewhere in Longview. I don't particularly recommend coming here.

Took two hours. We were weary from traveling. We tried to be patient. When we went out to pay, we heard the guy in front of us complaining, overheard the checker say they were training a new cook, they were somewhat understaffed. Never again I hope.

Me & coworkers went to eat breakfast. The biscuits are the best. My grits were runny like soup. The rest of my breakfast was good.

Do not go to this restaurant in Longview Tx. The food has gotten really bad over the past year. Tonight I had ordered a chicken fried chicken dinner, it comes with 2 pieces of chicken. The chicken was only about the size of a drum stick that was flattened out, and they put the wrong batter on it. The chicken was also very tough (could not even cut it with a knife). I will not be going back there anymore

This was our first time at Cracker Barrel as we don’t have any in the Seattle Washington area. We were seated, greeted by our waitress who took our drink order. Our waitress was fairly new which was no big deal initially. My husband ordered a Arnold Palmer (which is ice tea and lemonade) which everywhere we went in the south we had to explain to every waitress at every restaurant we went to which was no big deal. The problem we had was the waitress was telling us about that she got stiffed on a tip and was getting “tested” by other customers lately….I mean I’ve never been a waitress before but it seems like you shouldn’t be “fishing” for a tip or making people feel sorry for the you that you didn’t get tipped. She brought our order out then it was like she wanted to have a conversation while we had our hot food there. When she left she wasn’t gone that long and we were still eating and she comes over and asks if we wanted boxes…..like she wanted us gone so we can tip her and she can get another table to make more tips (or at least that’s how we felt) when we finally asked her for boxes she brought them out but we needed more and we asked for more but it was like after that we were forgot about. The food was ok, my ham was dry and the green been s tasted weird to me but other things were ok. If we are ever by a Cracker Barrel again we will probably give them another try but it’s not someplace that we have to go to every time I see one. We loved the country store that was attached to the restaurant. Lots of cool things to look at. Hubby bought some bitter beer and I got some old time candy for my mom.

I do not like the breakfast here. The sausage has a weird wang to it and I don't care for sweet breakfast. The sourdough toast isn't sourdough at all, it is some kind of sweet bread.

This was not the Cracke Barrel I know. Service was okay considering they were understaffed. The food was just so-so. Usually love their breakfast. This one, not so much.

Honestly very disappointed all the way around in the dining experience. Food took forever just to be mediocre at best. Not to mention below average service. Also there is a massive hole between the two stalls in the men’s bathroom. The store side was a fairly pleasant experience however. I’ve been to a few Cracker Barrel restaurants over the years and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. I don’t foresee us revisiting this location any time soon

Don't waste money here. Food is awful. I've never seen such poorly cooked eggs--scrambled and sunny side. Biscuits brought out 15 minutes before food. Mmm...cold biscuits. Stop at the Denny's five miles away or take the time to drive in to Waffle House.

My husband ordered a beer too go with his meal and the one he ordered off the menu they no longer carried. The second one he ordered the waitress came back to say they had it but they didn't have any cold. He ended up with a soda. The food came out and it was barely warm but at this point we're hungry and just want to eat. Country fried steak is different than what it used to be and not good. We will not go back

I'm downgrading my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. The past few times I've visited here the experience has been disappointing. We normally get take out, but when I have arrived to pick up the food they are out of multiple items. The last time they were out of half my order, and I just told them to cancel it. I would recommend calling in your order over placing it online to help maybe prevent this issue. If they are out of the part of your order it usually takes 10+ minutes for them to tell you what is even missing from it. The food they have still usually tasted good at least. We chose to dine in the restaurant this weekend to see if the experience was better, and it was arguably worse. It took over an hour to get our food, and it wasn't that busy. Multiple tables around us were seated after us, and they were able to get their food sooner. One couple right beside us was seated 10-15 minutes after us, and they left about 10 minutes after we finally were able to get our food. Our order was relatively simple as it was all vegetables except for the grilled chicken on one entree, and there were only two people at our table. After almost an hour we decided to leave due to our wait time and we were getting really hungry, but our server stopped us on the way out to let us know our food was finally ready. We were planning to pay for our drinks, and were standing in line up front. So we returned to our table. The food was overall pretty good, and still warm. The thing I found most odd was that a manager never came by to check on us after we attempted to walk out. I gave 2 stars cause the food was still overall good, and was warm when we got it. But the overall service could've been way better, and it was frustrating seeing tables of people seated after us with more people get their food faster than we did. It will be a while before we maybe consider coming back.

Perhaps it was simply due to the fact it was Christmas Eve morning, or maybe it was just a normal day there, but this Cracker Barrel experience was one of the worst I've had in a long time. And it was entirely due to the food. It was a limited morning menu, but the taste of most of the food was awful. Specifically, the gravy, the sausage, and the eggs. All of which were incredible bland and tasteless. The biggest loser was the french toast, which is made from sour dough bread. It was inedible. (I literally spit it out upon taking my first bite) It was simply a horrible food experience. Our waitress was nice and accommodating although clearly overworked and extremely busy. The atmosphere was as expected and we were seated immediately (due in part to getting on their wait list and checking in via their app). I still do believe their lunch and dinner food options would make for a better experience. But AVOID having breakfast here AT ALL COSTS.

Our waiter never checked on us. The mashed potatoes were horrible, biscuits were hard like a hockey puck , and the cucumber were flimsy and slimy. The cashier said the cucumbers were very soft and flimsy the day before. I never complain about food but this time it was needed, not for a free meal but simply to let the kitchen staff know. No I did not get a refund for the meal.

Don't eat here. From the get-go it was a bad experience and the food was barely tolerable. When we walked up to the counter to get a table, the lady was staring at her phone and made us wait before she looked up to greet us. Bad form. The restaurant was moderately busy but we had to wait a long time for our food. My father's coffee cup was dirty. When my order arrived it wasn't complete as they forgot my gravy and biscuits. My father said he enjoyed his food, but mine was cold. Also, my chicken tasted as if had been cooked next to liver. I detest the taste of liver. When our server asked how our food tasted, I said it was bad yet she never said anything else to us and just walked away. There are much better restaurants in the area, so go there instead.

For my first time coming to Longview I had high hopes for breakfast here as I do at all cracker barrel establishments. This is the first time I have been disappointed we were seat quickly an upside, but when we placed our order it took almost a hour. We watched as people where seated after us got there food and where almost out the door before we had even started eating. The kicker was when our waitress told us as we are ordering that the kitchen gets mad at her when there is more then 5 orders on a single ticket, so I thought to my self then how do you take big party orders. When we finally got our food my side of the family had to wait 5 min long because it was put on a separate ticket.our waitress was very apologetic and respect we do not blame her for our service today.

Today, we came to eat lunch for Sunday dinner. As we entered the store front there was a bad odor coming from the bathroom area. We were seated promptly. Our server brought or drinks and food quickly, but did not check on us often for refills. My wife and I ordered the campfire meal, one chicken and one beef. The meal was extremely bland. We had to heavily salt the food for taste. We did not get any biscuits until after we were waiting for our desert. The desert was the campfire s’mores skillet. It was ok, but took so long to come we regretted ordering it. After we finished dessert we still waited a long time for our severer to bring the ticket. Several tables had not been cleaned off and wait staff did not seem very attentive. Was hoping they had improved but had not.

Bad takeout experience, food was not up to par. Dumplings had no taste other than water. Soggy okra, good cabbage but poorly packaged. That is the roast beef. $11.99 Sunday special was good, but nonetheless.

Very quiet for an early dinner. Excellent service by Alex. Horrible food and portion size. I honestly think they were running out of kernel corn. The $3.50 charge for the broccoli cheese casserole was not worth the amount I was served. Food temperature was very cold as well. They did allow RVs to park as there were two camped out when I left the establishment.

My church and I stop at this Cracker Barrel we had a sweet waitress Kristen and it was 20 of us. We made reservations ahead of time, because we were traveling from Dallas to Louisiana. We were seated, had to wait an hour before we were even waited on and got our drinks. And later our order was taken then another 45 minutes to get our food, except 8 of us never got our food. The manager that was on duty she was very rude, non apologetic. When we were ready to go they brought our food out to us which was too late, we couldn't eat on the road. So she took the food back. How rude.😲Needless to say, the manager on duty needs customer service training again and she assumed we wanted something for free that we never got on her part. 👎🏼If I didn't know any better she didn't care for us, that's how she made feel, unwelcome. I 🙏 pray for you. Ms. Manager.

Ordered pancakes, French toast and grilled cheese. Took an hour for them to bring out cold food. The best example of this is the butter served with the french toast, butter on a hot surface melts the butter is still in lump on the french toast because it was so cold. We had to flag down a hostess to find out about the food. Several groups were settled after us and received their meal before us. Hope you don't get Alex as your waiter you will be screwed.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. It was bland and the trout was overcooked. My husband had the chicken & dumplings. They were sticky & gummy! The only item that was good was the cornbread & biscuits! We now understand why we have passed by this place for years w/o stopping! We more than likely Won't be back!!

I had to come back and edit my review. The quality of food has consistently gone down the drain over the last few months. The gravy is thin, the biscuits are hard and taste like plain flour. Even the hash browns taste cheap. The servers are still great. It’ll be awhile before we come back.

When we are on the road we eat often at a Cracker Barrel. They are usually pretty reliable. This place needs a new cook. Meatloaf was undercooked and stringy (don’t want to know what meat they used!)The sides had NO seasoning, the tea was so sweet all you could taste WAS sugar. The waitstaff was okay. Not great. Most of the employees from the woman who gave us the adult menu for a small child to the one seating us that didn’t speak to us and to the one that dropped the full tray of dishes some of which she didn’t sweep up under a table where two women were seated. Just super unpleasant.

The single worst cracker barrel experience I've had. Cold food, colder biscuits (didn't even melt the rock hard cold butter we were given). Eggs were some kind of french cuisine style, crepe like folded thing that you couldn't tell the quantity of... Finally, the check out experience was slow, no option to tip, and evaded all attempts for management to compensate for. My apologies to the manager, cashier, and server that helped us. You were awesome, I'm sorry everything else didn't live up to your example. Edit: what a sad response, directing me to an ai chatbot. This is modern customer service.

Cold food, butter won't melt on blueberry pancakes. Sad!! Then they charge me like $ 2.50 for a cup of coffee. That's pathetic!!! I shouldn't have been made to pay for anything. No offers to get the meal recooked or done right. Just; Sorry, have a nice day!

Waited 45 mins for the waitress to come out and tell us they were out of liquid eggs for the French toast batter. And they waiting for more. No one in the kitchen was smart enough to start breaking eggs. When the food arrived. It was cold. Eggs weren't done right. Requested the manager. She apologized, and said she would take the items we didn't get off the bill. We ate. But at that point we were so hungry we would have eaten burnt toast. Not the service I expect from cracker barrel. Very very disappointed.

It took us two hours to eat here on Thursday afternoon. We had our active toddler with us and watched all the tables around us who got seated well after us get their food 10-20 minutes before us. Waited to get silverware until after our food came, didn’t get plates with the cornbread (which we had to specifically ask for), no biscuits available, etc. Cracker Barrel isn’t the quick road trip stop it used to be.

I’ve been to lots of Cracker Barrel restaurants and this was definitely the worst I’ve seen. Even the salt looked iffy. And that soup was just wrong. It was a long wait for cold food.

Extremely disappointed!!! We normally love Cracker Barrel, and have been to this location multiple times before (normally for dinner), but after today, I'm not sure I'm ever coming back. We came at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon (hoping to avoid the lunch rush) and had to wait a few minutes to get seated, but that is fine, as I know they must still be turning over tables from lunch. However, once we were seated, we were there for over 20 minutes and not a single member of staff talked to us. No biscuits, no drink order, no "I'm your server and I'll be with you in a minute", nothing. We were being patient, but after the 20 minutes mark, we started trying to more aggressively get servers attention. We were seated right by the door to the kitchen, so servers were literally walking around us to go clean other tables, but we couldn't get anyone to stop. At one point, 3 servers and who looked 2 managers stopped 7 feet a way to talk, but completely ignored us. We were eventually able to stop a server when they came to clean the table next to us, and they said they could take our order. We put in our full order and did eventually get our drinks and food (although that also took a while). The sides came out all mixed up, but that was easy enough for us to sort out at the table. The food didn't seem to be up to Cracker Barrel's normal standards, but the worst part was the "sweet tea". I'm using quotation marks, because the whole thing tasted watered down. Once we got our food, no one checked on us, and we had to once again flag someone down to get refills and the check. I honestly don't think they would have noticed if we had just gotten up and walked out. I could keep going, but overall, the food wasn't good and the service was awful. Apart from getting ignored, the service we did get was given begrudgingly, like we were an inconvenience. We weren't the only ones to get poor service, as we watched the other tables also struggling to wave servers down (despite there being more servers on then there were tables with people at them). And we had to wait quite a while at checkout as there had been a problem with the order of the group in front of us. My best guess is that it must have been about time for shift change, but if that is how their afternoon service is, they should do everyone a favor and just close down in the afternoons.

This is my first time paying without leaving a tip This is my 10th time coming to this Cracker Barrel since my husband's job got transferred here from Louisiana, and I just wanted to say the service I received today from our waiter, Jennifer P, was terrible. The whole time we sat at the table, she only came to the table once to ask if we were okay. She bought us cold pancake syrup, and because of this experience, I'll never come back to Cracker Bar because I don't understand what her problem was. As I watched her with her other tables, she was very nice, but when she came to where my husband and I table she didn't treat us with the same respect. I don't know how she was raised, but I was raised to love black and white. My husband and I just ate here 2 weeks ago. The food and service were amazing, so we left her a $20$ tip so with that being said get it together Jennifer.

Drive to have chicken fried steak, and this dive has the tell us that they have out of gravy for the chicken fried steak. That told us they don't make it fresh daily. Nor would try to make it by scratch, nobody in the kitchen knew how. We will never be back knowing that the simplest of thing to make is not made there. Beware all frozen and canned food served here. Bad dive.

The food was horrible. The chicken tasted rough, old, and not like chicken. The pancakes tasted like they were in the middle of cleaning the grill and started cooking them. Brown gravy had large chunks of an unknown meat in it. Server had to ask our drink order three times and still had issues.
