Opinions de Delicious Food Corner Los Angeles County
Delicious Food Corner is a restaurant I keep coming back to for brunch. Their pork and preserved egg congee is a great (staple Cantonese-style) breakfast item, but a bit plain, so I like to add white pepper to it. The pineapple bun with butter is best eaten fresh when the bun is still steamy hot and the butter is slightly melted. F.Y.I. Don't get the toast with condensed milk to-go; it's super dry and they don't give you enough condensed milk and sugar powder. The (ceylon) milk tea is often made fresh and you can see the staff pouring/mixing it from a 2-foot height at the kitchen bar area. It's pretty amazing to watch them do that and I've never seen it being done in-person at other restaurants. I ordered the shrimp cheung fun with the breakfast combo meal (which is a great value), but I got the rice rolls with peanut sauce instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the combination is and it's more like a dessert item. It's basically like the Thai-style peanut sauce on top of cheung fun. At least for this location, it's almost always full of people with no tables, even just 30 minutes after opening. I usually order to-go for that reason, but parking in sparse in the plaza too.
One of my favorite Homg Kong style breakfast spots!
Online order then pick up at the store, easy and fast.
I ate breakfast here two days in a row and loved it. If you want a true HK style breakfast, this is the place! Love the milk tea (tea base is very strong) and the all I can fill condensed milk. The pineapple bun with butter is very good and the stir fry noodle with porridge is awesome. Instant noodle with ham and egg is very tasty too.
I love this place. Literally everything on the menu is good. My boyfriend and I come almost every weekend and order the french toast, fried fish, curry fish balls and a new dish each time. They also give free refills on the iced coffee and tea. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, but moved to California when I was 18. I’ve been here for a few years now, and this is one of the few places that make food that is authentic to the local cuisine of Hong Kong! The staff are attentive, kind, and can speak both Cantonese and English fluently! This is the place I find my comfort food now, and I highly recommend it!
Ordered some preserved meat clay pot rice, house special eel clay pot rice, and some braised snow pea leaves in broth. Very delicious. Only problem was they left off a soup order, but we were full then, so we cancelled it.
Another HK style cafe in Rosemead in San Gabriel valley. There are not that many entrees on their menu. However, what separates this restaurant from other hk style cafes is that the space between the tables makes the patrons feel that they can eat their foods without really have to move their chairs around to let other patrons to walk past them. The restaurant’s owners did prefer spacious dine-in over packed seatings so as to allow a more relaxing dine-experience. The food qualities are right up there with other hk style cafes in and around the city of Rosemead. The services are one of the more friendly as well. Their deep fried pig knuckles was really delicious and their baked pork chop spaghetti in tomato or white creamy sauce was made to an undisputably good flavor. The smooth-tasting and appropriately mixed milk tea (without boba) is my favorite beverage to drink before I will relish in my favorite dishes there. I recommend people going to this restaurant to enjoy the relatively relaxing dinning experience. This Delicious Food Corner has outdone, in this aspect of service, other hk style cafes that will make patrons who want to spend more time with their friends after finishing their foods feel a bit edgy because of time constraints unfairly imposed by the restaurants’ owners on the patrons.
Wait wasn't too long. Great authentic HK style food. Pretty packed since they look newly opened. Efficient service. We got the chicken steak, baked sole filet rice, fish balls in curry, iced hk milk tea, and french toast with peanut butter inside. Everything was legit HK style. Left impressed and satisfied. One minor negative thing: you have to pay in cash.
I've been here a few times and I don't have any negative things about this place, the food is great, the service is okay even though the place was full of people and they still can serve you with a good attitude. I highly recommend it 👍
Had dinner at DFC Hacienda, and breakfast today at DFC Rosemead. Again, great food, service, incredible menu choices. Lively breakfast crowd. For me it's great to get away from traditional American style breakfast. Thanks
Came here for breakfast and the place is packed! The food is great and we love the combo menu! I would suggest came here after 10AM so there won't be a lot of people. Love the food and the price is fair, definitely will come back
Delicious Food Corner is always A good place to go for Cantonese comfort foods. Love the minced pork rice, with peppers if you like spicy.
Great breakfast spot for Chinese food specials! I usually get the porridge and fried donut combo with a hot milk tea
This place is always usually quite busy. Even so, service is fast, friendly, and good. I have tried many things from their menu, and everything I’ve tried had been delicious!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the pineapple buns with butter from here. Service is always fast and friendly. A great place for quick and yummy breakfast.
We had a big family dinner and the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! We had a big long table outside in the tent and the kids had so much fun!
We had lunch here many times during this LA trip. Keep coming back. But be warned. The decibel is high; u can hardly hear yourselves, HK style 🥂
Every time I visit SoCal from NorCal it is one of my must visit places. Corn beef and egg sandwich is the best Very close to HK style !
So I just visited Hong Kong a few months back and the wifey and I was craving some authentic HK style breakfast hence we decided to head over to the Delicious Food Corner on Valley Blvd in Rosemead. We got there just right after they open because we weren’t sure if there was gonna be a wait since it is a popular HK style eatery in the area, luckily we got seated right away and was greeted by the servers with the menus. My wifey ordered the beef congee with rice stick and chow mein combo and I ordered the Sautee Beef Instant noodle combo with their HK famous Pineapple Bun. The food came fairly quickly and we dove right in and boy did it hit the spot as everything was spot on with what we had back in HK. The congee was favorable and smooth while the rice stick and chow mein was cook just right not too greasy which made everything perfect. The Sautee Beef Instant noodle was also superb with the right amount of curry and soupy flavor which I was so craving for and the pineapple bun was down just right with the butter melted but not burnt. The hot milk tea that we ordered along with our combos completed the whole meal as you can rarely get the perfect cup of HK style milk tea from other places and they did their tea just right. Overall it was a great breakfast experience and we will be back for lunch or dinner soon!!
Very popular place for Chinese style breakfast. Waited in line for more than 35 minutes on Christmas Day, “delicious”!!

This is the original location and has the best quality. Not all the shops are the same.
The service here was pretty nice, and I love how new the restaurant looks. The food was also pretty good too. My family loved it. However, the porridge we ordered was a little watery, but everything else was so tasty and we'll never forget our last dinner meal around the L.A county area!
My family have been trying Delicious Corner from 3 different locations in Diamond Bar, Chino Hill, we voter this location in Rosemead is the best from taste, quality, portion, price. Not mention they have more special menu and promotion for guests to try. As we saw they have: daily afternoon tea, special dinner combo, daily lunch special. We tried Afternoon tea menu and Dinner combo, all food was delicious as its name and price is decent, you cannot find anywhere else that could offer such good food and good service like this. The portion when you use regular menu or promotion menu is the same, very generous and fresh. I love eating hot food regardless it is hot or cold outside, this place is the best to do so. All dishes came to our table right from kitchen quickly, therefore they hot and fresh. Another things that make us love this place is the chef cooking skill is the best. You can see the food here is just perfectly cooked, plate never too oily or salty. When eating other places, I ordered only specific dishes that I know less oily or less salty but in this location I order without hesitation. If you love German Knuckles or chicken wings but barely get the good one in another place then you should try it here, thin and crispy skin outside, juicy meat inside. Drink refill without being asked, all staffs are super friendly. We actually skip cooking at home sometimes and eat here whenever we have chance to drive up to Rosemead. All of us are very pleased with their food and their services. Keep it up your great work!

I went there during lunch. It was busy, which is normal. I got a seat within 10 mins. Not bad. It take a bit long before they serve my food. The food is decent. I ordered chicken steak and my wife rib eye steak. I wish they gave me more of the garlic sauce. Overall the service is good. I just wish the service can be faster
Great tasting and many varieties of Cantonese style food. It’s great services, they fill up your coffee without you asking at all, usually good service for a typical Chinese Cafe. Good prices, Good food, Good service plus afternoon tea bargains.
Cantonese food spot with authentic tastes of home. Happy to find all the favorite dishes on my visit from NYC.
It's a world tour. This is by far the most eclectic menu I’ve ever seen at a Chinese restaurant. One page has grilled rack of lamb, the next features German-style pork knuckle, then Japanese cutlet, Vietnamese lemongrass pork chop, and—just to keep things interesting—Italian pasta. I had no idea what to order. Someone at our table laughed and said, “It’s like a Hong Kong buffet style,” which sums it up perfectly. There really is something for everyone, making it a great spot for group meetups. The place was packed with Chinese families and friend groups, which says a lot about its appeal—decent prices, generous portions, and an unbeatable variety. As for the food itself, it was overall good—flavorful, satisfying, but not exactly authentic to any particular cuisine. Still, that’s kind of the charm here: a global comfort-food experience, Hong Kong café style. The pineapple bun, as mentioned by quite a few reviewers, is truly a must-try. It’s not too sweet, wonderfully buttery, and the bread itself is soft, warm, and delicious—easily one of the highlights of the meal. Another interesting note: the condensed milk in a container like what you see at diners like IHOP and Denny's (syrups) is definitive of Asian preference.
We came here for lunch It was my first time. I like the congee and black pepper beef fried udon. The wonton flat noodles was okay. The restaurant has a great vibe. The drinks are refillable. Great food and great place!
The food is pretty average, nothing special, but not bad either. The waiter is good, getting my milk tea refill without me have to ask. And the price is decent. I would come back again.
Certainly delicious! Good n fast takeout and friendly service....got the beef upon, fried rice, minced pork and French filet fish....all very yummy and so glad there's plenty leftover to eat again.. definitely be back. $53 for 4 dishes reasonable with all leftovers 2 to 3 day meals. My only bummer was no more shrimp rolls, 😕but oh well less calories I guess.
Decent tasting and value overall! Not perfect taste overall, chicken was a bit dry.
Decent food. But the quality of this restaurant chain varies, some shops have better range and also quality than another branch.
My favorite place for breakfast in the San Gabriel Valley. Set breakfasts are a great value, for less than $10, you get a congee, a noddle dish and a drink( milk tea or Coffee). Or you can have a western style breakfast with egg and toast and a drink. For those of you don’t want a set, you can do a la cart. Many Chinese and western food choices. My favorite is wanton noodle and pineapple bun with butter. Parking here is bit problematic. I normally park in the back lot.
A refreshed hk style cafe. 8a-10p. Slightly early closing time. Fresh cooked chicken steak. Usually they are "ready to go" at other competitors. Black pepper sauce could be spicier. Strong milk tea, condensed sweetened milk on every table at your disposal. 2022-NOV update: Great breakfast combo keeping costs down at $13 for steam rice roll with dried shrimpy and a choice of traditional rice porridges with meat or even seafood + hot drink. 2026-MAR Tea time 3:30p after school specials. Time and offers varies by locations
Today I had the jellyfish with mushrooms, with a side of steamed rice and chinese tea. Tonight, the noise level was pretty moderate, but they're not very busy🙁. But when they do get busy, it gets very loud.

Great service, clean restroom and good prices. An improve opportunity on the beef stew plate is substitute the non meat for vegetables.
Once in a while I come here for a simple meal. Their food is fine and their servers are attentive. The atmosphere here is causal. I usually come in the evening and it is not too busy. It is a good place to relax and enjoy your company while having your meal.
Fast service and good food. They have a large menu so plenty of choices. It’s definitely a hole in the wall place. A solid choice for fast Chinese food that isn’t Panda.
We often come here for afternoon tea. Red bean drink is one of the drink included. Food is good.
This place has great food . Good atmosphere and good service quick for take out.
This Hong Kong-style Cafe is pretty authentic and a favorite for its taste and styles. They started with the Monterey Park location (near Garfield & 60 frwy) and expanded to several locations. Fairly consistent food amongst its different locations.

We went during breakfast to get the breakfast menu. Portions are large and generous. I got the shrimp rolls with the sweet soy sauce. Delicious! But they are always super busy, so a bit on the dry side. Don't expect fast service and it helps a lot if someone in your party speaks canto. Over all, a decent spot if you're not pressed for time!
Ate there for the first time. We thought it was good. Ordered the beef he fun, egg plant with pork chop hot pot, and mushrooms with chicken (japanese-style?). Would order each again but would also like to try other dishes. Would like to come back again.
Close by to home and we got seated fairly quickly at 10am. Service was a little slow; might be where we sat because another couple across the table said the same thing about their service. The fish fillet breakfast I ordered tasted a little rubbery, but they give french fries! Tarter sauce was food.

As someone from Guangdong, I can tell the flavors here are far from authentic Hong Kong style. Definitely not recommended.

服务态度极差! Worst experience in my life I came here for a lunch and I noticed that on the menu there wasn’t a pricing for the lunch special. So I asked one of the waiters how much would it be. He said that all the main dishes are 50% off from that menu and the side orders are at no discount. So then I proceeded to order stuff from that menu. And when we were done with lunch, that same waiter came back with a receipt with no discounts on it. I was confused and asked that I thought he said there was a lunch special discount. And he said that he never said that and that the restaurant never has lunch special discounts. At this point, I was shocked and appalled. He clearly told me that there was a discount and the other person I was with also heard in the beginning that there was a discount. I can’t believe that he would lie about something like this! It’s not that I am cheap or I can’t afford the food or anything but if he just told me truthfully from the beginning that the price was at full, I would’ve still gladly ate there and had a meal. But this lying was extremely distasteful and unnecessary and made the entire experience horrible and he accused me of not wanting to pay! This isn’t about the money but the service and the attitude and morals of the waiter is just unbelievable. If this is the type of characteristics of the waiters in this restaurant, I will never recommend anyone to come here.我选择差评
I will never come back here again, This is my first time here, the food is very bad, after eating for a while, I didn't have time to get home, when I got home, my stomach was very uncomfortable, and when I got home, I didn't have time to go to the toilet, this is the first time in my life to something like this, terrible experience
