Awesome cocktail bar with an actual true cocktail menu. It's a rarity in these parts. Everything is well done and the atmosphere is great. ONE thing though, close the door. It gets freezing inside when it's cold and it's more important to take care of your existing customers than try to woo new ones with just an open door.

This is a great bar. The bartender was awesome. The whiskey selection was outstanding. It has couches and nice bar stools. It's not too noisy. It was the perfect place to end our evening.

Great happy hour food and drink specials in a bar that feels like an old-fashioned salon. Super comfy couches - love the fries, mini burgers and grilled cheeses. Note that beer selection is pretty limited, only two beers on tap.

I found this on Yelp when my friend was visiting from the east coast. She wanted to go to Misfits and when we got there we couldn't get in the door it was so crowded. She was bummed and I was determined to find a different place with a nice ambience that wasn't over packed or obnoxiously loud which can be hard in that part of Santa Monica (near the Promenade). I found Bar Chloe and the pictures were stunning with this beautiful chandelier but cozy big chairs and couches to lounge on. There is also seating at the bar and the other seating is first come first serve and you need to speak to the hostess but we had a great time there. We got there at 7:45 and left at 11 and when we got there it was the perfect time not over packed very low key and fairly quiet and we got great seating. It was definitely busier when we left and louder which is to be expected. Our drinks were delicious and decently priced for Santa Monica and the apps we ordered were superb. The staff is on top of their game- very attentive and really friendly! This is now my friend and my "Go To" when she visits and my favorite bar on the West Side.

Seriously? So if a group of 5 comes in, their money is more valuable than our “group” of 5’s money? Tell your employees to welcome customers when they arrive, not tell them when they’ll have to leave before they sat down.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share what happened at this establishment. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a few close friends, including one who had been told that we were not allowed because I brought my dog. She got back to him, named Tommy, that it was a service dog. Instead of receiving a welcoming or respectful response, we were met with hostility and judgment. He questioned what the dog was for and she asked back if he was legally allowed to ask that question. He responded that he was and she responded to ask me directly since it is concerning me personally The owner took issue with what he called my friend’s “sass”—which in reality was a simple, polite question about accessibility and accommodation for my service animal. Based on that alone, he refused to serve us. On my birthday. Not only was this shocking and hurtful, it was also discriminatory. Denying service because someone asks about a service dog is not only inhospitable, it’s legally questionable. It felt like we were punished for advocating for basic rights. We had hoped for a fun, celebratory night. Instead, we left feeling humiliated and disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic decency—especially if you’re bringing a service animal or have friends who dare to speak up. Do better.

It was cute but the cocktails from their own menu were very average (the lemon spritz is a straight up rip off, it just tastes like lemon soda) I ordered a whiskey sour and it was great. However, any good experience we had here was ruined by the bartender (or someone) adding a $18 extra tip for themselves after I signed the receipt. I checked my credit card 2 days after being here and the amount was $89, which is what I signed the receipt for. The next day it jumps up to $108! That is STEALING. I contacted them to sort this out but got no response. So I will never come back here and will discourage my friends from doing so. So disappointing.

Horrible service, bartenders were rude to us, because “tips are included”. Tips are deserved, not taken for granted. If you want to include tips, be nice to customers.
