Newly renovated and much better service and staff than one two blocks away. Highly recommended. They have great tea choices. And if you like coffee they are good at that as well. Pastries and such if you are hungry.

Went for the “Friends” pop up. It was fun. They did a great job of recreating “Central Perk.” My wife enjoyed her coffee and my Chai Latte was really good too. Bonus points for “Friends” themed menu items.

We both love the place! We had our mochas outside and enjoyed the liveliness of the Promenade. The cost is average and the product is good, so give it a try if you’re a tourist.

Really friendly staff (big shoutout to David) and a great place to get work done. I came in due to a flight delay and fueled up and worked for a few hours in the evening. Atmosphere is cozy too.

First off, I feel like the lack of plugs is the biggest current flaw with this place, first it was duct tape over them that the (rather suspicious) guard would reprimand you for peeling off, now blank metal plates. I get that Santa Monica City Hall is worried about the spread of COVID and all, but it’s frustrating how a lot of local cafes close to me don’t have any outlets to charge computers or phones. Also the transients who hog some of the tables are kind of a problem: they might at least have them sit outside and chatter. Fix some of the wobbly tables or at least have more long ones, reinstall the wall plugs, and this CB would’ve as good as it was before tall this pandemic business hit.

Good cappuccino, but only one serving size. You can not buy a large cup

It's an average little coffee shop. I didn't order anything more than coffee so no comments on service. The Mocha Latte was pretty good. No outlets to plug in devices.

Cappuccino is only available in one size and the cup was 2/3 full, luke warm. The person at the counter was way too loud. Not worth the price.

Excellent place to work on your laptop. Power outlets. Big tables. Not noisy. Good food. Good coffee. Nice ambience, fine crowd. Friendly staff. Sandwiches are soggy and there is no grill to properly warm it up.

Misleading advertising and pricing. I received a "reward" from them stating "50% OFF any ice blended drinks" in their app. Turned out, it wasn't usable because in a separate screen that you have to tap to see, in their smallest font, it says it's only good after 6pm. Update: They're completely full of it. Emailed them as they requested and no response after a week.

Worst place ever to work! People are noisy and interior setup not adapted to work. Also I asked to make my coffee warm after an hour spent in the coffee shop and they dont even have a microwave or machine available for that. Bad service and staff not helpful.

Employees are not properly trained. The entire line had to wait for a 10-minute break so they could catch up on orders. It was a Monday afternoon. Not even a busy time for the Pier.

My experience could’ve been extremely better, all it takes is a little Love, I ordered a mocha frappe with oat milk and a cookie that I probably shouldn’t have ordered lol…. I waited patiently for my order while the baristas prepared orders for individuals who completed orders after I completed my order, these individuals were asked their name to be recognized for their order, which I think is the proper way of knowing if it’s your order, but I wasn’t granted the same opportunity, when the baristas thought I had waited long enough they announced Mocha Frappe, I knew it was mine’s because everyone else were asked their names for their orders. When I grabbed my drink the barista said sorry for the wait to confirm that they knew I was waiting, what a way to show customer appreciation. Rude loud black lady told us we moved chairs that we didn’t. Will never return to another Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location because why were we yelled at for something we did not do. Where is the customer service? You guys are mopping without using wet floor sign but rather chairs?

Alexis was rude and the service in general was bad. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and he gave it to me without cream cheese. It was after I asked that they said they didn’t have any creams cheese and he didn’t even say he could reimburse me. I had to ask for it. The food and coffee is not good at all.

The staff are very rude to the customer. I feel like the staff hate their jobs and all they do is to criticize the customer. The security guard who is black stared me down the whole time i was drinking my coffee like I was going to rob the place so its not just black people who racial profile people. The staff and the security guard can't wait to kick you out so to go the Starbucks next door. Its cheaper and the staff are at least human.

there was this horribly mean older large black woman who was just so mean to me when i got my coffee and asked for directions she said oh so u want me to carry you? Figure it out yourself. I am appalled she should be fired.

First time ever my son was told to leave the store because he was holding cookies that he bought from a different store. He couldn't wait in line with me to order his drink because company policy does not allow outside food. In addition to it security guard and sales people were really rude about that as well. Don’t waste your time they have nothing to offer you. They might be of stock of it including their Pastry bags. What’s next they are going run out of cups? Burn your bagel and have the audacity to put in a wrinkled sandwich bag with the napkins inside. You want me to use a napkin full of bagel crumbs and seeds to clean myself if needed or clean the spill on my cup? Is it so hard to put the napkins in the big nice clean paper bag you put in when you order it to go? Also have a side of attitude I was beyond dumbfounded. I might as have gone to Starbucks if that were the case. They would have the order right. Also this was in the morning 😂 y’all didn’t have Pastry bags in the morning? I understand afternoon but it was in the morning.

Were looking forward to enjoying some coffee. While waiting in line with snacks we purchased in a different store, we were rudely asked to leave since they do not allow outside food. We had to go buy coffee elsewhere because of a policy that doesnt allow you to even wait in line with outside food.

I ended up at Starbucks where I was treated like a human being that wasn’t a bother. I hate doing stuff like this but if you don’t wanna be there then don’t be there. I’m not expecting a rocket scientist too make me coffee in the morning, but I am expected to be treated like I’m not a piece of dog doo doo and maybe a good morning. Call me crazy but it’s what I do for my customers even when I’m having a bad day. It’s basic kindness. People appreciate it and my customers return.
