Opinions de Cafe Glace Los Angeles
I had a mixed pizza and it was an authentic Iranian style pizza. It might not be the best pizza you will ever have but it is definitely Iranian style and worth it try. They also have a good variety of Iranian drinks and desserts including Fallodeh-Bastani, Aab-Zereshk or even Lavashak as snack! They even had Iranian style hotdog which seemed really interesting. If you missed Iranian style fast-food that’s the place to go.
I had a delightful experience at Cafe Glace, where the flavors of Persian street foods and fast foods took me on a nostalgic journey. The Mix Pizza was a standout, evoking memories of my childhood in Iran with its exceptional taste. The special cheese and chips were a perfect replica of the ones found in Iranian cafes. Ash Reshte exceeded my expectations, and the Persian ice cream was a delectable treat, though the Faloode fell a bit short. The hardworking and respectful staff added to the overall positive experience. I'll definitely return to savor more of these Persian delights.
As an Iranian living in the US, I have been on a constant search for authentic Persian fast food style cuisine that reminds me of home. Cafe Glace in LA has exceeded my expectations, offering Iran-style pizza and fast foods, rather than traditional Iranian dishes that usually come with rice. Their pizza and tongue sandwiches are the most similar I've found in the entire country. The cheese on their pizza is exactly like what we have in Iran, and the taste is simply unparalleled. Although the food is slightly pricy, it is definitely worth every penny for the authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying their Mix Pizza, and be sure to get the largest size. Not only does it have the best grip, but the crust is also light, crunchy, and full of flavor. Cafe Glace has truly captured the essence of Persian fast food style cuisine, and I am grateful to have found a place that brings me back to my roots. If you're looking for a genuine taste of Iran's fast food delights, look no further than Cafe Glace.
We’ve been to this restaurant many times before, and the food has always been good. But this time, we ordered the tongue sandwich, and it was a completely different experience. First, the sandwich was served cold. When they brought it again, the meat had a strange taste and smell. We mentioned it to them, but they didn’t seem to care at all. Honestly, I wouldn’t normally write a review like this, but when I got home, I felt really sick and ended up throwing up everything I had eaten. I felt so disappointed, especially because the owner didn’t seem to care. We have our own business, and we always treat our customers nicely — if there’s ever a problem, we make it right. That’s why this experience was really upsetting
Delicious Persian-style pizza and sandwiches! Everything was packed with flavor and made fresh. The crust on the pizza was perfect, and the sandwiches had just the right balance of spices and ingredients. Super friendly staff and excellent customer service – they really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!
I like this food I always get pizza or their special sandwich which is the best but it’s a little too pricey
Great spot for a quick bite! Everyone was very friendly. Recommend the special sandwich and fries!
Amazing service at the first time, I went there in person when I tried there different kind of pizza's like Gyro, and some other flavors of their own kind. What I notice is about the pizza itself was tasty, and it wasn't very greasy in which I don't have any messy hands, and fingers that indicates it's a lot more healthier than in chains like Pizza hut, and Dominos. The service was great too a young man, and a women made us feel welcome with their positive attitudes. Last thing was the atmosphere of the cafe was the outside patio with more available seating, and a restroom provided as well.
We ordered Persian pizza from this place, and it was absolutely amazing, truly the taste of home. I 100% recommend it if you’re craving Persian pizza or even if you’re trying it for the first time.
The pizza was absolutely amazing. It wasn’t salty at all, not heavy, and not overwhelming. The flavor was exactly like authentic Iranian pizza. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!
The man working there was extremely attentive to our party, which was impressive during such a busy time (right after Westwood protests). Great service from him. We had a mixup with our order and as he walked by he immediately noticed without us saying a word. He let us keep the wrong order too. There was another lady working there who seemed confused- she may have been new. We asked for water and she hesitated before agreeing, and only brought us empty cups. When we asked the man for water he brought us a pitcher. We asked the lady for more water and she brought one filled cup, when there were 3 of us. That was strange. The food is great, pictured is the special sandwich. Very filling if hungry, and shareable if you’re not too hungry. The pizzas smelled amazing- will be getting one next time.
Café Glacé is a family-friendly restaurant whose food and service truly bring joy to families around the Westwood, CA area. My fiancé and I had a lovely dinner here. The portions are generous, especially the meat, cheese, and other ingredients on the pizzas and sandwiches—absolutely exemplary! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back. I highly recommend the mix pizza, and don’t waste time—visit this place!
Everything went well — the sandwich was amazing! It felt nostalgic for me, and even my girlfriend (she’s Slavic) said they have similar sandwiches back home too. They also have a tiny backyard, and it was really nice to sit out there. The portion was generous as well — one sandwich was plenty for both of us. Just one small hiccup at the start: I was waiting at the front to place my order while the cashier was on the phone. Not a big deal, but I was looking at the menu and he kind of snatched it away while I was still reading 😂😣. He probably didn’t realize, though.
A good place to have Persian Pizza and sandwiches ! Large portions, friendly staff , recently renovated, right at Westwood !
Food was delicious, full on restaurant meal, unique Persian style Pizza and sandwiches, with plenty of yum sides! It's a must to stop by!
Great cute spot with a surprise back garden patio and Incredible friendly staff. Ample of delicious food options. A must try family and kids friendly cafe.
4.5/5 Stars! "I stumbled upon Cafe Glace in LA while exploring the city, and I'm so glad I did! This charming little cafe is a hidden gem, tucked away on 1441 A. The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were freshly baked and delicious. I ordered the cappuccino and a croissant, and both were top-notch. What really sets Cafe Glace apart, however, is its unique and intimate atmosphere. The cafe is small, but it feels like a warm hug. The decor is eclectic and charming, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. My only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars is that the seating area is quite small, so it can get crowded quickly. However, this also adds to the cafe's charm and makes it feel like a true neighborhood gem. Rating Breakdown: - Coffee: 5/5 - Pastries: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 - Service: 4.5/5 - Value: 4.5/5 Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Glace to anyone looking for a unique and charming coffee spot in LA. Just be prepared for a cozy and intimate atmosphere!"
I am so happy I found this place while driving for Uber Eats. Ordered Beef Tongue pizza-amazing!🥰 Definetly will be back!
Highly recommended. I usually go to this place when I’m around. Almost all the items in the menu are hard to pass. Their Ash Reshteh is delicious (the small size is more than enough for one person), and their Persian pizza is as much authentic as you can get.
This is the closest to a Persian pizza that I have ever seen in LA. I got the mix pizza, Lots of toppings, a little too greasy, but still good. The medium was enough for two people. The reception was nice and friendly. They have a nice and secluded backyard to enjoy your meal
We had the best persian pizza here. Don’t forget to try their mix pizza. We will come back for sure.
Been here many times for yummy Persian sandwiches and pizzas. We really like the combo pizza, hot dog 🌭 and tongue 👅 sandwiches! This time I tried the taco version which is also good. Make sure you also order a side of olivier salad. Not on menu but they are happy to scoop a box for you.
If you're looking for the best Persian pizza in Southern California, this is the place to go! The crust is perfectly crunchy, providing an ideal base for a delicious fusion of flavors. The toppings are a blend of fresh vegetables and deli meats, creating a delicious experience. Whether you're craving a taste of authentic Persian-style pizza or just want to try something extraordinary, this spot is sure to impress.

Persian pizza, not so easy to find in the US. It was delicious.

Exceptional food, tasted so close to home. I wish they could import sos khersiiii! Loved it, thank you. We had Makhsoos sandwich and pizza and tongue sandwich. All were delicious

The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Cafe Glacé in Westwood is a small, humble Persian sandwich shop offering a variety of classic Iranian sandwiches and pizzas. I ordered the special sandwich and a small mixed pizza — both were tasty, though I personally preferred the pizza a bit more. The shop was clean, and the staff were friendly and quick with service, which I appreciated. That said, in my opinion, the pricing feels slightly high relative to the portion size and overall quality. Still, it’s a nice spot to try if you’re in the neighborhood and craving a casual Persian bite.
So what’s a Persian pizza? It looks similar to a regular pizza, it has a medium thickness but soft crust, the ingredients were finely chopped and it seemed that the cheese was added on top of other ingredients before baking it. It was very delicious. We also had a gyro sandwich that tasted different than the ones we get from a Greek place, but nonetheless it was good and the bread (no pita) was excellent. It’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t had a Persian pizza before.

I was here a few years ago and didn't like the pizza. I recently heard they improved, so I came back to give it another try, but it was disappointing. The special pizza was oily and used poor-quality ingredients.
Food was really bland and maybe my expectations were just high. Nice place and great service.
Cafe Glacé is a solid spot overall. The food was good, and the space is nice enough to hang out for a bit. Nothing stood out as amazing, but nothing disappointed either. A dependable option if you’re in the area, just not a place I’d go out of my way for.
We also visited this café and ordered a mixed pizza, but unfortunately it mostly had salami and lacked variety. The service was quite slow and we had to wait much longer than expected. We sat in the garden area, which was a bit cold at the time. Other than these issues, the place was okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Pros - Ok little restaurant with a nice server. cons - the food (particularly i tried the sosis bandari which literally was the worst tasting sosis bandari that ive ever tried. the pizza although ok tasting was clearly a frozen pizza that was heated and served as it got ready in no more than 5 mins)
We came here to eat Bandari sandwich!!! We ate a sausage sandwich with just a few sausages, all lettuce and tomato, poorly wrapped in an old chewy bread, Including the wrapping paper inside the bread and sauce. No sorry we are from the south and we know our food! This is a stupid sandwich that has nothing to do with Bandari for $17!!!! This is scam!!! Take your money and go somewhere else. Zero stars!!!
We went to Cafe Glacé in Westwood days ago for some friends, Service was good and fast, but unfortunately the food was not pleasant. The barley soup had almost no taste, and the texture was not like any barley soup I’ve had before. The saffron ice cream was also disappointing it had a strange gritty texture, almost like flour or sugar crystals, and didn’t taste like saffron at all. The salad was very average. The only dish we could eat more than a few bites of was the pomegranate ash. I hope the kitchen reviews the food quality and works on improving the flavors.
