Seems to be focal point for neighbors in the morning. Backyard garden seating. Avocado toast was perfect. They have an app so you can order ahead, but this is a place to slow down and enjoy, not rush through.

Since moving to LA from Austin, I've been looking for a coffee shop similar to my favorites back home. This is definitely the best I've found. Eclectic, laid back, uncrowded, and has an amazing patio dubbed "The Hoover Wilderness," featuring astroturf, shade, string lights, and power outlets.

Just discovered this little jem! The garden to the side is so chill and shelteres, perfect to hang out with a friend or to work on your computer. The staff is super friendly! Would love this place even more if they had more food options such as salads or sandwiches (they do have wrapped sandwiches for sale in the refrigerator). Highly recommend this place...very happy to have found it!

I looked for coffee near my buddy Holland's house. This was the closest one besides cruddy old Starbucks (which is fine when in a pinch) I was in no such pinch. It's sunny outside, but was I expecting it to be not? I don't know sometimes. I'm like, what's it all about? Anyhoot, nice cold brew at this place. Later gator.

Sandwiched on a block that frankly has nothing of interest, this hole in the wall coffee shop is actually quite good. Be warned there is pretty much no food selection or any places to sit, but coffee lovers will appreciate the delicious brews.

I live in Koreatown, and this is one of my absolute favorite places to walk to on a weekend. It has a few really big plusses going to for it. First, the coffee is great. The staff knows there stuff and the coffee menu sticks to the basics of what you would expect from an coffee snob's coffee spot, without being stuck up. I'm an iced Americano man, simple, but a good test of the flavor of a shop's espresso. The iced Americano here is so beyond on point. Second, the exclusively outdoor seating at this place really shines. There are two areas, the first being a covered patio with a few tables and some bar seating. This is usually where I sit if I have a laptop with me or if I'm not staying long. The second is the wilderness area which is a fun outdoor space with astroturf and fun places to sit with both shady or sunny spots. There seems to be a real sense of community with the people who hang here. Third, and not last, is the fact that they have a weekend pop-up that makes vegetarian and vegan Mexican food. WOW. The tofu based breakfast burrito is INSANE not to even mention how good the tacos are. All of these items combined make this a spot I hit up at least once a weekend.

I don’t know why I just love this place so much even though there’s hipsters that drive me crazy and people talking about their pilots really loud. It’s got a great coffee I love the back yard area feel and they have gluten-free options as far as baked goods and that’s always good for me. The coffee Is really strong and good and the people that work there are super nice and friendly and I believe it’s a co-op. It’s a wonderful place to support.

Beautiful cafe, beautiful ideas behind it, and absolutely fair pricing for organic high quality coffee! Love the very unpretentious staff (at a coffee bar in LA!? really!?), the very chill vibe, and just the overall coziness of the place. They have a full espresso menu, great cold brew, a fair amount of wall outlets outside, and no real time restrictions apparently :p Great neighborhood coffee shop...check it out!!

Outdoor space is beautiful, and the perfect place to get work done or meet up with a friend. Parking is free neighborhood street parking, and it is not impossible to find. They also have great drinks, friendly staff, and good wifi. Some seats do not have access to outlets, so keep that in mind.

This is my neighborhood café and a lovely little place. There is outdoor seating on the patio and outside, but you have to go in on the corner and order first. They have breakfast at the weekend (they open up a little stall for someone so the options are often changing). You can also buy coffee there. The coffee is always great and they have a lot of vegan pastry options.

One of my go-to places in silver lake, been there at least 4 times this month, patio is great for working. Fast Wi-Fi, chill atmosphere and great coffees. I really liked the matcha blueberry scone.

The hoover wilderness is a great place to draw and hang out and meet with folks. High quality coffee and service too. They also added more breakfast options that are very good.

Coffee cake flavored with cardamom? Very creative. Delicious pastries and coffee, and ample outdoor seating, even in a pouring rainstorm, to watch Silverlake flow by and wish you were that smoov too.

What a great little slice of heaven. Service was excellent and quick. The outside looks a bit sketchy, but it's what's inside that counts. Once you turn the corner you'll find a quite little garden setting. Enjoy a nice cup while chatting or meeting someone in a safe comfortable area. Now for the best part your cup of tea or coffee will be the perfect temperature right from the start. Also dont worry you wont get your heels dirty the grass is fake. The back area has comfortable seating great for reading or a chat.

Cute, popular cafe. A mix of people working and brunching. Dog friendly in certain seating areas.

Cafecito was so good and the outdoor patio is perfect to read and memorize scripts. Lots of plants everywhere and a really chill vibe overall. Come with friends or alone, maybe even ideal for an early date. They have a turquoise La marzocco coffee machine that is stunning AND they know how to use it very well!

If the coffee wasn't enough, the atmosphere is worth the visit alone. Rustic, earthy and very green, the patio is a great place to get some work done or just enjoy it your caffeine in utter bliss.

A great Cafe to relax outside. They have done a great job providing plenty of shade for all the tables. The cold brew is delicious. There were lots of people working on the patio. Everyone kept their conversations to a quiet murmur.

at 7am the cafe was already open with friendly service and delicious coffee. I got the burnt sugar vanilla latte it’s perfect. I’ll come back again :)

Visited Los Angeles recently and went to this enchanting haunt twice for breakfast. Stellar quiche and delicious cold brew. Laid back staff. I opted to have my quiche heated up because I’m uncultured but it was still good. But after I got home I put it in the fridge and ate it later when it was cold and oh man it was heavenly. Not sure why I decided to heat up the quiche when I ordered it, maybe it’s because I’m from Orlando. But that was on me. See ya next time!

Some of the reviews here puzzle me, the staff has always been kind and cordial in my experience. The real highlights here for me are the atmosphere, cold brew, and pastries. All of which are remarkable. I'd go as far to say they might just have the best cold brew in the city. Pair it with the matcha scone take a bite and a sip and find yourself floating to flavor town lol.

This is one of my favorite cafes in the whole city and I go very often. The coffee is great but the atmosphere is amazing. Their outdoor garden space is like someone very cozy backyard. Sometimes is does get crowed but there is lots of space for people to sit. Everyone is working on their laptops, writing their screenplays, or having meetings. The people who come here are always interesting. They don't have big snack selection but that is my only complaint and its not even a complaint. This shop has amazing vibes. I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't have a backyard or wants to do cafe type things in the sunshine.

I have gone too around 10-15 shops around and if you like a latte, this is the best place I found so far. The terrasse is nice and they are always prompt even when there is a line.

Love Cafecito Organico! Delicious coffee, I always get a cappuccino or iced coffee when I visit. Not much in the way of food unfortunately. I love coming here to get some work done, but they have a small food menu. On weekends however, they do have a pop-up sandwich shop (not sure of the vendor) and they have a nice selection of fresh bread, sandwiches, and toast. The wi-fi is free, but a bit shotty so it's better to sit near the router. I have trouble connecting when I am back in Hoover Wilderness (back lawn area with couches and tables, ADORABLE). So when I actually want to get work done, I sit on the main patio area.

As another review said, food is 3, atmosphere is another star. I did not like the breakfast burrito.

The decor is beautiful. Seems like it could get a bit crowded. The Iced Dirty Chai Latte had so much character and signature. I will never forget it. I ordered one while I was there... then I ordered another one for the road it was so good. Even got my friend to order one as well.

Great coffee, the only thing I hate is that you can order ahead but have to cut in line to tell the cashier you're there to pick up, when there's an unused pickup door a couple feet to the right of the window. I know hipsters love sitting in line for hours but I always feel bad when holding up the queue when there's a solution right there.

Was in the neighborhood in needed to get coffee for a friend. Came to this place and the person behind the register was very rude and treated me like an idiot for asking for a lid. Instead of being polite and telling me over there behind you she gave me like this really bad attitude about it. Like I've never been to your store before how do I know you don't give lids with your coffee? To top it off a large coffee was super small and only came with two shots of espresso maybe I could have got four for the same price not clear because again the girl behind the counter was so rude like I'm supposed to know exactly everything about her coffee shop when it's the first time I came in. I guess go here if you don't have any choice. That being said the dining area was actually really nice and everybody looks very happy there. But I'm not going to lie and say that the help was good as boy she had such a horrible attitude

Coffee is okay, not the best I’ve had; the young lady who waited on me borders on rude; and I’ve only done takeout but it’s not a very comfortable place to do takeout. Probably nicer to eat in.

3 stars more out of personal preference then lack of great coffee, as the quality is fantastic. Prices reflect that, the drinks are tiny and $5 and up. No iced blended, I went with a regular latte and while it was tasty, I prefer blended options that last longer and fill you up. Service was nice, drinks came out quickly, I just wish they had more of a selection, if you are a real coffee lover, this is the place for you.

I really like this place. Except for the laptop people. One person per table. Bring a friend why don't ya? Hours sitting across from your computer working on "your script"? Get a real job. These losers bring down the vibe big time.

Pros: The patio is cute and you can almost always find a place to sit and work. Street parking is usually pretty easy to find too. Cons: Coffee’s mid at best and the staff has a knack for making you feel like placing an order is an inconvenience for them. If this wasn’t a convenient spot to meet up to talk shop I wouldn’t come here.

I wish I wouldn’t have given any tip. I guess that’s why they ask for it upfront…

Awful customer service, rude employee taking orders, extremely condescending to the customers in front of us. Their menu is absurdly built with several different qr codes to scan in order to check food/drinks/pastries and such ... they also don't have any prices on display, and definitely tend to be on the higher end price-wise for average at best food. Got the avocado toast which looked good but wasn't anything special, everything is served in plastic plates and with disposable cutlery, you're expected to bus your own table and wait outside for your food, wouldn't recommend at all.

Extremely rude waiter at closing (one with long hair). An hour earlier, discouraged me from ordering a plate because it would take time to make, and then made rude comments about what I was doing (watching a video) when no one else was paying attention to him. Ruined an otherwise okay experience.

This is the worst neighbor to have! You guys have the worst customers on earth , they’ve blocked my driveway and constantly park in red and block the fire hydrant. You guys see your customers doing this and don’t even have the courtesy to put signage out , asking your patrons not to park in red or block the fire hydrant. Our family has been here since 86 and you’re the only business to ever do stuff like this.

I used to love this coffee shop. I would come all the time and enjoy their outdoor space while drinking an iced vanilla or mocha latte. I usually throw my coffee away when I am done and then go back to my seat to continue working. Today, One of the employees came up to me maybe an hour later and said, “just so you know wifi is for PAYING customers only” I explained that I bought coffee earlier. He said “ well I don’t see anything which is why I am saying something”. It was the rudest experience I’ve ever encountered especially since I did pay and was being questioned about it. There are many ways to order at cafecito you can order online and pick it up by the bar or you can stand in line and order in person. There are so many explanations and scenarios that could have played into them not “seeing” my coffee. I’m sad that they assumed I wasn’t a paying customer.

Was aggressively told to stop eating outside food or else I'd be kicked out because I had my depression medication in a white CVS bag that was open. Won't be returning. Felt weird that I saw other white folks eating actual outside food and that I was the only non-white person in the establishment and threatened.

Good coffee terrible service from brunette chick and curly headed mixed dude w the stash. Come here all the time and the atwater location. I was thoroughly upset for being treated like garbage after waiting 8ish minutes for the conversation with the barista and customer in front of me to finish up. Audibly and clearly asked for agave in the americano and the girl just ignored me. The dude gave attitude for zero reason as well even though our encounter was brief. Usually I don’t leave negative reviews and always tip these guys but this left a repulsive taste in my mouth to the point of me asking the barista that took my order (the girl) If I did something wrong? The only redeeming quality is the complimentary bag of coffee the last barista offered me as a house warming present and I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the other people who work here let alone any barista but this ruined it. At water way better vibes.

I was in today and a homeless dude starting yelling at me and calling me all sorts of names. I had the mind to call the cops on him. I left instead and he followed me to the order window. The whole situation was unpleasant Ps maybe reconsider letting unstable vagrants loiter

Ordered a quiche this morning. There was water at the bottom of the quiche, and had a bad stomach all day. Poor service too. Overpriced too.

First (and last time) here. Doubt the non binary cashier w/ curly hair and glasses and the Hispanic older man care. The tablet at the cashier was facing my way so I started placing my order (then as I’m almost done the cashier says “are you done?” Very irritated Tone and helps the girl that arrived after me) if I wasn’t supposed to use it, I didn’t know, you could just say so don’t be rude.) after I pick up my taco order the Hispanic guy comes outside and yells at me and says don’t eat here this is waiting area! You guys need to ditch the attitude very unwelcoming. Then again maybe they don’t like customers who aren’t white, Hispanic, black, or Asian. Who knows and who cares. Never coming back!!!!

I ordered an iced Matcha Latte. I payed an extra $1 to add Vanilla syrup. Came out to $7.75 plus I added tip which I regret. The drink was watered down, not much Matcha was added I assume and couldn't even taste the Vanilla at all. Worst Matcha latte I've ever had. Then again the Barista made it in like 5 seconds. No time and no effort was put in to making a "quality" drink. Never coming back again.

First time here. Asked for strong semi sweet suggestion, the cashier looked lost and should have pointed me to the menu , which I missed. Paid $7 For latte with oat milk. Wanted an extra shot, but I was told that they only sold by the double. Not impressed with the results...sorry guys. Didi

The is an unwelcoming location during the week. The coffee is great but it’s not worth the morning irritation from their staff.

The CURLY DARK HAIRED guy with the mustache is SO RUDE and is actually ruining this business. He makes Awful drinks and has a NASTY attitude. If you don’t like your job, then leave. The neighborhood deserves a great coffee shop, this location had such ample opportunity do so, and is just a great waste of space.

It's truly baffling when someone in a customer-facing role - like the long, curly-haired guy barista at this coffee shop - decides to project their unhappiness and animosity onto customers who simply want coffee. I was really looking forward to visiting this café, but unfortunately the experience fell short due to the extremely rude attitude of this barista. I asked if there was anything under $5, as there were no prices shown on their chalkboard menu. Their response was, "What are you broke?" I was completely taken aback. It felt wildly rude and unnecessary, especially for such a harmless question. Feeling uncomfortable, I went to sit down on the patio to look up the menu online on my laptop instead. Before I even had the chance to do that - I was just connecting to their wifi first - they came to my table and rudely told me I need to buy something if I want to sit there. A customer can't even catch a break? At that point, I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. I understand that people have bad days, wake up on the wrong side of the bed, or may be going through things, and I'm trying give the benefit of the doubt. However, there's no excuse for projecting that kind of attitude onto customers, it's just icky and unprofessional. All this, at a coffee shop? After reading other reviews, it's disappointing but not surprising that to see that multiple people have had similarly rude experiences with this barista. I wish them well.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with a curly, long-haired male barista here. I was looking forward to checking out the café because of the good reviews. I walked from my hotel and by the time I got there I had to use the restroom. I went up to the window and asked if I could use the restroom before I ordered and he said it was only for customers. I said I wanted to order and sit down I just needed to relieve myself first. He then proceeded to very aggressively give me the code. Mind you, it wasn't a rush, the café was completely empty, there was no reason for the extreme animosity. Then the door wouldn't open and I went back to inform him and he said that it wasn't his problem. In the end, another customer had to help open the door. I was very upset and couldn't understand why I was being treated so poorly when I was genuinely looking forward to visiting the establishment. The business owners should reevaluate who they instate as the face of their brand. Truly disheartening experience.
