Ordered the Nachos platter and added the trip tip. So yummy! Tri tip was very tender, loved the BBQ sauce. Ordered two extra sides of the cilantro crema to dip my chips in bc it was so tasty. Service was very friendly, sweet and very fast. Great experience, would've loved to to try the tri tip sandwich whenever I'm ever back. Safe travels!
Angie was my server and she did an exceptional job. I was very pleased. I had a question about the lobster roll and she explained the bread was warm and toasted and the lobster was served chilled. Right after completing my first water she immediately brought me another one without even asking. Also she applied my airline discount at the end without me asking. I was very appreciative to Angie for such exceptional service. Thank you I will come again.
After a ton of delays ( with more to come) I needed something to eat. This was the only restaurant in the terminal. My server was great as was the food. I had the tri tip sandwich with potato salad and a winter lager. It was wonderful!! Thanks for making a frustrating day a little easier.
It’s a bustling place. Our server Semhar, was kind and very knowledgeable of gluten free. The breakfast sandwich for myself was excellent. Bread was fresh and assembled neatly, plenty of fresh arugula
We got through security at LAX and decided to get a bite to eat before our flight. Hermela took care of us and she was so sweet and attentive. She made sure our food came out quickly and hot, and our drinks came quickly and perfectly poured. I would definitely come back, especially if I could make sure I had Hermela as my server. Thank you!
Wonderful service. Semhar was our server and absolutely lovely. The avacado toast was very good and enough for 2 people to split. The hummus was great as well and the fresh squeeze OJ was sweet!
My experience started with the hostess, Marilú. She was friendly and professional with a smile on her face. She escorted me to my seat and answered any questions I had. My server, Semhar was also friendly and helpful. She suggested adding an egg or bacon to my avocado toast. I added bacon and it was excellent. My overall experience was excellent and your staff helped making it that way. Thank you and keep up the good work.
had an amazing experience at Crowns LAX, and a huge part of that was because of our server, Griselda. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She has that rare balance of being professional while still making you feel relaxed and taken care of. Her menu knowledge was excellent — she gave great recommendations, explained the dishes clearly, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted. Our drinks were always refilled on time, food arrived hot and perfectly timed, and she checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever interrupting the experience. You can tell Griselda truly cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. She turned a good meal into a memorable dining experience. If you’re dining at Crowns LAX, ask for Griselda — you’ll be in great hands. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her service! 👏🔥
If you're passing through LAX and need a quick bite and a cold beer, Crowns is a solid stop. The food comes out quick, the beer is ice cold, and it’s a nice place to recharge before your next flight. Staff are friendly and efficient, even while juggling guests who treat the seating like a free lounge without ordering anything. Despite that, the team keeps things moving with a good attitude. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something casual and quick without sacrificing quality.
Came to Crowns LAX for a quick drink and food before my departure back to Atl. Service was quick and service was excellent. Hermela C, was very friendly, kind and diligent. This is a very busy airport, but they were quick and most importantly kind! I will definitely stop back by for an espresso martini! It was 10/10
This was the only restaurant available in this part of the terminal due to construction. I believe they are price gouging because of this. The food and atmosphere was as expected for an airport, but the price was higher than we have experienced at other major airports. The saving grace was the servers. They were fun, friendly, and exceptionally good at their jobs.
Server Angie and Host Marilou were attentive and handled a constant high-pressure flow of hungry passengers, made edgy by departure lounge crowding and airline unreliability. Food should be better for the prices. Ok... charge a lot because you can, but at least feed the hungry!. Final word: service is excellent. Thank you Marilou and Angie.
Tried this place while waiting for my flight. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is because it’s extremely overpriced. I ordered the Italian sandwich, which came with potato chips and it was decent. I also had a sangria that was $20 and honestly not worth it, it was overly sweet. Service was decent, and the atmosphere is fine for an airport bar. There are no outlets nearby, so it’s not ideal if you need to charge your phone or laptop. The place gets busy since it’s the only sit-down option in this section. There’s a big bar area with plenty of TVs playing the games, which is a plus if you’re just killing time before your flight.
Was at Crowns Terminal 4 while waiting for our flight. Service was good and attentive. But, I didn’t expect much regarding airport food, but the flatbread was tasty and they had the best Bloody Mary. Now, you should expect to pay a fortune when dining at an airport. $182 later. Was it worth it? Well, you really don’t have a choice, especially when you’re going for a long flight, mid-day, and getting to your next destination past midnight.
Obscenely overpriced, mediocre food. Atmosphere of an airline gate area. Nachos didn't have real cheese, just squirts of liquid cheese product like at movie theaters. Sandwiches are like 30 bucks. The only restaurant at these gates. Perfect example of taking advantage of travelers with no other food options.
Extremely expensive. 22 for a latte and small square of coffee cake that was dried out/stale on one side. Wish there were better options in this terminal. Their breakfast sandwich is $23 by itself. Worse prices than Downtown Hollywood. Shameless highway robbery, do better.
The bbq tri tip was terrible, meat was dry and I couldn’t finish the bun since it was rock hard. I was appalled with the quality and quantity for the price. Sauce was good and service.
Perhaps this establishment should consider diversifying the staff in the evening hours to better cater to the customers. That entire staff appeared to be the same race thus evening and it seems as though they certainly prioritize some of the customers according to race over others. The customers this evening appear to be from several diverse backgrounds, black Asian, white and either mixed race or possibly Indian and the crew put up all of the chairs well before 1145 seated around all of the customers. Except for the white appearing, customers and between customers directly next to customers. And so on, at 11:40 and 1 of the staff announced that the customers only had 5 more minutes to finish their drinks. Despite the fact that the venue closing hours are at twelve a m all of the t vs were turned off the environment, and the atmosphere was very much. Were done get the hell out. Having had a very long work and travel day myself, I can certainly understand being ready to get home. However, despite the end of my workday today. I still made sure that I was opened until literally 5 PM. When my event closed before, I even started breaking down. Businesses can learn a thing or 2. There's something to be said about a light breakdown or customers. Can identify maybe you're preparing, but the business still seems fully operational and open Vs such A. Terrible get out of here type atmosphere. When spending thirty dollars 41 glass of wine one wants to just be treated a little bit better than this
Food was borderline ok. The sandwich was ok but salty. The cinnamon roll was slimy inside and overly sweet. I ordered a cup of coffee, it came with lots of grind at the bottom. Btw that's $50 with tax and tip. Honestly if this restaurant isn't the only one at this very remote terminal location I wouldn't even consider eating here.
⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I honestly don’t understand how this place positions itself as an “elite bar” — they even have a hostess at the entrance, but that’s where the luxury ends. The menu is ridiculously limited, and the food quality doesn’t match the prices at all. I ordered one of the most expensive sandwiches, and it looked like something from a cheap gas-station diner. Nothing “premium” about it — dry bread, random meat inside, zero presentation. And the side? Just a handful of the cheapest, stale potato chips you can find at a grocery store, sold here for $3 extra. Not even fries — seriously? That’s just lazy. The chef might know how to cook, but whoever designed this menu clearly doesn’t care about customer experience or value for money. Overall, the place looks fancy but serves cafeteria-level food. Total disappointment — not worth it, even if you’re stuck at LAX.
Came here with my mom for dinner before our 5 hr flight. This was the only source of food in the entire upstairs terminal for American Airlines so we had no other choice but to sit here. First off, our waitress Sherry was a doll, great waitress, great energy. However, the rest of our experience at this restaurant was utterly horrible. Respectfully, they need a new chef or the chef needs to put care into the meals. We ordered the Cali flatbread which has bbq tri tip, arugula, and pickled onions. The pizza was barely cooked, the bbq sauce you couldn’t even taste, the arugula was wilted and looked old, and the pickled onions had zero flavor. Thank God we also ordered a buratta salad which was the only good thing at this place other than our waitress, but even then the bread it came with wasn’t even toasted. Not to mention the music playlist needs some serious help. They played rap/hip hop from the 90s which felt like we were in a weho bar. Just very strange and off putting for any kind of meal experience. The prices were outrageous for the quality you actually get and should be reviewed and reduced 💯. Furthermore when you’re the only restaurant offered at a terminal for people there needs to be a much more extended menu, at least offer a burger or a steak, something with substance. The music should be something of the 2000-2010’s even top 40 would’ve sufficed. John Mayer, One Republic, Coldplay, even Goo Goo Dolls, but not Snoop Dog and Lil Wayne. I never leave reviews but this was outrageous and I hope for the good of all, that these comments can help make this place up to standards of a restaurant, especially being the only option for people to get a bite before a long flight where they miss meals. Thank you
