Eye opening beer selection and friendly staff. Great sports watching venue. Going to come back and play some tunes on their loud jukebox!
A very, very nice experience and the best bartender Agatha she is AWESOME and the waiter Pedro assisting are an amazing team I really recommend the place when she's there
This place is Bombay....our waitress made fire dink happy hour off the chain....touchtunes had the tunes.....most deff spot to do happy hour......them old fashone no joke during happy hour...... Buzz buzz!
Great place to sit and have a lunch beer. Went in on a Friday afternoon and it was quiet. Ordered garlic fries and a double ipa, both were delicious. Bar tender was nice, maybe a little quiet. Would definitely recommend this bar!
Great pub with huge TV screens for sports watching. Typical pub food but they also have accommodations for gluten-free options. You can also order from the Indian restaurant next door and have it delivered by the same crew. They have happy hour options which are great deals. The staff are friendly and the management is very helpful. Also they have very safe socially distant covet protected outdoor seating. It's a great Los Feliz spot to watch a game or have happy hour.
One of the best NFL football experiences in my lifetime. The bartenders we're super cool & attentive, generous pours on their drinks. Everyone there was happy to be there + my Niners winning probably put me in an even BETTER mood. I'll be back again!!!!
Love the dishes. House made pasta. Mussels Steamer. Beet salad. Escargots. Ham and sunny egg crepe. Bread with butter and olive oil. Blueberry cheese cake. We also came back for coffee. It's a nice place with nice hosts. I guess the only thing can be better is that bread could be on the house. It's a lunch time though. I would expect the dinner comes with bread.
Figaro Bistrot has become one of my favorite institutions in Los Angeles. I’ve only been a handful of times, but each time, I’m always impressed. The staff, the atmosphere, the food quality… all superb. My FAVORITE dish is the Prosciutto-Arugula Pizza. It’s really to die for. Some other favorites include the French Onion Soup, Goat Cheese Salad, Calamari (fried), and Burrata. Have also tried the Steamers, Escargot, and other amazing items. They DO have a happy hour, I forget the exact times and days, but be sure to check it out for some discounted dishes. Love their selection of wines and cocktails. And be sure to end your decadent feast with some Crème Brûlée. Can’t wait to get back here.
Classy joint. Loved the service. I really enjoyed the vintage vibe of this place. It was a bit noisy and I wish the lounge area was open, especially because it was a Friday. Plenty of veggie options. Menu had more cuisines than just French. My recommendation, go on weekday, during a less busy hour, take your time, order an eclair and the French press, and enjoy. Quinoa salad and hummus were also good.
This place is a brunch dream come true! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite feels like comfort and joy. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savory, there’s something for everyone. The vibe is relaxed and fun, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends over coffee (the huge late is a must), mimosas and great conversation. Definitely my go-to for a delicious brunch outing!
This place is so fun and good and has such an amazing happy hour from 4-8pm. Quality French food and you really feel the east LA vibes when you sit on the patio and enjoy a nice glass of wine and appetizer while watching the people and cars go by. Highly recommend going here on a date or even alone if you want a nice bite and drink.
This French restaurant is such a hidden gem! The vibe is amazing — cozy, romantic, and the European-style interior makes you feel like you’re on a little getaway in France. We tried the escargot and mussels to start, and both were really delicious. The escargot was buttery and flavorful, and the mussels were super fresh and cooked just right. But the highlight for me was the truffle mushroom pasta — seriously, you have to try it. So rich and full of flavor without being too heavy. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a while. We also had the quinoa salad and steak salad, and both were fantastic. Super fresh, well-balanced, and honestly great options for vegetarians too (especially the quinoa one). On top of all that, the staff were awesome — friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of timing. You can tell they really care about making sure you have a great experience. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a place with great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We were three ladies visiting from OC, and this place had been on our list for a while since it’s known as a local hotspot. We heard great things about the French onion soup—two people recommended it—and now we totally understand why! It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. We got a cozy corner seat inside, and to our surprise, it turned out to be a perfect photo spot—no wonder this place is known as an Instagram-worthy restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes: Escargot, Mussels, Salmon Benedict, Truffle Pasta, and Steak Salad Our absolute favorite was the truffle pasta—so aromatic and delicious. The salmon benedict also stood out for keeping the true flavor of the salmon while still being tender and well-prepared. And the French fries… we didn’t expect much, but they were light, crispy, and not greasy at all. Even though we were full, we couldn’t stop eating them! We were too full to try dessert, which we truly regretted. Service was also excellent—staff were friendly and knowledgeable, explaining each dish clearly. Overall, this place deserves its hype: great food, aesthetic vibes, and kind service. Highly recommended!
Visiting from Boston MA. My friend lives near by and said she loves it and comes every week. I got a grilled chicken Caesar salad. We ordered the Garlic Truffle fries. She got the spinach quiche. Everything was so good and so fresh. We sat in the lounge side. Very very cute. Highly recommended.
Great experience at this French Bistro reminded me of a Parisian bistro with the lighting, the seating, the food and the service. The onion soup was pretty great as was my beef bourguignon very tender and delicious although the fettuccini lacked flavor. The soufflé was a great sweet treat to end my night.
Figaro Bistro Review Figaro Bistro is a super casual spot with good food and a lovely French ambiance! It really feels like a little piece of France, perfect for a relaxed meal. The only thing I’d work on is the playlist. While we were there, they were playing pop music, which, in my opinion, didn’t match the vibe of the place at all. Overall, though, it’s a great spot to check out!
This is a review for carry out pastry counter only. The variety is fantastic, they have so many options to choose from. All the pastries are all very delicious and fresh. The space is very cramped, it’s more like a narrow corridor to the main seating area with little space to stand, and there are no prices. The staff are lovely. The canelé were $3 in Nov 2024.
Figaro Bistrot is an amazing restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere that keeps me coming back! Whether you choose to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air or relax indoors, the ambiance is charming and welcoming. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food is incredibly fresh, and the portions are huge—you definitely get your money's worth here. I can’t even begin to describe how overwhelming and wonderful the entire experience was. From the service to the flavors, everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a warm atmosphere, and friendly service, Figaro Bistrot is a must-visit!
Had a solid brunch here today - to start, the Hazelnut latte with a couple of macarons was nice. French toast was lovely, eggs were soft and fluffy and bacon was crispy… garlic truffle fries were tasty/crispy - very strong, raw garlic pieces on the fries… service was friendly and attentive. Lovely day to sit outside. Highly recommend.
I went for date night and had such a LOVELY TIME. The staff is incredible and very attentive, the environment made me feel like I was in Europe enjoying a meal at my leisure. We got a few items and shared them; you can totally share everything if that is of interest to you. They also had a good selection of wine as well as great cocktails. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Great place for sports. Good menu for a sports bar. Service can be slow when important games are on but it is understandable.
Sports bar near my work with a bunch of big screen TVs and a good selection of alcoholic beverages. The pizza there was pretty good but the fish and chips were below average. Bar tender and waitresses were friendly and helpful.
This has been my local pub for some years now. It's a great spot for major sports events year round. They even adjust opening hours accordingly - I've had a beer here while watching 8am World Cup matches! Food is better than I expect at a bar. They have sidewalk tables that are great for having an afternoon beer with my dog. Good beer selection and full bar. Only gripe is the service can be slow, maybe they don't have enough staff, and sometimes it's confusing whether you should order at a bar or sit and wait for a server. They haven't offered the free pizza during happy hour for years.
One of my favorite spots to watch sports and get a good beer. They have an incredible beer selection with rotating and seasonal options. I would give it a full 5 stars, unfortunately the bartenders can be inattentive at times. The food has always been delicious and quick! Hats off to the kitchen staff! If you’re in the area or going to visit LA it’s worth a look! Even if you’re stopping for a quick drink you should. There’s a very nice rustic atmosphere and aesthetic. Happy hour has some good deals as well!
It's a good local pub. Lots of ample seating. Service is takes awhile and not the most attentive but this comes in part from being a pretty large venue. For me, it's a little loud to have a conversation without needing to raise your voice even when there's no sporting event. Still, I recommend it for decent food, a good beer selection and a nice assortment of games (pool, arcades and I think there may be darts).
Good local sports bar with an amazing selection of beer, lots of booths, and areas for large groups. The food is standard bar food, and tastes great, but it's the selection of beers that really stand's out. I'm not a sports guy, but I do enjoy returning to this place.
Big open space with plenty of TV's to watch the games. Friendly and attentive staff on hand. There is outdoor seating as well. I went on a Saturday, mid-afternoon and it wasn't too bad. The food was traditional bar food. Nothing quite special or interesting about it. I had the nacho burger with french fries. Both tasted like frozen food. This place looks like it could really do well using fresher ingredients in their menu offering.
A pretty solid sports bar with other fun activities, like pool, trivia nights and other games. The food isn't anything spectacular. A pretty broad range in types and styles; pizza, burgers, pastas, chicken dishes, etc. There is a huge beer tap selection, which makes trying new beers fun and usually something for everyone. A lot of TVs so easy to catch any game that is on somewhere in the bar, plus a good layout to see a lot of the TVs at once.
A good place to go for casual drinks and a bite. Their selection is pretty big, so most people can find something to eat and drink. It can get kind of loud and hot when they do trivia and such, and sometimes the service can be a bit slow if you're not at the bar, but if you're not in a hurry, it's a great place to hang out.
Nice quiet upstairs, great atmosphere which changes between an upbeat downstairs, and a chatty intimate upstairs. Great bar for parties of 2-6. Whether you're coming for a sports game or just to have a nice chat with your pals, this bar can accommodate everyone. It's even got some billiard tables and air hockey upstairs for some fun competition!
One of my favorite places to eat in all of Los Angeles! Today I had my favorite savory chicken and mushroom crepe and a latte with a big beautiful heart! Usually we sit outside but today I explored the interior which is beyond cute and tres quaint! Like a great many Parisian cafes you can sit out front and people watch! This part of town is great for that. I had a Nutella crepe with strawberries on it! Tasty! Besides that I had two great lattes. I tried the spinach quiche and it was ok. I’m not sure it had the best consistency. It was oozy. It was tasty regardless. The $5 dollar bread basket is perfect! I love this place for nostalgic reasons but that’s not the only reason I return. Meter parking. Neighborhood parking for the lucky few.
This review is while we're still under COVID-19 protocols. There are limited beer and food options but still plenty of options to keep you satisfied. They have beers from light to dark. Plenty of liquor all of flavors and varieties. The food is bar food - and I'll leave it at that. The staff is amenable and helpful. They also are on-top of cleaning up before, after and during your visit. I felt like the cleaning measures were good.
Idk what happened to this place…. Food was fine. Beer was flat and expensive. Service was fine. Bathrooms were hideous. One sink just straight up pours water out the back and onto the floor. A ball of hair and dust was hanging from the ceiling above our table and I was so distracted by it …. I will go back because there’s a lack of good football bars in the area but …. I won’t be looking forward to it. I used to love coming to this place! Such a bummer. Also don’t get why they haven’t put the booths back in the patio so you can eat and watch a game outside but not on the front sidewalk….
I rated the food poor/fair...but to be fair I only had the fried calamari. I found it bland and plain. The sauce was a little salvation. To drink, I was there for happy hour and I had Dos Equis pints, the happy hour rate was 5 bucks a piece. I thought that was a bit steep. They do have nice TVs and atmosphere, its a good place to watch game.
This is a bad bar in a great neighborhood. I'm here a lot, but this bar is bad. I think that's the story with most people at this bar. They were doing something cool nearby and then decided to get a drink after and this bar was just close. It's loud and there's a huge bar but only ever one or two bartenders who are doing their best but there's usually just too many people to get your drink quickly. And it's a sports bar, so the place is mostly lit by the 50 televisions and I don't know, it's a weird vibe.
I have come here many many time but today I finally decided to try something new (I usually get the mussels which are great). Today I decided to get the duck confit. As someone who enjoys duck and been to France and knows its supposed to be crispy and tender, this was the worse ever duck dish I have ever had. The duck was so overcooked it was like jerky. The skin was white not crispy but was as if it was boiled duck. I explained to the waiter this wasn’t edible he said “I ate majority of it” I said I ate a few bites the rest is me trying to find an edible piece without boils fat but the meat was so hard to pull off the bone. He said if I wanted to change the dish that he would have to pay for it? I said no that’s not happening, please bring your manager. He says he is the manager. I find that hard to believe. He finally said he would replace the meal and I asked for the seafood pasta which is exactly what my friend ordered. I’ve work in restaurants all over the world, I never return food but the duck was horrible and this dinner was planned weeks in advance. Unfortunately this review was unplanned and I don’t have photos of the duck but it was yellow, boiled fat and over braised meat but you can see the seafood pasta I got. The empty plate was all the oil from my replacement dish. My friend had the same dish, hers had a normal amount of oil, my dish had 1/2 cup of oil but see for yourself. ** Note to guests, the chef retaliates if you think something isn’t good. Return the food but don’t ask for anything else, clearly!
