This spot is such a gem, and offers an intimacy and curiosity of a probation style bar. The entrance through the back is very cool. The drinks are of course on point, boulevardier done with the macerated strawberries is amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back soon! Keep up the great work guys!

Favorite bar in LA. Small, intimate, good music, great staff, fantastic drinks. What more can one ask for? Just don't go. I don't want it to become crowded and too popular 😉 Try the supercharged

The cocktails and vibe here are immaculate. Are you going to get the best service of your life, probably not - but its a slammed cocktail bar with a great playlist. If you are there to make small talk with the bartender then you are the problem! haha Get your drink, enjoy the atmosphere and save the chit chat for somewhere else.

Location was a little hidden. The bar was located behind a building across the street of the available parking lot. We ordered a whiskey and Mezcal cocktail which were great but a little pricey. The vibe was pretty chill and they played good music.

Good Housekeeping bar offers good cocktails. This bar is associated with Cafe Birdie. Their speciality is cocktails so Beers are limited. It's a small dim lit bar that provide classy interior exposed brick wall and a full bar marble counter top table. Atmosphere is very very intimate. Music playlist match the atmosphere; loud enough to have a conversation. Staff are friendly. Prices are on the highend averaging $12. Outside seating is available. Plenty of parking.

There. I fixed it. Once in, ahhh the romance. Dark, intimate and just rather sexy. You may start floating thinking you’re Cleopatra or something. The male waiter isn’t the friendliest in the world but he’ll be alright. Drinks are good. I had wine and some mixed drinks. Oh and then in the midst of your good time, they close at 12. So now you have to go next door to The Highland park bowling place. Ah! What is life? 😂😂😂

Really liked this bar. It’s cozy and has lots of booths. One bartender doing it all and making some great cocktails. Went on a Sunday eve and place was busy. Music suddenly got loud tho and we were shouting to be heard. That’s my only criticism otherwise highly recommend checking it out.

A bit too yuppie for my tastes. It's a cool space but the food is nothing special. It didn't taste bad it just didn't blow me away. Service was great, a little slow with the drinks. It's not a place I'll rush back to but I'm glad others like it.

it's a little hard to find but look behind the buildings and you'll see "good housekeeping" and you will know you're on the right track. this is the definition of a hole in the wall bar. the drinks weren't too strong for what we paid but they were good. we didn't get too much attention from bartender when ordering but it was a busy saturday night

Hello, The fries were scrumptious. Atmosphere was acceptable. Candles were there. No dancing. No interacting. Indie. NO MOJITOS. maybe. Air of mystery. Outdoorsy. Bathroom exists.

The worst experience. My bf and I went there and ordered two drinks. We didn’t like them so didn’t pay the tips. But my bf forgot whether we paid for one drink or two drinks so we kindly reconfirmed with the bartender. It turned out we paid for two but the bartender started to press us in a really bad attitude. We felt forced and even threatened. Finally he tossed the receipt to us which is very rude. Will never go to this bar again.

The people working here though looked like robots no smile not welcoming at all, I asked the guy at the bar a question and he seemed annoyed. The costumer service is the most important thing for business and needs to step up. They allow pets and there's parking next to for free and on the street and across the street another parking lot 2 hours max.

This Saturday there was a bartender who was so dismissive and rude. Completely unacceptable behaviour being dismissed and insulted by just trying to order a drink. It’s horrible to know that such attitude can exist towards customers. I will for sure never spend my money at an establishment that treats their customers like crap.
