Opinions de Joe & The Juice Los Angeles
One of my favorite juice and coffee shops, I love this location in Brentwood. The juices are fresh, coffee delicious, but the sandwiches really keep me coming back here. The Avocado panini is a great vegetarian/vegan option and the bread they use has me searching high and low at stores to try and replicate it. Just so tasty! Healthy food, tasty food, good atmosphere both inside and out to sit and enjoy or do a little work or writing. Stop by and park on the street or nearby in one of the paid lots.
Love their open space inside and outside and their big seating arrangement options. Was greeted as soon as I walked in and right away was helped by Christian…soooo handsome omg. He helped me get the app which in return got me a discount and I was extremely thankful. Food was yummy and I loved my power shake. Thank YOU
No better place to begin your day than to come into this store. The staff is always uplifting and I always leave happy. The juice is fresh and their sandwiches are delicious. In addition, parking is convenient and they validate.
Such a cute and open interior. The staff was friendly and my avocado toast was ready upon arrival. Parking sucks.
Tried the turkey sandwich literally reminds me of my favorite thing-Thanksgiving dinner. Loved it a lot maybe even more than Tunacado tbh.. Christian always makes it so so good shoutsout to him for making the atmosphere A1. Always special to see, big big matcha energy always
Juice tastes really good - light and fresh. I didn’t realize all of the juices come with olive oil and the manager re-made my drink for me when I asked. Excellent customer service!
First timer came in for the famous tunacado and wasn't disappointed! Wait wasn't too long and all employees were great especially blue eyed Christian who made my overall experience. Will be back for more food and him ;-)
UPDATE: Huge thanks to manager Ella for the outstanding service today. They take care of their people. Previous review (clearly I love this place): Great lattes, and love the tuna mousse sandwich. Great relaxed beach vibe. Awesome on weekends. Also love that you can buy a card with 10 prepaid coffses for $28. Smart deal. Super nice staff at this location, too.
I absolutely love coming here. I bring my daughter and the staff is really kind to her. They make her and her friends special ‘ice coffees’ which is just milk on ice - because it comes from not mom, she actually drinks it. The sandwiches are amazing. It’s a little pricey but it’s all good quality.
Joe and the Juice in Brentwood is the place to go if you want a healthy, unique, delicious smoothie with fresh ingredients. I first tried them in New York years ago, and I was excited when they made it to the West Side in Los Angeles. My favorite category are the vegan shakes because they have avocado, my favorite smoothie ingredient. It’s a great option if you’re lactose intolerant like me but still want a filling & creamy smoothie, and you know I love that they have agave straws (better for both the environment and your drinking experiences than paper or plastic). The Blue Magic ($12) tastes like healthy fruit loop cereal, the natural color from the blue spirulina is pretty amazing, and the hint of citrus is refreshing. The Blue Magic (rightly named) has Blue spirulina, Hemp seeds, Avocado, Protein, Dates, Lemon, & Oat-coconut milk. Next time I’ll try the Green Gains so I can try the differences in the spirulinas. The staff is super cool, and Owen and Larissa are both nice and great at their jobs, even when rude customers come in. They have an app where you can order ahead, and they have free parking in their lot behind the store, where they have spacious indoor and outdoor seating.
Very tasty carrot cake and marcha Latte. The place is nice, quiet, and clean. There are dogs allowed in the café but the owners make sure to keep it clean.
I like the idea of what they bring forth. They have lots stuff on the menu to eat and alternatives to the typical coffee and tea bar. Like the name states, they have lots of juice with many ways to serve it. Sounds refreshing right? That's the idea! and I'm not just biased because I installed the menu board! I checked it out, just haven't tried it yet cause it was closed by time I got there to replace the old menu with an updated menu board! Check it out for yourself and comment if you like it or not day and may 2021 be the best for coffee and everything else in life let's end the social distancing and get back together with our loved ones over coffee or juice!

I had a very nice experience here. I had a delicious spicy tunacado and a feel good juice! So fresh and yummy. The worker there Ella was so friendly as soon as I walked in and helped me to make my choices as first time patron and I was very happy with her reccomendations! Can't wait to come back. Really good atmosphere to get some work done in a pleasant space, plus delicious, fresh options to eat and drink.
This place is really good. The juices are fresh, the staff is friendly, and it’s a nice, relaxed spot. If you can, go a little earlier to avoid the rush.
I recently revisited Joe & The Juice at their Melrose location, and wow—what a turnaround! The sandwiches and smoothies were not only delicious but also prepared swiftly. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had a vibrant, welcoming vibe. It’s clear they’ve stepped up their game, making it a go-to spot for a quick, healthy bite.
Kind and attentive staff. Love the steak sandwich and power shake! Lots of outlets inside to easily work and chill vibe!

It was my first time ever trying Joe & the juice and it was super good. I got the spicy tunacado and I ordered Joe’s green mile juice which was really good also, it was very lemony but I liked it. I also ordered joes club for my friend, and i unfortunately didn’t get to try because we found a long hair when we took the first bite and it just really grossed me out. But aside from that it everyone was great, 8.5/10. 😊
Non Local First Time Visit The shop had a nice vibe to it, on a weekday around 1:45p, it was a little busy but easy to order and quick. The juice was delicious! I opted for the “Stress Down” which consisted of strawberries, apples, and ginger. Downside is the place wasn’t as clean as expected. Considering the location and price I expected better, but the product made it worthwhile👍🏽!
I have seen this place online for quite some time but I finally made my way to try it today. It ended up being as good as it looked online - I had the tuna avocado sandwich and my husband had the club and they both were delicious. The sandwiches were flavorful and the bread was delightfully crunchy! We also ordered a chocolate protein drink. It was not super sweet or super chocolately...so for me it was just Okay but my husband liked it a lot. I also got the Iconic Tonic and that was good but the drink cost over $16 alone with tax...that's a too expensive in my opinion. On price alone..I probably would never buy that drink again. Overall, it was still a good experience. I definitely recommend for others to try this place out if you are in the area. I hope they expand out to Orange County.
the atmosphere and decor of this place are lovely, and the vanilla matcha was extremely delicious as well! however, the servers never seem to ask us for the size of the drink, and default to the largest size. when you ask them to change, they are pretty rude about it. other than that, the drink itself was tasty.

This place is amazing however there is this one employee Ella who just has constant attitude with me even seemed to make fun of me when I asked for the flavor profile of cardamom vs some other winter spices and was told something like "it's a spice" which didn't answer my question. Not all spices taste the same. I don't know what the problem with me is but it's obvious and makes me extremely uncomfortable every time I come in. Everyone else is absolutely amazing

The vegan shake I got looked nothing like the picture - it was a watery consistency not like a shake at all. The juice was good. It tasted fresh and was the consistency of juice. I had high hopes for this place. It’s so hard to find a juice/ smoothie place that doesn’t add a bunch of sugar to their drinks.
The juice Stay Away Doc was really good and served cold. I also got a sandwich - joes club which was pretty good, the bread was crispy. However, the establishment was very dirty. Lots of crumbs, dirt and stains on the floor and the upholstered chairs were dingy and covered in stains. The other thing is they played Blue Christmas by Elvis on repeat the entire 45 minutes I was there…
The sandwich was overhyped. Smoothie was good but overpriced.
I also usually enjoy Joe and the juice. This is the second time I order a sandwich here, asking it to be hot and they bring it cold. Not accepting to heat it up even when asked the first time because I had a bite and didn’t make a new one.

Super slow service. Staff is hit or miss. Mostly rude and unwilling.
Go to Alfred next door. I ordered food and was told that it would come out - I was on a date. I tipped and not too sure why but the food and drinks were left right at the counter, cold, and the experience will not see a return visit. It's a service industry and without service or at least proper information, what's the point?
Nice atmosphere, However the drinks are completely a rip off. Seven dollars for just a small juice it was absolutely awful and dreadful. I’m never coming back here again because literally I can go to whole foods and get better juice for half the price and the fruits are all organic at whole foods. The unfortunate part was that my dad couldn’t get drip coffee because they ran out of the coffee. If you guys don’t know how serve coffee, don’t serve coffee. It doesn’t make sense because there’s a coffee place right next-door called Alfred coffee, which is a lot better and half the price for a cup of coffee. This place was absolutely ridiculous I’m never coming back here again. I want my money back to. It took forever for my juice to be served and the restrooms were so disgusting there was water on the floor and the toilet seat looks broken.
Joe & the juice in Brentwood… is ok. Feels like a place that’s not busy. We ordered 2 juices, a chai lattte, 2 sandwiches and a açaí bowl… $ 95.00 with tip, didn’t get a cigarette after. And… to be honest- the sandwiches are a bit tricky to eat… served on crisp bread wafers ( think graham cracker- but bread). And the food falls out easy. Won’t be running back!
Customer service is ok. No one greets you or smiles at you while taking your order. I understand how it feels to work in this massive capitalist system and how demanding and stressful things can be, but we’re still humans. Let’s smile a little more and change these environments with our kindness. I did that, but the energy at the space wasn’t very welcoming. I didn’t feel very good here.
I haven't been to a joe and the juice in years, but I used to go all the time in San Francisco and liked it. I don't know if it's the location or if the overall quality has degraded, but all I know is I ordered a panini sandwich. There was like NOTHING inside. It might as well have been just 2 pieces of toast. It was not a sandwich. I used to get the same sandwich years ago and it was thick and hearty. It also is supposed to be hot and mine was cold, even though I ordered it in person. Long story short, won't be coming back.
Juices are great. Food is mediocre. The issue with this location is the staff. While some are fairly friendly, most are not. No one greets you when you walk in or asks if you have questions while looking at the menu. The place (especially the outside patio) is always a mess. Garbage overflowing, dirty cups and plates laying out. No lights turned on early morning so it looks closed. Employees never know what they are doing because they are always new. I’ve never seen the same employee in there more than once and I go at least once a week. It’s crazy! Also, the app is awful and this location is always “out of” an ingredient so it’s useless to order ahead. Never seen a manager and they need one there at all times. Badly.
The food took way too long to wait they work really slow. Also, my smoothie had an unblended strawberry in it and the cafe inside is also just really musty the chairs look old and the tables are dirty. the air smelled bad too I wouldn’t go again. Musty vibes

The 2 girls working in the front deliberately lied about the price of the drink thinking I wouldn't notice when I came to pay for a small drink that was pretty ft up... The drink tasted good otherwise & the place was lovely.
Today personal was very unprofessional. 3 people working ( 2 girl and 1 guy) they made cold sandwiches, and not crispy as usual . Even they been making it upfront if me. Also they been arguing that they don’t have macchiato coffee! And that they don’t know how to do it ! Even it’s listed on they app and it’s many time we been getting it. One girl was extremely rude!!! EXTREMELY ! I would not keep this employee in customer service. Second girl just did not know what she is doing . And guy was silent. Also I mentioned that app is not working for 2 days and I had to order it thorough google. They did not care about it and did not care that usually we getting coffee or smth for free since we usual customers . Food was not the right quality as very bad customer service. We will continue buying since we love the place. But would highly recommend managment to look in to the staff !
Today around 12:20 pm I had a terrible Joe Juice experience. There were three employees working, one young man and two young women. The two women didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. My juices were more like smoothies. They had a very thick consistency. Furthermore, I am pretty sure I saw one of the girls take a sip of my smoothie before giving it to me! This used to be one of my favorite spots in LA, but I probably won't be back.
Bowl wasn't bad but not the greatest either. What bothered me more was the service..pretty passive aggressive workers and just fake in trying to help. It was my first time there and not quite sure how it all works paying via the app and all and I just wanted a refund so I can pay with a different card it was such a pain to do where I feel like it's something pretty simple and easy like all other places. They already lost my business and my friends before it has even begun.
Long hair with weird glasses guy keep trying to ask for more in sandwich and juices. But when you ask him something he says he cant. Dont come here. Rude workers.!!
First time trying Joe and the Juice, I was very excited to try a smoothie. I had a terrible experience at this location. First it was just dirty, like the floors hadn’t been swept in a long time, the bathroom was gross, and the chairs and couches looked like they had come from the side of the road. The music was so loud I could barely have a conversation, and honestly some of the most explicit rap music I had heard being played in a cafe. My husband and I both ordered smoothies, there was one person in front of us. It took over 20 minutes! And my smoothie was WARM. Not okay. That’s really concerning to have a warm smoothie, who knows how long those ingredients had been sitting out. All that to say, I had 2 sips and had to throw it away. Waste of time and money.
Terrible service - Young kids need to be trained more + communication. Drinks take forever to make even though there’s 3 people behind the counter. Little to no communication from all three employees about the order even after waiting 20 minutes for a small smoothie & 4 people in the actual restaurant. Seemed like they didn’t care about customer service. Items are also way over priced - just because it’s in a good location. Not coming here again if I can help it.
Went to eat here, first I paid 60 dollars for two small sized fiber drinks and two sandwiches. The smoothies come out looking both different, one chunky and the other smooth. The taste was not it, I’ve had one before and it was way better, not to mention there’s only one person cooking and she’s rushing four orders out. Next come the sandwiches, both being cold, the bread stale and disgustingly crunchy, literally hurting my throat as I swallow. I’ve been to countless Joe and the Juice and this was just not it, especially if I’m going to pay 60 dollars. The minute the tiny little “rush” was over they alternated between breaks just proving they wanted to rush food out. Maybe take into account the amount I’m paying, the sandwich being anything but warm and fresh was the cherry on top. The warmers are literally right there plugged in, what are you doing.
I normally love Joe & the Juice however, today went there for lunch. I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes. It took an hour to get a sandwich that’s fine I don’t care however, I would like to have known the reality of the time waiting since I was there during my lunch break. Considering this is Brentwood and a nice sandwich place you would imagine they would be prepared with proper staffing. They had one cashier and one gentlemen making sandwiches. Those employees looked overworked and overwhelmed, shame on Joe & the juice. I had to eat at my desk after waiting for one hour .
There is no reason at all why anyone should feel it is ok to send completely burnt food to someone and then not have a phone number to reach a live person so that I can come and at least exchange my food for something edible. This is not ok. The bread was completely burnt to a crisp.

Tried calling because gluten free bread is not offered through DoorDash. Can’t leave the office to go pick up. Called the only number they have and just circles you back to downloading the app. Just need to request and PAY for gluten free bread y’all. Shouldn’t be this difficult to contact a store.
We live in the 21st century. Why don't you accept cash and are you still hungry? Why don't you accept personal money? What a disgrace! What kind of service worker is that? Very rude.
The avocados in the sandwich was black and I didn't get my FULL refund. Contacted to store to try and talk to a representative, but couldn't reach anyone but their stupid answering machine. I ended up emailing them, and now i'm waiting for a response.
Terrible service at this location today (6/29, around 2:45 pm). Ordered on Postmates for pick up. I walked in and gave my name… he said it’s not ready yet. Later a lady asked if I had been helped… I gave her my name and she handed me the bag I witnessed put on the counter 10 minutes prior. He knew I was waiting for my order and he personally made my drinks… why didn’t he tell me it was ready? Another couple had even walked out of the line because they were extremely slow and socializing back there versus working. Terrible!
