Opinions de Joe's Pizza Los Angeles
First time staying in LA. Found this late night pizza spot super close to our hotel. They were packed, johnathan was working the counter, taller man was flipping pizza. They were absolutely killing it, getting people taken care of super fast and friendly. Great attitudes and environment. Pizza came out fast and exactly as ordered. Better service than anywhere in Miami. Will return 🤌🤌🤌
Yummy pizza delivery! Perfect for our hotel stay. Would definitely order again next time we are in town. Well done Joe!
Great pizza, great service..dropped my slice they hooked me with another. Great team/ delicious pizza at Joe's
Pizza always delicious. We tried the Sicilian whole pie tonight. Just outstanding
Really good pizza, I got a cheese pie because I’m a bit of a purist as far as New York slices go. It had a perfect ratio of cheese, sauce, and dough. Sauce was fresh and vibrant, with nice crunch on the underside of the pizza. Price was a bit higher than expected, I’d come more often if it was just a bit less expensive. Still worth it though
Best pizza in town and friendly staff. Thank you
Picture this, it was a Late night random pick, I was very hungry didn't get to eat all day, I was having a bad day & the guy at the counter made my night. He was courteous with me while i was in my purse looking for my money. He was ok with me questioning the quality & taste. His BBQ pizza recommendation was so yummy. I also got the grandma slice. It was fresh yummy & I had a better night after his approach & Patience. I'll never forget this place. He made my night. (Ps I think he had blonde hair, definitely white complexion.
Stopped by this cozy local pizza spot and it was such a pleasant surprise. The slices were fresh, flavorful, and totally satisfying. The team working there was welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even better. A great little place to grab a quick and tasty bite.
Went for a slice last night. Went back today for a whole pie. Great pizza! Customer service was fantastic both times, I would highly recommend both the cheese and pepperoni. I love the crust perfectly thin with just enough crunch.
One of best pizza spots I’ve been on in DTLA. I highly recommend this spot and the selection was pretty good. We tried pretty much most of the pizzas and the crust was on point along with the flavors. My favorite was the white pizza and it’s probably the best white pizza I’ve ever had. I’d definitely come back again or do pick up orders in the future.
1st time here, 9/5/25 Maybe it's because I just danced my butt off across the street and I'm still drunk and it's 2 am. But these pizzas are delicious. So many flavors to choose from, plus the crust is nice and crunchy! I'll be back.
Some of the best pizza you can find in the heart of DTLA. Open late. You can grab a whole pie or pick slices. Each slice of pizza is taken from the pies behind the counter, and warmed in an oven to pizza perfection before being served. Definitely reminds me of NY style pizza with the large, thin slices. Their garlic knots are pretty fire too. My favorite pizzas they have are their classic cheese pizza, the white pizza, and the pepperoni. It’s a relaxed vibe inside with table seating, bar-like seating along a wall, and a small outdoor area where you can lean and eat pizza on a counter.
Sometimes you need a slice of NY Pizza...separate from dinner, or any other meal...whatever time it may be...it has to be a slice of legitimate NYC style pizza. Joe's delivers (haha, literally...) on that promise. We stopped in after a concert nearby before public transporting it back to the Santa Clarita Valley which is a wasteland in terms of authentic NYC style pizza. I got a slice of cheese. That's always the litmus test of a pizza...if they can do the cheese right, they go on the "good list." Joe's is definitely on my good list. The sauce and cheese ratio is perfect. The crust is exactly as thin and crispy as it should be as if you picked it up in any slice shop in the original 5 boroughs. There's a ton of pizza in L.A. A good percentage of it is great pizza...a smaller percentage of it, despite how it's labeled, is actual, real NYC style pizza. Joe's is one of those places. They've got locations strategically throughout Los Angeles, so if there's a pizza emergency, you might be in good shape. (Please open a spot in Santa Clarita, Joe's...please.) Try a "grandma slice" if you're feeling frisky.
I LOVE JOE'S PIZZA!!! This place is a STAPLE in DTLA! They are ALWAYS open late, so hunger NEVER wins! GREAT customer service with CJ and Alex...love those guys! 🍕♥️ There may be a long line, but it moves QUICKLY! Parking is ALWAYS crazy in DTLA, so order first if you can help it! My ABSOLUTE favorite is the cheese calzone! It's a classic that NEVER disappoints! They also have pepperoni, meat lovers or you can add whatever you want in your calzone! You can buy a slice or a whole pie, which makes it convenient for EVERYONE! The barbeque chicken pizza is 🔥 Joe's also has the BEST MARINARA I've ever had! How can I forget the garlic bread!?! It will have your breath in an uproar, but your tastebuds will have you so busy feasting you won't even notice 🤣 if you have a sweet tooth, they have CANNOLIS 🎉 EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS AT JOE'S!
Just a small neighborhood pizza joint. Pizza slices hit the spot. The workers were friendly.
I was out on a bike ride to get a haircut when somehow I ended up here at Joe'spizza. It had been a few days since I had been craving pizza, and I am glad I ended up here. Everything was extremely delicious. The crust had a perfect hold. However, I wish there were fewer red peppers and more mushrooms on the veggie pizza. The 🌟 star of the show was the marinara dipping sauce, which was one of the best sauces I had in a while. Reasonable prices. The guy behind the counter could have a bit nicer attitude. I only saw 1 jar of crushed pepper in the entirestore, but the guy gave me attitude when I asked if they had crushed pepper.
Quick and easy. I was craving a slice while in downtown so I gave Joe's a try. I'm glad I did. Very delicious pizza with a thin crust just how I like em. Give em a try if you're hungry.

Best pizza place downtown. Haven't had authentic NY style pizza in a long time. This's the place to get it downtown for sure. 18" Pepperoni is 24 bucks total. Huge slice's.
Big dude at cashier stand (probably manager) was a good dude. He had compassion for the team and the customers. Food always rocks after a night out. Whoever was making the pizza in the corner heads down is an all star. He was fast and technique looked good. He's the one keeping the pizzas coming out.
East coast pizza made fresh in LA only place I order pizza from been here 5 or 6 times and it's always amazing quick friendly service you weather it's a slice or a chicken parm it's all good
Due to website issues when I ordered my pepperoni pizza, my order didn't show up when I went to pick it up. They apologized for not having my order and even offered me a slice of pizza as a courtesy, which reflects well on the business and its employees. They provided excellent service and quickly prepared my order. Very good and professional work from their employees. Congratulations!
Yo...this pizza place definitely stands on its own 2 feet against east coast pizza spots. They music vibe was classic Hip Hop and the people were super chill, observant to our needs and quick to serve. Pizza was beyond delicious and the establishment was clean and comfortable...Ima eat there again tonight!!
Honestly the closest to real NY Pizza 🍕 I have tasted in California.... delicious balance of the crust to sauce and the cheese. ( well , did ask for extra sauce on our pie )
Great pizza shop, atmosphere and friendly staff. I really like the pizza options, you can choose and the prices are great. However the spaghetti tasted bland and no sides or bread is included. I’ll pass on the dinner plates, but definitely will get pizza slices.

My first time at Joe's and only because my usual go-to place for lunch had closed! So glad to have found Joe's. Tasty pizza and deliciously fresh salad reasonably priced and a five minute walk from our apartment. What's not to like... Service was quick and very professional and friendly and I loved watching the chef preparing the dough and making up the pizzas right in front of me. Will definitely be back.
Great pizza. great price.
Great pizza but once I finished my second slice, the rest of my pizza loses its crunch sitting on the solid metal pizza pan. I wish they had dine in equipment that sat our pizza on a lifted aerated platform so the crust remains crunchy.
Quick staff, clean seating area, lots of pizza varieties late into the night Thinner crust and not a very thick sauce Great late night spot in dtLA

Joe's Pizza has been here for a bit and it's in the heart of the Art's District. The place is nice, with graffiti art on the walls and really captures the spirit of DTLA. The staff is great and polite. The fountain drinks they have taste like metal, the pepper shakers, parmesan cheese shaker and garlic powder shakers are so slimey, it feels like it was doused with lube. The pizza slizes are charming and has a variety of selection. I dont know how long they have been sitting there though. The price per slice of pizza is quite pricey....I just had a bite, its been thete for a while like 3 hours. There is barely tomato sauce in there, since it was re heated the moisture of the pizza has gone and the underside of the slice is quite burnt, like toast. The ingredients are fresh that is easily seen. Over all its all right, you kinda need to be slightly drunk to really enjoy it. But it is pricey for a slice of pizza. And the soda fountan is just awful, if I haven't so mentioned.
On May 7th, I visited Joes pizza, around 10:30pm. The guy that prepared the pizza was really friendly and welcoming and the pizza was pretty decent. One thing I did observe and did not appreciate was the guy that was preparing online and in store orders and attending customers, DID NOT CHANGE HIS GLOVES throughout the process of doing his job and attending to customers. I witnessed him grab money and touch another customers pizza. I did say something to the young man but when he got to our pizza, he decided to just put the gloves over top of the old ones. This is not servesafe behavior and I will not be eating there again.
Not sure what has happened to this establishment, but it's going downhill fast. Most of my orders are cold and not fully cooked. It's a shame as when they care about making good food, the pizza is fantastic, but recently, the food I've been getting is uncooked or undercooked at best. All the slices are preheated anyway, but at least take the proper time to reheat the slice to a temperature worth serving. If I wanted to cook the pizza myself once it was delivered, I would have bought a pizza place rather than a slice of pizza. My last slice was uncooked and torn into 3 pieces. Step your game up.

The owner or manager of this location, opened his doors to the authorities locking them inside for "safety " while aiding them with food. Meanwhile an active aggressive push was unfolding on unarmed peaceful observer's /protesters in LA Last night. Not sure if he's on the right side of history. I can't even describe the level of aura lost. 👎🏻. (Negative stars)
I leave many reviews (it’s one of my hobbies as a foodie) and typically only do so if it’s a great restaurant that I want to give my flowers to. But I couldn’t not say something about how terrible the service, atmosphere, and even the food was. I stopped excited to get a slice and I also had to use the restroom badly. They wouldn’t let me use the restroom until I ordered something and paid, even after I said I’d quickly leave my license or even bag with them to show that I would pay, and were very nasty about it. If you want a quick slice, sure. If you want to patron somewhere and support it with your dollars, these are not the best people to support (and the pizza wasn’t even good enough to make up for it).
I'm very dissatisfied with the service at this eatery. The staff is extremely incompetent, particularly the man who jumped on me and said, "DO YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS?" Also, their food is of extremely poor quality👎👎👎
I don’t usually leave one-star reviews, but this needed to be said. This wasn’t pizza. It was a nearly transparent sheet of regret with the suggestion of toppings. So thin I could hold it up to the streetlight and see downtown LA staring back at me. Not metaphorically. Literally. Let’s be clear: the cheese did not slide off — because there was barely any cheese to begin with. Just sparse, freckled coverage like mozzarella was being rationed. The sauce was equally shy, and the entire slice ate like a laminated menu. The crust? Cardboard. Not “crispy.” Not “New York style.” Actual cardboard. No chew, no structure, no pleasure — just a dry, joyless crunch followed by immediate regret. And the cherry on top: a 20% tip was added automatically to a PICKUP order. I walked in, grabbed my own sad paper slice, walked out — and was still charged gratuity for the honor of being disappointed. This is pizza for people who enjoy austerity, disappointment, and paying extra for food that feels more like a prop than a meal. One star for existing.

Good 🍕 Pizza. The Owner has no compassion. For humans at all. She would not let me use her restroom. Even if I paid her . Even though I'm a regular customer. What a KAREN Stuck up stich . I'll go spend my money where I'm appreciated
The food was good.I ordered egg🍆 parm But when I went back the next time & spent more money $30 instead of saying 'HI can I take your Order . The guy assumed I was just going to order a slice. Then when I corrected him. He accrued Me of being Rude GASLIGHTING at its Worst. Needless To say There won't be a 3rd time. Dining while BLACK!!!
