The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they even offered to take a picture for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The burgers were decent — tasty and satisfying, just what you’d expect for a classic diner-style meal. Overall, it was a pleasant stop with great service and a comfortable atmosphere.
My sister and I landed in Los Angeles today and our first stop after stopping at our hotel was grabbing a bite to eat at Johnny Rockets!! The atmosphere was quiet but that didn’t stop us from bringing a vibe. Jario welcomed us in soooo warmly. Jose and Damien also contributed to that warm environment. Damien cooked our delicious food and we had conversations with Jario. food was moderately priced- 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone who’s in town visiting!!!!

Arrived at this location looking for a good burger, and they delivered an incredible one instead. The atmosphere and music Johnny Rockets plays remains authentic to the old school burger joints of the 1950s. Staff were very friendly as well as very attentive to their customers since I never once felt like I was being ignored. My meal was simply amazing, I never really go for floats, but after trying the root beer ice cream float it definitely made me want to order more in the future, and my Route 66 burger with added crispy Onion rings and a fried egg made my burger unforgettable.
Really cute retro vibes, delicious foods, honest prices but most of all absolutely stellar customer service! I didn’t catch our server’s name but he really went above and beyond. I went with my boyfriend and another couple, and each couple split a burger and a milkshake, he brought us the food already split in different plates and he even divided up the shakes! Without us having to ask for anything:) the food was really good quality and even the vegan options were delicious!
This is the first time that my husband and I are eating at this Johnny rockets up in Hollywood tonight I'm having the route 66 and my husband is having the chicken club ! Everything is delicious thank you for your hospitality your kindness your friendliness cleanliness we enjoyed everything
This was by far the best Johnny rockets. I really loved the fact how a staff member Jorge went above and beyond to fulfill my needs, he had such a positive energy too. Overall 10/10

Update: Food served hot! Great stuff! I haven't had Johnny Rockets in a minute and they really upped their game! Food was great, service was quick, and the people were great! It is crazy busy at this location in Hollywood. The Original was on point! My family loved it!
Their foods are really delicious. The employers are so kind and helpful. In that day, my phone charge was done and I didn’t find any place that except to charge my phone. They did this for me. They saved my life. They are good. They are very good people.
My family and I traveled from Brazil to California and on October 5, 2025, we had dinner at Johnny Rockets in Hollywood. It was an incredible experience, starting with the waiter, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere, good food, and top-notch service! Even at more expensive places, we haven't had such good service. I recommend everyone visit this charming restaurant in the heart of Hollywood, next to the Lowes Hotel. Thank you!

I find this place accidentally while I’m was hungry before my event in Ovation. We came here with my friend and I’m ordered onion rings and bacon cheese fries. I wasn’t able to eat it in full, because portion were great and bring it with me. After a while I forgot my food bag somewhere and decided to come back again and order same things🤣 I’m missed it a lot. So I’m writing this review while eating here same order, haha. Never tried burgers here, but fries and rings here AMAZING.
This diner is located inside the mall by the Dolby Theatre. Super convenient parking in the structure, and they validate, which is a nice bonus. We really enjoyed the burgers and fries—everything was fresh and tasty we could watch them making our burgers as the kitchen is open. Service was friendly and efficient, and there were plenty of tables available when we got there. Great spot for a casual meal in the area!
This place is AMAZING!!! The people that served me are really kind and the food is way better than any other restaurant I’ve been at. I really recommend this place.

Had a very awesome family diners experience here at the Johnny Rockets! The waiter is very friendly gave us good recommendation on food and gave us an discount since we didn’t want to get refill drinks! Also we were unfamiliar with the location for the next taking metro. Johnny Rockets actually was found in City of Los Angeles and the theme was the American 1950s diner style. The restaurant chain were very popular in the past days but it is going down popularity in recent years. This current location is at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center where many tourists visited Hollywood Walk of Fames. Business was good when they first opened the door in 2001. I always like the traditional style tasted burgers and French fries. It would be one of my first picks when I visit Hollywood. If you have never been there please put on your dining lists. I would give a four stars for their food and service.
Ordered 2 burger meals. You pay separate for fries and there were plenty. Burger was OK, nothing special but the added bacon was poor , 2 very thin small pieces I could hardly taste but paid extra. Johnny Rockets is an old-school diner (corporate chain) featuring burgers, fries, and shakes and variations of… It’s not my first choice for dining at Hollywood & Highland, but there aren’t many sit down options - and it’s open until 11pm. The food is satisfying enough and the servers are nice and they get you in and out relatively quickly - but it’s definitely pricey for what it is. It cost me $40 for a Philly Cheesesteak (with cheese sauce), cheesy tater tots, and an Oreo milkshake. (No matter what - order a shake!) Did it make me happy in the moment? YES. If a lady comes to your table and wants to take a picture of you, say no. She charges for the photos!! Service here was slow and needs improvement. Food was good but kind of expensive. I do believe that it's one of the better and cheaper restaurants to eat in if you're on a budget and visiting Hollywood and Highland.
