Iconic and legendary space. Old school and cool Hollywood vibe. Sitting at the bar is great people watching. Food drinks and service overall excellent! I had the Tuesday special corn beef and cabbage which was tasty but on the dry side. Sourdough bread the same. You’ll find better food elsewhere but no place with a better story.

I had no clue what to expect, but I loved everything about dining here. The setting is wonderful. The rib eye was perfectly seasoned and cooked! The blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad was so delicious, and possibly the best martini I’ve ever had! 10 stars!

Ambiance, food and service are fantastic. There aren't many of these institutions left and I'm sure glad this has stuck around. There are two or three steakhouses that has better steaks but it's still up there, and the ambiance can't be beat! I ordered the sand dabs, cream of spinach, and the rib eye steak medium rare, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My original order was going to be prime rib however they ran out by the time of my reservations. IG: kay_okay_eat

Our last night in L.A. looking for somewhere special for our anniversary. We had a very enjoyable experience at Musso & Frank. The host kindly led us to his favorite "special" booth which allowed us to watch the entire scene inside, and it was a scene. The level of service is uniquy courteous, it is clear they take it seriously while maintaining a personable touch. Of course the food was outstanding as well but what matters here is the overall experience. Thank you to our host and servers for a memorable evening.

Musso and Franks is an LA staple for a reason. Incredible food, storied history, and fantastic service. It’s a slice of Hollywood that you just can’t beat. It’s pricey but it’s such a treat. Highly recommend! This trip our waiter was Robert and he was so lovely. Kind and very attentive! He made the experience that much more enjoyable for us and two of our guests who were visiting from England. A dinner we won’t soon forget! Thanks Robert!

Been going here for thirty plus years. What I love about this place is that it stays true to its clients and its rich history. This is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood. Been around since 1919. Steaks have always been phenomenal. But there are a few hidden gems. Like the house salad with avocado. If your not a fan of avocado than probably not for you. The French onion augratin is the best I have ever had. The prime rib is also fantastic and if you are very polite and ask the chef for a bone in cut and then have it kissed by the mesquite grill. Well you can thank me later. I also ask for the sourdough bread to be toasted on the grill not the toaster oven but the mesquite grill. Ask for a side of aujus to pair. So incredibly delicious here. And who knows, you may even run into a celebrity or two. Highly recommend this place.

Musso & Frank Musso & Frank is an institution and it really feels like it as well. The restaurant is steeped in Hollywood history and has featured in so many films. The host was really sweet when I told him I was visiting from Australia and excited to experience the iconic restaurant. The service is proper old school, waiters in jackets, white table clothes, the whole thing. It’s extraordinary. I ordered the famed original fettuccine Alfredo and the classic prawn cocktail. The Alfredo was so good and the sauce on the prawn cocktail was excellent. The menu feels very nostalgic with dishes that have stood through the ages. The cocktails are strong that’s for sure, one was more than enough for a buzz. Restaurant offers valet parking as well.

Absolutely 100% fantastic. Everything was on point. The Martini was as good as you can get anywhere in the world. Prime rib was killer. Shrimp cocktail was 8/10. Wedge salad was fantastic. Staff was amazing.

I mean, it’s legendary, so it has to be 5 stars! The ambiance is old school Hollywood and it really has not changed much (if at all) over the decades. From the Classic Martini (with the side car second pour), to the big steaks, to the pasta, it’s all great. Our server Chris, was low energy, but he was attentive and we really appreciated him bringing us a free ice cream topped brownie for our son’s birthday we were celebrating! After diner, go next door to have a whiskey sour at the bar. Recreate the scene from “Once upon a time in Hollywood” that was shot there! Make reservations months in advance! It’s not cheap, of course, but it’s not that expensive for LA. The location is in the heart of Touristic Hollywood, so make an evening of it! VictorB

I had dinner here with my family and was absolutely mesmerized by the whole experience. Everything felt so classic—from the timeless setup to the elegant uniforms of the staff. The menu offered a wide variety of options. We ordered the New York steak, chicken parmigiana, and two pasta dishes. The steak was incredibly tender, and the pasta with lamb ragù was outstanding. Despite the restaurant being fully packed, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and professional—truly top-notch. An amazing dinner experience all around!

My husband has been wanting to try this restaurant- we tried walking in on a busy Saturday and that was a no go - so reservations are strongly recommended especially if you can make it in advance- we Celebrated my husbands bday here - Food was delicious everyone in our party loved it. Personally I ordered the steak tartar and it is a MUST TRY !!! it's very small so I would suggest it is for 1-2 people MAX & it was the best steak tartar I've ever had (and I've had a lot ) I ordered the branzino for main course & it was good .. nothing out of the ordinary however I did have a lot of fish bones in mine and I am unsure if it's supposed to be served with some fish bones but I didn't like that I had to dig out the fish bones from my mouth as they are small and clear - and were found throughout the fish. We ordered the broccoli and onion rings - broccolini was nothing out of the ordinary however the onion rings were delicious!!! Fried and breaded to perfection I had the palomita which is a Smokey mezcal based drink .. I wasn't much of a fan but I still finished it .. lol We finished off with their Sunday and it was delicious! It had caramelized bananas. It was sweet and salty. My party and I finished it.!! They also gave my husband a birthday card with a complimentary dessert - a brownie with a scoop of ice cream and a candle which was really nice of them. It’s not a bad review it’s more about providing information to other naive Aussies. If you want a decent steak avoid the Prime Rib of Beef cause it’s just a roast that they will sear to your liking. And the waiter will recommend it as they have already roasted that piece of meat so need to use it up. If you want a break between entre and main then tell them when ordering. Id ordered a white wine to pair with the entre and a red with the main. The main came out before id finished the white. They are all about turning over tables. Even though there is no time limit mentioned anywhere when booking individuals have 90 minutes. Break it down French onion soup - nice enough Prime Rib of Beef - rare roast with over cooked cap and undercooked baked potato. Underwhelming. Key lime pie - too rich. Id say two spoons and done. Wine didn’t justify the $26 AUD per glass. Limoncello didn’t justify the $26 AUD per shot. $250 AUD for one person before tip and I’m really disappointed. High expectations seriously not met. But in saying that classic historic restaurant and if you have the cash a must do. Id just go in with lower expectations and order less.
