There are several Louisiana Fried Chicken spots in LA County, but the one on Normandie has always had a reputation for being one of the best. I remember when the lines used to be long back in the day. I ordered a 15-piece family meal with fried rice and French fries. Everything was seasoned really well and cooked just right. The food was fresh and they were fast with preparing it. The family meal was $38.99, which felt affordable for the amount of food. When I brought it home, my husband’s eyes lit up, especially since I mostly eat vegan and don’t usually buy or cook meat. That alone made it worth it. If you’re craving fried chicken and want something dependable, this location has been consistent. Not a critic, just sharing how it felt.

Food was hot, fresh and tasty. I will say I wish all restaurants would offer a seal protection/tamper free system for bagging for delivery apps. I did ask this location to do so, but they did not. Food for delivery should be sealed. Food from this location was excellent, this is the only location I visit for this chain.

Food is amazingly good and hot and fresh. I drive 1 hour weekly to eat here however, it's crowded sometimes so come prepared to wait but it's so so worth it.

I got 2 pieces of fish 3 tenders and fries for $15. The portions are a good size. I was hungry and was full off the fish, fries and 1 of the 3 tenders. Fries were very good. Fish was spicy but on point. Tenders as well. It looks a little shady on the inside, but the food was on point. Better than fast food easily. Price is good value for 2025.

I saw a sign in the window that reads, "2 PC Leg and Thigh with Biscuit $5". When I go into the drive thru, I'm told that the special in question, is only on certain days. That was annoying because the sign doesn't say that. So, it was the equivalent to "Click Bait". Then, I asked the price for a 2 PC and a Biscuit, and I was told it would be $7 & something. So, I ordered it. When I got the receipt, I discovered that the female charged me for two 1 PC & a Biscuit meals, @ $3.46 each. Go figure. Then, when I got the chicken, it was full of fat and the skin was chewy, beneath the crisp breading.

Ok this USED TO BE THE BEST one in all of Cali but what happened?!! They trick u with fresh French fries so u drive off thinking ur good to go and then you get home and bite into the chicken and there’s no authentic Louisiana famous fried chicken flavor anymore. Reheated OLD chicken!! They are either mixing in more plain flour with their seasoned flour or they have changed the recipe but I won’t be back. Last couple times ordering from here via my Uber eats my food has been rushed resulting with my chicken being pink and undercooked , i am not pleased !
