Finally tried Ramen Nagi and went with the basil broth (no pork) — so good. It was flavorful, fresh, and not too heavy. I love how customizable everything is, especially the spice level and noodle firmness. The noodles had the perfect bite. Definitely coming back when the ramen craving hits.

very yummy! we had the green basil broth. amazing fly was perfect! very well mixed and delicious taste. we both had the small thin noodles with normal Level of cook which I think were perfect. I used light salt and it was perfect t t0 me! since there were bacon and cheese on the broth as well. Oh..the chicken karage was the best! very well marinated and uou hot large 5 piece! highly recommended

First time I had this was actually in Hong Kong. They are called Butao Ramen before. They rebranded to Ramen Nagi in other markets. They serve legit tonkotsu ramen at a reasonable price. $15 for the original tonkotsu and $17 for the squid ink one. Not bad at all. One thing I don’t like is the long line. Good thing the lines settled down and the service was very fast now! — Friday night, there was a short line. I was alone and got a spot with just about 5 minutes of wait in line. I tried the original one today. It was pretty legit and only $16.95. Quite reasonable. I can’t stop eating the dashi sprouts 🌱. — One tip - always order noodles as extra firm

This place nails it on all points. in the top two ramen broths I have had stateside. Had it yesterday and still thinking about it today. I could eat this for every meal. Ordered spicy and heat was perfect with extra punch of rich chili flavor. Noodles perfect, pork belly, silky, tender and sooo full of flavor. My server was the best and really navigated the decisions in a helpful way. Atmosphere brings ya to Tokyo without a flight. This place rocks.

By far one of the best ramen I've had. The broth was so creamy and savory. I'd say the star of the show is the pork belly cuts, omg it is absolutely delicious. Overall great experience, amazing food. I'd 100% recommend this place.

Best Japanese Ramen I had! The spicy one was really good, very flavored sauce and soup, and the noodles were right on point.

We were in the mood for ramen and happened to find this location. Great ramen one of our favorite. Staff and food was amazing. We didn't wait more than 5 minutes fkr our order. We'd gladly come again!! We had the Squid ink and Orginal ramen.

One of the best ramen spots in the area for sure!! I went by myself and was very glad because I got to sit by the counter looking at the open kitchen :) Highly recommend the red spicy + chashu if you like spicier food (I chose level 2 spice and it was perfect) Food was ready in less than 5 minutes and portion + taste were both exceptional!! Will come back for sure to try the squid ink version.

This place is incredible if you're looking for good ramen and quick service. The outside line is always long, but you order in line by filling out a paper. The line moves fairly quickly. Keep in mind though, they close for a few hours in the afternoon and then reopen at 5. I like that they only have a few ramen dishes to choose from, so you're not sifting through a huge menu. Quality over quantity for sure with this place. Can feel a bit rushed at times especially because people waiting in line are staring through the glass while you eat, and staff are not pushy for you to leave, but you get the sense that there's a "time limit". But they are all very friendly and are VERY efficient. Probably one of the most efficient running restaurants out there. Personally, it's one of the best ramen spots around the city. No take out or delivery, because they feel the experience is best enjoyed in the restaurant, which is a nice change. I've tried all the ramen expect for the vegan one, they are all incredible. Get the squid ink one, it's really good if you like garlic. My favorite is the red king (spicy) it's got incredible flavor but can get pretty hot if you up the spice level. Great place overall! Definitely give it a try.

Tasted delicious and authentic. But it’s tonkotsu-based flavor so some foreigners left bad comments for the greasy taste….I like it actually.

This Ramen Nagi location is on the top floor of the Westfield Century City mall. People come here just for tonkotsu ramen. It's that good. They also have a special ramen at each location called "limited king". I think they might have had beef here before! Service is great. There is usually a line outside, and a waiter will come up to you to explain the menu. This is really helpful, especially if it's your first time. The order sheet is nice because you can customize the ramen to your liking. I personally like light salt and thin noodles. Those peppery bean sprouts side dishes on each table are so good. Pro tip: you can ask the server for more if it runs out! Parking at the mall is not free.

Who knew such delicious ramen could be found at the Century City Mall? They don’t do take out so you’ll have to wait in line to get a bowl. I came here for an early dinner around 6:45 pm on a Thursday and there was a line but not too bad. The line moves at a decent pace since food comes out fast. I got the Black King that features squid ink and was super tasty. While it wait in line, you pretty much decide on your order with some customization. The inside is pretty lively and there’s a good vibe from the staff too. Overall, great ramen and would visit again!

I recently visited Ramen Nagi at Westfield Century City during the lunch hours, and as expected, there was a short line before being seated. The restaurant has a casual yet stylish atmosphere, with large glass windows that make the space bright, open, and very clean. One of the highlights of Ramen Nagi is its ordering system you fill out a paper form and customize your ramen to your liking. You can adjust the broth’s richness, oil level, garlic amount, and noodle thickness or firmness, while also choosing from toppings such as chashu pork or braised pork belly, green onions or cabbage, and seasoned eggs. I also appreciated that they offer a vegetarian-friendly option, which makes the menu accessible to more guests. For my meal, I chose the Black King, a bowl with an eye-catching black broth made from roasted garlic and squid ink. The central topping, minced pork mixed with black sesame and a special blend of spices, added both depth and aroma. Despite the dark color, the soup was surprisingly light and not too oily, with a pleasant garlic flavor that balanced everything nicely. The chashu was flavorful and tender, while the thin noodles had just the right bite and absorbed the broth well. The service was efficient and friendly, and even though the restaurant was busy, the staff kept things moving smoothly. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, both in taste and presentation, and I would be happy to return to try their other unique ramen varieties

Spicy and Lamb ramen are both really good. Chasu is a little too chewy for me; I prefer them more charred. Lamb slices are great. Haven’t had a chance to try the black or pesto ramen yet. Karaage is very yummy. Food is fast, service is fast. Wish there were more vegetable sides on the menu.

This place is popular! A friend who's a local took me here to try this spot. There was quite a long line when we arrived for dinner but it did move pretty fast. They give you an order sheet when you're in the line to get things moving. However, it seemed to hurt the service quality. We were put at a shared table with a couple sitting directly in front of us, and their food ended up on our side. Aside from that, the noodles were tasty and very reasonably priced.

Long lines, crowded seating, but great ramen. If you come during peak hours, be prepared to wait a long time. The location of Ramen Nagi makes it a very popular spot, so I recommend eating here before peak hours when it gets packed. Please take note that this location is not designed for large parties. Highly recommend sitting by the kitchen if you have the chance. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious. If you don't mind the long wait, the food is definitely worth it.

This ramen restaurant specializes in tonkotsu ramen, offering a customizable experience with options for toppings, noodle thickness, and firmness. Despite visiting during a busy time, service was impressively fast and efficient, with a high turnover rate that didn’t compromise quality. I ordered the Original King with the recommended selections. The ramen arrived quickly. The broth was rich, opaque, and creamy with a bold, savory depth — exactly what you’d hope for in a well-executed tonkotsu. The noodles had just the right chew and were spot-on in texture. One minor drawback is that, at this price point, I expected some of the standard toppings — like nori, bamboo shoots, and a soft-boiled egg — to be included by default, as is common at many tonkotsu-focused spots. That said, it’s still a solid choice for a quick, satisfying bowl of ramen — especially if you’re craving a hearty and flavorful fix.

I visited Ramen Nagi and ordered the Original King (Tonkotsu) with mushroom, cabbage, egg, and chashu. The ramen was fine, noodle texture was good but the taste was honestly just mediocre at best. It didn’t wow me, especially after seeing such a long line outside. I was probably expecting more. The service was mixed. The host was friendly and welcoming, but the waiter seemed overwhelmed and made us feel rushed. I get that the space is tight and they’re busy, but I still want to enjoy my meal (especially when it was extremely hot) without feeling pushed out. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not memorable. I’m not sure I’d come back, it didn’t feel worth the wait.

GF is a big fan of ramen, so we wanted to check off the Ramen Nagi box. The line wrapped around the restaurant but went surprisingly quick. Total wait time was 30 minutes. There was a staff member taking our orders with a paper menu while we were waiting in line. Similar to Ichiran in Japan, you can customize the ramen the way you want. I opted for the chef's recommendation (the items with the dots on the paper menu) and firm, thin noodles. The ramen came within minutes of us being seated and was piping hot. The noodles had a nice bite, and the broth was better than the broth at Hironori and Silverlake. Very rich, but also somehow clean. A lot of ramen broths are too salty to finish, but this was an exception. The chashu was nothing special. I was keen on trying the gyoza, but it was not on the paper menu that we used to order the ramen, and none of the employees asked if we wanted to order anything else. I didn't want the gyoza to be prepared while our ramen was cooling down, so I didn't bother with placing the order. It's a streamlined restaurant, but not being able to conveniently order what you want is a pretty big bummer so -1 star for that. I also imagine it's not really good for business when customers aren't given a menu that shows their other offerings other than ramen. Just weird. Also, when we were almost done, a member of the waitstaff dropped off our check and asked us to pay at the front. I assumed the front of the restaurant was where all the magic was happening (ramen being cooked), and where all the staff were huddled, so I walked to that side only for a lady at the other side of the restaurant to say curtly with no emotion "sir, this is where you pay." Could have saved me some embarrassment by interjecting some lightheartedness and cheeriness, but the lady taking my payment had no interest in that. -1 star for that unpleasant interaction. All of the efficiency of Japan with none of the hospitableness. I'm usually not a stickler for service unless it's egregious, but the experience here was really disappointing.

I’ve eaten a lot of ramen in my life, and this was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. I came in with very high expectations after reading the reviews, but after the first bite, I was shocked by how bad it was. I ordered the lamb ramen, karaage, and gyoza. The karaage had a strange taste, and they added onions to the Japanese mayo, which made it taste off. The gyoza was okay, but there was barely any sauce. Now, the ramen… where do I even start? The broth had a very odd flavor that’s hard to describe and was extremely oily — if you let it sit for a few seconds, a layer of oil would form on top. The meat had no seasoning and was completely bland. Overall, it was not a good experience, and I highly doubt I’ll be coming back.

Got seated pretty quick. As we got seated, the waiter asked us if we would like to try fried chicken and we said "yes". Never received it but were charged for it. The ramen was kinda gross tbh. I ordered chef's recommendations and it was mid. Very greasy to the point where you can see solidified pork fat floating around. Toppings were whatever. Seaweed tasted off. Pork chasu looked pink, I don't think that's safe to eat especially when pork meat carries parasites. We didn't finish our ramen neither did the table next to us. The cashier at the front fixed the mistake of charging us for chicken so that's the positive. But overall, the taste is bad.
