Opinions de Ramen Nippon Los Angeles
Stop by this Ramen place today, food and service was great. I had soyu chicken Ramen soup from the menu #1, it was so fresh so delicious. I didn't know about this little gem in Reseda. Parking is small but you have more parking available on the street.
Server was excellent, friendly and very attentive. Food was light, clean and fresh. Had the Miso Chashu Ramen + gyoza dumpling combo. Lots of lean soft meat. Broth was light with lots of green onion. Gyoza was crispy and light. Restaurant was very clean and had a calm atmosphere.
I have been coming here with my family for years. The service is always great. The ramen is delicious. My favorite is the miso ramen. My husband’s favorite is the shoyu ramen. The gyoza is also worth trying, crispy and flavorful. If you visit, be sure to get the tofu salad, it’s so refreshing and tasty.
いらっしゃいませ!! I had Nippon Ramen for the first time!! 美味しい!! So delicious the broth & the noodles is perfect!! Homemade!! So satisfying!! 満足!! The waitress with very nice attitude suggested us the vegetable with meat tons of sauce. We liked it so much!! Japanese restaurant looks great wonderful marvelous such a new style. Long time visit!! My parents disliked the taste. I prefer Nippon Ramen other that that the chashu, miso shoryu & shio ramen are okay. No fried rice & gyoza. I will be supporting this business once for all. ありがとう!! ごちそうさま!! I should take my friends to Ramen Nippon at Reseda Blvd once a while if available. That’s all. Happiest day in my life.
This restaurant is definitely like a little Gem in Valley, it’s really cute and very very local and cozy. Definitely a spot for cozy dates or just a night out vibe. We tried *Mabo Gyoza* (the one with tofu), it had an interesting texture for sure but tasty and kinda sour and savoury, dumplings were pork filled and tasty. *Miso Chashu Ramen* , The ramen was tasty and heartwarming too. Chicken was cooked very well. Liked the noodles too. The *green ice tea* was perfection honestly.Portion r very big. Everything was $36 after tax. Give it a try for sure 🫶
Amazing ramen, best in the area. The broth is super flavorful. The place is super authentic. The gyoza (not pictured) is extremely soft and flavorful. The ambiance & service always feels like home. Fast and friendly. This is my 3rd time coming & i'm a keeper Ramen Nippon.
I’ve been visiting Ramen Nippon since they opened back in the 90’s. I always order the wakame ramen, gyoza and fried rice. They use egg noodles for their wakame ramen to give its unique taste and chewy consistency while the broth is balanced just right with salt and clear chicken broth. Some fresh cucumbers, sesame seeds, boiled chicken green onions, and wakame make the soup complete. The gyoza filling is on point and the bottoms are perfectly pan fried each time. The fried rice is flavored just right with char shu and complimented with pickled ginger and zasai. The most fascinating part about the dishes is they’ve been able to replicate it every time since I’ve visited for the past 20+ years. The only thing I wish they did was expand to open more places, but i suppose quality control would drop if they did so. It’s my to go spot when I’m in the valley 👌
Easily my favorite Ramen shop in the valley. The shoyu is always so tender, the broth is just the right thickness. My only complaint is the egg on my ramen this last time came out a bit more hard boiled than I usually like-- but still tasted great! Shoyu Ramen with fried rice and gyoza is my go-to!
This place is great. Big portions and authentic.
Ramen Nippon is one of our local favorites! The staff here is wonderfully friendly, welcoming and very courteous. The great thing is, it's been Iike this for many years! The food here is outstanding. Excellent quality food and portions with affordable prices. We can't get enough of whichever broth we select here! Tonight we had the Edamame, Chashu Ramen and Curry Rice. There was so much food, we had to take a doggie bag home. The edamame came out perfectly steamed and lightly salted. The Chashu Ramen has a Shoyu-based broth. It was light and flavorful. The meat was tender and paired well with the scallions, egg and bamboo shoots. The Curry Rice has a flavor you can't shake. The curry alone has a delicious, spiced flavor to it that I can't describe. The rice has a southern comfort feel to it due to the grain used much like a rich, sticky rice texture. This is definitely one of our favorite spots and we will be back. The only downfall would be parking since it is located caddy-cornered in a tiny shopping center with a few parking spaces. You will have to find street parking. Other than that, we can't wait until our next visit!
Amazing ramen, best in the area. The broth is super flavorful especially for the tan tan men & spicy miso ramen. The place is super authentic, the gyoza tastes hand made and extremely soft and flavorful. Fast and friendly service, would 100% come back.
I think they have new ownership? They changed their shoyu ramen though. It has less green onions but now more scallion and their egg is now soft boiled and sweet! The core of the ramen stayed the same though 🤤 It's so good! definitely an upgrade. And their updated menu got a lot cleaner, more organized, and with a lot more pictures and explanations!
I've been coming here for years and their ramen is still one of the best ramen you can find in San Fernando Valley.
All I can say is yummy. The food was great the portions were huge, the price was very reasonable, the green tea had free refills, what more can I ask for. My wife and I shared the ramen and still had left overs. I will be back.
Let me start off by saying, I've never had real ramen before. This was my first time trying it. A friend from work who's into the culture recommended this spot because its a 5 minute walk from my house. I placed the order for pickup on the phone today and I regret not doing this sooner. He recommended I get the spicy miso ramen with double pork and egg. I also picked up some gyoza. Boy oh boy was I in for a treat. All in all I spent more or less about $20. When I got to the house I realized this was enough food for 2 adults. Or in my case, I'll be able to enjoy this delicious ramen tomorrow for lunch as well. I'm writing this as I am sitting at the table happily staring at my food that's how happy I am with this experience. I have to admit, I went in my pajama pants and a t-shirt to this place not thinking much of it. It's a lot fancier than I thought it would be. It's actually really nice. Next time I have ramen I will be eating in. It looked nice and cozy place. The customer service was fantastic. Overall a very pleasant experience. Literally nothing bad I can say about the place.

This is one of the best Ramen spots I have ever been to highly recommend!

Cute tucked away spot in a strip mall in Reseda. Service was excellent and fast. The shio spicy chicken ramen had good flavor and decent amount of chicken and the noodles were delicious. But it comes down to what you like. Me? I'm not into Miso and that's most of their base here. But it was affordable and for $5 dollars more you can add on gyoza or Rice. I got the gyoza and they were excellent Sadly my meal was ruined by a group that had a woman talking about her pointless relationship misfires and mishaps all while using a curse word for every other word. Ah to be back in Tokyo again.
Takes both cash and card. Pretty large menu with large portions. I had some vegetarian ramen that had plenty of bean sprouts and cabbage to satisfy that I enjoyed alongside some tasty pork gyoza. EXTREMELY nice staff. Very limited seating in a quiet atmosphere. Not hip, just tasty ramen.

Budget friendly, not a great ramen, broth is not thick or rich - mostly very water down, still not bad, but not something you will want again. It's a fast food ramen but hey it's only $13, not 23 as as some other places, again budget over quantity here.

Cash only. They very nicely have an ATM, passing on the price of using a credit card to the customers. Noodles are hard and chewy. I mixed with vinegar to give any sort of better flavor. Still not great. Curry was liked a lot. Not too spicy. The rice helped. Soup is strong but not good, although it does grow on you. Very oily. I personally hated all the veggies in the bowl. I felt they were hard and flavorless. Vinegar pourer didn't even pour unless shaken Gyoza I felt was very doughy, but others liked it. It definitely needed soy sauce. I left my bowl of ramen mostly full. The pork is very dry. I gave mine to a friend after eating one slice. Very American decor. Friend said soup tastes like beef consommé, a Mexican food. He left his unfinished too. He liked the noodles though. Other friend described it as very sweet. There is a buzzing outside from all the electric signs that drives me crazy.
