Got to see Joba perform live here, I’ve never been to this venue beforehand. I honestly can’t complain, the staff was kind with redirecting the line of fans to the appropriate section to avoid blocking the pathway for other pedestrians. This is a medium sized venue which has a section for people to sit towards the back. No matter where you’re standing, you can easily see the artist up close.
The sound is good and there is bleacher type seating opposite the stage with small tables in front.
Very cool place with lots of space and multiple bars. Only downside is that there are only two restrooms, so you may have to wait a little bit to get into one.
Zebulon is one of my favorite spots in LA — part bar, part concert venue, and 100% magic. The atmosphere is always electric, with an effortlessly cool crowd and an energy that feels both wild and welcoming. The bartenders are super chill, the music is always on point, and the whole place has this perfect mix of creativity and chaos. Between the live shows, the cozy outdoor patio, and the overall vibe, it just feels alive. Whether you’re there for the music, the drinks, or just the scene — Zebulon never disappoints.
Love the atmosphere and show area. I tried the food and didn't like it or my drink very much. I ordered the gluten free bianca pizza. Icky. I didn't know what they used for the crust but cauliflower would have been better. No flavor on the arugula. The rum and coke was potent but I'm not sure why I didn't like it. Maybe too much rum. But I'd come back for the show and try something different next time. Maybe regular pepperoni will be better.
Lovely ambiance! The owner and staff are warm and friendly! Food is really good! We performed there and the sound system and audio engineer were top shelf! They have a fun green room and provide discount on food and drink tickets for performers! The stage was large and the audience area was also. They have a really nice outside patio and the area is easily accessible off the 5 freeway. Will definitely be going there again and hope to perform there again!
A genuinely fun, welcoming, judgment-free zone of a bar, club, and venue 👍🏼 When I attended my favorite record label's anniversary show here, the crowd was about equally split between people there for the label or bands and people there for Zebulon itself, lol -- which I think says a lot. The bathrooms were clean and presentable all night, water was freely available on a self-serve basis, and if perchance you accidentally sustain a superficial injury either on the premises or just prior arrival ... staff will absolutely hook you up with first aid, just saying. As everywhere, but especially here because they're so nice ... be sure to tip your bartender! And have a good time.
Nice small club/concert venue. Surprisingly good food. Great bartenders!
1st time here. Its a nice, big. Good sound equipment, big Stage bar. Venue. Lots seating outside too. I totally recommend. Kind of hard to find.
First time attending this cafe/venue the other night and it was very enjoyable! It is a very intimate place, but the sound and vibe is great! The food and drinks are decent priced. The coffee smelled amazing. The bartenders are super friendly and attentive! We had the chicken tacos and margherita pizza and both were really good! The pizza had really a really good ratio of tangy sauce, cheese, and crisp to the crust. The live music area is just behind the curtain doors and it's a nice sized intimate area. The sound was really good, clear and crisp. There is a small bleacher seating area, a bar seating area, and the rest is standing area. I definitely recommend this venue! The parking situation is a little sketchy down here though, the streets are very dark and lots of dead ends. It's all street parking only. I don't quite know this neighborhood, but it looks kind of industrial. But as always, be aware of your surroundings.
Use earplugs if you’re seeing a show, wish I knew they had them at check in. Ruined my experience :/ Good food & vibes tho! Also parking wasn’t easy
My phone got stolen out of my bag here and I spoke to multiple staff members, they took my info but seemed totally unbothered…like it was a common occurrence. They pretty much told me I was screwed and shrugged me off. I also ran into another guy who also had his phone stolen that night. Regardless, I’ve been here half a dozen times and the dance floor is meh. Only positives are they pour the drinks strong and the hot dog stand outside is fire.
I love Zebulon but you seriously need to install more restrooms. The capacity you have plus 3 toilets and 1 urinal for all guest is going to make me start some kind of secret protest where we start secretly defecating all over the place. Put porta potties or something! Fun fact: alcohol is a diuretic.
it's 1 star from me, I had an awful experience, the sound man got over-enthusiastic and put the volume somewhere around 120 db, a point where you get hearing damage even with ear plugs. I'm going to be tormented 24/7 the rest of my life because I went to Zebulon that one night. The really sad thing is not so much the numbness and continuous shrieking in my ears, but the way that the music I love, that I've listened to hundreds or even thousands of times, will never ever sound the same way again.
