I wasn't a vegan when I moved into this neighborhood a few years ago. I was sad about not being able to come to Slicey's then I decided to simply just ask if they could make me a pizza without cheese and without hesitation they did. The sauce is tasty and the ingredients are fresh. Sarah is super friendly and always know it's me calling based on the order. Definitely the neighborhood pizza joint, and I'm so glad to support this local business.
Great pizza and very friendly service. Highly recommend their Carnivore pizza for those meat lovers :) A bit bummed that I moved out of the area recently, but always enjoyed the pizza every other month we had it. Their shop is a bit on the small side (but they have a neat action figure collection), but since we lived close by, we always did take-out. They also have a parking lot with ample space every time we dropped by.
Quality pizza - tasty. Delicious wings - didn't taste like they were ever frozen. Good quality chicken - meaty, tender, flavorful. Worth trying!
Just tried Sliceys for first time a few minutes ago.Did not have ultra high expectations. I was wrong. The pizza was great and is now on my Go To list. In future will order extra large so I get my fill. Sliceys is one of the best Pizzas ever!
Without a doubt, Slicey’s is the best pizza I’ve ever had! Ever since I ordered for the first time in December 2024, I haven’t looked elsewhere. I’ve struggled to find pizza places that have sauce with FLAVOR and not just salty. Slicey’s delivers delicious pizza sauce, great time management, and overall, excellent customer service. The toppings are top notch and it is crafted with love. Sarah and Victor are some of the friendliest people you will ever come across. They truly are committed to serving the best quality pizza to your satisfaction. I am so happy I found them and I will never let go. Wishing Slicey’s a long and beautiful success in making the city proud with their pizzas!
This spot is such a gem, it instantly became our favorite neighborhood pizza spot after our first visit. Consistently great pizzas, super friendly service, and reasonable prices. We come here to pick up whenever we can, but they also do slices if you just want a quick bite. Don’t sleep on their wings and churros either.
Has become my go-to. Usually takes about 30 min to be ready, but the customer service is wayy above the call. I often get a call to let me know exactly when it will be ready so I don't have to wait and the pizza won't get cold. That happens whether I order online or order by phone. Great pizza, great service, five stars.
Best pizza in mid-city, ran by the nicest folks. Add a BBQ swirl to any pizza, no regrets. Also great baked wings. They also have a ton of drink options and desserts!
Shorter summary: Daughter of an exceptional Korean specialty restaurant, she can make exceptionally tasteful pizzas at exceptionally young age, except that the business hours may not be so reliable. Okay, so this pizza joint is run by the daughter of the most famous specialty restaurant in Koreatown. Let me put it this way. To Koreans living in Los Angeles, if I give my address they do not know where I live. When they put my address into the google map, they still don't know where I live. But as soon as I speak the name of the specialty restaurant - they all knew. All Koreans knew. To some Koreans, they simply come to Los Angeles for her mother's restaurant. And Slicey Pizza is right next to that sanctuary. And whenever I passed by it was closed 90% of the time. So I always wondered the nature of this pizza shop. How come it's closed all the time but still here? Why don't the Korean restaurant buy this pizza joint and expend and accept more customers so I don't have to wait on line for the lunch hour? That kind of stuff. Then, I ran Airbnb and I realized that my Airbnb guests loved that Korean specialty restaurant(there, you can get super boost to your testosterone due to the exceptionally highly concentrated protein of mudfish embedded with special Korean herbs), I had no choice but to photograph that exceptional Korean restaurant for my Airbnb listing. That was when I met this early twenty or at the most mid-twenty-ish Korean-American woman who inquired why I was photographing that exceptional restaurant. So I gave her the exceptional reason above, and I inquired who she was. She was the daughter of that legendary restaurant. And also happened to be the owner of that Pizza place. So I had to try the pizza. After all, her mother's restaurant just occupies very special place for Koreans in Los Angeles - there's basically sentiment amongst Korean immigrant that original stuff from Korea's better. That could be true, but sometimes, stuff in America could be equivalent or better. Her mother's restaurant defines that claim amongst Korean immigrant and their visitors from S. Korea. That restaurant was the PRIDE for Korean immigrants in LA. And, I happened to just encounter the daughter who happened to be running the pizza joint. So I had to try it. And my verdict is - okay, yeah, pretty good. Solid. Yeah, the dough is crisp and there's just the right amount of tomato sauce - making pizza tomatoely and instead of cheesy or oily. And enough cheese and topping to fill for the most part. Homemade feeling for sure. Definitely better than franchise goods or iced pizza. My friends love it, too. So I could easily conclude; just like her mother, the young owner of this pizza parlor knows how to make solid pizza. The nature vs. nurture issue does not argue here; they become twin. EXCEPT I WAS WRONG. This pizza place hardly opens. And somehow, at certain extend of time, you cannot even order the pickup from the app. You could have only ordered for delivery and that kind of stuff. So for the last month or so, I tried at least five or six times to order a pizza from here and was not either possible. That freaking app almost gives you - the restaurant will open in another 11 minutes? Freaking bs. I wasted a lot of time. I even ordered from the grubhub once, and I got the notification that it was ready for pick up and when I went there the restaurant was not open. Yup, it was not open contrary to what the app was telling me. I was pissed, so many times. Some of my friends came over with some real good beer, and I wanted real good pizza and app simply freaking pushes the opening hours on and on... Today, I ordered again, and this time, I called first to make sure that the restaurant was open. It was and as soon as I went there, I was slightly worried that it was not opened, as the sign was off and etc. It was open and I got the pizza and man, it was what I missed in life! Taste. If you find it open, make sure you get some. Others, be cautious. They may not be open for the most part.
I really love this pizza! The owner is super nice! All of the ingredients are very fresh.! I definitely come back for next pizza!
Ordered from here through grubhub the other day and the grubhub driver messed up all over the place. I never got their name but the heaven sent person at Slicey’s absolutely killed it. They dealt with grubhub personally and had them find me a new driver and kept me posted every step of the way and still got me my dinner tasting good. Honestly some of the best service I’ve had in a minute. The food is delicious, wings are unmatched and the pizza is nostalgic and great. Cannot recommend them enough. If you’re ordering from there, order through their website rather than through the app, helps them out a bit extra and the deserve it all. Thank you again to the person who helped me out, never got your name but you are truly the best
Slicey’s is a great neighborhood spot! Sarah’s helped us out so many times and has been consistently so warm and friendly Pizzas are great! I love a classic pepperoni (get the cupping ones if you like pepperoni). My fiancé loves their specialty pizzas; you can’t go wrong. The Supremium and Flyin Hawaiian are solid. Bbq Chiq is fun if you’re feeling adventurous! Support local and check out this great place! Get over your social anxiety and call to place an order to get the pick up prices too! Apps charge an arm and a leg for delivery fees AND there’s app surge pricing AND they take a huge cut from the restaurant. Pretty whack. Calling is way more economical and Sarah really makes the phone call so easy 😊
Great pizza spot. I'm a sucker for 1. Supreme Pizzas, 2. Spice, and Slicey's delivers on both - great toppings for the supreme and the Sriracha swirl takes it up that extra notch into flavor country. The chicken wings are actually really good too, I'd rate them as-good-or-better than most wing spots really. Top it all off with friendly folks behind the counter and easy parking to boot.
Got a phone call from them letting me know the food was ready in 8 minutes. So I spread down to pick up, I was acknowledged by a very friendly lady and a great little shop. The pizza is fantastic, perfect amount of cheese/sauce and pepperoni, the salad was French and crunchy. And the wings were just the right amount of spicy. Will be eating here again before our holiday ends.

I love this place! I keep coming back! It's a nice locally owned pizza place. There's something about the pizzas that are so good!! Better than domino's (which I also love). My favorite flavor is the Hawaiian. Also, the 2 owners are super friendly as well. And the prices are very reasonable.
Cute little place. Yummy pizza after a long day of taking our exchange students around LA. Great service. We spilt an XL pizza and a large salad and at in, the took some cheesecake to go. Would come back if we lived here!!
WE! LOVE! SLICEY'S!!!!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Moved to the neighborhood about 6 months ago and were eager to find our perfect pizza spot. LOOK NO FURTHER!! Sarah is the kindest owner. Pizza is delicious and super affordable. You can tell they really care about their customers. Every time we call for pick up, they ask when we're arriving so the pizza can be it's very freshest when we get there. Honestly, writing this review is making me want Slicey's...so I'm going to order now!!
I saw that Slicey's had excellent reviews and decided to try it for the first time. Slicey's is hands-down the best pizza I've had in LA. I had the Hawaiian and I will be back soon to try all the other pizza and wings. The pizza was fresh, delicious and the price was GREAT. The icing on the cake was the super friendly service. The pizza was delicious. We got a cheese and a veggie. It was only $20 and it was genuinely the best pizza we have had in LA. On the veggie, the mushrooms were extremely tasty and the tomatoes were really delicious. And the cheese was special. We have a picky kid so we usually get a cheese for her. They work rosemary into their (very) delicious crust. It made polishing off the cheese pizza easy. Add in the fact the service was incredibly friendly and this really made our day. Great find. Definitely try it out even if it is a bit of a drive. It's worth it.
Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood pizzeria. Our usual order is the BBQ Chicken pizza - it's the perfect size for a hungry couple to finish off for a meal. Aside from the pizza being tasty, consistent, and very affordable, Sarah at the front is the sweetest. We're always greeted with enthusiasm, kindness, and a smile - she even takes the time to ask us about our life and follow up on conversations we had during our last visit. We really love being regulars here and look forward to coming by the restaurant to pick up our meal and say hello. If you live in the neighborhood and want to support some of your local businesses, I definitely recommend giving Slicey's a try.
My favourite pizza place in LA! Hands down the tastiest pies I have had here. I'm biased, I almost always get the supremium, with some added jalapenos. Oh and being Australian, I'll order a size larger and keep some cold pizza for brekkie the next day. So bloody good! The people working there are really nice and friendly and the service is great. I just wish they were opened later!

Really is the best pizza I’ve had and is so reasonably priced. Favorite is the Flyin’ Hawaiian and it never disappoints! These folks are the kindest, most hard working, and talented in the business. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend the Herbivore for an amazing vegetarian pizza loaded with mushrooms and veggies. The BBQ chicken is bright and punchy, totally recommend. Sliceys always keeps me coming back!

Our favorite pizza place in L.A. out of more than a dozen we've been to. We always get their XL Flyin' Hawaiian which has pineapple, Canadian bacon, and (real) bacon bits. Also, their music is so awesome- usually reggae or something similarly upbeat and laid back. I'm always Shazaming songs while waiting for the pizza Parmesan and pepper flake shakers are usually on the tables but if they forgot just ask, they're really good. It's worth it to ask
Super nice people here that are dedicated to providing fresh, hot food. I ordered a half ham and pineapple pizza and half cheese with extra sauce and garlic parm wings. The wings are crazy good and the pizza was tasty as well. Order directly from them to support this local business as the greedy companies like GrubHub take a percentage of their money! I will definitely order from them again and again....
Walked in about a half hour before they closed tonight and immediately noticed how friendly they were. After ordering, they proceeded to offer me TWO types of pepperoni AND shared the unreleased commercial jingle, both of which absolutely slapped. Seriously, the song has a perfect hook. The pizza was delicious! We ordered an XL pepperoni and sausage and it was fantastic. The crust was light and thin, but still structurally sound to survive the drive home and not be a floppy mess. The final bites of the crust were so crispy and chewy. Even gave my parents a few slices and they said they'd be going. Have you tried Slicey's?

The barbecue chicken pizza is amazing! I also recommend the cream filled churros. This is not a chain, owned by some investor: The owners are super friendly, and the vibe is always chill. I recommend calling and ordering over the phone versus through Postmates, because they always tell you exactly how long it will take.
Don't go to Dominoes or Pizza Hut, they are advertising cheap specialty pizza, but we can agree that it's often too greasy, cheese seems like plastic and or our bodies feel gross after eating it. But now that I have found Sliceys. Rare to find such an all-around delicious and humble pizza place that isn't only staffed with some of the nicest people but also that they do their menu well. Every time I go in and grab a pizza, I'm fully satisfied with the uniquely tasteful and perfect thickness to my pizza dough and crust. The sauce isn't overwhelming which leaves all the flavors being compounded into the party of toppings. Hawaiian, well,some thinks it's a blasphemous pizza, i think it's flipping legit! They do it right at Sliceys. I've had the pepperoni (fav) also, not too greasy and delicious every bite. In ktown, best pizza place.

Cozy lobby with plants to liven the energy. Pizza was excellent quality ingredients with a very well tended and airy crust. Bottom is textured but not super crispy. Slight flop but overall super high quality. Pricing was super fair and tax was included in the price for easy of payment! Overall that was the reason I liked my visit but the friendliness and helpfulness of Sara the staff today was the highlight and truly why I LOVED my experience at Slicey’s. Provided lots of info on the menu and offered to make me a half and half pizza! If you’re looking for a unique and satisfying experience please consider seeing Sara at Slicey’s :)

The chocolate filled churros are also the perfect sweet treat. A wonderful place to support! Love these guys 🫶 PS. The interior and branding are also so cute and nostalgic

The actual pizza was good... I got a half supreme and half BBQ chicken. The crust is on the thin side so a large would feed about 3 people (2 really hungry people). The pizza took a while to get out even though it didn't look like there were many orders on front of mine. The restaurant is very small so if you want to done in during a busy time you might have a long wait for a table.
Ok....so the Pizza is good...ordered extra large pepperoni, red onion, and mushroom...the sauce is has favor..please keep the red onions ...ok definitely get a extra large ..use the website when ordering for pick up...no fountain drinks just can sodas not sure if they have bottle coke...parking is good ..dine in is small maybe enough for two small groups...when I called in they didn't ask me for a name for my order but it seem like they were busy..overall its a solid 4.....next time ill request my pepperoni underneath the cheese to see if they are 5 star in service..

We ordered the pizzas via the online menu and asked for a pickup time that was soon after they opened. The pizzas were late (because the store opened later than advertised) but it all worked out fine for us. I suggest calling and ordering over the phone if using take out.

Hard Critique: wet towel smell on counter, pizza was too thin, so toppings and cheese fell off type, wings being used are too fatty and not lean enough. Good decorations and very friendly people.
