Carmen the parking lot enforcer threatened to call police before entering the restaurant. Can't park and have a conversation about phones while waiting for the rest of the family. F.Y.I parking lot was empty
Delicious birria. Been coming here for more then 10 years.
Top quality food at a reasonable price. The goat meat is delicious. No after taste. Soft and tender. They give you beans and chips if you dine inside. They also have free valet parking so you're vehicle is secure. Best spot in Southern California for goat birria. You need to try it. Worth it.
BEST IN TOWN- I have tried many birrias in my life here in Cali and Mexico. The winner has been found and I'll tell you why. The goat is roasted to perfection. So you have these delicious bites of tender with a consume that breaths rich in flavor. Tortillas homemade, beans better than your mom's.
Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in town! The service was outstanding, with a team that went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. The food was a burst of authentic flavors, and the presentation was top-notch. The vibrant, colorful ambiance made every visit feel like a festive celebration. I'll keep coming back for more!
Excellent! Great prices for a birria that's completely off the hook. Very simple and straightforward menu but each item has specific taste. I went there at 7am and by 8 the place was bumping. Tepache was really good and the rest of their aguas frescas looked refreshing. The portions were good and the service was very attentive. ADA capacity and amenities were available.

Amazing food you can even bring your own pot. This place is so yummy. Me and my whole family loved the birrieria and the bean dip. The salsa is delicious too.

The beeeeeest most delicious Birria around LA! Worth the drive for the craving. They serve some beans and chips as you wait for your food but their super fast all the time. The Service is amazing! …
Guadalajara has one of the best birria. Jalisco was where birria originated... By the way, no matter what people say, birria is by its definition is made with goat meat. NO COW!!!! THAT'S NOT BIRRIA... Today, I stopped by birrieria Tlaquepaque. Tlaquepaque is located within the Guadalajara metropolitan area. So I was to a good start. The waitress was friendly and she helped me decide what the best selection was. I was there for the birria, so that's what I had. In one of the reviews I read, it said that their agua de horchata was great. To my surprise, it wasn't homemade, but bottled in a plastic bottle, which was disappointing. As a free entrée, they served refried beans with refried tortilla chips. The beans tasted delicious like my grandma used to make. Then the birria arrived. The consome tasted a bit light, but it was good. The carne maciza was delicious with the added cilindro, chop white onios, and salsa, all this paired with the just made corn tortillas. It was a simphony of flavors coming together in my mouth. A reminder of times gone by. Please come and enjoy the birria in this restaurant. Keeping this Mexican tradition a life and we'll. Light and love to everyone.
Birria is authentic, birria 🐐, beans, chips, homemade tortillas, and salsa are very delicious. Service was good, the place is small and clean. The only set back is the restrooms. They were dirty and smelled. There also right where the tables are, where people are eating. So dont forget to leave the fan running 🤣. I will be returning the food was 👍👍🔥🔥. Still serving and open during COVID cough 19. Mind you Take out only. 💣🔥🔥💣🔥💣😋😋
The prices is high I ain't going to lie but the birria is fire it's so good I come here maybe 2 times a month

Usually this spot is one of my favorites recently I came to buy for my boss and her experience was terrible I ask the waitress for only meat and they gave me just bones terrible food
Good Birria but extremely expensive! Portions are too small. Workers are not friendly.
Wanted to come here but don’t want to be chased out the parking lot
Server was great but the quality of the food was very disappointing. The birria broth and meat was very salty, and the quality of the meat was pretty bad for maciza. They served me small chunks of meat mixed with small bones. I should have gone to a couple of other birria restaurants that are down the street from this one. Oh well, I gave it a try but not going back again. I did not finish my meal and I’m still hungry.
Honestly this place was the best birria in L.A But I went today and what a disappointment the birria is watered down before the meat was had a crispy outer layer that's gone.. and they served it with too much broth but the broth is bland (watered down) also they are serving it in plastic containers while still very hot. Unfortunately is not what it was before, they lost a long time customer here.
They do not sale individual birria meals to go. They only sale family meals. I even asked for birria tacos and the lady said we can only sale you carne asada tacos. So if you're looking to buy in…
Customer service sucks there's an older lady with a bad attitude when I couldn't decide what to order.she was rushing me, because she had other customers.thats what she told me. And after I was fin…
Service was ok but the food needs more attention. Maybe cook the meat a little more to make it more tender? .
Lo unico bueno de este restaurante son los frijoles y son de lata. Los tacos tienen mas tortilla que carne. Ahorrense su dinero.
Kicking people out of the lot as soon as they pull in is a way to not get customers!
Came to eat before a concert and the lady who attended us had an attitude. Definitely will not go back
Very bad customer service, place is hot and food look unappetizing. Don't eat here Rather spend my money on king taco or something else
I have been coming here for over 20 years and was the best birria to me in town.I went back today and not sure if the restaurant was sold to different owners different staff and the birria is not good any more. What a disappointment.
My wife and I went here for lunch. The food was OK. Not great but not bad. After we finished eating, the lady that runs the restaurant came to our table and gave us our bill. We wanted to talk for a bit after lunch so say for about 5 minutes. The lady came back to our table and with an attitude asked us when we are going to pay for our food and that she doesn’t think we could get away if we dined and dashed. We were shocked. We are in our thirties and tourists from Canada. The last thing we were going to do is run out of the store without paying. She was very rude to assume our intentions. We are in the area twice a year and will NEVER return. Have some respect and just allow us to talk a few moments after we finish eating!!
I was really looking forward to trying this place after hearing some good things, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, and it took over 30 minutes just to get my food, even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The birria, which is supposed to be their specialty, lacked flavor and was overly greasy. The tortillas were stale, and the portions were much smaller than expected for the price. To make matters worse, the staff didn't seem very attentive or friendly. When I asked for a side of salsa, it never came, and I had to remind them twice. Overall, the quality of the food and service just didn’t justify the cost. I won't be coming back and can't recommend this place to others.
I picked up a friend from nearby after flying in and we were just trying to grab lunch. But while talking in the parking about old times this Karen came out yelling 😒 but even so we went inside and sat.......but I just smelled dirty kitchen and the place was empty and honestly she had a worse attitude towards me. So we threw a 5 on the table and then left and found an amazing food truck and you could see the whole kitchen and it was spotless and the food was amazing
I was really looking forward to trying this Mexican restaurant, but sadly, it was a huge letdown. First, the service was incredibly slow. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and the food took even longer. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disorganized and barely attentive. As for the food, it was far from authentic. The flavors were bland, and everything tasted like it came out of a can or was microwaved. The portions were small for the price, and nothing on the plate stood out. I've had better Mexican food at fast-food chains, which says a lot. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I doubt I'll be coming back. There are far better options in the area that actually deliver on both service and flavor.
