Opinions de Ubatuba Acai Los Angeles
Great vibes on the inside, nice colorful decorations, friendly staff. The acai bowls are amazing - highly recommend! The empanadas are pretty disappointing though, regardless I go back often for the acai bowls
I'm here several times a week. They greet me by name and know my order before I say anything. Best acai in Ktown! Trust me, I've tried them all! Also, lots of vegan empanadas!
The best açaí bowl you’ll find in LA! But this location in particular makes the best açaí bowls. You don’t need to do too much with the toppings either. Get an Almada bowl- and thank me later. Service is great. The staff remembers people and orders. If you have it once you will definitely be back for seconds
I’ve long been a fan of açaí bowl as it’s only available in America. It’s a healthy treat 😋 good for the skin!
I went down to grab my usual treat. An acai bowl with a mango base with banana and strawberry for my toppings. This place never skips a beat, very consistent! I'll be returning when the craving hits.
As a returning customer, I have to say I’m really disappointed with the quality and value at this location. The strawberries and blueberries are consistently very sour, which throws off the balance of the bowl. But the biggest issue is the amount of açaí—they are incredibly stingy with it. While the açaí itself is tasty, the portion is so small that it feels like you’re paying mostly for toppings and granola rather than what should be the main ingredient. For $17 a bowl, I expect way better. What’s even more frustrating is that the large bowl here is the same size as the medium at the Santa Monica location, which means you’re getting significantly less for the same price. It’s just not worth it when other locations are offering better portions and quality for the same cost. If you’re looking for value, this isn’t the place. I won’t be coming back unless they improve their portion sizes and fruit quality.
One of my favorites places to visit for an Acai bowl! Great vibe, never busy when I visit, fresh fruit in the bowls. Cool place to get work done as well since they have wi-fi or take an hour or so and hang with friends and catch up since they have board games. Lastly, I have to mention their empanadas. I get one every time I go. The mushroom one is my favorite!!!
I really consider myself an Açaí Bowl Enthusiast! While this was not the best Açaí bowl I’ve ever had it definitely was the most properly prepared bowl I’ve ever had! On top of that it was really good not loaded down with lots of of sugars to make is super sweet! The staff here are super friendly and I even seen one of the staff members chase down a client to give her the phone she left! I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back for the açaí bowl but if I’m in the area again I’ll stop in!!
Thank you for Ubereats and Ubatuba so that I can enjoy indulging in delicious Acai bowls 2 am! I hope you keep these hours open.
Amazing Açaí Smoothies. Great customer service and speed of service. I’ve tried a few across the city and even in various cities on the West Coast. These are still topping the charts. If you’ve been to Brazil, the Samba vibes are definitely in full effect here. Great traffic of locals and tourist. Enjoy.
I try açai spots all over the country and this was one of my faves. The açai blend will seem a little icy at first, but stir it up and once it starts to thaw it’s perfect. Delicious blend, toppings that can be added a la carte, lots of peanut butter and decent serving sizes make this place a winner!
I like the Açaí bowls from here. Fruits are fresh and the service is good :)
Their acai bowls are reasonably priced and generously portioned. Fruits are fresh and sweet and the staff are friendly and helpful, if you're not familiar with ordering. My personal favorite is the Almada in medium without the honey drizzle, because the acai, granola, and fruit are more than sweet enough for my taste.
Great Acai bowls, fruit is fresh, and presentation is 5+ stars. It is a good place to relax and enjoy healthy meal. Atmosphere is light and you can enjoy board games and good music. Will come back again!
I stopped by for some empanafas and pancakes de quiejo. Everything was so dry! Please don't put it in the oven for so long. It was not cheap either! 4 beef empanadas, one order pan de quiejo and one orange juice $40. Even the juice although fresh squeezed was watered down! I'm truly disappointed and I doubt I'll buy another Nonnas empanada. The only good thing was the chimichurri.
One of my favourite places for a quick healthy snack. Good prices and friendly staff. Hight quality food and big portions. The Açai smoothie is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Also the açai bowls and empanadas are great. Highly recommend it.
Usually not a fan of acai bowls, but these were incredible!! Loved the granola and super fresh fruit. Also had the cheese bread and empanadas, perfect lunch.
This has been the best acai I've ever had!!!! This place is what for me started my acai addiction. I loved the acai's quality. The toppings, the consistency ,the freshness it's outstanding. Truly worth every penny
Every summer, i visit here to have acai! They have fresh fruit all the time, you can have sweeteners or honey on the side if you want ! I think the normal sized bowl is just enough for one person
Been coming here for almost ten years & I haven’t had a better acai bowl 🩷🩷 Natalia is the sweetest person I’ve met. Cant believe she remembers my acai order 😭 maybe I’m biased but their acai is the best from even the other locations. their Greek yogurt with the granolas hit home
Great service and generous serving of açaí and toppings. Fair price too!

Everything is great except for parking. Parking can be an issue depending on time of day. It's a small parking lot, it's in K-Town. There is a valet parking service present but I did not use them. I did a takeout order and left.
They give you a good portion. Decent price. Good service, not a place or location i would hang around at.
I usually come here when I'm in Korea Town to find some peace, quiet and nutritious healthy food. I usually get a loaded acai bowl with at least 2 chicken empanadas and dine in. With so many restaurants and cafes in Los Angeles this place stands out not only for the menu, great seating and clean restroom. But because of the professional, courteous and genuine staff The only thing that I do not like about this area is the limited parking. Other than that I would highly recommend this place to sit down and study or hang out with good company. Shout out to my homie Rubelino and Palomita who introduced me to this place Have a blessed day yall
Absolutely love how this space is an amazing community place to play some games, enjoy acai, and have tea. Definitely a beautiful and wonderful courtesy touch to have the lovely tea station for guests to enjoy, which is what makes it my absolute favorite ubatuba location!
I had a great experience at this location. Clara, the attendant who helped me, was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me build my order and it was ready I'm less than 5 minutes! My açai bowl was delicious!

Fruit was really good and the service was very quick! Only thing was it was pricey for what it is.
Kind of expensive every topping just be prepared to pay.
For sure this is the best açaí I’ve had in Los Angeles. It’s better than the best in the OC, where I’ve had the worst açaí I’ve ever had. Lately I’ve been coming at around 10 am. I’ve ordered Puruba bowls with honey and bee pollen and high cost about $15. At around this time you can often find free parking in the lot. I’ve mostly ordered açaí on doordash. Today I saw a parking spot and left as soon as I git my food. Even though Ubatuba is a chain it has maintained considerable quality over other similar chains. Even though it’s a chain they manage to seem like they’re not which is good. Big, enormous drawback: parking is now almost always valet. Absolutely lame. C’est la vie in Koreatown… The prices aren’t that bad. I pretty much always get a medium Puruba. It has açaí, granola, strawberries, pineapple and passion fruit pulp. I add bee pollen. I also like their pao de queijo. Sometimes it’s hard and dry and truly awful, but when you get a good batch it’s quite good. Not the best I’ve had though. I’ve also tried the empanadas which are decent but expensive, and are made elsewhere. The place is usually empty so there’s no ambiance. Most people do take out. Service is quite friendly and fast. Valet parking. Ugh
Great taste. Insane prices. $17 for açaí bowl is nuts. Also parking is tragic here at night. Good luck.

This is supposedly the original location, and because of that the ordering process is a bit different. I was surprised that my regular order wasn’t available due to their system. You also have to pay before making your bowl, which threw me off at first. Overall, just something to be aware of if you’re used to ordering elsewhere.

Ubatuba K-town has good service and fresh eats. The acai and smoothies here isn't the best but his the spot. They have a variety of empanadas, including vegan and vegetarian friendly options. Currently closed for dine-in options, but they do have spacious spot with plenty of room to distance. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses but you can usually land a quick spot or via street parking closeby. Amazing fresh squeeze orange juice. The beyond empanadas are something to be enjoyed. Their 3 for $15 deal is a winnner.
I order a alamada but they didn’t add the things that were in it and I said for the extra in there too but they only add the extra toppings not the fruits that were suppose to be there.

The Acai bowls are still good and I have been going to Ubatuba Acia Ktwon for over 2 years. I noticed a few months ago they raised the prices by 20% and put less product in the bowls. They even put a kiosk to order during busy periods and reduced the staff. It's too bad things had to be optimized for profits instead of customer experience.

I love ubatuba but this location is the worst one I have been to. They charge extra for everything and give you baby portions with no variety. My açaí did not cover the whole bowl and I got a tea spoon of milk I asked for. Go to other ubatubas but this location just over charges... the taste I must say is still the same.
The acai is good, however, after ordering in person, the two employees forgot about my order and began eating fruit while I was sitting there for 20 minutes. I was the only in-person customer, and after asking them if my order was ready, they didn’t apologize or acknowledge their mistake.
Went Saturday afternoon after a few months away, and was shocked that a large bowl came three-quarters full! I've never seen this before anywhere!! Everyone is real nice but the bowl is not nearly full. Paid $14 for large for what would have fit in a medium. I'll post the pics. Doubt I will go back with so many other options.
They claim it’s 32oz for the large, which is strange because most locations have it at 24oz for the large. Either way, it wasn’t even remotely close to being filled to the top. One of my bowls weighed 714g, and the other weighed 606g. They were the exact same order. This place sucks. Do not come here. Go to the Pasadena location instead. They literally fill it to the top so much that the lid barely stays on. They also allow unlimited toppings.
I usually order delivery, but this time I decided to come in person. I ordered two California bowls and had a really disappointing experience. I wasn’t asked if I wanted juice or milk blended with the açaí, wasn’t asked about my additional two toppings, and wasn’t asked if I wanted a honey drizzle (which I didn’t want). On top of that, I wasn’t told about the $8 bowl special they offer on Thursdays, I only found out because I happened to look at the checkout kiosk while waiting. If you go in person, I recommend ordering online or using the kiosk so you can actually choose all your options and get what you’re paying for. Spending almost $30 for an order like this was very disappointing. Cashier seemed more in a hurry to put the order in instead of asking what I wanted.
