Lovely service and great NY style pizzeria. The casual ambience of the restaurant is very comforting too!

Come at least every 2 weeks. Dabbing oil from your pizza will get you in trouble from the owner 👀 flavour police. Best spot

This pizza takes me back to NY. Anytime you need that NY pizza fix, come here. From the tile wall to all the old photos of New York history. To the sometimes east coast hip hop. Taste a slice of NY. Only spot in LA to get a NY slice!

Mouth watering thin crust pizza cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven. The spaghetti and meatballs was good too, very saucy and was cooked al dente.

I tried the meatball sandwich and it was delicious very good marinara sauce and the meatballs were juicy and flavorful and I took thick crust sausage and meatballs pizza for dinner and it was the best

Had their pizza for the first time tonight through Uber Eats delivery. Got just an OG pepperoni pizza and LOVED it. The red sauce is delicious. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

Best New York style pizza in LA! I have not found a pizza joint like this in town and the service was great. The owner is always around and super nice.

A Taste of Brooklyn in Every Bite! I just had the most incredible dining experience at Village Pizzeria, and I'm still dreaming about the flavors! This hidden gem perfectly captures the essence of a classic Brooklyn pizzeria, and the food is simply divine. I had the Gigi's pasta with chicken, which was packed with an array of fresh ingredients - penne pasta with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, roast red bell peppers, black olives, and garlic. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that left us craving more. But the pièce de résistance was the slice of clam and garlic pizza, topped with our choice toppings of mushrooms and anchovies. The crust was crispy perfection, and the combination of toppings was absolute heaven. What truly sets Village Pizzeria apart is their commitment to using only the freshest ingredients, and it shows in every dish. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a authentic Brooklyn-style pizza experience, look no further than Village Pizzeria. We can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious creations!

We hosted a birthday at Village Pizzeria and both the food and the service were outstanding. This New York style pizza parlor is a decades-long institution in Larchmont, and one of our family favorites in LA. When we asked if we could host a birthday party there, Amy not only obliged but even offered to open the kitchen early to accommodate us. It's the type of service you rarely get these days, and a sign that Village Pizza has many more decades ahead of it.

I live down the street and finally decided to give it a go. did NOT dissapoint. Both the white and the pepperoni pizza are delicious. Thin, crunchy, even the crust is yummy! Also their ranch is delicious aswell. 9.5/10 for me :) new pizza spot for me and i'm only down the street!

The best pizza by the slice spot in LA! We're used to getting a late night single slice in NYC so this place is perfect NY stlye pizza! The original owners were from NYC, so you can definitely tell in their recipes. They have single slices and full pies and the garlic knots are great!!

My girl and I can bike from our apartment and get a banging slice of pizza here, and the surrounding neighborhood is great for biking and walking. Would I drive here? Probably not. Would I order delivery? Maybe. Would I be upset if this place ever went out of business? Definitely. Service is very matter-of-fact, but I guess that's part of the NY style ambience. The sauce is deliciously salty and seasoned almost like pasta sauce, definitely the star of the show. The crust is nicely balanced between soft and crispy but not as flavorful as Joe's Pizza or Apollonia's crust. The cheese is thick and stretchy but not too thick where you're choking on it. Idk but I feel like the slices hit harder than whole pies here.

I've had the pleasure of dining at many Italian pizza places in Los Angeles, but this particular establishment stands out as one of the very best. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. The star of the show, of course, is the pizza. The moment it arrives at your table, you can see and smell the care and dedication that goes into crafting each pie. The crust is a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, providing a delightful foundation for the delectable toppings. Whether you prefer a classic Margherita with its simple yet flavorful combination of tomato, mozzarella, and basil or a more adventurous choice like a specialty pizza, this place delivers on taste and quality. What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to using only the finest, freshest ingredients. The sauces burst with rich, authentic Italian flavors, and the cheese is of the highest quality. You can taste the passion and craftsmanship in every bite. The service is exceptional, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who are eager to make recommendations and ensure you have a memorable dining experience. The wine selection complements the pizzas perfectly, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. Don't forget to explore their dessert menu, which is a delightful end to a fantastic meal. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal in a charming setting, this Italian pizza place in LA is a must-visit. It consistently delivers on its promise of outstanding food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. I can't recommend it enough – it's a true gem in the LA dining scene, and the entire experience is one that will keep you coming back for more.

"I really enjoy the vibe of the streets here in Larchmont. It's the oldest pizza place in Larchmont. The food here is very traditional and has a homely taste, like it's homemade. The atmosphere of the store is very classic, with many neon signs feeling stylish. The most important thing, the taste of the pizza, is very true to the basics and doesn't fall short compared to any other pizza. I recommend everyone, whether travelers or locals, to stop by the streets of Larchmont and give this place a try."

Just wow! Excellent NY-style pizza in the peaceful, trendy oasis of LA that is Larchmont Village. My friends and I initially planned on splitting one pizza when we sat down. Once we saw the menu and couldn’t decide, we all got our own 🤣 5 stars for delicious pizza and excellent service. Stephen (or Steven*) is the man !! Will definitely be back soon.

Had great pizza and a Caesar salad. They served the dressing on the side, which is a little odd for Caesar, but tasted good, anyway. I spilled water on the floor and asked for something to clean it up with several times and no one brought anything. That was the only negative in the experience. Overall decent place with indoor/outdoor seating!

Came for lunch. Lunch special was HIGH value. 2 slices and a salad. The slices are legit New York size. They don't skimp on toppings. I'll be back! Parking is the one challenge. Plan for that, arrive early.

This used to be one of the best New York pizzas in LA and now it tastes like pizza from elementary school heard the original owner sold the business and don't know what happened to it not as good as it used to be that's for sure when recently went Pizza is undercooked and Soggy and tomato sauce has a bitter taste to it and almost $6 a slice for mediocre Pizza

Had a slice today, not exactly the borough style that I prefer but still tasty "NY style" pizza. Nice folks too, I recommend you give them a try. Just be ready for a pretty small amount of seating, it was very crowded when I ate lunch there on a Friday at 2pm.

I enjoy exploring new places in LA, and one of my memorable experiences was at Village Pizzeria Larchmont. My husband and I decided to create our own half pizza, selecting toppings like chicken, mushrooms, olives, and onions, all on Sicilian dough. To my surprise, it was amazing! The restaurant also offers pastas, calzones, drinks, and more. I definitely will come back and try the calzone next time. Overall, my experience was positive, and the pizza was super delicious, especially the dough!

Superb pizza and a particular New York -style ambience. Very friendly staff. Larchmont village is just an incredible which makes the trip over there even more rewarding. If you’re not feeling too guilty, then hop in next door for some of the best ice cream. The only downside is that the space is somewhat small.

Went with a couple of friends for a “linner”. No wait. We got some drinks, 2 18” Neapolitan thin crust pizzas: Village Special with anchovies 1/2 Pesto + 1/2 Clam and Garlic All the pizzas were super flavorful, the Village Special with anchovies was my favorite. The portion sizes are generous, so the leftovers were a welcome surprise. The only negative thing I can think of… I was expecting a crispier bottom pizza considering it was thin crust. Both of our pizzas were soggy on the bottom.

Although I have had great respect for Village Pizzeria in the past... the fact of the matter is they have not progressed and many new Pizza places have shown up and eclipsed them in product, in branding and in service. Village was good when there was less options but now we have truly exceptional New York Style and New York adjacent Pizza in Los Angeles that makes Village essentially obsolete. Resting on their laurels with their soggy, greasy Pizza that maybe old school New Yorkers may appreciate if they have been away from New York so long they forgot what New York Pizza is like. By the way, just because it's New York Pizza or Pizza in New York does not mean it's good. It pains me as a San Franciscan to also have to say Village Pizzeria's better days are behind them. If you think Village PIzzeria is good, I understand but if you knew about Apollonia's Pizzeria, Hot Tongue, Little Dynamite, Prime Pizza, Ozzy's Apizza even Roberta's and Pizzeria Sei - you would know why I say Village Pizzeria is for people with pedestrian pizza taste who enjoy stagnance and do not enjoy actual evolution or progress. Come on, you guys don't REALLY care about PIzza. Once upon a time you did, but this - it's like the Woke Remakes of Star Wars. Saying it's mid would be an improvement. Also, they really could use better customer service. The hostesses act like they don't even want to deal with you and/ or seem incompetent in a basic way. The PIzzaolos here aren't even worthy of being called Pizzaolo and they probably don't even know what that is or care. So in closing, why should you care about Village PIzzeria in 2024? You shouldn't. Village PIzzeria isn't even as good as Prince Street Pizza. Which is laughable. Village PIzzeria is like eating Boboli or something. At least it's not like eating a lunchable mixed with a Celeste Pizza like Fat Tomato and it isn't a disgrace to Pizza as a whole as Sampa's. But that is saying your Pizza is better than Pizza that knows it's not good. Village clearly thinks they have something way better than what they have. They know it deep down though. These people are just doing it because it's a job at this point. Just like Mulberry Street PIzza, stale and stagnant and honestly at this point if Village went out of business we don't really need you guys around anymore unless you're willing to progress. What excuse to you have to be lackluster like this when there are places like Santarpios who have been around since 1903 and Regina's that has been around since 1932 that have evolved more than this?

Popped in for a slice while in Larchmont…just plain slices available, which worked for me. Spendy at $6/slice…6/10 on the slice. Good crust, floppy carriage, sauce little to no flavor, on par cheese…worth a try

Well I visited here myself but I ended up waiting the pasta for 30 min after I getting a slice of pizza, well Im so sorry that nobody checked my table for next 20 min whether I wanted bill or waiting for food or something else but pizza was good, maybe I should come back with friends which is good for getting attention by server

I don't understand pizza places that just throw raw veggies on top of an already baked cheese slice, and serve it up calling it veggie pizza. That's a salad pizza. I want a veggie pizza. Y'know, with everything baked with the pizza. This is just lazy. Garage Pizza does this too :(

It was OK. I don't think I would go out of my way to eat here again. But if I was on Larchmont blvd.shopping I might stop in again if I was hungry, which is what I did last week. Pizza was OK. A little bit greasy though. I had a glass of rose' wine which was delicious. As for the service, not bad , pretty quick. But the staff, I can't explain, not really rude or anything, just kind of act strange .

Pizza is superb. And service matched. The Caesar salad was the worse I’ve had. Full of stale tasting croutons and about 5 bitter white lettuce hearts. No pepper and no Parmesan. I couldn’t eat it.

I ordered one slice of pepperoni Sicilian pizza for $7.29 and honestly, it wasn’t worth it. I’ve had Sicilian pizza at Prince Street on Sunset by far the best in L.A. and I gave this location a chance thinking it would compare, but it didn’t. The slice was dry and felt like an imitation of the real deal. I left knowing I wouldn’t come back. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because the cashier had good customer service.

This place absolutely blows in customer service. The bonehead owner doesn’t get it. Rude and abrasive even to the slightest whim. He has a response for every single comment and is always right. What other sane owner is so positively obsessed with monitoring their reviews ? Atrocious staff behavior as well. This guy should walk with his head to the ground ashamed like the soaking wet junkyard dog that he is. Look at the photo detailing all the regulatory restrictions even prior to setting foot on their property! Like YOU should be honored eating there. This exactly illustrates how many others have a problem with these no class urchins.

Thanks for your great pizza and service I ordered a plain slice pizza (add extra cheese)for to go about 11:35am It seemed weird when I open the box Too burn and thick to eat! And I have no time to go back. I’ll never forget this first experience in village pizzeria.

Called last night to place a pickup order and the woman on the phone was insanely rude. First time I called I ordered one pesto pizza with chicken and then was hung up on before I could order anything else. Was not given a total.... Nothing. I thought maybe the phone disconnected so I called back to verify the order and wanting to order another 2 pizzas for the large group of people we had gathered at my home for this holiday. Yet again the woman was extremely rude and short on the phone and before i could even order anything else I was hung up on yet again. By this second time my significant other was just staring at me in shock ( the calls had been on speaker) and told me to just order dominos because that was just incredibly rude. The food is good here but the customer service was just awful. I was going to be spending over $100 just for pizza and a side but nope..... we went elsewhere and even got it delivered

First, they were out of the top 5 beers. Some apparently hadn’t been sold in over a month. Pizza was not great, we ordered the Sicilian style feta and a prosciutto. Also 2 orders of garlic knots. The first order came out timely but the second took so long we finished our meal before it came out. The server was nice enough to waive them off of our bill because of that. The crust came out incredibly thick and unpleasant to chew through. The second pizza came out fairly soggy. Service was fine but the food was horrible. 3/10

I’m gonna say overall that atmosphere, and this location is great, but the service, From staff and attention to detail. It’s not all there, they start off by charge me for Parking water, to then come back and tell me didn’t have any left, then they gave me a Caesar salad to go, but when I get home, I realize there was no napkins or utensils. The pizza was OK. I rated four at 10, I have a lot of pizza to be able to give this proper judgment, but I feel Services very important as much as food, and they had zero service here.
