Stopped by Sweetpea's on our way to Cabo for a drink. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the owners very friendly! The drinks were well made, beautifully presented and the bartender was super kind and attentive. Highly recommend anyone to come and enjoy this great little spot in Los Barriles!

The food and service at Sweetpea's Tiki Bar & Grill are among the best in Los Barriles, and for the quality of food, their prices are among the best too. But, like all the restaurants on the main streets of Los Barriles, the endless traffic detracts from an otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Not a fault of this excellent restaurant, a reality of this growing town. We'll be back.

Sue had the grilled shrimp skewer. Good portion, great flavour, a bit salty but I use 50% of the salt that recipes call for as we are salt sensitive so it could be us. I had the spicy tuna Poke bowl. Good portion of fresh raw tuna in a bed of rice and cucumber topped with a half an avocado, then a great spicy mayo and sesame seeds. Again, too salty for my likes, but I often say that when I eat out. I would rate the experience as 4.5 / 5 so worth a visit. It was opening night so they were busy and it was a great turnout so service was slow.

Oh my gosh! Food was so delicious, gluten free notes on menu (my partner is celiac), everything was so good. Had the signature margarita, mojito, cucumber boats, vegetarian nachos and more. Stop here! You’ll dig it. Valdemar is the most sweet handsome best bartender! Smiles galore

If you are in town you must stop by. Drinks are amazing and I cannot say enough good things about the food. Well thought out delicious dishes. Lots of gluten free options. Friendly staff, live music some nights, and perfect location.

Amazing service from very personable staff, great Poke bowls with the best fresh ahi in town (we are traveling from Hawaii and this is the best that poke gets!!), and a clean and inviting atmosphere. U must go to sweet peas if u r in the area or even if u r going to Cabo - it’s only an hour north to get to Los barrilles!! The food was AMAZING!! Easily the best food we had in Los barrilles! The drinks were so fun and delicious and the owners were so nice and welcoming! Go to sweet peas u won’t regret it!!

Their menu has tons of variety, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll love. We shared the salsa trio to start, and it was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas, and the sauce was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—creamy with just the right hint of spice. My husband tried three different tacos, and he really enjoyed them all. Overall, Sweetpeas is a great spot for a delicious, laid-back meal in Los Barriles. Highly recommend checking it out!

This place is a FIND. We were taking a few days to drive from La Paz to Cabo and stumbled in here because it was a few minutes walk from our hotel (Hotel Los Barriles is the best!). We had well poured and delicious tiki drinks which were a total welcome from all the margaritas and beer we'd had the last month in LP. The owner gave us some great pointers for the area and the drive back up to the US. The place has a very laid back, fun, but chill polynesian vipe which is a nice break from the usual taco and burger spots. If you're near LB at all, detour here!

My wife and I have spent a good deal of time at Sweetpea’s over the past 48 hours. What a treat to find a tiki bar while chillaxing in Los Barriles. I have sampled almost all of the tiki drinks. My favorite is the Pain Killer. I am truly feeling no-pain. Tonight we had a special BBQ chicken and potatoes which was great. My wife ordered the vegetable skewers. As a die hard carnivore, I turned my nose, but when I tried it, it was amazing. I ate most of it. The bed of rice complimented my next drink. I got to talk with the owners and they are great. They are very helpful with local questions.

This place is a hidden gem. The pina colada cocktail was delicious and well presented. The pulled pork nachos were really good and the tuna poke bowl was amazing. The staff were very attentive and pleasant to deal with. I'd definitely return if I was in town for longer.

Es gab Nüsse und einen Shot aufs Haus. Top. Der Straßenlärm störte etwas. Zu Essen hatten wir die Nachos mit Steak bestellt, die uns enttäuschten. Sie waren geschmacklich ok, aber zu trocken und leider die bisher "schlechtesten" auf unserer Reise.

My wife and I ate at Sweet Peas last night after the non-profit fundraiser across the street. We each had 1 drink and ceviche and both got food poisoning…having it come out of both ends all night long! Turned into the worst night in Baja we’ve ever had. I would NOT suggest eating food there!!!! 🤮
