Want to say a massive thank you Maisie who made our meal such a pleasure! Served with a huge smile & politeness! Maisie was extremely helpful and friendly. The whole experience was smooth, booked a table for Sunday lunch & it was so enjoyable! The atmosphere was great & all staff were super friendly and polite. Very welcoming! Then the FOOD! Wow! I had the Trio of Roasts with a sticky toffee pudding to finish! It was absolutely delicious and massive - as you can see from the pictures! Thank you for providing such a great meal :)

Shout out to the steak night on Thursday evenings. 2 fillet steaks with all the trimmings, a choice of sauce and a bottle of wine for £60. Perfect for a treat with a mate or a meal with your significant other... Steak is top quality too.

Amazing place, great food and service. I was made to feel very welcome on my first visit on a packed Saturday afternoon when I popped in for a pint to check the place out. My second visit didn't disappoint when I went back for a late Sunday lunch. £18.50 for chicken roast. Booking ahead definitely a must. Thank you for looking after me 💓

We had our wedding on 21st July 2025 and it was just amazing! Sian has been incredible from start to finish, all emails regarding the wedding were replied to promptly. All staff were amazing on the day, guests commented about how friendly and attentive they all were and we couldn't agree more- thank you so much! Guests also commented on the food and how great it was for a wedding - especially the beef main that we had and the fish bao buns in the evening. The wedding day flowed so perfectly and everything just happened without us having to ask or question anything, all outside vendors were looked after by the team. Thank you again to everyone working that day for making our day one to remember :) Briony & Alex

If your looking for a bit of looking after and some decent food you can't go wrong yet you pay for what you get. Not overly priced but expect to add a few pennies here and there . Nice and quiet when the road not busy and the Steam train passes a few times over the weekend so all good 👍

35 of us were going by coach to visit Taylor’s Bell Foundry to see our church bells being refurbished and we needed somewhere for lunch on the way. I contacted the Manor who said they could accommodate us as a group despite us only having just over an hour between arriving and having to depart. The Manor was great at communicating with quick responses to any questions and acknowledgment of our preorder with any last minute changes. So we arrived at the Manor today to a very warm welcome, we were all served drinks then as requested, 35 hot meals all arrived promptly. The lunches were lovely, great quality, tasty and everyone really enjoyed it. All the staff were so lovely, big smiles, helpful and very professional. I honestly can’t fault the Manor and if I could, I’d give them 6 stars. Thank you all you really made our day.

Work meal out last night, really good environment, food and service. Would definitely recommend.

Needed one night to attend family party just down the road so unable to dine apart from breakfast. Staff excellent, very welcoming, warm and friendly. Room so spacious! Everything we needed plus comfortable be and good en-suite ((a towel rail would be useful and maybe a longer bathroom mirror would help as my wife is only just over 5 feet!). Breakfast was excellent, top quality food and served with a smile. Overall great value and thanks for a perfect stay.

Excellent Sunday Lunch (maybe the roasties could have been a little less soggy ), apart from that it was another satisfying visit to the Manor. Place was very busy when we arrived, but this did not have a negative impact on the service. Matt looked after us from start to finish, always appearing at the right time to deal with our requirements. Well done to the entire team who have contributed to the Manors 20 years of excellence.

We have just celebrated our daughters wedding here on Monday. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. Everything was absolutely perfect and I mean everything. The day went so smoothly, the staff were fantastic, the food was amazing and the accommodation was out of this world. We can highly recommend this wonderful place. Thank you to everyone involved in our daughters special day.

Phil made us so welcome when we arrived to drop off our parents and their friends for an 80th birthday overnight stay and dinner. Very attentive down to earth and made me feel super comfortable about leaving them. I already k ow the service and food are amazing as it’s our go to family celebration place. The rooms are perfect and spacious and home from home 5 stars from us always x ❤️

We had a fantastic time for the New Year event. The food was superb, couldn't fault it at all. The room was perfect for our overnight stay and the bed was so comfortable. All the staff were amazing and worked their socks off all night. Best New Year we've had for a long time!

First time eating here and we will definitely be back. Our meals were delicious and the vegan bourguignon was the best vegan dish I’ve had locally in a long time. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was lively and the ambiance was gorgeous. Thanks all.

Family booked an event here. I booked rooms for family and from the very start everything was brilliant. The communication was perfect and on arrival with a few checking in at once it was treated with ease and joy..rooms are stunning, all family with a room were impressed. The door leading out to the hall for the event was a bonus, no queuing for the loo there. Breakfast was organised so we were all together..just could not have asked for more. Wonderful food, wonderful service and a great Venue. Thank you to all.

I am on a work trip, booked 1 night. I drove down from North Yorkshire, tired (and a bit stressed). Greeted with happiness and positivity by the guy wearing white jacket. All staff know exactly what they are doing. Good use of tech, i got my invoice emailed to me. its super busy, and i had not booked a table, but they squeezed me in. Such amazing service.

We stopped here for a wedding that we were chauffeuring for, the venue was fantastic with great service from the staff. Would definitely recommend this location, especially as the wedding couple used the steam railway location across the road for pictures.

We attended my nieces wedding here. Wow! From start to finish everything was well timed, very organised and beautifully presented. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The room was set out lovely. The staff were all very polite and worked very . hard. Best wedding reception I have ever attended. Well done to all the staff and management. We didn't stay in the rooms, so can't comment on them.

Had dinner in the restaurant on a sunny Friday evening. It was incredibly busy, but the service was flawless and the food very good. The staff were all young in their 20s, but you’d think they had decades of experience in top end London restaurants the way they managed a full house of covers whilst remembering to smile and engage despite being so busy. A really enjoyable meal and look forward to next time.

Visited this evening for a wedding anniversary meal and felt very well taken care of. The team had a bottle of Prosecco ready for us when we arrived as requested, and definitely made our evening feel special! Delicious food and great service, will be back again soon.

We visited the Manor house today in a recommendation and an excellent one it was. The Sunday roast is exceptional and the service was fantastic too, good selection of drinks and very good atmosphere in lovely settings, we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay just opposite Quorn station on the Great Central Railway. Rooms are in outbuildings at the rear of the main building. Stayed in a twin room which had plenty of space to move about and comfortable beds. The bathroom had a separate shower and large bath as well as a toilet and washbasin again with plenty of space. The room was very clean. They have a number of rooms which sleep various numbers of people. The food was very good with a good choice. The breakfast menu had a good selection. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area then this is the place I would highly recommend

We had our wedding reception at The Pavilion at the Manor House and we honestly had the most amazing day! It’s an absolute stunning venue and every single member of staff we met was so friendly. Alice and Dionne from the events team were incredibly helpful throughout all the planning and Dionne on the day amazingly even constructed our wedding cake! She put food aside for us to make sure we ate and kept everything running smoothly! The bar staff and supervisor we had on the night I really couldn’t thank enough, they were all so lovely and helpful. They took care of everything and nothing was too much! Again I really can’t thank them enough! It wouldn’t have been the amazing day it was without there good vibes and positivity. Thank you! Xx

I went to a wedding here one Sunday lunchtime a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. It's a beautiful venue in a location that isn't difficult to reach. There are plenty of parking spaces, the function room and the bar are very tidy and the food was great. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue to get married, it's lovely. We were in the rooms at the back but I did take a peek into the other rooms as we passed and it was very busy so the Sunday roast must be a winner!

R

Stayed in the hayloft and it was beautiful. The facilities were modern and clean, the towels were big and fluffy and all the little attention to detail stuff was great. We were at a wedding and the staff were lovely and helpful. The food was good and the breakfast the following the morning real value for money. A great stay

4 of us visited the Manor House at 4pm yesterday hoping to have a meal but without a reservation. As the pub, restaurant and garden were so busy, we thought it would be highly unlikely. We were greeted by amazing staff and were told it would be no problem at all. The food and service was excellent and with hardly any waiting time. The homemade Sunday roast was excellent quality and reasonably priced. I was very impressed how good it was especially being homemade and not something that had been pinged in the microwave! With the constant flow of meals and the attentive staff, you really deserve to do so well. Keep up the excellent work guys, we'll definitely be back!

Great experience. Very welcoming staff. Delicious food. A return visit when in the area is a must. Fabulous outdoor space. Had a sneaky peak at the wedding venue space. Absolutely lovely.

Just had a wedding at Manor House. The events team throughout the day were superb, organised and a lot of fun. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern with a nice comfy bed. The manor house serves a very tasty and well cooked evening meal with a good variety of food. Needless to say the breakfast was equally satisfying. The wedding venue is all on one level and accommodates circa 150 people across the day in a really well thought through operating space. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a carefree wedding. To boot, you get the regular steam train chugging past to add to the ambience of the day. Again, Superb!

We had a superb meal here last night, the food was amazing and we were looked after very well following a disappointing meal we had had recently. On hearing that things weren't quite up to expectations, the Manor contacted us and were very concerned that we weren't happy. They invited us back and really went out of their way to make sure that we were looked after and to meet our expectations - and they certainly did that! We always love coming here for a nice meal and will certainly continue to do so, knowing that they value their customers & if somethings not quite right, they will go out of their way to put it right! Looking forward to eating at the Manor again soon 😊

What a find this was... Great place to stay when visiting the steam railway. Our room (The rabbit hole) was huge and well equipped, with patio doors onto a private seating area. Comfy bed and hot shower. Knocked off 1 star because the green safety light in the middle of the ceiling is so bright we didn't sleep well. A sleep mask would of done the trick. The staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. We didn't have breakfast but our evening meal was really very good. Very large portions. Would love to go back and would definitely recommend.

Came for the first time today with the family and had a great meal. The establishment was really busy at the time and we had to wait for our table to be ready. While we waited we were asked to go to the bar until our table was ready. The bar staff were very professional. Once seated the restaurant staff seemed very stretched. The food however was lovely albeit we had to wait considerably longer for 2 meals to arrive. I was a little shocked as to how a bottle of wine is served as a waitress placed an unopened bottle of red wine in the middle of the table without saying a word. After several minutes it was clear we had to open the bottle and serve ourselves.

Just had a great meal at The Manor House. The only downside was we arrived early (15 minutes) and were told table would be ready for 2pm. Had drinks at the bar, others were arriving and being seated. We had been forgotten about!!! Almost 20 minutes after our booking were we seated. The Manager (we assume) did apologise, however if my other half hadn't gone to ask what was happening, not sure when we would have been seated. Fair enough it was busy, wedding in a separate area, but I felt as though we were invisible!!! The staff who served us were very good. I would go back, but wouldn't be prepared to wait any time after what we had booked.

Five of us had an evening meal. The ambience was good and the waitresses were excellent. Four of us were happy with the food but unfortunately one of us had a sirloin steak which was so tough it was barely edible

My daughter got married at the annex at back of the hotel, It was perfect for what she asked for, staff were really friendly and day went really good.. We also saw steam train running along a track at the back every 30 mins or so which the children loved.....

Lovely food and dining experience, with great staff and a real nice buzz about the place. We went on a Thursday and enjoyed the Steak Night special which was good value. The menu also has a wide variety of dishes catering for all tastes. Looking forward to the re-introduction of the cheese board on the dessert menu!

This pub had been recommended by our friends so we thought we would give it go. First off, lots of parking and EV chargers which was a nice surprise, and a very warm welcome from I can assume the manager and staff. We ordered drinks and was soon seated, the room was nicely decorated and had a nice atmosphere however the temperature was alittle cool. We ordered a beef roast and was extremely surprised how fast it came out the kitchen, this i think would be explained later. The food looked well presented, however the plate was swimming in gravy which tasted like a basic Bisto . Would have been nice to have it on the side so you could pour what you wanted. The vegetables still had a snap / crunch and not boiled to death. The beef had beautiful in parts and medium rare but there was alot of sinu / fat which we both had to navigate. The roast potatoes looked well cooked but we're not crunchy as they had been placed under the beef and softened. But the killer of the meal was that it was only just about warm, so in the cool room as well I seemed to eat it very quickly before it got colder! I would have mention this is we had a check in but we didnt have one so it could not be rectified. I did mention it when the bill was delivered and they kindly knocked 30% of the bill without any question. For £24 per roast I would have been more happy to pay £18 with after the discount it worked out to be in guess. As we only went for food that's why its a 1 star for rooms as I didnt view one.

I came with my family to a Easter Lunch yesterday 20th April & was surprised that there was not a what I call as Table d'hote menu as in a 3 course special Sunday lunch menu available, so we had the main menu only for a Sunday Lunch which included a Sunday Roast Dishes which was fine. Now, bearing in mind I was in hospitality a good few years ago now as a Chef, so I know what I'm talking about here. Because your Sunday Roast Dishes are far too large a portion for most customers of your restaurant & for me. So I had decided to have a child's portion of a Sunday roast which the portion size was just fine for me. You may want to give it a go to give the customer a choice of a large Sunday Roast or a Standard Size Sunday Roast & reduce the price accordingly on the Standard Size Sunday Roast. Not everyone wants large portion sizes !! it will also cut down on food waste too !! with foods left on the plate due to its portion size. My child size portion Chicken Roast Dish arrived after my first course of the soup of the day which was presented to me with a very flat Yorkshire pudding which incidentally I did not want.(need to ask the question at point of ordering if I would like one or not, stops food waste again ! ) So we move on to the remainder of the dish and the Chicken breast was fine & well cooked, However my roast potato's were black & overcooked together the vegetables of the same, over cooked & not crunchy vegetables which is the way they should be cooked ! So to that end I suggest you have conversations with your Chef's on how to improve on the customer experience at The Manor Quorn. Finally, the ladies that took our orders & served us our meals were very good at what they did for us during our time at the Manor in Quorn.

My daughter and I stayed over for one night as we attended our friends wedding. My son was best man and had an upstairs room. The weddings atmosphere was great and so was the venue. Our room Charlie's Den has been changed to a larger one to Scullery. Location was in the courtyard close to the venue. The room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower. I noticed a lot of dents on the walls and the ceiling. The room was advertised with Netflix but we struggled to sign in, the remote control wouldn't let us reason unknown. The worst thing was the bed. The frame was squeaking when you just sat down and the mattress was very uncomfortable unlike an Premier Inn room. Our backs were hurting for many days 😪. This is not what I expected from a luxurious room as a restful sleep is the most important thing. We did enjoy seeing the steam train going past the venue until late.

Had a fabulous meal at the Manor House Quorn yesterday evening. Part of a Christmas party. Service was excellent. And the food brilliant. I had the pate starter. Great pate and bread and the salad dressage mouthwatering. My main course sirloin steak. Best steak in years. The chips and onion rings were fab too. Sadly I was too full to eat them all. And the crème brûlée. Brilliant.

a

Food was average. The staff have no customer service skills - they were awkward, blunt and rude. The manager couldn’t manage a not too busy Sunday without getting flustered and being rude.
